Speaker 6 (01:40):
Both alleged crimes relate to Comy's September twenty twenty testimony
to Senate Judiciary Committee, President Trump hosting in part quote

Speaker 6 (02:15):
Call me will be arraigned October ninth in Alexandria, Virginia.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
That's Fox's Chanly Painter reporting we are less than a
week away from a major government funding deadline, and the
left seems like Senate Democrats are going out of their
way to shut down the government just despite the presidents.
Speaker 9 (02:32):
Democrats are hell bent on denying President Trump and Republicans
in Congress any kind of a victory, and that includes
keeping the government up and running.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
That's political strategist Vlad David, who also says the Democrat
demand for one trillion dollars in health care for illegal
aliens isn't something that most Americans will get behind when
the shutdown happens. President Trump announcing new tariffs on multiple
products that will take effect October one one. Trump said
on True Social yesterday that one hundred percent tariffs on

pharmaceuticals will take effect unless drug makers are building US factories.
He went on to separately announce the administration will impose
a fifty percent tariff on all kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities,
and associated products, as well as a thirty percent tariff
on unupholstered furniture. Well, it might be time to wake
out because the American dream is now out of reach
(03:27):
for most Americans.
Speaker 10 (03:28):
A new survey finds fifty six percent are not confident
they could buy a home if they wanted to. Mary
Anastasia O'Grady with The Wall Street Journal tells Fox high
home prices and interest rates are only part of the problem.
Speaker 11 (03:39):
They're also very high property taxes. That's also a local
problem for their high insurance costs, So affording a home
is not just paying the mortgage, but paying all those
other additional costs that are charged by the local government.
Speaker 10 (03:52):

a national housing emergency, although he didn't say what that

He hoped his actions would terrorize ice and interfere with
their work, which he called human trafficking.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
The gunman ended up killing one detainee and injuring two
others before he turned the gun on himself. A new
survey shows that Americans are more concerned than excited about
the increased use of AI. It's especially true when it
came to building meaningful relationships.
Speaker 13 (04:34):
If they have the help of AI, they found like
the most interesting person in the world, and then somebody
meets them and they're not at all their AI personality
because it wasn't them.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
Texas matchmaker Jen Steyer says the ease of AI is
making people less creative, and when when you're talking to
a computer, it's impossible to pick up on social cues.
The survey done by Pew Research found that most Americans
do not support AI play a role in personal matters.
According to a survey from Bank Rates, nearly three out
(05:06):
of every five Americans say that they're behind what they
need to be with their retirement savings. The good news
is it's never too link to take action.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
One answer to the problem might be to seek other
employment that pays more generously, or even to pursue a
career that has better opportunity. For some, that might mean
moving literally from one poem to another.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Economist analyst Mark Hamrick there He says, no matter what
age or how far behind in savings you are. It's
better to contribute what you can towards retirement savings than
contribute nothing at all. Ktr RAH news time is five

killing that he and the child's mother claim was part
of an exorcism. Tony Earls Junior gets twenty years in

getaway vehicle. An emotional Earls took the stand during the
sentencing phase of the trial yesterday.

