Now, the latest news, weather and trafa.

Speaker 4 (00:12):
It's more of what matters to you from the John
Morris Services Studios.

Speaker 5 (00:17):
It is five am as we get started this morning
here on Houston's Morning News. Good morning, I'm Jimmy Barrett.
Among our top stories this have are going to have
to deal with a lot of rain today. They protested
the Right Way in San Antonio yesterday and coming up
in five o eight, Brian Wilson has died. So what's
your favorite Beach Boys song? Details in the minutes ahead.
You're in Houston's Morning News. First, we're checking out that

(00:39):
Morning Drive for the first time. Here's sky Mike m
This is gonna suck, all right.

Speaker 6 (00:43):
We got roadways this morning, wet everywhere. Obviously, the first
thing we do is turn off this news. The second
thing we do is watch out for other people. I
like the flashy light guy that just keeps their flashers
going on. Now they can't signal west Sam southbound in Fallbrook.
That's just a stall he's but he's in a right lane.
The other thing is visibility we share. I've got a

(01:03):
lot of dark spots on the freeways. Now you've got
Katie Freeway that's going to be a managed line.

Speaker 5 (01:08):
Bunker Hill, this is the wreck. It's a left shoulder.

Speaker 6 (01:11):
And also you've got forty five North Boundary Research Force.
This wreck's looking pretty real. This is three left lanes
going to be like this all morning. Probably one hundred
things this morning with spinouts and everything. So get an
early start, please Skymike on the USA Rvresorts dot Com
traffic center.

Speaker 5 (01:28):
From our KTRH top tax defenders twenty four hour weather center,
thunderstorms and heavy rain. Some spots could see six or
more inches of rain today, so that gives you an
idea what we're dealing with. I temperature right about eighty.
We'll get Terry Smith in here in about eight minutes
with the complete forecast and led to know where maybe
the heaviest rain is going to be when we talk
with her right now seventy three at your official severe

(01:49):
weather station, News Radio seven forty k TRH. It's time
now for the news. Here's Clep Sanders Hey Jimmy at
five oh two.

Speaker 7 (01:56):
Our top story you mentioned, did Jimmy, We're tracking rain
in storms this and you can keep track of the
potential power outages in the radar by going to Operations
Stormwatch on KTRH dot com.

Speaker 5 (02:08):
Also topping the.

Speaker 7 (02:09):
News, nine hundreds protesting against Dyson San Antonio last night.
A total of two people were detained. DPS and the
Texas National Guard making sure there was no violence. Governor
Greg Gabbott vowing to keep Saturdays No King's Rally across
Houston peaceful too. We will use every tool that we

(02:31):
can to ensure order across our state. He's sending the
National Guard to several state locations. Houston Mayor John Whitmeyer
and Harris County Judge Lena Hidalgo have turned down Congressman
Wesley Hunt's offer for federal help. By the way, Hidalgo
is in Paris until Sunday, so she won't be here
for the protests. Five HT three on KTRH, Marines and

(02:53):
the National Guard spend a second night trying to keep
La quiet. Missouri Senator Josh Howley pushed back on dem
claims that the violence was all President Trump's vault.

Speaker 8 (03:03):
I missed it when Donald Trump went and blew up
a car on Highway one oh one. I didn't see
him when he was assaulting cops. What I saw was
a bunch of lunatics who were waiving the Mexican flag
and other flags while they burned our own.

Speaker 7 (03:14):
Holly has opened an investigation into who provided the funding
for the LA riots. That said some conservatives would be
just fine with letting liberal cities like Los Angeles burn.

Speaker 9 (03:26):
But Bonchie with Red Stage says, we've already seen that movie.

Speaker 10 (03:31):
I don't think it's controversial to say that he acted
a little too late during the twenty twenty riots. I mean,
I think that's something that a lot of even the
biggest Trump supporters have admitted.

Speaker 9 (03:38):
And what about the upcoming protests, I think he could
get ugly.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
I wouldn't think it would be in Houston.

Speaker 10 (03:45):
You know, you might see some out of hand protests
in a place like Austin maybe, And I think you're
still going to be looking at the major blue cities.

Speaker 9 (03:52):
Jeff Biggs News Radio seven forty k t eh now
five oh four, Former Houston Mayor Innise Parker officially announced
as a run for him Harris County Judge, setting up
a potential primary if Lena Hidalgo runs again.

Speaker 11 (04:05):
I think Judge at Ago has huge issues to overcome
and will likely be defeated in the Democrat primary. That
battle will be expensive, it will be nasty and negative.

Speaker 7 (04:16):
Jared would fill with Conservative Republicans of Texas. S Parker
has a far left record as mayor, which could hurt
her in the general election. She will join Jimmy at
six point twenty. Meantime, disturbing new research, Houstonians in growing
numbers want the government to help them out economically.

Speaker 12 (04:34):
A study from Rice's Kinder Institute finds eight and ten
Houston residents think government should reduce economic inequality and nine
and ten think government should help people get a job.
Those numbers are more than twenty points higher than fifteen
years ago. Financial planner Mitch Kramer says we're creating a
dependent generation.

Speaker 13 (04:50):
People need to understand that they're going to be much
happier if they focus on salf reliance versus someone else,
and they'll be able to control their destiny much more
than some somebody else can, and self reliance needs to
be taught pip home.

Speaker 12 (05:04):
He adds that colleges have contributed to this problem by
giving out degrees that don't translate to good jobs. Corey Jolson,
who's Radio seven forty KTRH.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
At five oh five.

Speaker 7 (05:13):
Nearly half of Texas homeowners who found insurance claims in
twenty twenty four got nothing back. Forty seven percent were
closed without payment, often because deductibles were too high. Property
insurance expert Ron Snow, for SIS, there is a trade
off to getting a lower deductible.

Speaker 14 (05:29):
There's very few companies that still offer less than two percent,
But in order to do that, you're going to be
paying a higher premium, and premiums are already through the
roof compared to what it was five years ago.

Speaker 5 (05:44):
He says.

Speaker 7 (05:44):
You can finally complaint with the state if you think
you were unfairly denied. But that said, if you're in
the market to buy a house, you might be in luck.

Speaker 15 (05:53):
These days, the market four homes is going from favoring
sellers to favoring buyers.

Speaker 16 (05:58):
We've had such a low haul of houses going up
and up and up in value, and now we've got
people who are a little bit afraid, and we've got
a lot of people putting their houses on the market.

