this morning, the White House tells sanctuary cities basically too
damn bad redistricting. It's on the Texas House Agenda today
and coming up at five o eight. You've heard of
fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, shrimp scampy. How about radio active shrimp?

look because weather rate. Of course, I've just got this

up on my screen. I know we'll get a real

The Southwest Freeway looks like a few showers might be
slowing you down. What really slows down on the Southwest

is he'll crop they've got some roadwork We're down to
two lines. That's some overnight leftovers. I hope they picked
this up. We'll keep an eye on that and for
now the rest of the freeways. Although I would like

But what they don't tell you is that blue states
also restrict voting by mail.

do and you don't hear krabs complaining about those policies
in those states because they safely hold those states.

Former Texas GOP chair Matt Rinaldi says Democrats only want
universal mail in voting in purple or red states because
it's easier to cheat. New polling on next year's Texas
Senate primary is out in the Democrat front runner is
somebody who hasn't even announced he's running yet, Beato O'Rourke.

Not that they don't believe all red will win, but
I think that they believe his chances would be better
or worse. Got to become a candidate. Already is a
candidate at some point. You got to get in a
race if you want to win it.

with a five point lead on incumbent Republican Senator John Cornyn.
Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick makes his twenty twenty six
plans official yesterday.

All those would be opponents out there. Dan's in. He's
in it to win it as always.

Running for a fourth term as Texas's Lieutenant governor. Five
h five, the State House gavels back in at ten
o'clock with more action could possibly be taken on redistricting
despite the histrionics of the left.

You guys are trying to implement racist practices with these racist.

Maps, right, Congressman Jasmine Crockett with the broken record there. Meantime,
President Trump has urged the legislature to pass the new map,
and that could happen by the end of the week.
The state Capitol was evacuated last night due to a
social media threat. Now State rep Democrat Nicole Collier claimed
it was against lawmakers. Of course, she spent two nights

at the Capitol because she didn't agree to her DPS
escort to make sure she showed up to work. Now,
she said it was a spur of the moment thing,
but sure looks like she had plenty of supplies for
a long stay. Elsewhere, the Senate passed the Women's Privacy
Act to keep men out of women's private spaces.

State Senator maysed Middleton's bill allows for fines and even
civil lawsuits. Five Zho six. Looking at your money, China,
He's backed into a corner. Is President Trump's American manufacturing
resurgence begins.

The tariffs are driving trillions in new American investments, which
is bad news for China.

A large segment of their economy, probably about ten percent.
It's dependent on selling goods they make in China into
the US.

Economist Michael Bussler says China will struggle to sell their
products when American production lifts off, and it would stop
the Chinese in their tracks.

This will severely limit China's ability to grow and expand
in the future.

Overnight trading is down slightly across the board. S and

know the way Democrats said they would, at least for now.

for tarifs, which should be protection of key industries and
raising revenue so our taxes can be lower.

This is not normal to have radio active contamination in
frozen shrimp, but this seems to be the case. FDA
recalling frozen shrim sold it to Walmart. These are Walmart
shrimp under the Great Value brand. This is only at
Walmart at least at this point, and it's only certain

raw frozen shrimp products met processed by an Indonesian company. Yeah,
I know you probably thought that shrimp came from the golf, right.
It's amazing how much of the shrimp we eat in
this country. It comes from other countries, especially from that
part of the world, Indonesia and that part of the world.
In fact, I've asked a few restaurants from time to time, Hey,

they have shrimp on the menu. Your menu says golf shrimp.
Are you sure that shrimp came from the Gulf of America?
And of course you know, the wait staff doesn't know
where it came from. Other people who really know for
sure are the cooks, I would imagine, and obviously the
ownership that they'll know where the shrimp came from. But

many times they advertised golf shrimp and it didn't come
from the Gulf of America. Anyway, back to the Walmart shrimp,
where were these recalled shrip sold? Oh, thirteen states including Texas,
so you may have some of it in your freezer.
So you may want to check and see do you

Those are the ones that are subject to the recall

I don't know how how widespread the contamination is or
where the contamination came from. Last time I checked. Indonesia
doesn't have a nuclear power plant or anything. So where
how did these shrimp get contaminated? Unless maybe it was
in some sort of container they came from Ioto, Russia

get your wages, garnish for child support and it goes
to the state and the state processes it and gets

they've fallen way behind. They put some sort of new
system in and the new system isn't working very well more.

