Trump continues his winning agenda on his terms.
Speaker 10 (03:06):
As political commentator Brian June Deeff points out, Trump just
made three big moves without any leaks.
Speaker 11 (03:14):
Without the leaks, Trump is training the narrative. He's announcing things,
and they're happening, and the media has to actually practice journalism.
They can't sabotage it by being ahead.
Speaker 10 (03:24):

But what they don't tell you is that blue states
also restrict voting by mail.
Speaker 12 (03:54):
That's exactly what many Blue states like Delaware, like Connecticut
do and you don't hear krabs complaining about those policies
in those states because they safely hold those states.
Speaker 5 (04:04):
Former Texas GOP chair Matt Rinaldi says Democrats only want
universal mail in voting in purple or red states because
it's easier to cheat. New polling on next year's Texas
Senate primary is out in the Democrat front runner is
somebody who hasn't even announced he's running yet, Beato O'Rourke.
Speaker 13 (04:23):

You guys are trying to implement racist practices with these racist.
Speaker 5 (05:09):
Maps, right, Congressman Jasmine Crockett with the broken record there. Meantime,
President Trump has urged the legislature to pass the new map,
and that could happen by the end of the week.
The state Capitol was evacuated last night due to a
social media threat. Now State rep Democrat Nicole Collier claimed
it was against lawmakers. Of course, she spent two nights
(05:32):
at the Capitol because she didn't agree to her DPS
escort to make sure she showed up to work. Now,
she said it was a spur of the moment thing,
but sure looks like she had plenty of supplies for
a long stay. Elsewhere, the Senate passed the Women's Privacy
Act to keep men out of women's private spaces.
Speaker 3 (05:49):

Speaker 16 (06:04):
The tariffs are driving trillions in new American investments, which
is bad news for China.
Speaker 15 (06:09):
A large segment of their economy, probably about ten percent.
It's dependent on selling goods they make in China into
the US.
Speaker 16 (06:18):
Economist Michael Bussler says China will struggle to sell their
products when American production lifts off, and it would stop
the Chinese in their tracks.
Speaker 15 (06:26):
This will severely limit China's ability to grow and expand
in the future.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
He says.

Overnight trading is down slightly across the board. S and
P Global just reaffirmed its double A plus credit rating
for the US. Translation. Tarrifs have not affected inflation, you
know the way Democrats said they would, at least for now.
Speaker 17 (06:54):
Trump will have to revisit and rejigger the intellectual argument
for tarifs, which should be protection of key industries and
raising revenue so our taxes can be lower.
Speaker 5 (07:05):
That's Kenneth Proposer with the Center for a Prosperous America.