One time, when I was really really young, I think
I was I was probably like seven or eight years old,
my mom, who was really really super smart. She was
like the salutorian of her high school class, although I
suspect there was only like twenty five students.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
Sorry, Mom, I shouldn't say that.
Speaker 5 (07:30):
I had a question once about where the dictionary was,
and I asked her where was the Funk and Wagnall's dictionary?
Except it didn't come out as funk. I forgot the end.
She's what what? That's when you get the full name treatment,
(07:51):
you know, first, middle, end, last name all together in
one sentence. That's how you as a kid, you always
knew you were in trouble. Evidently we didn't have a
Merriam Webster dictionary. The house too bad, because I could
have saved myself a lot of trouble by mispronouncing it.
But Merriam Webster's added five thousand terms to its Collegian Dictionary,
so five thousand. This is a major update for the
(08:13):
twelfth edition of their Collegian Dictionary. They're adding more than
five thousand terms, including beast mode, which Meriam Webster defines
as quote in extremely aggressive or energetic style or manner
that someone adopts temporarily to overpower an opponent in a
fight or competition. Dad bod now exists in the dictionary,
(08:33):
a physique regarded as typical of an average father, especially
one that is slightly overweighted, not extremely voscular. Dumb phone
a cell phone that does not include advanced software features
such as email or an Internet browser, typically found on
smartphones yep. Obviously the opposite of smartphone. Farm to table
(08:54):
was not there before. Involving or advocating the direct sale
and distribution of food from its point of origin to customers,
hard Pass made the list. You know when you're saying no,
I mean, you're really saying no firm refusal or rejection
of something. Love language made the list RIZ, which stands
(09:15):
for romantic You know, it's like romantic appeal or charm RIZ.
You got RIZ side. I was not in there before,
Tera Flock was not in there before, and the list
goes on from there and ninety more. But you know what,
we don't have time for all of them. Five to ten,
time for traffic and whether together. We've got Joe Barnett
(09:36):
filling in for sky Mike today, who's not feeling too well.
Speaker 15 (09:40):
Yeah, he's he's heeling this morning. Good morning to you, Jimmy.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
Terry Smith's here.
Speaker 5 (10:06):
We've got dueling systems in the Atlantic, and one of
them's looking more and more like a threat to the
East Coast.
Speaker 16 (10:11):
Yeah, this one's going to be very interesting to watch,
just from the standpoint that it's interacting with a number
of land areas could affect the United States, and right
now is nothing more than just a tropical wave. But
this area of low pressure that we've been watching for
the last several days is expected to become a tropical
(10:33):
depression or even a tropical storm sometime today over the weekend,
So there's this proud range of time. But it will
likely make its way northward across the Bahamas and have
some impact along the East Coast. There's a number of
scenarios right now, so there's, you know, no certainty exactly
(10:55):
to what it will do, but it does look like
it will be a big rain maker for parts of
the southeast. At least it has the potential to be
a very significant rain maker. And we don't need another
big flooding situation. It was just a year ago we
had Hurricane Helen make its way into North Florida and
across Georgia in to the Carolinas and did that massive
(11:18):
damage with the massive flooding we heard about last year
round here.
Speaker 17 (11:22):
It is so quiet.
Speaker 16 (11:24):
What we have today is what we've got into early
next week. Not a drop of rain in sight, just sunshine.
Temperatures are quite pleasant, especially in the morning with the
low humidity, but the afternoons it feels like it's September.
Upper eight east to low nineties through the weekend into
early next week.

Speaker 5 (12:06):
I saw an interesting interview yesterday with the newest governor
on the on the FED Board appointed by Trump, obviously
much more aggressive in his mind about what needs to
happen with interest rates. We'll share that with you coming
up next. First, though, traffic and weather together, jumping Joe's
in this morning for a nailing Skymike, Yes, sir.
Speaker 15 (12:27):