So here's for those of you who are lucky enough
to have never been divorced or be involved in child
custody issues or child support payments or any of that stuff.
Here's a little primer on how that generally works from
a guy who's been through it before. Yes, I have

(15:25):
one divorce under my belt, and it was at a
point in life where my youngest son, Brian, was a
minor and he was going to be a minor for
I think it was two or three more years. So
I owe child support, which I was more than willing

(15:45):
to pay, more than quite honestly happy to pay. I
felt it was my responsibility to pay the child support,
not a problem. But what happened was is that I
began by sending the child support payment directly to Brian's mom,
and then her attorney got involved and decided it'd be
more fun to have my wages garnished, you know, so

(16:08):
that there'd be a middleman now, so the money would
go to the state, and then the state would pay her,
you know. And I'll never forget it, because I was
personally a little bit offended. What you don't trust me
to make the payments, Well, this is what my attorney wants, Okay,
so be it. We'll have a middleman if that's what
you want. And sure enough, the first child support payment,

(16:31):
you know, they started getting garnished from the check went
to the state and on the day was normally I
would pay her. She didn't get a check from the States.
So she calls me up, where's my money? Said, why
are you asking me? Your attorney said that he wanted
my wages garnished. The state has my money. It's not

(16:53):
my fault. You haven't been paid. You wouldn't been paid
by now if you just let me pay you directly.
That's not what your attorney wanted. Anyway. There's some new
software anywhere that's the state is using, evidently, and the
Attorney General's office evidently has not been very transparent as
to why we're having issues with the child support payments.

(17:14):
But here's the report from KPRC two. The Texas Attorney.

General's Office says since they've rolled out this new system,
they've distributed one point five million child support payments, which
told us to more than two hundred and eighty eight
million dollars statewide, but some parents tell us they are
not included in that number.

Now, I'm not here to pick a fight with the state,
but I feel like the state should.

Speaker 5 (17:37):
Do what's right.

Speaker 21 (17:38):
Noah ve Alaskaz said he didn't expect to be on
the news at all. Better yet speaking outs against the States,
but he said, as prices appear to be up on
so many items, every dollar cows, which is why he's
worried about his child support payments being delayed.

I would have to pay to the mother of my
son the money through my job. My employer takes that
money out and sends it to child support. When child
support receiving receives it, they don't distribute.

Speaker 21 (18:06):
It the child support system housing the Texas Attorney General's Office.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
Here's how it works.

Speaker 21 (18:11):
One parent sends payments to the Attorney General's office, which
then distributes it to the other parents. However, those payments
are coming in and some are not going out, and
it's not just Velasquez. One parents told us they have
thirty seven thousand dollars not processed. Another message from a
grandmother who said her daughter has been waiting over two

(18:31):
months to receive her child supports for her four kids.
And there are more stories like this sets to our team.
We shared some of those stories directly with the Attorney
General's office. I send them a message asking if they
could explain what's happening and what are the plans of
resolving it.

So at the end of the day, it's like it's
a state issue.

They need to get on the ball. Well, yeah, they
probably should straighten that out. But again, you know, if
the state was not the middle band, if there wasn't
a metal band involved in this, if we could all
be adults and you know, do the right thing, then
we would have these problems, would we? Five twenty six.

a bargain, because McDonald's is reportedly cutting the price on
combo meals after consumers suffered sticker shock when Big Max
went up to as much as eighteen bucks. Wall Street
Journal says McDonald's corporate spend weeks talking franchises into dropping
the combo prices and struck an agreement to keep the
prices on combo meals fifteen percent below what it would

you're going to need to pass this test before you
can teach.

Yeah, our neighbors in Oklahoma are now requiring teachers moving
from blue states to take a test the idea weed
out radical left ideology in their schools.

Liftists are outraged and claim this violates their rights, but
does it really.