I'm close Saunders on Houston's news, whether in traffic station,
news radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
Direct information. I don't like what's happening shriking in all day.
We have apostle, this is happening in our hometown. It's
always something. Oh As will be use radio seven KTRH. Uh.
I could probably I could probably do the scene from
Forrest gup and just you know, do about fifty other
types of shrimp that you can get. Radioactive shrimps not
(07:47):
on the list, though they don't talk about radioactive shrimp.
This is not normal to have radio active contamination in
frozen shrimp, but this seems to be the case. FDA
recalling frozen shrim sold it to Walmart. These are Walmart
shrimp under the Great Value brand. This is only at
Walmart at least at this point, and it's only certain
(08:11):
raw frozen shrimp products met processed by an Indonesian company. Yeah,
I know you probably thought that shrimp came from the golf, right.
It's amazing how much of the shrimp we eat in
this country. It comes from other countries, especially from that
part of the world, Indonesia and that part of the world.
In fact, I've asked a few restaurants from time to time, Hey,
(08:34):
they have shrimp on the menu. Your menu says golf shrimp.
Are you sure that shrimp came from the Gulf of America?
And of course you know, the wait staff doesn't know
where it came from. Other people who really know for
sure are the cooks, I would imagine, and obviously the
ownership that they'll know where the shrimp came from. But
(08:56):
many times they advertised golf shrimp and it didn't come
from the Gulf of America. Anyway, back to the Walmart shrimp,
where were these recalled shrip sold? Oh, thirteen states including Texas,
so you may have some of it in your freezer.
So you may want to check and see do you
have great value brand frozen raw easy peel tail on
(09:17):
farm raised white venom shrimp. Once again, great value brand
frozen raw easy peel tail on farm raised white venomy
shrimp venomy spelled v A N N A M I.
Those are the ones that are subject to the recall
check and c They are, at least to a certain extent, radioactive.
(09:38):
I don't know how how widespread the contamination is or
where the contamination came from. Last time I checked. Indonesia
doesn't have a nuclear power plant or anything. So where
how did these shrimp get contaminated? Unless maybe it was
in some sort of container they came from Ioto, Russia
or someplace like that. Five ten tie for traffic and
(09:59):
weather together.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
Wonder what radioactive shrimp would do for you though? What
would it cause? What effect would it have? It might
give you X ray vision. You know Terry's a scientist.
She's standing by with her lab coat. You think it
would make like a mutation, like it could mutant, like
just shrimp a mutant industry. It could make me taller,
or straighten my hair, or give me back my memory.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
You know I can remember why I came into the room.
Give you a third eye.
Speaker 4 (10:24):
Oh yeah, well see, I've got my third eye out there.
That's our tip line seven one three two one two tips.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
Brilliant segue there.
Speaker 4 (10:31):
Jimmy, let's go in on the Katie Freeway TC gesture.
There was an an unknown when they put that on
the screen. It's usually police activity. I think it's okay,
watch out this morning.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
Two things.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
I think Terry's got a real radar standing by. I
know we've got some shower activity. It looked like to
me anyway, everything was wet where I was, so take
off this news.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
The other thing, I want you to watch out.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
We have just been this have this epidemic of random
people walking around on the freeway sixty nine Southwest Freeway
two eighty eight, the canyon. They've cleared that truck accident,
and have we cleared our roadwork on the southwest of Hillcrops.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
Yep, it's gone. Let's check your bridges.

center Terry is here, and yep, more rain in the
forecast today or at least the chance of it.
Speaker 6 (11:17):
Yes, the possibility of more rain today and tomorrow and
Friday as well, and then over the weekend maybe some
drier air. We'll keep our fingers crossed. Rainar's fairly quiet
right now, sky Mike. Just so you know, at least
on land. I'm seeing some showers and thunderstorms out in
the Gulf, but not around here at the moment.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Doesn't show up.
Speaker 6 (11:41):
No fog does not show up. It doesn't officially count
as check rain. But you know, we had some heavy
rain yesterday and spots, especially on the northwest side of town.
I see Kline and Perry View picking up some one
almost two inches of rain. So maybe just some moisture
(12:01):
leftover from the showers and storms we had yesterday.
Speaker 18 (12:04):
But we have a fifty.
Speaker 6 (12:05):
Percent chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. It's going to be
another hot day mid to upper nineties today. Now there's
this week front and it makes its way into southeast
Texas tomorrow, so we have a sixty percent chance of
showers and storms actually tomorrow and Friday. That's going to
bring the temperatures down load to mid nineties tomorrow, upper
(12:25):
eighties to low nineties Friday, and then the rain tapers
off over the weekend. We still might see a shower
two and we're going to head back up into the
nineties for the weekend.
Speaker 3 (12:35):

Morning News team.
Speaker 3 (12:50):
All the info you need did take on the day.
So evidently there's a little bit of a problem, well
actually it's a major problem evidently with the state's child
support system, the child support payments. You know, when you
get your wages, garnish for child support and it goes
to the state and the state processes it and gets
it to the person receiving the child support payments. Evidently
(13:12):
they've fallen way behind. They put some sort of new
system in and the new system isn't working very well more.
That story coming up next first, though, try to that
and weather together. Here's the guy Mike.
Speaker 4 (13:23):

