All right, Well, let's get right to it. Five o
one on KTRH, our top story this hour.

The brief is off in my garage, all in the
back is falling.

Speaker 8 (01:48):
The in I've got proof and my damage to my
roof and uh but the good in my backyard, like
I say, everything is just gone.

Speaker 7 (01:55):
That woman with our TV partner channel to the National
Weather Service will be on the ground looking at damage
from that twister that touchdown yesterday. It damaged about one
hundred homes in the area, knocking out power for thousands,
causing a gas leak as well. Fortunately the leak was
kept and amazingly, there were no reports of any injuries.
The storm did a number on travel yesterday. Hundreds of

flights were delayed. This morning a much better picture, only
nineteen delays at Bush five at Hobbies so far. However,
those numbers could get bigger. Today is expected to be
one of the busiest days of the travel year.

There will be fifty two thousand flights as Americans board
aircraft fly across the country.

Speaker 7 (02:38):
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, it's now five ZHO two more
violent crime in Houston HPD looking for a teenager and
a double murder that took place earlier this month. Isaiahs
Armando cos Zoul is facing capital murder charges. Some liberal
das in the Lone Star State, for some reason, are
prosecuting cops for doing their job. But when these cases

go to trial, the juries are backing the blue.

These crazy or weak indictments that they're bringing against these
officers are not being supported.

Robert Leonard with the Combined Law Enforcement Association of Texas.
There he says, three former San Antonio cops were found
not guilty of murder for shooting an armed woman that
happened last week. And in Austin there was a mistrial
in the case of a cop who shot a man
with a rifle who refused to obeate commands. Meantime, President
Trump's crime crackdown is working.

In Memphis.

Speaker 7 (03:34):
Murders have dropped forty eight percent, sexual assaults are down
forty nine percent. Robberies dropped sixty one percent. All of
this in just fifty six days.

We know this is going to be a long term effort.
Senator Marshall Blackburn.

There coming up on five zero four, federal judge throws
out the criminal cases against former FBI director James Comy
and New York State Attorney General Tish James. US Attorney
General pambunt. He says this isn't dover.

We'll be taking all available legal action, including an immediate
appeal to hold Letitia James and James Comey accountable for
their unlawful conduct.

Speaker 7 (04:13):
This was a Clinton appointed judge involved in this case.
By the way, the Pentagon could court martiall former Navy
pilot and Arizona Senator the Democrat Mark Kelly, after he
joined five other Dems in the video calling for troops
to defy what they called the illegal orders.

They were leaning into that experience to try and give
a wink and a nod to the one point three
million active duty service members who serve in our United
States Armed Forces and essentially encourage them to defy the
orders of their commander in.

Speaker 7 (04:45):
Chief, White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt on Fox and
another shady Democrat scheme, the leader of the squad is
caught with her hands in the proverbial cookie.

Jar, Congresswoman Alexandria Acossio Cortes using her annual Turkey Drive
charity effort to route donors to the Democrats campaign website.
Texas Attorney in congressional candidate Daniel Betts says, AOC is
walking a legal and ethical line.

It's not technically illegal, so I don't think that there's
a criminal offense here. But regardless, this is the type
of thing that undermines confidence in our politicians and takes
advantage of people's charity.

It's a bad look for sure, and she's not required
to report how much money actually goes to Turkey's and
how much goes to her own campaign.

The fate of Texas's new congressional maps are now in
the hands of the US Supreme Court. This is similar
to what happened a couple of years ago in the
Galveston redistricting case.

Judge Smith, who issued the descent in this case, extremely
familiar with this issue, very much involved in our case,
and I'm sure that the Supreme Court has already read
his descent.

Speaker 7 (05:55):
County Judge Mark Henry says he expects the High Court
to uphold the state's new map. In the meantime, California
continues to try and counter Texas with its own form
of Jerry Mandarin.

Speaker 15 (06:07):
And Matt Kittle, senior elections correspondent with The Federalist, says
the new California map is going to fail.

There's a difference here. This is not just a Jerry mander.
This is very much a racially drawn map.

diving into. Yeah, a judge if you can call these
people judges, the activists, the left wing activists who are
wearing robes and pretending to be a part of the
judicial process.

Throughout the indictments of Komy and Letitia James, not because
of the merits, which is kind of important, Not because
of the merits of the cases against them, but because
of the what's the word, the validity, if you will,
of the appointment of the individual who brought to charges.
It's just bizarre, the things, the hoops that they will

jump through. There is no depths to which they will
not stoop to try to stop the Trump administration from
just about everything, including the implementation of justice against people
who have been breaking the law. You heard a little
bit from Caroline Levitt in the newscast. Here's a little more.

What's White House response to that?

And what can we expect will happen next.

