The officer and the bad guy are both in stable condition.
This guarded as a call about a suspicious person with
a gun with violent crime a major problem in Harris County.
Judge Lena Hidalgo still has it announced whether or not
she'll run for a third term as county judge. But

all of a sudden, she's gotten a massive six six
hundred thousand dollars spike in her campaign fund.

The spike in funds is driven primarily by refunded fees
for legal services.

He does draw a.

Lot of questions, should there be a cap on that.
If not a cap, then should it be refunded to

All right, well, this this is a different kind of venus.

I have chronic venous insufficiency and have had it for
a number of years. What it is is it's a
swelling in my case of my ankles. My ankles swell,
not a ton, but enough where you know, it can
get a little bit uncomfortable. You could also get if

you have a severication, get leg pain. You can get
a little heaviness or cramping, swelling of the legs and ankles,
little skin discoloration, itching or tingling, vericose veins. I think
I got this from my mom had vericos veins. So
I'm pretty sure that this is where I inherited my
great leg veins from. It is something that in most

(08:49):
cases is not treated with medication. If you have a
severe case, they can do an ablazion procedure, which basically
is kind of shutting down your old veins and up
new veins. It's the problem I get is is there's
a valve, one way valve in your legs that causes
the blood to flow back to your heart, and these

(09:10):
valves don't do their job the way they're supposed to do,
so the heart has a harder time getting the blood
flow flow back from the veins, and then the blood
will pool in your legs and in particular your ankles,
and that's what causes the swelling. Here's what you're supposed
to do in order to treat it yourself, mister president.

Maintain a healthy weight, Okay, I don't novar KFC right.
Get regular exercise, Avoid prolonged sitting or standing. By the way,
you wonder why I have this. Maintain a healthy weight,

But one or the other in one place. Elevate your
legs when resting where comfortable, loose fit clothes, and consider
wearing compression socks. That's the toughest one because nothing says
geezer like wearing compression socks. You ever see old people
who are out like walking and they've got compression socks

on with shorts. Not a great look. But I do
wear them in the evening hours and it does help
a lot as far as moving the blood around and
taking down the swelling. Five ten time for traffic and

associated with it, and we're seeing those showers and thunderstorms
along the Louisiana coast into parts of southeast Texas. But
so far things around us have been fairly quiet this morning. Now,
I do expect that we'll get some rain though from
the influx of moisture and the afternoon heating. A fifty

the day today, and we may get some brief heavy
downpours to go along with it. Upper eighties to low
nineties for highest today. There's a thirty percent chance of
rain tomorrow, and then Sunday and Monday and Tuesday, we're

feel that this particular day of action was going to
be impactful for the cause that they seek to espouse,