Speaker 4 (13:37):
This morning, I just noticed the roadways were a little wet,
and as Terry told us a few minutes ago, it's
some of it's probably just some leftover moisture from yesterday's.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
Right Southwest Freeway.
Speaker 4 (13:46):
We did clear the roadwork at Hillcroft and also that
truck in the canyon. Nord found it too eighty eight.
He wasn't bothering anybody. Supercizes it pulled him out of there.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
By twenty two is our time here on Houston's morning news. Right.
So here's for those of you who are lucky enough
to have never been divorced or be involved in child
custody issues or child support payments or any of that stuff.
Here's a little primer on how that generally works from
a guy who's been through it before. Yes, I have
(15:25):
one divorce under my belt, and it was at a
point in life where my youngest son, Brian, was a
minor and he was going to be a minor for
I think it was two or three more years. So
I owe child support, which I was more than willing
(15:45):
to pay, more than quite honestly happy to pay. I
felt it was my responsibility to pay the child support,
not a problem. But what happened was is that I
began by sending the child support payment directly to Brian's mom,
and then her attorney got involved and decided it'd be
more fun to have my wages garnished, you know, so
(16:08):
that there'd be a middleman now, so the money would
go to the state, and then the state would pay her,
you know. And I'll never forget it, because I was
personally a little bit offended. What you don't trust me
to make the payments, Well, this is what my attorney wants, Okay,
so be it. We'll have a middleman if that's what
you want. And sure enough, the first child support payment,
(16:31):
you know, they started getting garnished from the check went
to the state and on the day was normally I
would pay her. She didn't get a check from the States.
So she calls me up, where's my money? Said, why
are you asking me? Your attorney said that he wanted
my wages garnished. The state has my money. It's not
(16:53):
my fault. You haven't been paid. You wouldn't been paid
by now if you just let me pay you directly.
That's not what your attorney wanted. Anyway. There's some new
software anywhere that's the state is using, evidently, and the
Attorney General's office evidently has not been very transparent as
to why we're having issues with the child support payments.
(17:14):
But here's the report from KPRC two. The Texas Attorney.
Speaker 21 (17:17):
General's Office says since they've rolled out this new system,
they've distributed one point five million child support payments, which
told us to more than two hundred and eighty eight
million dollars statewide, but some parents tell us they are
not included in that number.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
Now, I'm not here to pick a fight with the state,
but I feel like the state should.
Speaker 5 (17:37):
Do what's right.
Speaker 21 (17:38):
Noah ve Alaskaz said he didn't expect to be on
the news at all. Better yet speaking outs against the States,
but he said, as prices appear to be up on
so many items, every dollar cows, which is why he's
worried about his child support payments being delayed.
Speaker 22 (17:55):
I would have to pay to the mother of my
son the money through my job. My employer takes that
money out and sends it to child support. When child
support receiving receives it, they don't distribute.
Speaker 21 (18:06):
It the child support system housing the Texas Attorney General's Office.
Speaker 3 (18:10):
Here's how it works.
Speaker 21 (18:11):
One parent sends payments to the Attorney General's office, which
then distributes it to the other parents. However, those payments
are coming in and some are not going out, and
it's not just Velasquez. One parents told us they have
thirty seven thousand dollars not processed. Another message from a
grandmother who said her daughter has been waiting over two
(18:31):
months to receive her child supports for her four kids.
And there are more stories like this sets to our team.
We shared some of those stories directly with the Attorney
General's office. I send them a message asking if they
could explain what's happening and what are the plans of
resolving it.
Speaker 22 (18:50):
So at the end of the day, it's like it's
a state issue.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
They need to get on the ball. Well, yeah, they
probably should straighten that out. But again, you know, if
the state was not the middle band, if there wasn't
a metal band involved in this, if we could all
be adults and you know, do the right thing, then
we would have these problems, would we? Five twenty six.
Time to take a look at your money. Denise Pellegreney
is in this morning. Good morning.
Speaker 23 (19:12):
Yeah, we've got some good news if you're hungry for