Speaker 15 (06:07):
Filter Caroli Gurley says the number of available houses has
picked up to the point that buyers have room to negotiate.

Speaker 16 (06:13):
Even we'll talk about interest rates. People are still buying.
We just have a surplus of houses. In buying is
starting to be more viable for people, and that's important.

Speaker 15 (06:21):
The latest support from the National Association of Wilter says
Texas has pretty much built its way out of what
was a home shortage that had been pushing home prices
of up. Charles Mollin on Who's Radio seven forty k.

Speaker 7 (06:32):
Inflation grew at a slower rate than expected last month,
but overnight futures are down almost three hundred points five
h six on KTRH.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
Sad news coming out yesterday.

Speaker 7 (06:47):
Is Brian Wilson, the legendary singer, songwriter and co founder
of the Beach Boys, has died. He was eighty two
years old. Christian Walker Homer and drove in four runs.
The Stros beat the White Sox ten to two game
tonight at six on Sports Talk seven ninety The Game
at seven on seven ninety and KTRH. I'm Cliff Saunders
on Houston's News Weather in traffic station News Radio seven

(07:10):
forty KTRH.

Speaker 13 (07:12):
The most important issue, what matters to you concerns me.

Speaker 17 (07:15):
The most matters to us the US economy, not the
f one kun Use Radio seven forty KTRH.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
Nineteen sixty six. Man, was that song I Have His
Time or what? I actually bought that forty five. It's somewhere.
It's all scratchy, but it's somewhere. I was a little kid,
but I scraped up probably fifty cents and went to
a little apartment store called Hessenaurers I bought that song.
I know I did. Beach Boys founder. And by the way,

(07:46):
we'll get to the weather in just a second here.
The traffic. Weather's gonna be a big deal this morning
with all this rain coming. That's gonna be our top
story for sure. But I did want to kind of
throw this out as the question of the day because
I think that for a lot of a lot of people,
certainly a lot of boomers, it's kind of a big
deal that Brian Wilson has passed at the age of
eighty two, one of the founding members of the Beach Boys,

(08:07):
founded in nineteen sixty one Hawthorne, California. You remember the
original lineup, You probably do. Three brothers, Brian, Dennis and
Carl Wilson, their cousin Mike Love, and their friend Al Jardine.
That's the original lineup of the Beach Boys. They had
a reunion tour as recently as twenty twelve where they
all performed. They were all well, all except for the

(08:28):
brother who died, Dennis, and it's again. It's kind of
a big deal. One of the best selling albums of
all time pet Sounds good Vibrations, which I was just
playing a little bit of there. I didn't realize it,
but because it's my favorite Beach Boys song, I just
picked it because it's my favorite, but it is. There
was their most recognizable and highest rated hit song. Good

(08:53):
Vibrations was number one. They had a lot of great songs,
but that one was far and away the most popular.
So here's here's my question. Good chance to reminisce about
something kind of fun to reminisce about. Which is our
youth or maybe your your your father's youth, because maybe
you're young enough where your dad is a boomer, for example,
and was a Beach Boys fan or a ficionado or

(09:15):
went to see them in concert. If you have a
great concert memory of the Beach Boys, or better you
have just your favorite Beach Boys song, and there's plenty
to pick from. You don't have to pick the hits.
You can pick something that's maybe a little bit more obscure.
Just go to the iHeart Radio f KTRH begas number
one in your preset talkback button. Hit that thirty seconds
up to you won't need it, but up to thirty seconds.
First name where you're calling from? Favorite Beach Boys song?

(09:38):
Five to ten? Time for traffic and weather, About to
Beach Boys? What's that'sk mine?

Speaker 6 (09:42):
Well, you know a lot of us, especially when I
was young, we thought of them as these clean cut,
all American voice.

Speaker 18 (09:48):
Right.

Speaker 6 (09:48):
I don't know if you if you read up or
did any documentaries on them, but they were just as
wild as Lead Zeppelin and had twice as many problems.

Speaker 5 (09:56):
Yes, do you remember what James what in.

Speaker 6 (09:59):
The Carter The Carter administration was like, we're not going
to have the Beach Boys because they're the wrong kind
of element, those hippies, and we all laughed.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
And rollers, Yeah, we were laughing at him, like the
Beach Boys, yead watch a documentary.

Speaker 6 (10:12):
All right, let's get busy. I know it's going to
be crazy this morning, two ninety. First of all, Terry,
let's turn the snooze off for everybody. No, every Freeway's
wet this morning. It's the slowest I have ever driven
to work this morning. If that tells you anything. To
ninety Hollister, you got this stall. He's just sitting right there,
minding his own business in the center lane. Look out

(10:33):
from Fairbanks, North Houston. It seems to be pretty well
lit over there. Katie Freeway, the manage line, Bunker Hill,
that's clear. Don't worry about it. Just keep dragging along
slowly like everybody else. South Loop eastbound two eighty eight
clear that wreck clear. North Freeway research heavy areas of
pinding now East tex Freeway inside the Belt to the
Loop nineteen sixty Humble, but between Humble and Crosby.

Speaker 5 (10:57):
You know the bridge you've got New ninety pretty heavy.

Speaker 6 (11:00):
The East Sam's heavy stuff, and I tend the East
Freeway between the Belt and Loop. Jack City watched those
feeders also, we all know to watch those feeders on
I forty five between ten one and Park.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
Are those always flood every time it gets like this?

Speaker 6 (11:15):
Right back at you with weather wherever the weather is
high in the USAARV Resorts dot Com Traffic Center.

Speaker 5 (11:21):
From our KTRH top tax Defenders twenty four our weather Center,
Terry Smith us here right, you're gonna have come up
with a bunch of adjectives this morning to describe the atmosphere.
That'll be your challenge. Dale, I'll give you the first one.
Let's start with juicy, jeesey. The atmosphere is juicy today.

Speaker 19 (11:36):
Saturated would be the technical term, and yes, it's very
saturated out there.

Speaker 7 (11:43):
Okay, So in.

Speaker 19 (11:45):
Case folks are just waking up and kind of getting
a grip on what's happening this morning, we've got widespread
showers and storms and heavy rain that is expected. Some
of that's falling right now, and it's going to be
with us really off and on through much of the day.
They'll be breaks at times, but they won't last long.
Main thing is because of all that juicy atmosphere, we're

(12:07):
seeing some very heavy rain and so by the time
this winds down later on this afternoon early evening timeframe,
we've got two to five inches of rain that has fallen.
So flooding is a huge concern, and we have a
floodwatch until seven o'clock this evening. We are seeing some
localized flooding in spots, so allow more extra time find it.

