Speaker 1 (00:00):
Six, twenty three is our time here in Houston's Born
of News. Robert del Monte joins us he's a border
security expert. I don't know what to start with when
it comes to this story, but let's talk start with FEMA,
I guess, Robert, and reportedly taking funds from border security
to advanced open border policies the Democrats. This administration has
been very good at shifting money around, hasn't it.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Oh yeah, this is nothing new, and quite frankly, as
bad as this news there, as alarming as it news,
it does not surprise me. This is something that's been
going on, and you know, they're doing anything to you know,
just bring people into our country. And what's really alarming

(00:46):
is they don't care who some of these people are.
We got some dangerous terrorists coming in. We've got some
dangerous gang members from Venezuela that can end it our
WG ganglar killing people over here, calling all kinds of harms.
So that's that as it is that it really doesn't
surprise me.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
I think we've been talking about this since twenty sixteen.
You know, it's been eight years trying to sound the
alarm about all of this, and yet not only now
we're still doing having to do the same thing. You know,
when does it end or is it just so incredibly
corrupt at all levels that there's no way just stop it?

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Well, it is frustrating, There's no doubt about it. It
is frustrating. And what it's going to take is people
like you and I and all your listeners to demand change.
That's the only way things are going to change. Demand
change and do the best we can to try to
get the best people in office, and you like to write,

(01:48):
people that are going to make decisions and the best
interests of United States citizens. And quite frankly, I don't
know what else to say. I don't know what the
what he answered Rivi is other than that.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
I don't know if you saw any the interview on
Fox last night with Brett Baer and Kamala Harris, and
she got asked right up front just to just to
you know, ballpark, how many immigrants, illegal immigrants they've allowed
into the country. She wouldn't even she couldn't even try
to fow the number. And my guess is the number
is so damn high she's afraid to say anything.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
That's exactly right. Nobody really knows and you know, and
I've been paying for a long time, and I've said
it on this radio show, is that even if we
were to secure the border and make sure that you know,
no bad people are coming in and people are not
entering illegally the ones that are coming in or coming
in legally, even if we were to do that today,

(02:45):
I'm sad to say, but it would be too little,
too late, because the damage has already been done. So
that's why I think we need to focus on some
national effort to go after the worst of the worst,
those that we know are here or have come into
our country illegally, that are really dangerous criminals. We need

(03:06):
to get them off the streets as quickly as possible.
And I'm just saying, well, let's just go after all
the all the people that are here illegally and and
and get them out. I don't think that's a good idea.
I think we need to focus on on the worst
of the worst birth and the work our way down.
But they've been saying, situat.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Ahead, Robert, we just about out of time. They've been
saying that a lot of illegals would be self deporting
when they find out that they can't get the job,
so they don't get the welfare that they put a
block on them being able to send any money back
home to their native I mean, do you see a
self deportation happening if you start rounding up the worst
of the worst and deporting them.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
No, not at all. That's laughable. They're not going to leave.
I mean, even with not getting jobs here, they're going
to find some kind of job with a private citizens
They're they're they're not going to self deport I tell
you that they went through a lot of able to
get here. They're let's face that, they're in the greatest
country of the world. Where would they want to leave it?

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Well, because maybe it won't be the greatest country in
the world if we keep going in this direction. Robert,
thank you, appreciate it. Robert del Monte, border security expert,