Thirty Hei, living friends with Your forecast is at the

Speaker 5 (13:57):
Do you think they have any idea with this singing?
Probably not? Five twenty three is that time here in
Houston's borning news?
Speaker 3 (14:03):
All right? Interest rates?
Speaker 5 (14:08):
It feels like a child's fight right now on the
FED Board of Governors, because you've got your FED head
who seems to want to be going in a different
direction than just about everybody else on the board. The
latest board member, latest federal governor, is a guy with
the name of Stephen Miron. He's calling for more rate
cuts at the FED. I saw him on Fox Business
(14:30):
yesterday talking about some of the things that FED needs
to be considering the next time they consider interest rates.
Speaker 18 (14:35):
So I think that there's a couple of things that
they're seeing that I'm not necessarily seeing, or I don't
think is necessarily likely to prevail on the data. First
of all, I think a lot of folks are more
concerned about tariff.
Speaker 3 (14:45):
Striving inflation than I am.
Speaker 18 (14:47):
And while I've always allowed that that was a possibility,
I have not yet seen evidence that there are tariff
driven increases in inflation. And given the experience we had
in twenty eighteen twenty nineteen, I think the burden of
proof is on the data, and the burden of proof
is on the folks expecting that rather than assuming that
there's going to be these material increases xante. I think
the other thing that I'm seeing that they're not seeing
(15:08):
are the really very significant changes in population growth.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
Right.
Speaker 18 (15:13):
We just experienced the largest population growth shock up and
down in my lifetime in the last few years, and
the speed and the size of the shock is huge,
and I think it's incumbent upon us as policymakers to
take it into account. As you know, the immigration policy
was very different twelve eighteen, you know, twelve twenty four,
thirty six months ago than it is now, and you
had millions of people, you know, basically entering the workforce
(15:36):
and entering and entering and entering the economy, entering consumption
as well, and we all know that population growth can
be a material driver of economic outcomes, and for many
years before the pandemic, there had been conversations about declining
birth rates in developed economies mean that the entire world
is converging to Japanese level of interest rates. I think
(15:59):
that those types of conversations and those types of forces
are still extremely relevant. It just happens to be that
we got distracted by some other stuff in the last
few years. But I do think their material consequences of
the huge swings in population growth as a result of
what were essentially open border policies last year to now
what in my view, are is very likely negative net migration.
Speaker 19 (16:17):
Do you feel a certainty that as short term rates
go down and as the FED cuts rates, that you
will see that impacting mortgage rates, because recently what we've
seen is the opposite, actually long term rates go up.
Speaker 3 (16:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 18 (16:32):
Well, I think that the long term rate response to
last week's cut has actually been relatively muted and reversed
somewhat in the last couple of days. But I would
expect mortgage rates to come down as the FED continues
cutting interest rates. You know, I think that you know,
the risk at hand is that you know, if I'm
right that population growth shocks due to changes in border
(16:53):
policy are major drivers of things that go into monetary policy.
And if I'm right that rents are going to become
that rent inflation is going to be coming down, and
if I'm right that tariffs are not going to have
a material increase on inflation, and to me, thus far,
there's little evidence that that's the case. If I'm right
about those things, then it's really important for monetary policy
to exit the quite restrictive stance that it's in, because
(17:15):
the longer it stays in that stance, the greater the
risks to the economy that you do get a material
downturn in the labor market that you don't need to experience.
Speaker 5 (17:22):
By the way, he went on to say that he
thinks that the FED rate should come down next time
around by fifty bases points, double what it did this
last month five twenty six. Just continued to talk about
your money didn't expel grinny. Good morning, good morning.
Speaker 20 (17:36):
You know we had Mary Daily, president of the San
Francisco FED, say she thinks rich should come down as well.
She commented yesterday. Investors though they're not sure. Stocks are
mixed after President Trump announced those new tariffs on pharmaceuticals,
heavy Chuck's kitchen cabinets, bathroom, vanity's, and upholstered furniture. You've
been talking about Dow futures up sixty five, SMP future
(17:57):
is pretty much flat. Nezdak futures down twenty seven, and
you might be getting some money back from Amazon Prime.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
Good Morning, five thirty one on News Radio seven forty
ktrh our top story this hour. Investigators releasing new details
about Wednesday's deadly shooting at the ICE facility in Dallas.
Acting US Attorney Nancy Larson spoke about letters found by
the shooter.
Speaker 22 (20:00):
First, I want to point out that one of these
notes for papers the cniper explicitly states, yes, it was
just me.
Speaker 3 (20:10):
Those letters also said he wanted to give federal agents
real terror and that he had a game plan for
the attack. Republicans call it a direct link to the
divisive rhetoric spread by left wing activists.
Speaker 4 (20:23):
It's absolutely disgusting, it's dangerous, and now it's starting to
get people killed.
Speaker 3 (20:27):
That's Texas Border Congressman Tony Gonzalez. He says that men
and women who serve homeland security are just doing their
jobs and don't deserve to be attacked. President Trump signaling
a shift on the Russia Ukraine war, now suggesting Ukraine
might be able to win it.
Speaker 23 (20:43):
This could still be a power move and forcing Putin
to negotiate with Ukraine.
Speaker 24 (20:47):
Putin's a vicious dictator, and with any dictators, frankly, whether
it be she or Putin, the thing they understand the
most is power.
Speaker 23 (20:54):
Former Congressman Steve Stockman says Ukraine has also proven to
be much more formidable than Russia thought.
Speaker 24 (21:00):
Am shift is that there is always a chance that
the Ukrainians could win. They've really been pretty impressive in
the defense of their country.
Speaker 23 (21:07):
Stockman says, even though Trump is signaling stronger support for Ukraine,
don't expect the left to admit that he's not a
Russian asset. Ethan Buchanan News Radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 3 (21:16):
And President Trump also praising the indictment of former FBI
Director James Komy on True Social yesterday. The President called
Komi one of the worst human beings this country has
ever been exposed to and said that he is finally
being held accountable. Gomy's accused of lying to Congress about
his handling of the twenty sixteen election investigation into Russian inference.
(21:36):
According to multiple FBI sources, Joe Biden stopped the investigation
into Barisma to protect his son Hunter.
Speaker 25 (21:44):
The FBI had all this information, They had three confidential
sources saying something is up with Joe Biden, Hunter, Biden,
Parisma and Ukraine. Looks like money was exchanged. The Senate
wants the FBI to explain what it did was that information.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
That's reporter Beth Brellia with the Federalist who says the
FBI has yet to respond, but they're hopeful to get
the truth. With Cash Pattel in charge. California has the
highest unemployment rates in the US at five and a
half percent. It's unchanged since July. That's according to a
new US Census Bureau of Labor Statistic Statistics report. Experts
(22:22):
say that California companies are allowing more remote work options,
impacting local job opportunities. California is in desperation mode as
it tries to keep oil and gas companies from leaving
the states.
Speaker 26 (22:35):
Governor Gavin Newsom's failed energy crusade is slapping him in
the face.
Speaker 27 (22:39):
We're going to get rid of fossil fuels, we're going
to ban cars, and now he has to change because
gasoline prices in California with his policies could go to
ten dollars a gallon.
Speaker 26 (22:48):
Oil and gas expert Phil Flynn says Newsom has shattered
his trust with the energy industry and his track record
makes any of his words hollow.
Speaker 27 (22:56):
The minute the energy industry solves the problem and gets
prices back in line. I feel he's going to turn
out him again.
Speaker 3 (23:02):
He says.
Speaker 26 (23:03):
Even if Newsom makes promises, companies will still leave. Andrei