Speaker 7 (12:29):
I'll turn it round.

Speaker 19 (12:30):
If your road's covered in water, you do not know
if the road has been washed away. One hundred percent
chance of showers and storms today upper seventies to low
eighties this afternoon. We're still dealing with the rain through
the weekend. A sixty percent chance of more storms tomorrow.
Fifty percent chance of that rain continuing Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Speaker 5 (12:51):
Temperature right now seventy three at your official severe weathers station,
News Radio seven forty KTRH.

Speaker 4 (12:57):
It's used in morning news. You buy new South Windows solutions.
Now back to Jimmy Barretts and the Houston Morning News
team all the info you need to take on the day.

Speaker 5 (13:08):
So the economists out there are kind of scrambling right
because they were expecting a much higher inflation report than
the one we got yesterday, which was pretty amazing. So
we'll share a little bit of the numbers with you.
Get some analysis of it coming up in a moment.
But again, the big story this morning is the weather,
where we could get five, six, seven, eight inches of
rain depending upon where you are today. So we're going
to take it slow this morning, and we're going to

(13:30):
keep you in the loop as far as what's going
on with your drive? Let's do that right now? Is
we check in once again a sky Mike?

Speaker 6 (13:35):
Oh, we got ponding. I just made Jennifer laugh. I said,
can we not have Kim on TV? I've got enough
on my mind already. Let's go east Sam southbound at
Lake Houston Parkway. I believe that's going to be north
Lake Houston Parkway. Yes, got a wreck here. This is
a right line coming down from a Tascacita. It's right
where all that ponding is too. You've got ponding, especially
on the east Sam item between the Belt and pretty

(13:57):
much downtown nineteen sixty Crosby Freeway. That's where the painting is.
We did clear the wreck on the south Loop at
two eighty eight that was going on the eastbound side.
It's out of the way. Just slow freeways everywhere you go,
and we did clear if you missed it. Forty five
at Research Force we cleared Katie Freeway bunker. He'll stay
the course, just stay it a lot slower. It's the

(14:18):
slowest I've ever driven Jimmy to work this morning. I'm
in the USA RV Resorts dot Com traffic center.

Speaker 5 (14:23):
What was that seventy five from our KTRH top tax
defenders twenty four hour weathers in a flash flood watching
effect until seven tonight. We're gonna get cope amounts of
rain today, thunderstorms, heavy rain. Some spots could see five, six,
seven or more inches of rain with a high temperature
right about eighty and then we're still going to get
wet tomorrow with scattered morning storms, then mostly cloudy for

(14:44):
the afternoon with more storm chances than a high eighty five.
Right now, it's seventy three at your official severe weather station,
News Radio seven forty KTRH. Get you caught up in
some more of our top stories here on this Thursday morning.

Speaker 7 (14:58):
Here's Cliff thank you, Jimmy, President Trump SA he's disappointed
in Elon musk Kosovo in Eastern Europe, agrees to take
in deported illegal aliens from the US. And Jimmy Joey
Chestnut maybe returning to the Nathan's Hotdog Eating contest on
July fourth. You'll remember he missed last year's contest over
a sponsorship issue.

Speaker 5 (15:18):
Gets the sponsors down around anymore, huh.

Speaker 7 (15:20):
Or he's just that hungry. Get the latest news anytime
at KTRH dot com. Our next update is at five
point thirty Pasadena.

Speaker 4 (15:28):
Living clearly reliable KTRH traffic band weather next on the ten.

Speaker 5 (15:36):
All right, we are very close to the FED target
five twenty three. So time here in Houston's worn to use,
inflation was at two point four percent in May compared
the same time last year. Prices rose two point three
percent the month before, So that seems to be a
slight increase, right one point one percent. But it actually
the report, actually we need to take a good look

(15:58):
at it actually said best shock upon shock, that inflation
is actually slowing down. It is a smaller jump than
previous months. We are actually trending very much in the
right direction. And this is, you know, this is after
terrorists have already taken impact. Now there are a few
economists out there actually seem to be willing to say, well,

(16:19):
maybe maybe the terrorists aren't going to have the inflationary
effect that we thought they were going to have. I mean,
these kindoms, some of them, I mean, they're just constantly wrong,
aren't they. It just feels that way. But we'll bring
on one on here and see what they think. RBC
economist Francis what's the last name here, Francis Donald. That's it.

(16:43):
I'm the cooler than normal inflation numbers. We'll see how
surprised she is about how this happened. Is she has
the discussion about all this on Fox Business with Charles Pain.

Speaker 20 (16:51):
We're gonna make a.

Speaker 21 (16:52):
Deal with you. Okay, let's say tariffs are not inflationary.
I don't believe that, but let's put it to the side.
I am still worried about inflation in America. And if
we continue to focus on the prices issue in the
United States just being about tariffs, I think we're doing
the American people at a service because what is lifting
prices right now? Even if I take tariff impact to zero,
I still end the year close to three percent. Why

(17:14):
house prices are still going to come up, especially.

Speaker 5 (17:17):
In their calculation.

Speaker 21 (17:18):
The labor market is very very tight, so wage growth
is high, and we still have an incredibly wealthy consumer
and a very big government. These are all the inflationary forces.
So you know what, tariffs, let's agree to disagree, but
it's a side show on the real underlying inflation.

Speaker 22 (17:32):
Prices start to come down home I'm hearing I'm saying
nothing but negative housing for the most part, So.

Speaker 5 (17:37):
That's might start the way in a little bit.

Speaker 22 (17:39):
Those didn't get a trillion, but they got a little
bit maybe on the government's spending side.

Speaker 5 (17:43):
And as far as spending.

Speaker 22 (17:45):
Yeah, you got ten percent doing fifty percent into spending.
The rest of folks aren't necessarily spending that much. If
they are, is by now pay letter kind of stuff.

Speaker 21 (17:51):
Well, this is the issue, is that so much of
what mechanically impacts our data like CPA CPI isn't the
reality of most Americans' economies.

Speaker 20 (17:59):
So, yeah, most Americans right now.

Speaker 21 (18:01):
Are actually seeing deterioring economic environment because guess what, prices
are twenty five percent higher than they were five years ago.
But the top ten percent of Americans are fifty percent
of all of the spending in the economy. So there's
a very big difference between how I forecast growth, which
is heavily leveraged to that high income household, and what's
actually happening to the America.