the combo prices and struck an agreement to keep the

Speaker 24 (21:26):
If you're a teacher moving to Oklahoma from a blue state,
you're going to need to pass this test before you
can teach.
Speaker 5 (21:32):
Yeah, our neighbors in Oklahoma are now requiring teachers moving
from blue states to take a test the idea weed
out radical left ideology in their schools.
Speaker 25 (21:42):
Liftists are outraged and claim this violates their rights, but
does it really.
Speaker 26 (21:46):
As long as these teachers are being paid by the
state are a school to teach, they are obligated to
comply with their employer's mandate.
Speaker 25 (21:55):
Education expert doctor Carrol Haynes called out the radical left
teachers' unions for opposing this.
Speaker 26 (22:00):
We know how broadly teachers union, especially the NEA the AFT,
have been pushing all of this into the classroom. They
don't want anything changed.
Speaker 25 (22:08):
Haines says, this is a great way to keep the
radical left from indoctrinating students, and Texas should do something similar.
Ethan Buchanan News Radio seven forty KRH.
Speaker 5 (22:16):
Thank you, Ethan. And the new state law requiring the
Ten Commandments be in every public school classroom in Texas
is supposed to go into effect September first. It's being
challenged in court, though, and Jonathan Shines with Texas Value
says he's confident it will be upheld.
Speaker 27 (22:30):
I'm one of many, along with Governor Greg Abbott and
turn General Ken Paxson, that are ready to protect our
Ten Commandments law in every school district and in every
classroom in a lone star state.
Speaker 3 (22:41):
So mark my word, we will win this battle of
Biblical proportions.
Speaker 5 (22:45):
A ruling is expected before the end of the month,
but the case is likely going to wind up in
the US Supreme Court. It's now five point thirty three.
The state capitol was evacuated last night due to a threat.
It was online and there was nothing to it. Meantime,
radical left protesters are complaining after Nicole Collier, the Democrat
who refused a DPS monitor, was forced to stay in
(23:09):
the House chamber now for two nights.
Speaker 28 (23:11):
It's criminal that that's the people's house, and you know,
our tax dollars pay for that capital.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
We pay for that place to be.
Speaker 19 (23:18):
There, and we pay to have a voice, and our
voice is being erased.
Speaker 5 (23:21):
And that, by the way, was arrested for protesting. She
was talking to San Antonio TV. Collier is now suing
over the move to put Democrats under surveillance in Irony.
They ran away for two weeks and now they won't leave. Meantime,
Republicans in California are suing to block that blue state's
fast tracked redistricting plan, and as the fight moves on

to other states, conservatives say bring it.
Speaker 29 (23:45):
Any registrict of warks can be one bet Republicans Foreshore.
Once it dives out of the news cycle, California and
Gavinison will find a way to quietly retreat. I think
they realized the consequences of what this would mean going forward.
Speaker 5 (23:55):
Will Chamberlain, with the Article three projects, says Republicans could
probably pick up twenty seats nationally if there is a
full out redistricting war. Five point thirty four. In Washington,
Director of National Intelligence Tulsa Gabbard announces that she has
stripped security clearances from thirty seven current and former intelligence

Speaker 28 (24:18):

refused to reference previously because they knew it was substandard
and did not meet the quality and the credibility that
is expected of them as intelligence.
Speaker 5 (24:32):

ahead with his agenda, like the DC crime crackdown, despite
the constant opposition from Democrats, Missouri Senator Eric Schmidt telling
k TRHS, Klay Travis, and Buck Sexton, anything that makes
the left angry is probably good for the rest of us.
Speaker 30 (24:52):
They're already actually taking criminals off the street in Washington, DC.
Speaker 3 (24:55):
They don't want them to do it.
Speaker 30 (24:56):
You got it, President, because the confidence and the strength