him the maximum sentence for manslaughter. One of the new

laws in the state of Texas prohibits issuing PR bonds
for certain offenses, but here in Harris County for now,
what is called a federal consent decree is blocking it.
Speaker 28 (23:41):
It certainly puts the judges and magistrates between Iraq and
a hard place about whether or not they should adhere
to the state's new law governing those PR bonds, or
should they adhere to the terms of that federal consent
to create that's reporter Holly Hanson with the Texan and
local judges have been threatened with criminal charges.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
Even though an appeals court rejected the federal decree in

rules are in effect for products containing THC, but the
industry fears that Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick's push for the

come back and try to harm the industry further.
Speaker 3 (24:23):
Cynthia Cabrera's with the Texas Himp Business Council. They're supporting
new rules that are in effect this week the band

They've got three games left to make it into the playoffs.

Andy' all feeling bothered today? Five thirty eight is the
time here in Houston's morning news. Last year, a woman

by the rapper that the candy was in. She says
that on the rapper it looked like what was inside

of that Reese's peanut butter cup would be a pumpkin
shape Reese's peanut butter cup with a face, because that
was what was on the rapper. It has scary face,
and it bothered her that when she opened up the

oh it was pumpkin shape, but it didn't have it
did have the scary face it was on the rapper.
Speaker 3 (26:05):
I was deceived.
Speaker 5 (26:08):
Well, good news is is that Hershees will not be
banned from selling its Halloween candies in the packaging the
aforementioned packaging, she sued for five million dollars for false
false advertising because she was bothered by that she will
not be getting her five million dollar payout either. She
pointed out that several of the Halloween candies are also
(26:29):
less spooky than the appear on the rapper, so it's
not just the Reeses, it's some of them. This company's
trying to deceive us. Candies are not gonna be She
wanted them pulled from the store shelves, and she wanted
five million dollars for quote unquote deceiving America. Judges dismissed
the lawsuit, she rulling that the planet failed to prove
any concrete economic injury and the products were not rendered
(26:53):
worthless because after all, they're still delicious, and that's why
most people get them, not because as they're in a
particular shape or have a scary face on them for
a Halloween, but because people like to eat them. So
as long as the candy was in the wrapper and
you got to eat it, it doesn't matter. It didn't
(27:13):
have a scary face. So it got me thinking though,
because I get bothered on almost a daily basis. The
thing that bothers me the most right now are spam calls. Yeah,
I know, Nashville, do not call list that that's a joke.
I'm getting calls right now, any all getting calls from
New York. I'm getting like millions of calls from New
(27:35):
York for some debt consolidation type of thing. And they
have been calling for three weeks solid, and they call
five or six times a day, and they call on
a different number every time. Every time I block the number,
every time it shows up as New York, I know
exactly what it is. I never answer the phone because
that's what they want me to do. If I could
(27:55):
sue them for five million dollars I and actually have
identify them and win the lawsuit, I might actually that
would bother me enough that I would actually consider doing it.
So here's my question to you this morning, it's our
question today. What would bother you enough that you would
actually go to court and try to sue over it?
What would it need to be to bother you that much.
(28:17):
You go to the iHeartRadio up KTRH, if you look
for the talkback button, you hit that you get up
the thirty seconds. First name where you're calling from. And
again the question is what would bother you enough that
you would actually go to court and see over it.
Five forty time for trafficking whether together. So we check

