Speaker 1 (00:00):
So the tale told by congressional Democrats is we need
to be a welcoming country. We need to welcome all
of these people who are suffering and struggling in their persecution,
they facing their home countries, and that's the reason why
the border was left wide open the way that it was.
Now we know the truth now. The clip that I
just played from a Democratic representative e That Clark from
New York isn't current. It's from twenty twenty one, but

(00:21):
it doesn't matter because that is exactly when all of
that stuff started, or at least was at its peak.
And joining us now to react is Steve Abramowitz, political analyst,
the host of the Heartland Journal podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Steve, good morning, Good morning. How are you.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
We're great, Thank you. I appreciate you coming on this morning.
Give us your thoughts. What did you first think of
when you heard that clip that is resurfaced now from
a Democrat admitting we need more people in my district
for the purposes of redistricting and keeping my seat in Congress.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
I've been following it for twenty five almost thirty years,
because I'm from California and Seattle or this has been
going on like the Bible basically, and they finally say
the secret parts out loud. I mean, Jasmine Crockett just
today said you're going to use dark money to win
the mid terms, and we know Act Blue is on
pace to raise about two billion dollars. So it's just

(01:11):
their strategy because they can't win with normal debate and
policy at the ballot bount.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
So what should be the reaction from Congress and what
should be the reaction from the voters? You know, hearing
somebody actually say it, you know, plainly like that, that
we are trying to bring more people in so that
we can protect and preserve not only the seats that
we have, but as you born out in California over
the years, trying to get more congressional seats, more representation.
Because of the flaw in our census.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Bungers can do anything because they're on vacation for six weeks.
I mean, these guys are completely useless in my mind.
I mean, the way it works is look at suburban Chicago, Okay,
fifty four percent of the state's undocumented population lives there,
compared to thirty six for the whole state. They live
in the city. Fifteen percent of the city's population and

(02:00):
of five hundred and eleven thousand people. So Brandon Johnson
is a mayor of Chicago, destroyed that place, the blue city,
sanctuary city, and he lost the general election by eleven points,
but somehow he won the runoff by twenty six thousand votes.
That's four percent. So a socialist can't win a fair
and square election anywhere in America. But somehow, hypothetically to

(02:23):
be found far percent of a one point eight one
million adults in Illinois with the you know, fifteen percent undocumented,
that's two hundred and seventy one thousand people. So boom
flipped it. That's how they did it in Seattle. That's
how they do it in California. That's how they do
it nationwide. Now, because the Republicans are on vacation for six.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Weeks, Steve great point, by the way, they do need
to be there all the time. I don't understand. I
don't know anybody else's job gets to take six paid
weeks off in the middle of the year. But there
it is. What can they do if they were in
if they were in session, what can they do? What
would it take to change the rule with respect to
congressional representation? To reflect only citizens counted in the census,

(03:04):
not just persons.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
So I live in Tennessee. My Senator Hagridy has proposed
a bill that says only citizens, not headcount, would be
counted in the census. But it failed because one hundred
percent of the Democrats voted no and one hundred percent
of the Republicans who decided to show up said yes,
obviously showing who really wants this not to happen. So

(03:27):
it's the game SINCEUS twenty thirty is the whole thing
they're all in. It's not headcount. I'm sorry. It is headcount.
It's not citizenship unless they change it. They must. Each
time a law comes up THEMS voted down. Republicans seem
to stay that they tried, but it doesn't actually work,
and so the flood to the blue sanctuary cities is
keep sending THEMS. That's what Tom Holman is trying to do,

(03:49):
get them out of there, trying to get the numbers down.
California could lose three to five congressional seats New York three,
Illinois two. That's ten. That's a big deal. Back in DC.
My state of Tennessee could add one or two. That's good.
We're a red state. So that's why they want to
go all out on redistriby team to make odd shaped

(04:10):
Paisley and squiggly and crazy voter line to get every
vote they can. And Tom fit in the Judicial Watch,
he keeps winning, getting millions of dead folks off, so
they don't have that graveyard vote anymore. They need the
illegal headcount vote or else they die. And that's what
that woman said out loud, which is kind of silly.
Should really be telling your strategy. But Trump needs the

(04:33):
counter it. But he needs help Republicans, especially in Texas,
which is that's the holy grail, that is the game.
If somehow they turn that thing blue, America is blue.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
That's exactly right. And that's why it's so important for
Tom Holman, who has said he wants to pick up
the pace very very considerably of deportations. If we can't
get it done legislatively, we're going to have to get
it done with manpower and round up and indeed carry
out the greatest and largest deportation in American history, which
was the Pledge and the Mandate. Steve Abramowitz, political analyst,

(05:05):
host of The Heartland Journal podcast. Steve, thanks, for the
great news peace time, rather the great analysis of bad news.
How about that that's a better way to say thank you,
Steve all Right,