big reason for that. Electrical generation is now a must

Today five thirty eight is our time here in Houston's
morning news. Right, there's a survey of the top fifty
lowest paid jobs in America. That is number one. Washing
hair is the lowest paid job in America. Now, who
washes hair? Well, it's it's a very select group of people,
it is. I guess technically the job would be called shampoor.
(27:46):
Somebody works at a hair salon but only wash his hair.
It's usually an entry level job when you're trying to
be a stylist. By the way, that pays about thirty
thirty dollars per year. All these that made the top
ten lowest pay jobs in America. He is somewhere between
thirty and thirty four thousand dollars a year. Fast food
(28:06):
cook came in second, and by fast food cook, we're
talking about the people who only work cooking in the kitchen.
They don't ring people up, they don't work to drive through,
they don't talk to the customers, They just cook the food.
Amusement and recreation attendance is that what they call carnies
Now we used to call them carnees. People run the
(28:27):
amusement park rides and concession stands. That's the third lowest
paying job in America, followed by fast food counter workers.
They make a little bit more than the cooks do
because they have to deal with people, and you know,
people can be jerks, ushers. Lobby attendants and ticket takers
at theaters and concert venues came in fifth. Cashiers came
(28:48):
in sixth. You know, once they're working to e g.
Being Kroger and all that kind of stuff. Host and
hostess at a restaurant or coffee shop came in seventh.
Gambling and sports book writers and runners people who helped
facilitate bets at casinos, who run games or run games
like Keno came in eighth. This is sad. Childcare workers
(29:10):
came in ninth lowest paying job in America. That includes
daycare workers, babysitters, and nannies. It's one of the most
important jobs we have probably with most households having both
parents working. I mean, you're entrusting the life of your
child to somebody who's one of the worst paid people
in America. And dishwashers came in number ten of all
(29:31):
of the top ten I did. That was one of
my first jobs when I was still in high school,
was washing dishes at a old folks home, you know.
And that was a busy job. That's that's hard work
keeping those dishes from moving by forty time for traffic
and weather together. What that gender studies degree is paying now?
I think that's where the shampoos all go.
Speaker 4 (29:51):
Right there with the philosophers. Let's go to the West
Park to Way. I got an outbound deal there at
the Beltway left lane stall.
Speaker 3 (30:00):
Are we okay?
Speaker 4 (30:00):
Yeah, we're all right. It's kind of a dark spot.
But watch out after the Southwest Freeway. Let's check you

periods in his speech. There's just a lot of comments.
It's like he never quite finishes the thought before he
moves on to the next thing. I've grown used to it.
I even kind of like it at this point. But
the New York Times is very concerned that more and
more Americans are talking like Trump, which means that Trump's
getting to us. We are becoming more Trump like, and
(34:43):
they don't like that whatsoever. Greg Guettfeld had some fun
on his show last night talking about that Trump. He's different.
Speaker 35 (34:50):
I wonder does he want to get to heaven if possible.

Speaker 3 (35:51):
It's why cab drivers and Jesse Waters love him.
Speaker 35 (35:56):
But it makes me wonder has The New York Time's

language into an appealing cover for their dreadful ideas. I mean,
what's worse, blunt honesty or this dishonest muck.
Speaker 37 (36:09):
We talked about racial and economic justice, racial and social justice.
We started to add to really extend those issues to
the issues of economic justice, environmental justice, and the intersectionality

Treasury Secretary Scott Bess, and John Fox. So when will
the next meeting take place?
Speaker 39 (39:58):
President Trump expects Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President
Vladimir Zelinsky to meet soon. Meantime, European officials are discussing
options for a security guarantee for Ukraine as part of
a peace plan. President Trump says that will not include
American boots on the ground, but could include US air power.
Speaker 5 (40:17):
That is Fox's Garen Halpern reporting the Trump Putin summit
was one of three major events recently that the President
pulled off without it being leaked to the mainstream media.
Speaker 11 (40:28):
Trump is just totally on offense, doesn't care what the
media says. He's not leaking to the media. He's not
using the media to frame a story. If anything, he's
just confusing them. He's in control, his people are in control.
They're running a tight ship.
Speaker 5 (40:43):
Political commentator Brian Jundev says he's not sure if we've
ever seen anything like this before, especially with the modern

