So you know, gender affirming is a euphemism for experimenting
on kids. These are Gerbels esque types of experiments on kids,
from the puberty blockers all the way through the cross
sex hormones under the actual surgery. So Texas rightly says
now can't do that to kids who are incapable of
giving informed consent. Makes no sense whatsoever. So who's taking
(00:36):
them kids out of the kids out of Texas and
getting this stuff done elsewhere?

So here's what I can tell you. At the Good
Trouble Lives on protests in City Hall, I spoke with
Mandy Giles, who is the founder of Parents of Trance Youth,
who gave us an interview. She explained non governmental organizations
are assisting in transporting Texas children to New Mexico and

other states for this LGBT gender affirming treatment. That is
illegal in the state of Texas. She explained to me
that some of these organizations are actually prefer to avoid
using tax dollars because of what she called the quote
(01:23):
strings attached. There's a series of organizations that do this,
but she mentioned one of them. I think if you
give me one second, I will give you the name
of the one that she mentioned as the one. But
(01:44):
there are certainly others. Stand by one second, or if
you want to keep talking, I'll pull it up acid. Yeah.

No, if you could, that would be great, because we
do we need to expose these organizations whomever they are,
in order to stop it, because what we're talking about
is the circumvention of Texas state law. If you are
working in Texas to break the law by taking kids
out of Texas, you know, yeah, maybe the procedures or
maybe the prescriptions or whatever are being filled and the
(02:12):
uh uh, these things are being done out of the state.
But if it is originating, if the assistance, the aiding
and a betting if you will starts within the state,
then to me, you're you're you are indeed violating state law.
And I think everybody needs to know who these organizations
are so that pressure can be brought on them to
stop this. Uh did you?

Did you? What what Mandy told me is that the
Campaign for Southern Equality Campaign for Southern Equality and you
can go to their website on Southernequality dot org. Uh. They,
according to UH, the founder of Parents for trans Youth
or the largest one that are actively taking or or

assisting taking funding kids to other states for these treatments.
I don't think her organization does that directly because she said, Hey,
these are the partners that do so. I think it's
a Southern Equality that actually does the work of transporting kids.

So to your knowledge, Joseph, is there anyone in law
enforcement or anybody in the state legislature or anybody else
that can act on this since state law forbids what
you know, what they're doing.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Well, there's certainly some measures that that can be taken.
But what our publisher mentioned on an interview regarding this
topic is that he thought that the reason that is
being taken to get these treatments outside of the state
(03:51):
of Texas is because there's in fact other places to
take them. And so one of the important things would
be to have people legislators and for example, New Mexico,
which is the closest state allowing this to happen. You know,
if New Mexico want cash straight Texas children, then I
(04:13):
guess Texas children won't be taken to New Mexico to
get cast strated and so on.