As long as these teachers are being paid by the
state are a school to teach, they are obligated to
comply with their employer's mandate.

Education expert doctor Carrol Haynes called out the radical left
teachers' unions for opposing this.

We know how broadly teachers union, especially the NEA the AFT,
have been pushing all of this into the classroom. They
don't want anything changed.

Haines says, this is a great way to keep the
radical left from indoctrinating students, and Texas should do something similar.

Thank you, Ethan. And the new state law requiring the
Ten Commandments be in every public school classroom in Texas
is supposed to go into effect September first. It's being
challenged in court, though, and Jonathan Shines with Texas Value
says he's confident it will be upheld.

I'm one of many, along with Governor Greg Abbott and
turn General Ken Paxson, that are ready to protect our
Ten Commandments law in every school district and in every
classroom in a lone star state.

So mark my word, we will win this battle of
Biblical proportions.

A ruling is expected before the end of the month,
but the case is likely going to wind up in
the US Supreme Court. It's now five point thirty three.
The state capitol was evacuated last night due to a threat.
It was online and there was nothing to it. Meantime,
radical left protesters are complaining after Nicole Collier, the Democrat
who refused a DPS monitor, was forced to stay in

the House chamber now for two nights.

It's criminal that that's the people's house, and you know,
our tax dollars pay for that capital.

We pay for that place to be.

And that, by the way, was arrested for protesting. She
was talking to San Antonio TV. Collier is now suing
over the move to put Democrats under surveillance in Irony.
They ran away for two weeks and now they won't leave. Meantime,
Republicans in California are suing to block that blue state's
fast tracked redistricting plan, and as the fight moves on

to other states, conservatives say bring it.

Any registrict of warks can be one bet Republicans Foreshore.
Once it dives out of the news cycle, California and
Gavinison will find a way to quietly retreat. I think
they realized the consequences of what this would mean going forward.

probably pick up twenty seats nationally if there is a
full out redistricting war. Five point thirty four. In Washington,
Director of National Intelligence Tulsa Gabbard announces that she has

refused to reference previously because they knew it was substandard
and did not meet the quality and the credibility that
is expected of them as intelligence.

morning news. Right, there's a survey of the top fifty
lowest paid jobs in America. That is number one. Washing
hair is the lowest paid job in America. Now, who
washes hair? Well, it's it's a very select group of people,
it is. I guess technically the job would be called shampoor.

Somebody works at a hair salon but only wash his hair.
It's usually an entry level job when you're trying to
be a stylist. By the way, that pays about thirty
thirty dollars per year. All these that made the top
ten lowest pay jobs in America. He is somewhere between
thirty and thirty four thousand dollars a year. Fast food

cook came in second, and by fast food cook, we're
talking about the people who only work cooking in the kitchen.
They don't ring people up, they don't work to drive through,
they don't talk to the customers, They just cook the food.
Amusement and recreation attendance is that what they call carnies
Now we used to call them carnees. People run the

amusement park rides and concession stands. That's the third lowest
paying job in America, followed by fast food counter workers.
They make a little bit more than the cooks do
because they have to deal with people, and you know,
people can be jerks, ushers. Lobby attendants and ticket takers
at theaters and concert venues came in fifth. Cashiers came

in sixth. You know, once they're working to e g.
Being Kroger and all that kind of stuff. Host and
hostess at a restaurant or coffee shop came in seventh.
Gambling and sports book writers and runners people who helped
facilitate bets at casinos, who run games or run games
like Keno came in eighth. This is sad. Childcare workers

came in ninth lowest paying job in America. That includes
daycare workers, babysitters, and nannies. It's one of the most
important jobs we have probably with most households having both
parents working. I mean, you're entrusting the life of your
child to somebody who's one of the worst paid people
in America. And dishwashers came in number ten of all

of the top ten I did. That was one of
my first jobs when I was still in high school,
was washing dishes at a old folks home, you know.
And that was a busy job. That's that's hard work
keeping those dishes from moving by forty time for traffic
and weather together. What that gender studies degree is paying now?
I think that's where the shampoos all go.

guy gets their haircut ten times per year, that's about

seven years on average. Eighty four percent of men say
