You for having me on. I really appreciate that.

Yeah, so this is a great column. You wrote, a
great article you wrote about this. This is insane. How
many thousands of visas u vsus? Of course, when polease say, oh,
this person was a victim of a crime of some sort,
and we we give this U visa thing, and it
goes to whatever state department or whatever the FEDS, and
most of the time they just rubber stamp because it's papers.

Tell me how many of these things are being pumped
out by Texas jurisdictions, which ones are the most most prolific,
And tell us this game that appears to be going
on with just giving these free u vses away.

Yeah, certainly, let me break it down. So you visas
are intended to grant temporary legal status and work authorization
to illegal aliens who are dicta of some serious crimes.
We conducted an investigation using public information requests from Texas
law enforcement agencies across the state from January twenty twenty

four to early twenty twenty five, just over a year
of data. These certifications do not technically grant the legal status.
The final decision technically rests with ICE, But we spoke
with a retired special agent, Victor Agula, who told us
that it's actually sent by paperwork, approved administratively, with no

one actually checking on the information. When you look at yeah,
when you look at jurisdictions in Texas, Dallas PD has
one thousand and fifty eight, Harris County DA nineteen seventy two,
Travis County DA six thirty five, SAPD five five to two,

Dallas County DA four fifty six, and so on. The
Houston Police Department declined to provide any data without a
six hundred and thirty dollars processing features our request. They
said our request was voluminous, and so we submitted a
narrowed request. Yes, but we have not received the response.

(02:24):
They said it's going to take at least sixty days
because it's a lot of data. So we really don't
know what's going on with k HPD at this point.

When you have a they say it's voluminous. I wonder
what the Freedom of Information Request Acts says, because I'm
going to guess voluminous is not an excuse, that's my guess.
But they're handing this out like candy. It looks like
including look at this in your report. The Bear County
Sheriff's office fifty U visas for the illegals. The Governor

Santis rightfully flew over the month this vineyard they called
the military ound because they don't want their illegals, the
illegals to show up there. But fifty U visas for illegals,
phone and must vineyard. What the heck is that?

Right? Yeah, this is actually how I became aware of
the program because Bear County Sheriff Salas went on the Yeah,
Salazar went on the Texas Democratic Convention last year and
ragged that he had given these illegal aliens these U visas,

which opened my eyes and I started looking into it
and realized that this is a bigger issue because this
is a national program. In fact, four hundred thousand illegal
aliens currently have pending applications. And while you're waiting for
your application to be reviewed for years, sometimes more than
five years, you get to stay and get a work permit, and.

You told me in your article is a green card eventually,
then maybe eventually more than a green card eventually, because
in the weight of his five years, like you're saying so. Anyways,
it's insane and it's wrong. I'm grateful for this investigation.
