Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jeff Attica joins us, what did Warrior project. Clearly, Charlie
Kirk knew that there could be a potential problem somewhere
down the road. He was wearing a bulletproof vest. Didn't
help him because of where he was shot in this
particular case, but he's wearing a bulletproof vest. So when
you know there is a possibility for violence, what are
the steps that we should be taking in order to
(00:21):
try to prevent the violence from happening.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Yeah, so every school has its own every university, every
school has its own security protocols, and every state has
their own protocols. But there's certain colonalities if you're going
to have an outdoor event. Obviously those drones that were
used were taking the crowd, but nobody really seemed to
think about, let's have the drones up above the tall buildings,
(00:46):
which is incredible to me. I mean, that's one one
for an outdoor event. So, you know, these people knew
that Charlie Kirk is particularly knew that he was under
death threats. And you're an outdoor Vendo venue and you've
got the crowd cover this in front of them, that
through the shots. But you know what the world these
(01:09):
people thinking, particularly in the last Butler Pennsylvania where somebody
did get up on a Paul Rufe and took a
shot of the president. So it's to me there's a
lot of questions that are unanswered, and I think it's
probably just a lack of imagination in the wake of
nine to eleven. That's what the nine eleven commissions said,
just not thinking clearly about what you really need to
think about in terms of security. Right.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
I'd love to get your theories, Jeff, because I think
the answer to the question of how do we make
our college campuses safe is that you can't. You could
take precautions, but you cannot guarantee safety one hundred percent
of the time. Evil has a way of doing what
evil does?
Speaker 2 (01:46):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
It's funny because I had this I had this argument
with a Facebook posting yesterday with somebody who wanted you
talk to me about common sense gun control, to which
I have said, okay, well, first of all, what is
common sense when it comes to gun control? And second
of all, did you see what happened in North Carolina
that didn't involve a gun. That was a night And
(02:08):
we've had bombings, and we've had people run over with cars.
Evil finds a way to do what it does.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yes, And that guns have saved a lot of lives too.
They never report that in the news of the thousands
of times that people with guns have stopped people, you know,
engaging in violence. But you're right, it's just these same people. Well,
you know, we can have peace now and ways to
stop war. You can't stop warriors, can't stop crime. This
is reality and that's common sense. You're going to live
in reality. But we can do a better job. I
(02:37):
think of educating the public see something, say something. We've
seen those videos where you know, people are have their
phones out and they see somebody in black laying on
the roof. They should have called nine one one immediately.
They didn't. And that's one of the best lines of
defense is just people. And that's what's going to catch
this assassin, this murder or this terrorist. Is someone's going
to you know, is going to indicate where he's at.
(03:00):
And it's not going to be long. I predict today
they will nab him. He's on foot, you know, last
time we saw him, he's got a limp from jumping
off that building. Somebody is aiding and betting him probably,
but he's going to be caught and the full force
of justice needs to go against this individual.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Do you do you have any theories before we let
you go, Jeff Attica, do you have any theories about
what is driving all this political violence?
Speaker 2 (03:24):
Well, you know what causes crime, criminals, and what is
a criminal. Someone is totally arrogant. They are disorited to reality.
They're delusional. You know, the definition of truth is you
conform your mind to objective reality. This assassin has refused
to conform his mind to objective reality. I'm saying he
(03:44):
had transgender stuff written here and there. That's the objective reality.
So that's part of the problem is people are delusional,
and then if they're arrogant and they have a criminal mentality,
they take that delusion and they and Asian violence.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
Okay, with that all together, you got trouble, all right, sir?
Thank you. Jeff Attikett at the Wounded Warrior Project