President Trump is once again calling for the end of
mail in voting.
Speaker 25 (41:47):
The fact is there are major concerns about how secure
mail in voting actually.
Speaker 12 (41:51):
Is Democrats have admitted that mail in balloting is the
number one conduit for fraud in elections.
Speaker 3 (41:57):
We've seen that time and time again. Trump is trying
to combat that.
Speaker 25 (42:00):
Former Texas GOP chairman Matt Rinaldi says it will take
a national effort from the states in order to stop it.
Speaker 12 (42:05):
When I was chair of the Republican Party of Texas,
our priority was one day in person, balloting, only mail
and voting only.

a significant disadvaning Trenn and Common who's held office for
a long time. It's trailing by five points an arguably
it might even be higher. It's probably not less.

In a moment in the history of our country where
it's so lacking in those who should have it, and
you really are inspiring so many people.
Speaker 5 (43:25):
Yeah, just a portion of the word salad that made
for her phone call to Democrat State Rep. Nicole Collier yesterday.
By the way, Collier spent a second night in the
capitol because she won't agree the DPS making sure she
you know, shows up for work elsewhere. The state Capitol
was evacuated due to a social media threat last night.
(43:45):
Collier says. The threat called for violence against lawmakers. It's
coming up on six oh six. The Trump manufacturing boom
is putting an already reeling China in an even tougher spot.
Economist Michael Butler says tariff are helping drive investment, and
with how much China's GDP depends on the US, China
(44:06):
is in trouble.
Speaker 15 (44:07):
We can set up our manufacturing to be capital intensive,
using a lot of equipment rather than labor intensive. If
that happens, China will lose its advantage because they have
the low cost labor. We'll be able to meet the prices,
and again our manufacturing sector will grow.
Speaker 29 (44:25):
He says.
Speaker 5 (44:25):
This will stop the Chinese from growing meantime. Closer to home,

I got a real job, and I've got a haircut.
But I have to say that my haircut hasn't changed
much in the last fifteen to twenty years. I think
I'm rock of the same hairstyle I had fifteen twenty
(45:49):
years ago. If you look on the website, there's a
picture of my profile picture. I don't know why we
still use that thing is from two thousand and seven.
I don't even look like that guy anymore. But the

but it looks the same kind of have the clooney
thing going on, you know, where you just the front's
kind of poked up and the rest of the kind
(46:10):
of lies flat.
Speaker 3 (46:12):
Reason why I mentioned all this there's a new survey
out on men's hairstyles. Twenty one percent of men say
they are nervous about asking their barber or hairstylist for
a new look. Twenty three percent of men have been
afraid to ask for a specific cut, even if they
really wanted to try it. Study also found the average
guy gets their haircut ten times per year, that's about
(46:34):
once every five weeks, has had the same hairstyle for
seven years on average. Eighty four percent of men say
they feel confident with their current hairdo. Fifty five percent
have never considered changing it. The other forty five percent
have thought about it, but that doesn't mean they're up
(46:55):
for anything. They might let it grow a little longer,
they may want to cut it a little bit shorter,
but other than that, the parts where the part's always been.
You get the idea. So here's my question of today
and ladies you can participate in this too. How many
hairstyles have you had in your lifetime? I think I've
had basically three, three or four different hairstyles. I had
(47:22):
a buzz cut when I was a kid because that
way my mom didn't have to mess with it. Had
I had longer hair, starting in high school and certainly
in college. I mean long hair parted down the middle,
and then in the eighties sometime I went with a
shorter haircut parted on the side, and then in the
(47:44):
nineties at some point in time I went with what
I've got now, which is which hasn't changed, probably in
twenty at least in twenty years. So anyway, you go
to the iHeartRadio app KTRH, you hit the talkback button.
You get up to thirty seconds. First name from and
how many different hairstyles have you had, and if you
(48:04):

