Speaker 1 (00:00):
Robert Elmonte is a former US Marshall joining us with
some reaction to this.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Robert, good morning, How arey, sir?

Speaker 3 (00:07):
He recorded?

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Oh hello, it looks like me. Yeah. Yeah, longer being recorded. Okay,
can you hear me? Okay, sir, yeah, I got you.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Sorry about that. I don't know what happened over here
on my end.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
No worries, no worries. So let's so let's talk about this.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
So the immigration judges are not even just immigration judges,
just federal district court judges, are making it almost impossible
for President Trump to do what he ran on and
won uh in the Democratic vote, and that is to
stage the largest deportation in American history, which of course
is necessary, but they're not letting letting it happen.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
What sort of prescription do you have?

Speaker 1 (00:45):
And what do you make of the idea of charging
anybody that employees in the legal alien to keep them
on their payrolls.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Yeah? Well, let me let me first start off by
saying that, well, what's going on on with all these
injunctions is strictly political, There's no doubt about it. You know,
previous administrations have deported millions of migrants that were here illegally,

(01:16):
and President Trump has tried to deport about one hundred
thousand migrants, and there have been so many injunctions that
are being put up by the federal courts. And these
federal judges are Democratic appointees, so they're doing anything they

(01:37):
can to hurt President Trump. They're putting politics above the
safety of the American people because a lot of these
migrants that were here and are here are dangerous criminals
and they have committed some horrible crimes up to and
including murder. So this is strictly political now. I think, yeah,

(02:01):
what needs to be done is they need to put
things in space, like fines for people that are hiring
these people that are here illegally. But I think we
need to go above and beyond that. What happened is
we need to look at why all these migrants came
over here. Well, first of all, we had not have

(02:23):
we had an open border, so millions of migrants came
to the United States. Unfortunately a lot of them were
dangerous criminals, gang members, Frendi Adawa gang members, MS thirteen
gang members, and full blown terrorists from the Middle East.
But what happened these sanctuary cities in state for example,

(02:45):
in New York was giving them free money, handing out
free money to them and also providing logging to them
at several different hotels in New York City. So all
that did was encourage more migrant to come to the
United States. So yeah, I think things need to be

(03:05):
in place, such as implementing buying for people, especially companies
corporation company that are hiring these people that are here illegally.
I think that that'll help, that'll be a deterrent. But
I think what has helped tremendously is the difference in

(03:25):
what's going on in our Southwest border. I mean, we
went from a floodgate being open to now a trickle
of migrants coming into our country.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
I think the number was ninety nine and a half
percent or something like that, fewer crossings in this month
compared to the same month one year ago.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
So you're exactly right, it is a trickle.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
But nonetheless, it's not so much about stopping those from
coming in now because that has been brought under control.
It's about doing the deportation, getting the illegals out of here,
not just the criminal aliens. And so it appears, you know,
and the fenneral reverence doing everything they can. DHS Christy
Noman and Tom Holman and President Trump, they're doing everything
they can to make self deportation easy. They repurposed or

(04:09):
reverse engineer the CBP one app to parole people into
the country to confirm that people have deported out of
the country. And once we get that confirmation using that app,
then you can get in line to try to get
back in in a legal basis. So self deportations is
really probably the best tool I would I would guess
that we have going right now.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Do you agree, Oh, yeah, absolutely that that was really
a great idea, and people are using it. I mean
they're they're realizing that, you know, it's not going to
be in their best interest is try to try to
stay in our country illegally. So I'm hoping they take
advantage of that, and some are and go back to

(04:47):
their country. They want to come back to the United States,
and they need to get in line and do it
legally like so many other people have done so over
the years, over decade, coming here illegally and to live
the American dream. There's no doubt about it.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Well, it can certainly help encourage them to self deport
if there's no job waiting for them here, and that's
the idea. Here are twenty five thousand dollars fine, perhaps
for every illegal alien that is hired knowingly by some
of these faceless corporations. We have to make sure that
they pay a price. And if they dry up the jobs,
then the self deportation should pick up speed very very quickly.

(05:28):
Former US Marshall Robert Almonte, Sir, thanks so much for