Speaker 16 (29:14):
It looks like the same forecast from now until sometime
next week. At this point, I've looked through Tuesday in detail.
I'll have to go look and see what our next
chance aren is. But honestly, I don't see any rain
coming anytime soon. So you know what to expect. Consider
yourself well prepared. It's comfortable this morning. What I am
(29:35):
noticing this morning, the temperature is a little bit cooler,
humidity is a little bit lower. It's really pleasant. But
with the sunshine and a light northerly breeze, we're going
to wind up in the upper eighties to low nineties today.
It's still a comfortable day, but doesn't quite feel I'm
not gonna call it fall just because we're talking temperatures

So this has kind of been a long day coming.
Finally indicted James Comey, the former FBI director, for lying
in front of Congress on the Russian hoax. In case
you need a reminder of what it was he said
and how he lied you Goblin last night with Jesse Waters.
So here is James Comedy followed by Jesse.
Speaker 30 (32:30):
Mister McCabe, who works for you as publicly and repeatedly
stated that he leaked information to the Wall Street Journal
and that you were a directly aware of it and
that you directly authorized it.
Speaker 8 (32:43):
I can only speak to my testimony.
Speaker 7 (32:44):
I stand by what the testimony you summarized that I
gave in May of twenty seventeen.
Speaker 30 (32:49):
So your testimony is you've never authorized anyone to leak.
Speaker 7 (32:52):
Not going to characterize Andy's testimony, but mine is the same.
Speaker 31 (32:55):
Today, no one's above the law and lying to Congress
as a crime, and now he's facing up to five
years in prison. Komy should have known this would have
caught up to him. He knew Hillary planted the Russia hoax,
and he used the hoax to spy on the Trump campaign.
He used undercover agents and doctored evidence. After Trump won,
(33:15):
Komy tried to take him down from the inside, but
got caught. He's accused of authorizing his dirty number two,
Andy McCabe, to leak to the press. That's what he
lied to Congress about, and this obstructed the congressional investigation
and tore our country to pieces now. After he got fired,
he confessed to leaking documents to a reporter to trigger
(33:39):
a special counsel in order to impeach Trump.
Speaker 12 (33:42):
Did you show copies of your memos to anyone outside
of the Department of Justice?
Speaker 3 (33:51):
Yes?
Speaker 17 (33:53):
And to whom did you show copies?
Speaker 3 (33:55):
I asked?
Speaker 7 (33:57):
President tweeted on Friday after I got fired that I
better hope there's not tapes. I woke up in the
middle of the night on Monday night because it didn't
dawn on me originally that there might be corroboration for
our conversation. There might be a tape, And my judgment
was I needed to get that out into the public square,
and so I asked a friend of mine to share
the content of the memo with a reporter. Didn't do
(34:19):
it myself for a variety of reasons, but I asked
him to because I thought that might prompt the appointment
of a special counsel, and so I asked a close
friend of mine to do it.
Speaker 31 (34:27):
Komy was sniffed out staging a coup and framing the
President as a trader a Russian operative, then leaking and
lying to Congress about his operations.
Speaker 3 (34:37):
These are actual crimes.
Speaker 31 (34:38):
Remember, they had to make up crimes to charge Trump
thirty four felon accounts, charges for a crime that have
never been brought before in the history of our country.
This isn't revenge, it's accountability. Biden gave Merrick Garland the
green light to indict Trump, and they indicted dozens of
high ranking Republican officials and hundreds of Republican activists. They
(35:01):
put a lot of people in prison. They censured us,
they debanked us, they spied on parents.
Speaker 3 (35:08):
So this is nothing. So far.
Speaker 31 (35:10):
The Trump doj has indicted two Republicans, John Bolton and
James Comy. And why would we believe Comy's side of
the story. He lied about Russia for years. Now he's
innocent until proven guilty, and he's going to have to
make his case in court. But we just hope he
didn't spend all of his book advance money because he's
(35:31):
going to have to spend a lot on lawyers.
Speaker 5 (35:33):
Yes, yes he is, And the question is is he
the tip of the iceberg? Will there be more indictments coming?
If we're going to indict James Comy, how long before
we indict Hillary Clinton? And by the way, it was
a grand jury in Virginia that indicted him. It was
a decision that wasn't The Justice Department made a decision
(35:54):
about putting a grand jury in place to consider it.
But they did not just unilattery, unilaterally pardon me, make
the decision. Grand jury did that. It's five fifty six.

