behind Donald Trump, who'll accept thenomination on Thursday night. We're very,

is motivations were. Here's what weknow about him. So twenty years old.
He small town kid here, aswe can tell from reports from all
of his classmates, he was kindof an odd duck loner, bullied quite
a bit. Sound familiar, familiarstory. Well, yeah, that's the

one they always toss out there.Sure sympathy. He was bullied. Don't
know much about it, was bullied. Don't know much about his political affiliations.
He made a he suppocially registered asa Republican. That means nothing,
by the way, he may havedone its leap state. He registered in
the state of Pennsylvania, which allowedhim to vote in the Republican primary.
Yeah, so that you're sure ofbeing encouraged to do that. Sure,

they were more important? Was hemade that political contribution on the day that
Joe Biden was inaugurated to a veryprogressive group, Yeah, right through Act
Blue? Right. Now, Whyhe was motivated to do what he did,
Why the secret service situation was theway it was. We'll bring about
a lot of questions. It's amazingto me share how many conspiracies theories were

flying over the weekend. You know, the wildest conspiracy theory I heard that
was actually being floated. Oh,I think that maybe the Trump campaign arranged
for this so he could get sympathyand you know, it would be good
for his election chances. I don'tlike to call them conspiracy theories because crackpots,
because too many times conspiracy theories haveproven out to be true. Yeah.

Now, one the crackpot theory.Yeah, that's a good point.
That's a crackpot. Now conspiracy theorythat I would think about this morning is
you know whether or not this administrationpurposely did not give the Trump campaign enough
resources to protect him. Number oneand number two, how it was that

we had a perimeter within one hundredand fifty yards of that stage where you
had a building, an elevated building, so he could get up on it.
Was a clear line of site,wasn't being guarded, clear line of
site wasn't being guarded. No dronein the air, Nope. The counter
snipers had the guy in his sites, but apparently didn't fire until after he
fired a police officer who approached himup the ladder on a local police officer,

and when alleged supposedly the sniper turnedto I mean the shooter turned around
and pointed his rifle at that policeofficer. He withdrew. I would have
to say, there's just so manyYep, there's a lot about this case
that needs to be investigated. Idon't know if anything ever comes of it,
though. You know, the oneperson who might be able to tell
you something is the twenty year oldwho's doing the shooting. And of course

he's been eliminated. He's gone.We don't have to worry about him anymore.

Pennsylvania. What do you make ofthe attempt of the Secret Service to protect
the president? Was this a cataclysmicfailure? Well, look for a guy
to get on the roof of therifle at a high altitude of direct sight

to the president. Yeah, thatwas a fail. That was a fail.
But as I said on the networkseveral times yesterday, the presidents the
presidents Security team is his detail.We're fabulous. I've been on that stage
many times in the president I spokeon that podium, and I know how

things operating. No one's on thestage for the president at each in the
stage, there's there're set of stairsand as usually an agent or two at
that on each of those stairs andthere's agents in the front of the stage.
As soon as the shots rang out, these agents got up those stairs,
across that big stage and over thePresident in a matter of two to

three seconds. I think we shouldgive some credit to Donald Trump too,
because he took himself down. Yeah, that's where he's he's that's what he's
trained to do it. Yeah,he's trained to do that. They tell
him that there's there's security features inthat body that vody of travels with him.
There are security features on stage thatkeep him protected once he's down to
me. Yeah, yeah, consideringthe stress and you know, the surprise,

his detail. Who I personally knowmany of these men and women my first
name because I'm with him a lac. They did fabulous. They got over
that president's seconds. Then you know, I was getting you know, then
people say, well it took toolong to get them off stage. Well,
you got to understand, he justgot he just got jumped on by

four adult men somber one. Wedon't know if President got wind ACKed out
of them, and you know,a little bit of shock. But then
people don't understand all these guys haveyour pieces on. They're listening to command.
I'm sure the inciant commander's telling themstay down. Were scanning for other
shooters. They want to make surethere's no other shooters for their move off
fest tame. You can hear theydon't know if they don't know if they
escaped Carras in place yet they gotto pull that in. So there's other

things going on. But I thinkthat I think that his detail, his
men and women, were fabulous.What about the assets that the Trump hand
pain has been given. There's beena lot of talk that they're training this
like any other former president, likea Jimmy Carter, for example, or

out and active and it rallies withthirty forty fifty thousand people or more.