Speaker 22 (18:20):
It doesn't that put the FED in the awkward position
because you can't you can't have restrictive policy because there's
rich as ten percent or actually getting richer every time
they get paid from their money market account and punished
the resident population.

Speaker 20 (18:33):
That's a huge point.

Speaker 21 (18:34):
And the other issue the FED is facing is not
just that inequality issue, but they are hamstrung by this
technical data which is being all over the place rocketed
by mechanical factors on CPI and labor. The labor market
is going to stay on paper extraordinarily tight. Why America
does not need jobs. America needs workers.

Speaker 5 (18:52):
Uh huh okay. So if we read between the lines
and all that stuff, and has lots of stuff to
read between the lines of base, the FED doesn't know
what to do, which is why they haven't done anything.
I guess five twenty six, it's time to take another
look at your money as we check in again with
Jeff Bellinger.

Speaker 23 (19:11):
Good morning, and good morning to you, Jimmy. Stocks were
higher at the start of the midweek session after the
government released better than expected news on inflation, but the
early gains evaporated and the major averages ended lower. President
Trump has dialed up investors tariff tensions again. The President
says he intends to set unilateral teriff rates within two weeks.

(19:32):
Stock market futures all pointing lower this morning, and Boeing
shares are down more than seven percent in pre market
trading afterword that it was a Boeing seven eighty seven
that has crashed in India. We point out, though there
is no indication that aircraft was in any way responsible
for the crash. I'm Jeff Bellinger, Bloomberg Business on News

Well, look, I have no hard feelings. I was really surprised.

Speaker 7 (22:14):
President Trump with the New York Post Miranda Divine saying
he's not really thinking about reconciling with Elon Musk yet. Meantime,
the Senate continues to work on the President's budget proposal.

of a flash flood warning in northwestern Chambers County, northwestern

Texas lawmakers lowered property taxes during this past legislative session.
Florida is trying to get rid of them completely. Can
Texas do the same?

Speaker 31 (25:12):
The biggest of those obstacles continues to be the out
of control local spending.

Speaker 18 (25:16):
We seem to be caught in this cycle where the
Texas legislature lowers taxes, only for local governments to raise
taxes during the interim.

Speaker 31 (25:25):
James Quintero with the Texas Public Policy Foundation says the
states need to crack down on these local jurisdictions.

Speaker 18 (25:30):
One of the ways that we can go about doing
that is by instituting a local expenditure limit that contains
the growth of government at the local level.

Governor Rabbit says he has not yet decided whether or
not to vito the new statewide ban on THCHC, which
of course was pushed by Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick. Political
consultant Bill Miller says, many disagree with Patrick on this.

Speaker 32 (26:00):
I don't think that he helps himself on this issue.
I know he has his reasons for deleting what he believes,
but I do think he probably underestimated how deeply this
cuts into a lot of people who otherwise support him
on a lot of issues.

Speaker 7 (26:13):
The governor has until June twenty second to decide on
a v two. Christian Walker hit a home run drove
in for the Astros blowout the White Sox ten to two,
and for the fifth straight year, Jimmy Congressional Republicans blowout,

final was thirteen to two. They raised nearly three million

Oh well, I don't think this will surprise anybody. Thirty
is a time here in Houston's morning news. They did
a company who, by the way, owns cure egg. So
you think they had a dog in the hunt on
this one. Yeah. A doctor Pepper and a bunch of
other brands just released his first ever State of Beverages
report and found that the most important drink of all

(27:18):
the thing you can't live without is coffee. Now this
is not to be confused with your favorite beverage. The
favorite beverage went to soda some form of soda. But
the one that you can't live without is your coffee,
your morning coffee. That's the most important drink. According to
the survey, sixty two percent said that coffee was how

(27:42):
they had to start to day they couldn't start the
day without a cup of coffee. Sixty nine percent agreed
with drinking coffee every morning is my happy place. And again,
it doesn't mean it's your favorite drink, It just means
it's the one you gotta have. Fifty three percent overall
enjoyed the taste of their favorite so to more than
anything else. So I guess we could kind of combine

(28:04):
this with the Beach Boys question. We have the question
of today is favorite Beach Boys song or memory of
the Beach Boys? Because the head of the Beach Boys,
Brian Wilson, died yesterday at the age of eighty two.
They had a lot of hits, so there's plenty to
choose from. So favorite Beach Boy song and if you
want to throw in there, the beverage you can't live
without not your favorite necessarily the one you can't live without.

(28:24):
We'll do our own little survey here. We'll combine those
two things together. Go to the iHeartRadio app KTRH. You
hit once you get to the I Heard Radio app KTRH,
hit the talkback button. You get up to thirty seconds.
First thing where you're calling from favorite Beach Boys song
and beverage. You can't live without. Right down five forty
time for traffic and whether it together to come around here,
Yes we can. We can do more than one thing

(28:46):
at once, and we're gonna have to all morning longsky Mike.

Speaker 6 (28:48):
If we could just drive in the rain, that's the
trick this morning. Okay, I've got a lot of ponting.
I'll get to that. Let's get to the big stuff. First,
East Sam southbound at Lake Houston Parkway.

Speaker 5 (28:58):
That's looking pretty normally here. They're just about to clear
it right length. Oh it is clear.

Speaker 6 (29:02):
Okay, great, great, great to ninety Hollister. That one was
looking off lenar Ley too. That was on the westbound side.
I've got just a little bit of a smudge stayed
the course. All that business will be gone. Biggest ponding now,
just assume that your freeway is soaking wet this morning
and slippery and super treacherous. Plus there'll be a lot
of dumb people on the road. You've got a lot

(29:23):
of ponding. Right around nineteen sixty new ninety East Sam
I ten and now to twenty five. I'm getting reports
of those feeders getting pretty nasty. Southwest Freeway.

Speaker 3 (29:32):
Hey, tay guy, Mike.

Speaker 34 (29:33):
This is Cindy from Morton. They're in water covering the
food northbound fifty nine, right at the.

Speaker 5 (29:42):
Right, right at the loop. I see that. Oh, let's
go to the Hardyte Road from Spring. It's the moon.

Speaker 18 (29:47):
Good morning sky, Mike on Hartytoe.

Speaker 35 (29:49):
Roll all the way to Belly eight.