Three here On Houston's War, news Doctor Carol haynes joins
this education policy. Expert, Evidently oklahoma is going to begin
teaching testing teachers From New york And california on their.
IDEOLOGY i guess you could probably cheat at, that says,
though couldn't, You Doctor?
Speaker 26 (54:16):
Haynes you, Know i've wondered about. That if they, can't
because they're already putting out some of the answers to,
it and so they are could they very well could memorize.
US i think it will come home to haunt. Them
but you, Know, jimmy this is not really. Uncommon but
this is ACTUALLY i say it's a it's a it's
a page out of the left, playbook because up In,
(54:41):
illinois several years, ago they passed a law that teachers
have to teach action civics to maintain their. License it's
called Action, civics but it really they're disguising it As American,
civics and they used a classroom for community organizing and
recruiting A marxist. Army now here's the. Thing those hypocritical
left thinks it's okay to link that to teaching and
(55:05):
to getting a teacher's license and keeping that. License but
they find to a rage if we say we're going
to be checking you to see if you're going to
be putting ideological values into our. Classroom Tina, ellsworth who's
president of The National council And Social Studies, eden, says you,
know it's imposing an ideological test to become a teacher
in our great, democracy anesthetical to our constitutional. Values When John,
(55:29):
waldron who is a state, representative their calls of political,
posturing he, says teachers will will not even. Come, well
we already have a teacher, shortage but we know it's
not because of. This it's because they don't want to
be in a classroom where there's all of this. Progressivism
so here's my. Question if they can do it in
(55:49):
the Liberal, states how come we in the Rest states
are not able to do? This why have we not
had the backbone to do? This so if they memorize the,
answers there can simply keep on putting in more test
questions and sooner or later they will get tripped.
Speaker 3 (56:04):
Up let me, back let me ask you this, though
just from an employment aspect, here regardless of what your
political affiliation, is do you believe it's legal to hire
or not hire people based on their political.
Speaker 26 (56:19):
Ideology, well it doesn't seem to be a real problem
in The Blue. States we only worry about.
Speaker 13 (56:25):
It in The Red.
Speaker 26 (56:26):
States we're more concerned about whether it is. Legal and,
yes it will go to. COURT i, mean there's no
doubt about. That, however if you go to work for a,
company let's say you go to work For, walmart they're
going to expect you to follow what they want you
to do and what they want you to say while you're.
There otherwise you're not going to continue to be. There
and teachers will, say, well you're violating My First amendment
(56:49):
rights to tell me WHAT i can't and can't teach
in the. Classroom, yes but it's a public money who
is paying you to stay, there and if you don't
want them violate, it then.
Speaker 3 (56:57):
LEAVE i would think. Too the other thing that you
would need to, do Doctor, haynes as you would need
to give this test to any incoming, teacher regardless of
what state they're coming. From there are. Conservatives they're not,
toummon but there are conservatives In New york And, california
and they they might be moving To oklahoma because they're
trying to get away from all the progressive.
Speaker 26 (57:15):
POLICIES i think not only should we do it as you,
said for The blue, states but we should do it
across the. Board and we should make sure we even
do it Within texas when we have new people coming,
up they're new, teachers so it should be across the
board that everybody takes it that they're going to teach
our values within our classrooms In. America. INTERESTING i think
(57:37):
it's a brilliant.
Speaker 3 (57:38):

