wins the governorship. In Virginia, Jay Jones won the ag
race there despite those texts where he openly fantasized about
killing political opponents. And in California, Prop fifty revenge against Texas,
a bill to redraw that state's congressional maps also passed.

Governor Gavin Newsom, President Trump, reacting to all of this

it's not just liberal counties that you, as a homeowner
have to worry about. Its special purpose districts as well.

These special taxing jurisdictions have been growing in number for years.

Emergency services districts, municipal utility districts said, does water services.
They also can do roads, tacking, go on forever. There's
a huge list.

State Senator Paul Bettencourt says these districts are a bigger
part of your bill thanks to reductions in other taxes.

As you make progress in one area that you started
getting to the smaller portions of the tax bill to
look at.

He also says changes in municipal annexation laws have played
a role in the rising number of special purpose districts.

the Texas law requiring the Ten Commandments be displayed in
public school classrooms.

is complying with orders from a pair of federal judges.
The benefits cost taxpayers roughly eight billion dollars every month.
Beth Brollia of the Federalist says illegals that are not
eligible still get them if they have a child born

And twenty five dollars a week to SNAP. All children
who come from households that receive SNAP are eligible for
free launch and usually free breakfast, so mom and dad
really only have to pay for dinner and snack.

Seventeen percent of illegal alien households get SNAP benefits. Meantime,
the Democrats still want to flood the country with illegal aliens.

broken system.

All right. Thievery is a major problem in our country,
so much so that Walmart and Dollar General are removing
nine thousand self checkouts, nine thousand self checkouts because people

are cheating, they're switching tags, or they're not running everything
through the through the self checkout. They they're they're ripping
walbart In Dollar General off, they're ripping them off blind.
So in an effort to try to it finally got
to the point, I guess for some of these retailers

where it was less expensive to pay people to be cashiers,
that is, to continue to lose millions of dollars worth
of merchandise to people who have absolutely no guilt evidently
about stealing. We have a morality problem. We have a
morality issue in our country where people don't think that

people think that it's all about them, that they deserve
to have whatever they deserve, and if they can't afford
to have it, then they should just take it. And
there's plenty of people like that. Now. The question is
how do you solve the problem. And that's where the
retailers are having a difficult time. You know, they have
to try to make a living too, so they're trying

to figure out how do we keep from losing so
much in merchandise? Do we lock it up behind plexiglass
Because the honest customers, they don't like having to get
help every time they want to get something. And by
the way, they aren't just locking a baby formula these days,
or cameras or things like that, cell phones. They're locking
up a lot of things that people steal. I'm surprised

the toilet paper is not locked up for what they
want for toilet paper at the grocery store. I'm surprised
that's not behind plexiglass at this point. Maybe at some
point it's going to be. So here's my question of
the day. How do we solve the problem. Let's help
the retailers solve the problem. This is, by the way,
it's gonna be very difficult to solve. I know that
right up front. But if you were in charge, how

would you handle shoplifting? How would you get a handle
on the problem? I know, prosecute people right, prosecute them
to the fullest extent of the law. Well, then you
have to go into the judicial system. You have to
depend on a judge finally saying you know what, this
is the tenth time this week. If you've been brought
in here for stealing stuff, we're going to have to
put you in jail for a little while to teach

you a lesson. We know that we don't operate on
that kind of a system. It's hard enough to get
the police interested in arresting a shoplifter. They know what's
going to happen when they go to court. So the
problem is not probably going to be solved with the
court system. How do we how do we solve the problem.
I'm looking for some out of the box ideas. Go

at they all lost, but why did they all lose?