Speaker 36 (29:52):
It's just bad.

Speaker 37 (29:53):
A lot of people are going flow on the left
lane while they have available raineage on the right to
make sure they don't go.

Speaker 14 (30:00):
I have a bold hire. Yes, bald people can be taked,
but bald tires can never be takety.

Speaker 6 (30:05):
Bald people can be sexy, but bald tires.

Speaker 5 (30:08):
Look at him, he's over there. He's the word still
live by. Sorry, Cliff.

Speaker 6 (30:11):
I'm in the USA RV Resorts dot Com tract. He's
sexy in the USA RV Resorts dot Com traffic center.

Speaker 5 (30:18):
Just okay, you could say that if you want. I
guess it's a free country. From mar ktr H Generator Supercenter,
twenty four hour Weather Center, Terry Smith is here. We
are getting huge amounts of rain today. Oh yeah. The
silliest thing I think we'll see today, somebody's gonna have
their sprinkler system on. I'm a drive past somebody's house.
It's gonna be born down rain where you get five
inches of rain and their sprinklers are gonna.

Speaker 19 (30:37):
Be going, ah, yes, I see those, see those two,
and it's like turn them off, Mother Natures.

Speaker 7 (30:47):
So we are dealing with uh if sky.

Speaker 19 (30:50):
Mike makes a very good point, and so does Ramon
about the bald tires. The roads are going to be
super soggy today. We've had some heavy rain already there
there's more on the way. I'm looking at some stronger thunderstorms,
heavier rains coming down around Bay City and that's making
its way in our direction. A one hundred percent chance

(31:10):
you'll get wet today, I can it's rare.

Speaker 7 (31:13):
I can say that.

Speaker 19 (31:14):
I'm going to bet that everybody who's listening to us
is going to be wet.

Speaker 7 (31:18):
But not just wet.

Speaker 19 (31:19):
We're talking two to five inches of wet and a
floodwatch that covers the entire area. That means with some
of this rain, we're going to see some localized flooding develop.

Speaker 7 (31:27):
So if you're in an area.

Speaker 19 (31:30):
That's prone to flooding, or if you see flooding, find
somewhere else to travel. Just be safe today. Upper seventies
to low eighties. That's as warm as we get. We
have a little bit of sunshine and less rain tomorrow
through the weekend, but it's a sixty percent chance of
more thunderstorms tomorrow, a fifty percent chance of those showers
and storms Saturday, Sunday and Monday as well.

Speaker 5 (31:52):
Temperture right now seventy one at your official severe weather station,
News Radio seven forty KTRH. The Beach Boys dying yesterday
at the age of eighty two. So the question of
the day has to do with favorite Beach Boys song
or Beach Boys memory or a combination there of. If
you want to throw in the beverage you cant lit without,
feel free to do that too.

Speaker 7 (32:11):
Jimmy best Beach Boys song Sloop John B.

Speaker 35 (32:18):
I remember seeing the Beach Boys in concert at feed

Speaker 37 (32:24):
Have a good day, guys, Yeah, Skott, Mike knows my
brothers and I we played forty one years for a
wedding band for Polish weddings and stuff. But the first
thing did my oldest brother learn when he was in
fifth grade was wipe out and that was mandatory and
then we went on from there with the Beach Boys,
the Eagles, Willie Nelson, et cetera, et cetera. But yeah,

(32:49):
the Beach Boys were a big inspiration, especially with.

Speaker 5 (32:53):
Oh he ran out of time. Okay, wipeout though hang
on who did wipe out Whitebout was not done by
the Beach Boys. I have to look that buff's I
should know the answer that question. Skuy Mike probably knows
five fifty time for traffick in weather together. Safari Safari
didn't even wipeout, but they did sound a lot like

(33:15):
there were a lot of Jen and Deeine, a lot
of people that sounded like the Beach Boys.

Speaker 6 (33:18):
Got engineering is gonna kill me. Let's go to the
hard work. And East I put your hard hats on.
We got it in East got some ponding hippening in
the feeder roads right around the beltway. Also that East
Sam I would stay on the main lanes for sure,
another reason to stay out of the left line. I
think that left line pawns more than any other part
of the freeways just about all over town. We cleared

(33:38):
the wreck off the East Sam southbound at North Lake
Houston Parkway. That's out of the way. We're not going
to be full speed anywhere this morning. Turn your snooze off.
Watch out for dumb people in the left line two
ninety clear hollister, that's out of the way. And let
me see what they're showing me here on the trend
Star quad that is two ninety two nineties. It's a

Yeah, it's pretty easy to protict rights. No rioting in
San Antonio yesterday. I'm pleased to report, of course, the
governor calling out the National Guard right right thing to do.
In Los Angeles, the violence continues in Los Angeles because well,
you've got a lot of well funded people there. You know,
that's a big headquarters for funding anarchists and rioters. Senator

(35:46):
Josh Hawley yesterday on Fox being asked about who's funding
these people, where are they getting their money?

Speaker 8 (35:51):
These aren't spontaneous at all. They're about as authentic as
astro turf. They are bought and paid for flash mobs,
and I want to know who's doing they in the paying.
That's why today I've launched an investigation. I've sent multiple
investigative demands today to various groups out on social media
claiming they are paying for this, they are organizing it,

(36:11):
they are financing it. We've all seen the videos of
vans driving up handing out gas masks right before somebody
blows up a car.

Speaker 5 (36:18):
It's time we found.

Speaker 8 (36:19):
Out where's the money coming from, who's really behind this.
I think the American people deserve answers.

Speaker 38 (36:24):
When they're saying, don't believe what you see on TV
and there's no violence at all. Doesn't that kind of
remind you of the Biden cover.

Speaker 8 (36:32):
Up, oh one hundred percent, it's the same thing, don't
believe you're lying eyes.

Speaker 5 (36:36):
Meanwhile, they're out there.

Speaker 8 (36:37):
Blowing up cars on the one oh one, they're assaulting cops,
they're rushing federal buildings, they're burning down shops. It's all
on television and we can see it with our own eyes.
I'm just glad Trump isn't letting the city burn. I mean,
Gavin Newsom would allow his state to burn for the
second time in the year. And the worst part is
somebody is paying for all of this, and they're trying

(36:57):
to spread it, Jesse, just like you reported, they're trying
to spread it across the country, to Chicago, to Saint Louis,
to Seattle, New York, everywhere. We got to figure out.

Speaker 3 (37:05):
Who is behind this.

