One of the biggest reasons for this is it's hard
to find officers who want to do it.

Most officers sign up because they want all the excitement
on the street. Staying in a school all day isn't
quite the excitement most people are looking for.

Former school resource officer and police chief Catherine Torres says
training resource officers also takes time.

Sometimes a year and a half just to get a
fresh rookie, and you really don't want rookies in school.
You'd want a more seasoned officer.

Torres also pointed out the immense cost of all of
this and says the state should help offset those costs.

Police Chief Brian O'Hara confirming what we saw on the
manifesto that was posted online. Two children were killed, eighteen
other people were hurt. The shooter's mother once worked at
the school, and now she is not cooperating with police.
According to Fox, Mary Grace Westman has hired a criminal
defense lawyer. We also know the shooter legally changed names

from male to female, and while in Texas, HHS Secretary
Robert F. Kennedy Junior blamed psychiatric drugs.

One of the culprits we need to examine is whether
the fact that we are the most over medicated nation
in the world.

Kennedy says that other countries have the same amount of
guns as we do, but he said they do not
have mass shootings like we see here.

In Austin, the State House passes the Women's Privacy Act
to keep men out of women's restrooms. The state Senate
now must approve changes that the House made before Governor
Greg Abbott can sign it. As of Monday, more than
seven hundred new laws go into effect here in Texas.
One of them legalizes short barrel rifles, removing them from

the state's list of banned weapons.

That does not change the requirements under federal law. There
still are a number of hoops you have to jump through.

Kirk Evans with Texas based US laws. Shield says they're
still a background check, but a two hundred dollars fee
was canceled under President Donald Trump's Big Beautiful Bill.

tandem with the police chief in Minneapolis, here's what you
need to know. You need to know what these terrorists,
these transgender terrorists are thinking in this case, just like
the transgender terrorists in Nashville that are And by the way,
this is absolutely demonic, There's no question about it. One

of the school one of his former school mates back
in elementary schools said it was demonished. She said he
was twisted and bizarre. Back then, the cops are called
twice to the house in matters that appeared to before him.
According to NBC News, that pop last night when I
was getting ready for this morning show. But here's what
you need to know. This is what they're thinking when
they're targeting your child and my child's school quote. I'm
feeling good about annunciation. It seems like a good combo

want to do more research. I have concerns about finding
a large enough group. I want to avoid any parents,
but pre and post school drop off, I think attacking
a large group of kids coming in from recesses my

I can. Trapped in those pews, these children will be

trapped into pews. They'll be easy targets, waiting ducks attending
church supper. He attended church several times to check this
out and scope it out the school schedule. I want
you to think about this for your kid's place, and
when you think of hardening and tactics the school schedule
is publicly posted online. He wrote, Oh, August twenty seventh,
that's an all school mass. Parents will probably not be there.

The church office opens at eight and they will be
employees in there. Now listen to this too about why
we need our faculty armed at our school district because
you got and we're gonna get into this at five
point fifty two with the former resource officer and the
police chief on how the majority of school districts are
not in compliance with armed security. These schools are saying

they can't afford to be in compliance. It's too much.
You are dang wrong. Get people trained to have a gun.
You don't have to hire people, Just get good staff members.
Could be a janitor, a teacher, an administrative I don't care.
Get them armed. That's not expensive. The Crime Prevention Research
Center reports this, what's this? Ninety seven point eight percent

of mass shootings that occurred over sixty eight year period,
we're carried out in gun free zones. Speaking of that,
the terrorist wrote the trans Terrorists Road, I recently heard
a rumor that James Holmes, the Auroa theater shooter, may
have chosen venues that were gunn free zones. I would
probably aim the same way. That's why I and many
others liked school so much. At least for me, I'm
focused on them. Adam Lanza is my reason. So this

was plotting to do this attack, to kill children like

doors locked without knowing that the attack was about to happen.

wooden bars on all the doors so they couldn't get out,

Yes, do you praying the prayers that Jensaki and a
lot of liberal Democrats are mocking. There's nothing more powerful
than prayer. There's two things you got to do. One
is to pray like it depends on God, because it does.
But also you act like it depends on you. You do

The buddy system. This is so sweet.

a buddy system of middle schoolers with the kids. And
so everybody goes to mask gets assigned a buddy the
first week, say like a first and a third grader
is the seventh grader and so you walk to mask
with your buddy's hand in hand, you sit next to
him in mass hand in hand, and when those shots
rang out, according to our kids and people there is

the first heroic instinct of our middle schoolers was to
push the buddies down, get them under the pews. And
as a result, that's why a lot of the the
injuries were of middle schoolers that put little kids before themselves.
And then they jumped under and covered the little kids
under the pews. So there's heroism and selflessness all over

this thing.

God bless them for their planning, those little those that's
why you have a two middle schoolers shot and two
of them killed. They're protecting the little children, and God
bless them for that. But I want the Catholic church
to get armed and start doing what we do like
at the Baptist Church, like at my church, and many churches,

heard the requirement in my head, I just went, well,
good luck with that, because they didn't give the school
districts enough time. Number one, and and the expense to
do everything, as you already stated, is pretty overwhelming for

the schools to be able to comply with this.

You know, when I look at this too, I mean
I don't have any they're they're they're complaining in this
one article that d I S D Dallas ized D
they well, we can't afford eighty five thousand dollars for
security guard. Look when when people walked into not too
long ago, into fourth ID, into one of their schools
and one of the big high schools there, they had

a camera rolling, you know, they're on their iPhone, one
of the some younger journalist type of person, and they
walked into the entrance and there was a security guard
sleeping literally on the video. So the middle of the day.
I don't trust security guards, do you.

state because I know that there are some that are
very good that are the requirements for security guards, though,
are not quite as high as there are for police officers.
But I mean, I'll be honest. I actually rolled up

on a police officer a sleep in his car a

later he was awake.

But who's more likely to be willing to run towards
the fire gunfire or security guard or a cop?

I would think a police officer. But I know some
fine security officers police who really, really, really care about
their job. But police officers have much higher training. Security
guards only have to go through. I don't remember the

required amount of time for security guards, but I think
to be a level for security where they can actually
carry a gun, I think it's far less than a
month of training.

officers do have to have the psychological exam, just what

was a powerful video of him talking. He was very
much anti gun, but I believe he had the chance

even if he's anti gun. So don't you think that

training and doing the background of the psychological on staff
members would be just as powerful and good if they're
trained properly to in these situations because they know the children,
they love them, and they would die for them in

member is willing to get trained, right, there are some

do with that, But there are some, and I know
that some of our schools do offer and allow their

areas there's something, because something there at the school to
protect them, because it can take thirty minutes for somebody
to get there, and.

lot cheaper to train faculty. And by the way, they're
happening in the burbs too, and they need to be
in the burbs in the inner City. Isn't it a

be able to do that and to carry the weapon

of this week's Annunciation Church school shooting in Minneapolis are