back down to People Like chuck Schumer At. KIM jeffries
(51:18):
i think the demands that demands Are the democrats are
making amount to a one trillion dollar ransom because they're
Holding the american, People hostage They're holding american. GOVERNMENT hostage
i Don't think trump is going to back down to
that kind.
Speaker 5 (51:33):
Of, DEMAND well i certainly wouldn't expect him to, do
It and i'm and if he doesn't want, It done
i'm pretty sure he's going to try to make sure
that leadership in Both the senate And the house. Understand
that so exactly what is It the democrats are looking
for to avoid? The shutdown you mentioned a one trillion.
Dollar ransom what does this included that one?
Speaker 32 (51:52):
Trillion, dollars well like they want crazy things like restoring
funding For the Corporation for public, broaduct casting or they
want they want money that allows them to provide healthcare
and services for a.
Speaker 3 (52:07):
Legal aliens.
Speaker 32 (52:09):
It's not really a serious demand and a serious negotiation
for all intents. And purposes every single Time a democrat
goes on television and speaking about the, looming shutdown they're
basically tricking and Hoodweeking the american people over, their demands
because what it amounts to is they want to find
(52:30):
a way to keep that slush fund going that they
got so spoiled On When joe biden was. In office
they loved the amounts of Money That joe biden and
his team were shoveling towards every single leftist, agenda item
and they want that.
Speaker 5 (52:46):
To CONTINUE and i would guess too that they probably
want to be able to have the talking. Point right
they want to be able, to, say, hey listen we tried.
To Negotiate the president wouldn't even meet. With Us the
republicans are the reason why there's a, government shutdown it's.
Speaker 3 (52:59):
Not, Us.
Speaker 32 (53:01):
Yeah and that has always worked in, the past going
back twenty, thirty years that, whatever happens in every, Single
case republicans are going to get blamed for, the shutdown
even if it was Something that. Democrats did but that
is no longer, the case that metric no. Longer applies
that narrative will, not hold especially given the Fact that
(53:22):
republicans hold not Only The, white house But the senate And,
the congress and that people are starting to wake up
to the fake news That the democrats. Keep pushing the
Fact That president trump has announced publicly and spoken publicly
about his negotiations about the failures That the democrats bringing
about his refusal to give into their creavy demands has
(53:43):
really set the table Because now americans understand what Republic
what democrats are asking for is not, only unreasonable but
it's already out of the question to half.
Speaker 5 (53:53):
The country and to, be clear for the Majority, of
americans the, government shutdown they aren't even going to, notice it.
Are they if it does, shut down.
Speaker 32 (54:01):
The vast majority will not even see what a government
shut down equates to in. Their life, the unserious the
ridiculous Demands that democrats are making is to keep. Fringe
benefits it's to keep, flush funds flush. Funds going it's
not to keep. Essential services no one's going to miss
(54:22):
out On Their social, security check no one's going to
miss out on, Mail delivery police and fire services, will
continue the military will continue to stand strong defending. Our
nation the vast majority of those impacted by the government
shutdown are people who are, protected by, implemented by and
(54:42):
Managed by democrat controlled Cities and democrat controlled districts across.
The country and what they're trying to do is they're
trying to keep. That bloat they're trying to keep that
that that overspending.
Speaker 5 (54:54):
In place could this Backfire? On democrats could they end
up losing some of these people through through through a firing?
For example would the president have the ability to fire
any of these people who end up going out on
the government shutdown or shutting any of these departments down
or thinning.
Speaker 3 (55:08):
THEM out.
Speaker 32 (55:10):
I think i think it could very seriously and very
quickly Backfire. OUR democrats i Think most americans have had
to deal with a contracting economy and a worse seeing
comomy that Manifested Under, joe biden with much, higher inflation,
higher taxes and they've all had to tighten, their belts
that've had to find ways to manage. Their resources And
(55:33):
now congress refuses to, do so.
Speaker 3 (55:35):
Even though.
Speaker 32 (55:37):
They see the evidence of what happened in twenty Four

really the increasing unity across our country following democratic violence across,
the country including with the Murder Of. Charlie kirk this
is a time for us to come together and focus

i would really want to do is go. To court
it'd have to be something that really really annoyed me
to get me to actually want to go to court and.