Caroline, Well, what I will say is that everybody knows
that James Comy lied to Congress. It's as clear as day,
and this judge took an unprecedented action to throw these
cases out to shield James Comy and Letitia James from
accountability based on a technical ruling, and the administration disagrees
with that technical ruling. We believe the attorney in this case,

Lindsay Halligan, is not only extremely qualified for this position,
but she was in fact legally appointed, and.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
That's the key lawful appointment. She was lawfully appointed. That
means she's allowed to bring the charges. It was ridiculous
that they would possibly try to stop these cases from
going forward over something is ludicrous. Pam Bondi said, bring it.

Speaker 10 (09:31):
Sure, We'll be taking all available legal action, including an
immediate appeal, to hold Letitia James and James Comy accountable
for their unlawful conduct.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
You know, it's a pretty popular internet phrase and you
may even see it on some T shirts and some
bumper stickers when you see FAFO.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
The Democrats love the FA part.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
They are really really opponents of the FO part, and
that's the reality of it. They like to mess around,
they don't like to find out what the content sequences
are and when they come, oh, they cry and they
say this person can't do that, this person can't bring
these charges.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
They don't like accountability.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
And I think ultimately a very broad brush stroke here
I'm about to make, But ultimately that's a big difference
between the two ideologies. I don't know if I'll necessarily
say the parties, but the left wing ideology and the
conservative ideology. We're big on the fo We want to
hold people accountable, even if they are our own. The
left just simply does not like to do that. And

brit Hume is among those who says Komi is going
to find out one way or the other.

Well, I think the White House is right in saying
that this is a technicality. The judge did not rule
on the marriage in any way. He did not say
that the charges were legally deficient. What they said was
that the wrong person brought them someone who should not
have been in a position to do that.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
And if that's what they're going to hang their hat on, honestly,
technicalities rather than reliability of the law and the facts
of the case, they're going to lose again and again again.

If James Comy may be a preaming like a peacock
this morning. This will be a short lived victory lap

one of these stories where it's like, why is this
a story? And I don't know the answer to the
question to be truthful. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy, he's
got a lot of things to worry about. Obviously, he's
got to worry about staffing, air traffic control, he's got
to worry about getting TSA right, and a million other things.

He's worried about pajamas, and I got to say, I
agree with them.

Some of you might have noticed that we've launched a
civility campaign, and I think it's important as as we travel, uh,
that we think about not just ourselves, not just our families,

the airports are gonna be packed, uh TSA lines maybe
a little longer, and as you're you might not be

able to find a seat as you're buy your gate
because of the number of flights that are are going.

But I think we have to think about how do
we do a better job. How do we you know,
maintain maybe some of that frustration we have as we
travel this Thanksgiving season. Maybe we should say please and

maybe dressing with some respect. Uh, you know, whether it's

a pair of jeans and a and a and a
decent shirt, I would encourage people to maybe dress a
little better, which encourage us, encourages us to maybe behave
all a little better, let's try not to wear slippers
and in pajamas as we come to the airport. I
think that's positive.

I would like to know this, and I'm asking very
seriously without judgment, even though I know I just said
I agree with Duffy. Stop dressing in pajamas in public,
especially if you're going to the airport and you're about
to sit next to somebody else and you're wearing a

and them. Why people have to do this? And I'm asking,
very seriously, without judgment, what is the reason? Because I
cannot go to a store and I don't care if
it's a if it's a Walmart or a Target, a grocery, whatever,
without seeing people wearing pajamas and oftentimes pajama bottoms usually
and oftentimes slippers.

I'd like to know what this weird obsession is with
going out in public in your sleep clothes. I mean,
what is the statement is it? I'm just so chill,

don't even need to get dressed. I just rolled out
of bed and I just headed out to do my
thing because I'm just I'm just chill like that is that?
And I really don't know why would people be obsessed

grown up clothes outside in public clothes. It's their sleep clothes.
That's odd. They do it in groups. You'll see a

group of of oftentimes young girls, not always, but but
oftentimes young girls. And it's not an accident. They all said,
let's put on our pajamas and go shopping. You'll see
it at malls. You'll see it at indoor and outdoor malls.
You'll see it at groceries. And like I said, I'm
just trying to figure out what is the statement? What

is the statement? You know you're wearing you're wearing sweats
are different And even though some people might say are
sleep and marshalwats, those are my pajamas because guess what,
that's me, But those are acceptable outside attire. They're not
sleep clothes. You're using regular clothes to sleep in. It
doesn't mean you should use sleep clothes to go do
regular things in. Especially when's the last time you flew?

When's last time you flew? Picture the width of that
little tiny seat that they squeeze you into, and how
close you are to the person next to you. Your
knees are touching, your elbows are touching. Probably you're fighting
for that arm rest, you know, whether you know you
definitely want to keep that down. And if the person
next to you is wearing their pajamas, it's just awkward.

Or Am I the oddball here? I don't think so,
because we have been wearing sleep clothes for sleep and
outside clothes for outside public, clothes for public for pretty
much ever. So I don't think I'm the out ball here.