Speaker 8 (37:07):
And by the way, why is the Democrat Party now
basically an extended mental ward? I mean, what has happened
to these people? They're nuts?

Speaker 2 (37:16):
You know.

Speaker 38 (37:16):
You notice that CNN never even interviews anybody at the riot.

Speaker 7 (37:20):
We have clips of them and you can see why.

Speaker 38 (37:22):
Shenon doesn't want to talk to them because they look insane.
Your colleagues in the Senate, do they support these people?
Do they think this is good politically for the Democrat Party?

Speaker 8 (37:33):
Well, that's what they're acting like. I mean, they're out
there saying all peaceful protests. It's all peaceful. And by
the way, this is Donald Trump's fault. I'm like, really,
Donald Trump's fault. Gee, I missed it when Donald Trump
went and blew up a car on Highway one oh one.
I didn't see him when he was assaulting cops. What
I saw was a bunch of lunatics who were waiving
the Mexican flag and other flags while they burned our own.
And by the way, Jesse, we ought to penalize people

(37:56):
who burned the American flag while they're committing a crime.
If you do that, to have your prison sentence doubled.
It's time to get serious with these people.

Speaker 20 (38:03):
It's a law and.

Speaker 8 (38:04):
Order time in America. No more of this nonsense.

Speaker 5 (38:07):
Okay, he's talking tough, yet he's talking about punishment for
burning the America flag. If you're committing another crime, which
those people generally speaking are doing, double your prison time
for adding the flag charge. Can you do that constitutionally?

response to Saturday's anti ice protests scheduled for Euston.

Speaker 9 (40:57):
As a concerns to exact tactics and things like that,
we don't disclose those publicly.

Speaker 7 (41:02):
You will see them arise in response to what we
see on the ground. Governor Greg Abbott will deploy resources
across the state. Harris County Judge Lena Hidalgo and Uston
Mayor John Whitmeyer turned down the offer from Congressman Wesley
Hunt for federal help. Hidalgo, by the way, is in
Paris through the fifteenth, so when these protests take place,

(41:23):
she won't be here. There are concerned about how these
protests will impact peaceful, law abiding civilians, especially gun owners.
Kirk Watson with the US Gun Shields says Texas gun
owners need to think twice before using deadly force.

Speaker 39 (41:37):
Basic lawn Texas is that you cannot use deadly force
to prevent minor property crimes.

But if you are in fear of death or serious

Speaker 7 (42:05):
White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt that said something Trump
should just let those liberal cities burn.

Speaker 10 (42:11):
I think he can make that argument on some level,
but also think if he were to just let them burn,
you know, quote unquote let the burn, that puts law enforcement,
federal LA enforcement, like I agents in danger, and we
can't do that. And then two, I think it would
make him look.

There at least half a dozen no Kings protests are

Houston mayor and niece Parker officially announces a run for
Harris County Judge, setting up a potential local Democrat civil war,
that is, if Lena Hidalgo runs for a third term.

Speaker 31 (42:44):
If a Dogo does seek a third term, Parker will
likely prove to be a tough opponent.

Speaker 11 (42:47):
But at these Parker, you have someone who's likely to
run much stronger, organized, effective campaign and can rely upon
her history at government service.

Speaker 31 (42:56):
Jared Woodfield with the Conservative Republicans of Texas warned that
Parker is still her off a radical leftist.

Speaker 11 (43:01):
We have an a nice Parker, someone who has a liberal,
progressive agenda to reshape and not only Houston Harris County,
but the entire country.

He says Parker's left wing record will help her in
the primaries, but could hurt her chances in the general election.

A lot of the college programs today that are not

That doesn't.

But that's a four year degree that maybe cost somebody

talk about this because I played a little cut here
from Senator Josh Hawley towards the end of our last hour,
and he says he wants to know who's funding the

(46:28):
rioting and the protesting, who's behind it, where's the money
coming from, where the gas masks coming from, where the
other equipment coming from. Who's providing them with all the
Mexican flags, even though probably none of these people are Mexican.
I'm going to guess that Senator Hawley already knows the
answer to that question. I think there are plenty of people

(46:49):
in Congress who know the answer to that question. The
question is what are they going to do about it?
Here is Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna, who said she
knows exactly who's funding this stuff.

Speaker 40 (47:01):
So it's actually being funded by a billionaire by the
name of Neville Singham. He's actually funding a group called
the Party for Socialism and Liberation, which if you look online,
they are a communist organization.

Speaker 20 (47:12):
What they're doing is they are using.

Hispanic Americans the way that BLM used Black Americans during
these whites and frankly the way that Code Pink, which
is also funded by the CCP, is using Palestinians. So
what they're trying to do is they're using this to
usher in Marxism. But it's important to note that actually
when you find and you follow the money trail, mister
Singham is actually largely funded by the Communist Chinese Party.
So House Oversight has issued and we'll be sending a

(47:35):
letter this Friday with all my members of Oversight calling
Minister Singham to testify before Congress. If he does not appear,
it does not provide documents. Who will then be held
a contempt of Congress and he will be prosecuted by
the Department of Justice. We are not playing This is
a different administration. We have the Department of Justice, and
if you interfere with American politics and are a foreign agent,
you will be held accountable. I can tell you that
there is significant financial money trails.

Speaker 20 (47:57):
All you have to do is follow the money.

Speaker 40 (47:59):
Remember also seeing him is actually financing.

Speaker 20 (48:01):
The LA Rights. But there's also other groups coming in
but they have.

Speaker 40 (48:04):
Different ideological perspectives, some backed by source that are globalists,
and then obviously the Marxist organizations. But remember this is
a color revolution, right, they're using these immigrants as a
guys for their real objective and goal here, and frankly,
it's nothing different than what happened in the Summer of
Love during the BLM rights right before the election. They're
doing the same thing before the midterms, and Democrats are

(48:26):
trying to get the Hispanic votes, so that's why they're
using Mexican flags.

Speaker 5 (48:29):
Well that's pretty specific, don't you think. The Party for
Socialism and Liberation communist political party here in the United
States formed in two thousand and four when its members
split from the Workers World Party. It is funded by
that billionaire she mentioned. They do not release membership numbers,
but they believe that the only way to end capitalism

(48:51):
and establish socialism is through revolution. So that's part of
what they're trying to do. Six' Ten time for traffic
and whether together think we already knew that the kind
of other stuff comes from. Communism, they of, course what
we don't necessarily know are the names behind. It and
that's WHERE i think we're taking a closer look now
Skymake oh, wait.