Service has for the current president ofthe United States. Why weren't some of

Oversight, which Secret Service falls withinI was actually trading with phone calls in

yesterday. He's actually going to runthe investigation, and he's asking us questions
what exact access were available to PresidentTrump? What should you have more?
What are you base on those numberof assets? On? What's the criteria?
So there's gonna be a deep guyof investigation on what President Trump was,
what he had, and what heshould have had. Can I ask
you, do you know that thatthe snipers, the counter snipers, they

had the sniper trained in their size, they did not fire until he fired.
Were they on a stand down?Do they have to wait? Do
these counter snipers when they see somebodywith a gun, can't they not just
take that site, that target outor they have to wait for the clearance
to do this? You they cantake them out. As far as my

understanding, the problem is again wegot away for investigations come up. But
the people I talked to are thereare claiming that the snipers, the Secret
Service pipers, did not key onhim until the last minute. No one
knew he was there. You know, so you know when you're sniper,

now maybe they took their eyes offthat rifts are scanning, the other
roofs are scanning the crowd. Whoknows, But again I fail right,
Uh, my personal opinion during theduring the when when they first screen that
entire area for this rally, oncethey identified those high points, it should
have been secured. Once they realizedthe say okay, everybody's secured, everything

has been screened, we're ready togo. So even local law enforces,
somebody should have been on those buildingsto make sure no one climbs up and

climbed up so subvesing scene that reportedit right there for the shooting. Sure

seven forty KTRH. Our top storythis hour, the assassination attempt on former
President Donald Trump now expanded into aninvestigation as an act of domestic terrorism.

Fox at CEB Cotton in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, where investigators reportedly found explosives
at the home where the twenty yearold assassin lived with his parents. Some
very alarming discoveries inside that home.We're told those have already been shipped out
to the FBI's lab in Quantico.But my law enforcement sources are telling me
the focus is now shifting to gainingaccess into the shooter's phone. I'm told

that federal agents will not feel confidentin their assessment that the shooter acted alone,
and told they're able to go inthat phone and see who he was
communicating with. Now, that assassin'svolley of bullets struck not just Trump but
his supporters in the stands behind thewounded president. Retired firefighter Chief Corey Comparatore

was killed protecting his family, shieldingthem from the bullets. Two other supporters
critically injured. The nephew of TexasCongressman doctor Ronnie Jackson was grazed in the
neck with one of the passing bullets. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas now under
fire. Did he actually deny additionalsecurity requests that were coming from the former

president? Florida Representative Mike Wallace sayshe has reliable sources telling him that the
Trump team has made repeated requests forstronger security, denied by majorcas and dhs.
The left, of course, fuelingthe fire of whatever anger might be

towards Donald Trump. Days just beforethe assassination attempt on the former president,
the former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wasamong many. She took to social media
telling followers a quote, Trump mustbe stopped. Donald Trump nonetheless has traveled
to Milwaukee. He did it yesterday, keeping the Republican National Convention on schedule

there. The Milwaukee Police Department ChiefJeffrey Norman says, well, his city
is prepared. We are planning asmuch as we can plan regards of what
we know, and we're looking forwhat we don't know. But we are
planned and actually ready with the resources. Yeah. Donald Trump said, I
cannot allow a shooter or potential assassinto change the schedule of the RNC,

But he did tell a reporter whilehe was in flight to Milwaukee he is

than the and most people never knewthat. Most people never knew that
