Clinton approached him with concerns about Joe Biden's quote, political.

Former NSA Jake Sullivan, he too was concerned about Biden
being able to make it through another campaign elsewhere. Convicted
sex trafficker and Jeffrey Epstein associate Glayne Maxwell sat down
with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche yesterday.

Never invoked a privilege, she never declined to answer. She
answered all the questions truthfully, honestly, and to the best
of her ability.

Attorney David Marcus there they'll meet again today. Democrats in
the mainstream media have gone all in on Epstein after
ignoring it for almost a decade. Author Bill O'Reilly told
ktr h's Clay Travis and Buck Sexton.

Why that is what the dishonest, corrupt, corporate media in
America is trying to do is convince Americans that Donald
Trump had access to Jeffrey Epstein's crimes. So any linkage
between Trump and Epstein is going to be blown up.

mainstream media won't talk about Barack Obama's involvement in the
Russia hoax, ignoring yet another Democrat scandal.

He'll be able to tell you at his next meeting,
but I will say that he did say the country's
doing really well.

Trump passed repeatedly criticized Powell for not lowering interest rates.
Overnight trading is up down futures around sixty points up
as of now. New pauling shows Trump's approval ratings sitting
at about forty five percent overall, with eighty six percent
of Republicans supporting him, a good sign for next year's midterms.

The reality is approval ratings these days, especially partisan approval ratings,
are pretty static. So if we saw a five or
six point increase in his approval rating, that would be
dramatic in terms of the impact on down ballot congressional races.

Chris Johnson with the American Energy Leadership Institute says, has
the Big Beautiful Bill takes effect, that approval number will
go even higher. Sad news about one of the president's
biggest supporters.

Well, they took a shot at my hero, and they
tried to kill the next president of the United States.
Enough was enough.

You know who that is, the legendary Hull Cogin at
inc last year. He died yesterday after suffering a heart
attack at the age of seventy one.

the special legislative session continues with redrawing the congressional maps.

congressional boundaries, adding as many as five GOP seats. Democrats
and the crosshairs say they know their time is limited.
They're vowing to use lawfair to save their jobs.

That is South Texas Congressman Vicenta Gonzalez, who's about to

Now, there are reports that Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton
could be offered a job in the Trump administration, which
which would end his challenge of incumbent US Senator John Cornyn.

had some really really iconic people passing away in a
very very close proximity to one another.

And the latest and maybe the biggest.

And most well known of all of them is is
Terry Blea.

And yeah, you don't know him by that name. You
know him by Hulkogin And.

He of course burst uponto the scene in the nineteen
eighties when I was a kid growing up, I was
a Hulk of maniac. And then he really hit peak.
In my view, he hit peak relevance just last year,
last July a year ago, and he showed up at
the r NC campaigning and cheering and supporting President Trump

like I've never really heard anybody do it, and it
was really very exciting for me, again being a big,
longtime fan of his and of course a fan and
a supporter of President Trump. I got a chance to
interview Hulk Hogan last year right after that, and I
want to share a clip here before we get really
rolling with the morning, because I talked. We talked about

a lot of things, obviously his you know, his career
and so forth. But the primary focus that I wanted
to wanted to have with Hulk Hogan was his recent
turn as a conservative political supporter of President Trump and
the story I thought was fascinating, so I thought I
would share it with you this morning here on Houston's

And I promise you, for.

Almost fifty years, with the exception of the nWo nWo years,
you did the real American thing, your song, your persona
your your fugue against Iran, you know, with the Iron Chic,
with the Soviet Union with Nikolai Volkoff, the Iraq when
Sergeant Slaughter turned Trader and General Adnan and Hussein and whatever.
You've been America First for decades, professionally and personally.

Is that what drew you to Milwaukee?

And the Trump Amania endorsement, the America First thing against
all of the enemies?

Speaker 21 (09:29):
Well, you know, it was such a weird situation because
I was like most people, you know in America. You know,
I was kind of like being silent, and for me,
that was like being a coward, you know. And I
and I just want what every American wants. We want,
you know, safety, and you know, we want to be
able to afford food and gas and have a quality

of lights. And in the last you know years, for
four years or so, we it's changed a lot, you know,
in this country. It's not what it was when I
was growing up, you know. And you know, I was
a Trump supporter because I've known him since WrestleMania four
and five and we rented the Trump Plaza for him
for WrestleMania four and five. He's always been a great guy,

might be a little arrogant, might haven't as to his personality,
but he's really kind and really good to people, even
the making wish kids. Then he'd spend time with him,
and I learned a lot from him, watching him touch
him and hang on to him and praying with him.
I was like, man, this guy's for real. So I
was silent, and I was what I would call a coward,
you know, not speaking up. And then I started thinking,

(10:34):
you know, the way this country is for my children
and their children, there's gonna be nothing left, you know.
And everybody's been demonizing Trump and the news and they're
all saying, oh, he wants to go back to, you know,
the old America. Well, no he doesn't. He doesn't want
to go back to the old America. He wants America
the way it should be, the way it really should be.