Speaker 6 (49:08):

flooding to more notable. Flooding and there is a flash
flood warning that's been issued for Northwestern Chambers, county Northeastern Harris,
county in Southwestern Liberty county where they've already picked up

(51:11):
about two to four inches of rain so far and
more on the, Way so some flooding in the creeks
and the, streams and you're going to see it on
the roads as, well and those underpasses too could be especially.

Speaker 7 (51:23):
Tricky that's going to be our main problem. Today the.

Speaker 19 (51:25):
Rain it's with us off and on much of the,
day heavy at. TIMES i, mean by the time this
winds down later, today many places we'll see between two
to five inches of. Rain and that's an awful lot
of rain in a short period of. Time so flooding
is the main thing we'll need to be alert for.

temperatures upper seventies to low. Eighties that rain eases up,

she bring to the table if she were to be
Elected Harris County. Judge, well let's ask. Her first of, All,
anie welcome to the. Program nice to meet. You thank.

Speaker 41 (54:27):
You it's nice to meet you as.

Speaker 5 (54:28):
Well first of, all let's start with the. Decision we
haven't heard anything From Lena hildago yet about whether she
intends to run or not to. Run i'm wondering if
maybe you think she doesn't intend to, run and that's
one of the reasons why you're.

Speaker 41 (54:42):
RUNNING i have no idea whether she's going to run or.

Speaker 14 (54:48):
NOT i made my own.

Speaker 35 (54:50):
DECISIONS i, mean obviously as, CANDIDATE i hope that she.
Doesn't BUT i think that's one of the you, know
one of the. Issues there ought to be, certainty and
if you want the, job you ought to stand up
and say you want the, job say it publicly and,
privately and stand in your.

Speaker 5 (55:08):
Record, well it's a stressful. Job at least it's very
stressful to her over the course of the last few.
Years maybe maybe that'll have something to do with their.
Decision you've been to the world of, Politics you've been
out for a. While get why jump back? In are?
You are you looking for?

Speaker 35 (55:22):
Trouble you, know three months of retirement that probably allowed
me to consider, Mischief but, NO i actually.

Speaker 41 (55:33):
CONTEMPLATED i left THE i left my office's mayor at
the end of twenty fifteen and.

Speaker 35 (55:40):
Went to working in nonprofit. Sector AND i intended to
run for county judge in twenty.

Speaker 41 (55:46):
Eighteen adam it.

Speaker 35 (55:47):
Was not going to run for re election and had
already started putting a campaign, together And ed changed his.
Mind he announced that he was going to run.

Speaker 5 (55:57):
Again AND, i.

Speaker 41 (56:00):
You, Know ed AND i have a working. RELATIONSHIP i
don't know if you.

Speaker 35 (56:02):
Know we actually teach a class together At rice AND i,
said how did you do in a fine?

Speaker 9 (56:08):
JOB i will.

Speaker 41 (56:09):
Wait and that is the year That lena he took him.

Speaker 5 (56:12):
Out, well as you, know there is And i'm just gonna,
say as you.

Speaker 41 (56:16):
Know THERE'S i went off AND i continue to do.

Speaker 5 (56:18):
This, yeah big difference between the Way Ed emmett Ran
Harris county and the Way Lena hildago is sort of
kind of trying to Run Harris. County one of the great,
criticisms of, course is that she spends a lot of
time on social programs and doesn't seem to really spend
that much time preparing for things like. HURRICANES i guess
the first QUESTION i would really have if you were
Elected Harris county judge in, hees how would you be

(56:40):
different Than Lena.

Speaker 35 (56:41):
Hildago SO i understand the job Of Harris county. Judge
it is not the same as a job of. Mayor
and one of the primary differences is as, mayor you
can make, law pass, ordinances but county government.

Speaker 41 (57:03):
Is the creature of the state and you enforce state.

Speaker 35 (57:06):
Laws but the primary responsibilities public, safety public, health floodwater,
management roads and, bridges and then there's some other smaller
aspects of county, government and for the county judge is
the biggest thing is emergency. Management if you look at
my first priority in my first term as mayor Of,
houston it was.

Speaker 41 (57:26):
Infrastructure the.

Speaker 35 (57:29):
Drainage the litigation that just, completed uh that was my
drainage fee THAT i THAT i passed BECAUSE i thought
we needed to put more money into.

Speaker 41 (57:41):
Floodwater management here In Harris.

Speaker 35 (57:43):
COUNTY i agreed with the engineers who sued The city
Of houston it was being it was being. DIVERTED i
also launched the major initiative to overhaul the water and
sewer lines in The city Of. Houston still needs to be.

Speaker 41 (58:01):
Done so infrastructure was my highest priority WHEN i came.
In BUT i also came in in.

Speaker 35 (58:08):
The middle of The Great recession in two thousand and
eight two thousand and, nine so most of WHAT i
did in my first term as mayor was slash, budgets
laid off more than seven hundred city. Employees SO i
know how to make tough decisions AND i know what
the priorities. ARE i know you guys on the right

(58:31):
life to talk about the Hero.

Speaker 5 (58:34):
We're a little. Conservative we're a little, conservative but we
do like hearing a message about. It, yeah we do
like hearing a. Message we do like hearing a message
about infrastructure in public safety because that's what we also
believe is the job of the, judge and we don't
believe that job is being done by our current. Judge
so we would like to see a judge in there
who would do the. Job we've also been very, supportive

(58:56):
by the, way just you, know a Mayor John whipmyer
because he's A democratic seems understand.

Speaker 41 (59:00):
That you, know we have we worked on the same
we have worked on the same.

Speaker 35 (59:08):
Issues, NOW i did disagree with With john in his
effort at the state to pull money out of the
toll roads.

Speaker 41 (59:17):
To shift over to the city Of.

Speaker 35 (59:20):
HOUSTON i don't think toll road money should be spent
on anything but, roads frankly and management of the toll.

Speaker 41 (59:29):
Roads but GENERALLY i Think john's doing a good.