Well for the, First Time president trump Is saying ukraine
could win. THIS war i don't know if it's because
he really Believes that ukraine is in a better position
to win, the war or if he's just that Mad At.
Vladimir Putin, steve stockman is this? Former congressman what do
you think?
Speaker 7 (01:29:01):
It?
Speaker 3 (01:29:02):
IS steve i.
Speaker 24 (01:29:03):
Thank you what Happened is trump tried the carrot and
now he's trying. To stick he's done, everything possible He's.
Praised putin the ONLY thing i haven't seen him do
is dance at the. Prom TOGETHER and i think he's
turned a page and said we're going to now try.
The stick so that's. MY opinion i think he's tired
of trying To woo putin and nothing.
Speaker 5 (01:29:26):
Has worked, All, right well let's talk about that. Stick
approach what would be the appropriate stick approach when you're
Dealing With? Ladimir putin are we talking About more american
military hardware Donated to ukraine to try to fight? This
war what do you think he has in mind to
try to provide?
Speaker 24 (01:29:43):
That, STICK actually i think he's talking more than. His
action but what he's going to do is continue TO
sell nato the weapons and then those weapons will be Delivered.
To ukraine ukraine is after, four years really wasn't supposed
to be standing. Right now but as you know the
(01:30:05):
History through Vietnam and afghanistan and even In Our American,
revolutionary war when a foreign government comes onto a land that's,
not theirs they often have extreme. Difficult DIFFICULTY and i
really think you're going To see ukraine continue. TO fight
i mean they would fight with sticks. And bricks if
(01:30:27):
the History, OF ukraine i don't know if you're aware
of it or, the audiences but they were occupied both
By the nazis And, the communists and just about Everybody
in ukraine had somebody that was died in one of those.
Two occupations so they're pretty. TOUGH people i bet.
Speaker 5 (01:30:43):
They are let me ask you this, As Well, steve
stockman and that Is Is vladimir putin trying to fight
From the, russian perspective trying to fight this war with
one hand tie behind. His back, you know you hear
stories that they're not using The regular, russian troops the
top military that. They're there they're, in scripting, you know
(01:31:04):
young men who don't have a lot of military experience
to go in as, canon fodder so, to speak to fight.
Speaker 24 (01:31:08):
This, war well they had some of their top troops in,
the beginning and they lost a lot of their. Top
TROOPS so i think The way putin looks at, it
now let's try to find people. That arnest he's. Really
worried if, you recall They almost putin was almost overthrown
when one of his own guys turned around started Marching.
Towards moscow so he's sold them back troops in case
(01:31:30):
that ever. Happens AGAIN and i, think, that uh he's
also not wanting to put his guys forward because he
doesn't want. To rebellion he's lost a lot. Of men
this this war is probably the bloodiest War Since World
war two For. The russians it's, it's uh he's thrown everything,
at IT and i think he's trying to keep some
reserves in case there's an uprising within his.
Speaker 5 (01:31:52):
Own land, it's, BECAUSE say i Know the russians are
used to, authoritarian dictators but which is what Booten me
is may may. Call them is anybody's still. A dictator,
but yeah have to wonder whether or Not the russian
people actually, rise up because, after all is kind of
like fighting Yourself. Fighting ukraine yeah.
Speaker 24 (01:32:09):
It is and, in fact prior, to this everybody would
travel back. And forth there were great friends of Marriages
between Ukrainians. And Russians the russians were lost the. Longest
time we're saul. As brothers but now there's so much Anger.
In ukraine even if they were To, OCCUPY ukraine i
Think the ukrainians would still kill a Lot. OF russians
(01:32:32):
I think putin needs to, wake UP.
Speaker 3 (01:32:34):
But i don't think.
Speaker 24 (01:32:34):
He cares the only thing he, cares about by, the
way is the. Gas station you only always joke And
say russia is nothing but a Large gas she has

The tens This Is Houston's morning News With Jimmy barrett
Tad The Houston Morning.
Speaker 5 (01:40:45):
News, team yeah, you know the main active ingredient in
tailanal and other pain killers that were about the only
pain killer that doctors were prescribing to pregnant women because
other ones like idbuprofen can cause reading or. Other issues
so that's what they. Were prescribing But Now president Trump AND.
(01:41:06):
Robert F kennedy junior come out and said that we
think there is, a link at least some sort of
link between a sedamnivan tyl and all. And autism, of
course there's plenty of scientists out there who claim, that
no that's not. The case but at at, any Rate
Doctor mark siegel heat does a lot of medical he's
the chief medical Guy For, fox news got asked about
(01:41:30):
what doctors do in this. Particular case do you follow
the advice Of The united states government or do you
go ahead and go with your own advice if you've
been prescribing it to pregnant women in.
Speaker 41 (01:41:40):
The, past well they made it very difficult. For doctors let's,
face it because a sidamnifin is the most common ingredient
in over the, counter medications and everybody's familiar with it.
For decades but when you start putting out premature warnings,
on it especially to, pregnant women which is a very.
Vulnerable Group where i'm already telling pregnant women take less.
(01:42:00):
Is more, you know we try to keep pregnant women
away from taking a lot of medications unless they.
Speaker 3 (01:42:06):
Really needed so we already, Knew. That dana we already
knew that.
Speaker 41 (01:42:09):
We're not popping medications or pushing them on. Pregnant women
we only use antibiotics if we're really sure it's. An
infection but the problem is that high fevers have been
associated with neurodevelopmental, disorders too and this has not been associated.
With it it's in the early stages of let's do.
More study and then we find out From The Wall
street journal that the lead author of the study they've
(01:42:31):
been leaning on that was Published in august was actually
defending the plane off or actually was testifying on behalf
of the plane of intail and. All trials so this is.
Incredibly premature i'm glad they're looking into the effect of
acida mitifin on pregnancy for one reason and one, reason
only which is the current guideline say you could take
(01:42:52):
up to, three grams which is the same amount that
an adult users who. ISN'T pregnant i think the dosing
needs to be. Looked at but when you put OUT
an fda warning like this and then say go ask,
your doctor your doctor may be worried about saying go
ahead and. Take it and then what happens if the
person gets sick and starts.
Speaker 3 (01:43:11):
Blaming it it's. A mess it's a.
Speaker 41 (01:43:13):
Total mess so just saying to ask your doctor isn't.
The answer it used to be. The answer now it's.
Speaker 5 (01:43:19):
A problem now it's a liability for doctors and to
advise you when it comes to taking that seven forty