So I was kind of like hiding out and being silent.
I was watching, and all of a sudden, when I
saw what went down when they tried to assassinate him,
it just got me really mad. And that's what keyed me.
I said, you know something, I can't be silent anymore.
I can't be a coward anymore. Somebody needs to start
stepping up and helping to save this country because there'll

be nothing left for our children.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
You know, that was the trigger for him, No pun intended,
but the attempt on President Trump's life got Hulk Hogan
off of the sidelines, and he played an instrumental role.
I absolutely believe in convincing people to turn to President
Trump and help drive that incredible victory that he had
in November of twenty twenty four. So rest in peace.

And that was just my little memory of talking to

state courts to release all available documents related to the
Epstein files. Only redactions would be made to protect the
names of innocent victims.

You would think that this would be hunky dory with
the Democrats, given the fact that they have been engaging
in political theater to make it look as though they
want full transparency for this. So when Senator Mark Wwaine Mullen,
a Republican, offered this, you would think they would say, yes,
let's go. Why did they immediately object political theater in play.

stand right now. The houses in recess, they are gone
for about forty one days. And by the way, just
as an aside, wouldn't it be nice to have a

a row. But the senators still work and they'll be gone.
At the beginning of August, Senator Mark Wwayne Mullen introduced
a resolution calling for the federal and state courts to

release all available documents related to the Epstein files, again
with the exception of the names of innocent victims, those
would be redacted. The DOJ, which you probably know, has
already requested the grand jury records related to Epstein be unsealed,
but an Obama judge is currently demanding more information before
permitting the release of those. But one would think that

Democrats would be all over this. Mark Quaene Mullen, the
Republican Senator from Oklahoma, saying, let's go, let's release this.
But what happened when he introduced the resolutions to.

The victims and transparency to the American people. Mister President,
as I said before, we want transparency, but the courts
control the grand jury. The judges that overseeen the courts
control the grand jury. We in this body can have
resolutions back and forth and suggest if it be done,
but truthfully, the judges have.

Ag Bondy and the President has both already called up
on the judges to release this information. Well, my resolution
is simply saying is we agree with the President, we
agree with ag Bondi on the judges and calling up

legislation session, and notwithstanding Roll twenty two, I asked the
unanimous consent that the Senate proceed to the consideration of s.
REZ three point thirty five, which.

the premibabled by be agreed to, and that the motion
to reconsider be considered and made laid upon the table

Why would there be any objection whatsoever if the Democrats
are serious about wanting to release this. In the answers,
they're not serious about wanting to release this. Reuben Diego,
senator from Arizona, immediately said, reserve the right to object.
Mister president sent a president and obviously it just exposes
them for what they are. They are just playing political games.
Mark quain Mullen went right to x immediately after one

fifteen yesterday afternoon and tweeted quote, I just asked for
unanimous consent to pass an Epstein resolution calling for full
transparency and all available files to be released. Senate Democrats
objected on the floor liberal political theater. And that's exactly it.
President Trump, in my view, needs to understand what he

does understand, I'm sure, but I think he needs to
act like this is what it is.

The Democrats are trying to humiliate him, trying to embarrass him.

The more he talks about this, the more they try
to give it oxygen and make it appear as though
President Trump has something to hide.

He does not, obviously, but this is the theater.

And as they say, well, we need to have all
of this stuff released, well here's your opportunity. Why are
you doing what you just did and why are you
objecting to the release of all of these things? Bottom
line is, many of these things, if not most of
these things, can't be released without without a judge's order. Anyway,
they are tied up in courts, there are gag orders,

there are all kinds of restrictions, and that's one of
the reasons why things cannot be released. The only thing
that has made it a kind of a bit of
a problem for President Trump has been the messaging. The
messaging is the issue here. President Trump has said, why
do we care about this now he's been dead for
several years. Now, Well, of course we care because the
predators who committed those horrible crimes on that island against

the young people, they're not dead and they need to
be held accountable. So hopefully we will get closer to that,
but without the Democrat liberal theater. Okay, five twenty six. Now,

on KTRH. Our top story problems in Harris County. A
new UH survey of registered voters find that almost sixty
percent believe the county is going in the wrong direction.
Former Houston mayoral candidate Bill King says that may or
may not translate at the ballot box.

Certainly of the Republicans are going to try to tie
particular elected officials to some of these outcomes, and I'm
interesting to see whether they can do that successfully or not.
How far are they going to just those straight party
ballot Now, I'm a Democrat and one of those of
these people, no matter what kind of job they're doing.

Three of the five members of Commissioner's Court are up
for reelection next year, all Democrat, including Lena Hidalgo. The
county judge, is yet to officially announce a run. Her