Speaker 5 (59:33):
Job, well, LISTEN i want to thank you for your
time this. Morning we appreciate you calling in and hope
to talk again here pretty. Soon thank. You Niece Sure

Speaker 4 (01:32:04):
Katie your best ways are Round. Houston next on the
ten on Se, Ktright, WELL i think The Lieutenant governor
thinks it's more than just maybe being a little. Lazy
he thinks it's it turns you into a, murderous, rampaging crazy,
individual which is a little over the top if you ask,

(01:32:26):
me And i'm a. Conservative Mill miller joins this political.
Consultant do you think The lieutenant governor is the least
bit surprised that the BACKLASH us received on this so?
Far on THE thc, band.

Speaker 32 (01:32:38):
Well if he's not, surprised Then i'm surprised that he's not.
Surprised let's say that it's pretty pretty darn wise spread
and pretty darn. Overwhelming AND i can say from my own,
EXPERIENCE i run into it in more places for more,
people and maybe any other issue THAT i can recall. Memory,

(01:32:59):
wow it's it's just. Pervasive it's it's something that it's
a big time. Issue AND i think at Least Governor
abbot by not saying, anything is saying a lot in his,
silence AND i think that's kind of where we. Are
And patrick's been very quiet about it since his famous press.

Speaker 5 (01:33:21):
Conference so we'll see what we. See you, know when
you have veterans groups that are coming out to oppose,
something and that they were among the first to come
out and oppose THIS thhc, band you know that that
that has a definitely has a snowball down a hill
effect for the rest of the. Cistens we are very
pro military here In, texas and when you have veterans

(01:33:42):
who are suffering FROM ptsd telling you how this stuff
has helped save their, lives it's a compelling.

Speaker 32 (01:33:47):
Story so it's a it's more than, compelling it's it's
as persuasive an argument as can be made about any.
Issue there's something that is saving your lot and allowing
you to live as a human. Being what more can
be said about? IT i mean that as reinforcing as

(01:34:08):
you can possibly, imagine AND i think it's also as
probably as persuice toward What abbot is prepared to do
between now And july twenty second as you.

Speaker 5 (01:34:19):
Can possibly have out.

Speaker 32 (01:34:21):
There and he has to consider that in all its.

Speaker 5 (01:34:24):
Seriousness, yeah what do you Think Governor abbott ends up
doing on? This do you think he signs? It do
you think he vetoes? It what do you think he? Does,
well he's got three.

Speaker 32 (01:34:33):
Choices of, course he can sign, it he can veto,
it or he can do nothing and it becomes law
and he has to do this one of the three
By june twenty, second next week For. Sunday my prediction
today is one he's been, quiet which and he says he's, studying,
okay judicial temperament and. All BUT i predict that he

(01:34:56):
will veto the, bill AND i think he'll be told
for a couple of. Reasons one is the arguments that
are made about how it helps. Military, two it's a
big time. Industry whether you say that or. Not don't
believe that it's an eight billion dollar, industry and that's
a big deal In. Texas The Texas miracle is based
on being recepted to businesses and growing their businesses. Here

(01:35:18):
SO i think they're compelling arguments for him to be,
killed AND i think that's what he'll. Do but believe,
me that's just my. Opinion and you can hear anything
you want out. There in anyone's opinion counts right, now
it certainly.

Speaker 5 (01:35:30):

former Candidate For Harris, County judge Republican Candidate alexander mieler
joins us this morning on news radio SEVEN. Forty ktrh
we Had, niece parker who's going to Run Against. Lena
Hildago If lena hildago is going, to run if you
heard anything. About that by, the way as far as

(01:51:07):
whether Or not lina is actually considering not running this, Time.

Speaker 46 (01:51:09):
Out, Good, Morning jimmy thanks for having, me ON and
i think that is a.

Speaker 3 (01:51:15):
Huge question so everyday.

Speaker 46 (01:51:17):
DIFFERENT rumor i, just think With the democrats in, their
primary get your popcorn ready because we're going to have
probably another crowded field hearing about Candidates From Texas Ledge
city council all. Getting in Just like republicans see weakness with,
the Seat the democrat to do.

Speaker 5 (01:51:36):
As, WELL yeah i would think at the very least if,
she's not if she is considering, a run then Obviously
the Democrats In harris county are thinking about a change
because they see that seat as. Being bultable you damn near,
beat Her and i'm not so sure you didn't beat
her in the. LAST election.

Speaker 46 (01:51:54):
I feel very similarly, about it and, you know having
a lot of time, to reflect certainly think it's crucial
to Get a republican in. The Seat marinice parker is a.
Hyper progressive you know clearly is going to move to
the left during.

Speaker 41 (01:52:11):
The primary but.

Speaker 46 (01:52:12):
You know when speaking with donors, and independents you know
we'll be highlighting, public safety and that's what the interesting
thing is going to be during. This Race every democrat
is going To say i'm for, public safety but that's
not what YOU and i. Think of we say, public
safety we mean more. Law enforcement, you know quicker investigation's fast,
response time let's get dangerous criminals buy. In Jail when democrats,

(01:52:33):
say it it's everything but more. Law enforcement so it'll
be interesting to see how, they position because they can
read a pull.

Speaker 5 (01:52:40):
Just like we can surely can now. About you are
you going to make A run are you going to
run on the next election As a Republican For Harris?

Speaker 46 (01:52:47):
CUNTY judge i, am, not like as, you said very
uncertain to Doubtful that lena will be in, the RACE
but i will be very active in Supporting the republican,
judicial candidates active supporting them twenty four and just Spoke
to mac recently and he's very fired up to go
After these democrat judges and hold them accountable for their. Failed,

(01:53:09):
Record okay so want to, be supportive and it certainly
is critical That a republican runs, that seat and so
excited that there'll be a slready, several CANDIDATES and i
think it will even probably.

Speaker 5 (01:53:20):
Get bigger, Of course dammittt did it for years and
did it, very successfully so much So, that Democrats most
democrats seemingly supported him most of the time when it
came to that, particular position do we do we Have
a republican who can, do that who can bring, everybody together.

Speaker 18 (01:53:35):
YOU know.

Speaker 46 (01:53:36):
I hope so that's one of the challenges with, you
know crowded primaries is you don't get very much time
to get everybody. BACK together i think going through the
runoff was one of the biggest challenges, for me and
So for, REPUBLICANS running i hope they stay focused on
how Terrible the democrat. Alternatives are because In The east
parker will have a big advantage of great relationship with

(01:53:58):
Former county Judge, at emmett great Relationship With, mayor whitmeyer
and she's not going to have, a media, you know
kind of holding her accountable for her very. Progressive STANCES
so i think it's even more of an Urgency for
republicans to really focus on who that, enemy is get a,