Stop.
Speaker 3 (01:46:59):
It oh.
Speaker 5 (01:47:02):
The, problem is of course part of. The rhetoric it's
only partly. The rhetoric i'm more than willing to admit
that we have a lot of people out there who
are operating on the mental, health edge who have no direction,
in life no purpose, in life who glom on to
some sort of a. Political issue they all seem to
be on, the, left though don't they the progressive. Far
(01:47:24):
left there's a lot of very vulnerable people following the progressive,
far left and they are vulnerable to what they have
to say about INSTITUTIONS. Like Ice as i've said, many
times it's easy to be a target when the target
is perceived to Be a nazi Or the gestapo or
(01:47:46):
anything having to Do With, nazi germany which is What
the democrats have done such a great. Job doing is
making these poor people who WORK, for ice who are
just trying to do, their job the Job that congress
put them in, charge of following the life Laws that,
congress instituted but they are targets because of the progressive.
(01:48:08):
Far left we've learned a few more things About the.
Dallas Shooter Here's dana prina on.
Speaker 42 (01:48:13):
The five information found from the suspect's phone included a
downloaded document containing a LIST of dhs facilities In the,
dallas area multiple searches, of ballistics and Of Quote charlie
kirk shot video and it gets worse.
Speaker 32 (01:48:28):
From there.
Speaker 22 (01:48:30):
He CALLED the.
Speaker 12 (01:48:31):
Ice employees people showing up to collect a. Dirty paycheck
he wrote that he intended to maximize LETHALITY against. Ice
personnel he hoped his actions WOULD terrorize ice employees and
interfere with, their work which he called.
Speaker 17 (01:48:50):
Human trafficking the shooter USED the ice.
Speaker 4 (01:48:53):
Tracking apps it's no different than giving a hitman the
location of their.
Speaker 42 (01:48:57):
Intended target and the gunman also even a shellcasing that READ.
Anti ice but a FORMER senior fbi official seems to
think that the shooter was inspired by right.
Speaker 17 (01:49:07):
Wing extremists the irony with.
Speaker 43 (01:49:09):
The writing the first time we really saw That Was.
Britton tarrant he was, a fierce, you know. White supremacist
to see this, coming from, you know potentially the other
side of the political spectrum is a. Little strange why,
you would, you know use a tactic that a famous
(01:49:30):
white supremacist who has been revered and copycattered over the
years by other, White supremacists why you would. Do that
but it does appear that people are moving in that
direction because they want people.
Speaker 3 (01:49:42):
To know what they're doing and why they're.
Speaker 42 (01:49:44):
Doing it And Here's president trump reiterating his call for
the left to stop WITH anti ice rhetoric that compares agents.
Speaker 3 (01:49:51):
To fascists radical.
Speaker 44 (01:49:54):
Left rhetoric the radical left is causing. The problem they're at,
a control they're saying things and they're really. Dumb people
it's going to, get worse and ultimately it's.
Speaker 8 (01:50:05):
Going to go back.
Speaker 3 (01:50:05):
ON them, i mean bad things happen when they play.
Speaker 5 (01:50:07):
These, games well as it worked so far as far as,
them stopping maybe this is the exact result they're. Looking,
for hey one positive thing out of The Whole charlie.