Radium seven J T. Rh, well if we get into
a redistricting, ward it wouldn't be good For, democrats that's for.
Sure Will chamberlain joins a senior counsel at The article Three.
PROJECT i think the question isn't whether or Not republicans
could win a redistricting. War the question is would they?
Fight what do you?
Speaker 29 (01:32:38):
THINK i think that's a good way to frame the,
Question BUT i think they. WOULD i, MEAN i don't
think that the other states are going to stand by Y,
california you, know decides to jerrymander. Out, uh you know
everyone but three or Four republican congressman in a state
where you, know we Lost california by less than we
Won florida.
Speaker 3 (01:32:57):
And texas this last.
Speaker 29 (01:32:59):
President so, yeah that's not SOMETHING i think people would stand,
for AND i expect The republican states would respond in.
Speaker 3 (01:33:06):
Kind. Yeah i'm looking at the map right. Now, california
they could only redistrict if they put it up for a,
vote did have to have a special, election which evidently
they're willing to at Least Gavin newsom is willing to.
Do if you can come up with enough. Votes oregon
they could do, It illinois could, redistrict AND i THINK
i must say Maybe maryland could. Redistrict but you'd look
at all these red States, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia,
(01:33:32):
Florida South, Carolina North, Carolina, Tennessee New, York, Ohio, indiana
they could all, redistrict and those are all red. States,
yeah there's a lot.
Speaker 29 (01:33:42):
More red states that can, redistrict and the red states
that can district have More democrat congressmen in them generally,
speaking you, know if you look at it, broadly largely
because of The Voting Rights act and how it used
to be, Interpreted so you have a lot of these
majority minority districts and states that could easily you can
completely lock Out democrats from having any, seats Like, louisiana for.
(01:34:03):
Example it's a good example of.
Speaker 45 (01:34:05):
That.
Speaker 29 (01:34:05):
ALABAMA i Think alabama might have Two democrat seats of all,
things which is actually crazy when you think about, it
Because alabama is one of the hardest.
Speaker 3 (01:34:11):
Red states in the. Country, YEAH i think it's safe to,
say you, know to get back to the are willing
to fight. Thing Certainly democrats know, that are they counting
on the idea that The republicans wouldn't fight back against
them redrawing maps and blue? States all?
Speaker 29 (01:34:27):
RIGHT i think they're sort of in this weird spot
where they don't have any because they don't have a,
leader they don't have strategic command and, control so they're
all just doing things to get social media, likes and
it doesn't if it doesn't fit into a strategy or
leads to negative consequences for the party as a, whole
well there's nobody who can take the larger view and stop.
Speaker 45 (01:34:48):
It you.
Speaker 29 (01:34:50):
Know in a, Sense republicans are much able to act
much more strategically Because trump is the leader of the.
Party So trump and is confident that if he makes
a decision and sees what the right move, is everybody else.
Speaker 3 (01:35:00):
Will fall into.
Speaker 29 (01:35:01):
Line So democrats don't have. That they're just stuck trying,
to you, know appeal to their base and act and
resist in any way that they, can even if there's
this ultimately leads to worst consequences down the.
Speaker 3 (01:35:13):
Road but all this acting up seems to be eroding
their base at least to a certain, extent don't you, think?
Speaker 29 (01:35:20):
Yes oh, YEAH i, mean, well it's you, know Moderate
democrats are leaving the party in, droves the kind OF i,
mean and it really gives you sort of, wonder is
that who's going to be you, know the nominees going?
Forward because you, know all the kind of people who
would have voted for the Moderate, democrat a lot of
them are Becoming, republicans even in big city so you,
know you, see this is how you get somebody like Zarenmum,
(01:35:40):
donnis The democrat nominee In New York. City you, know
the kind of people who would have voted for a
moderate like A cuomo or In, Adams they're they're Becoming
republicans and so they're not even in the party.
Speaker 3 (01:35:53):
NECESSARILY i have the, one one last one for you,
here and that is with all these Moderate democrats coming
over to The Republican, party is there a danger there
that that pushes The Republican party more towards the, middle
LESS maga and more towards the middle.
Speaker 33 (01:36:08):
To a.
Speaker 29 (01:36:08):
Degree BUT i, THINK i, mean you, know in a Sense,
Trump trump's already done a decent job of that if
you look at and not in a bad. WAY i
think The Republican party's platform now is much more in
the middle of the country than it, was, say twelve
years ago under With Mint romney And Paul. Ryan you,
know we're much more moderate on things like entitlements than we,
(01:36:30):
were but we're hard on, immigration which is the number
one issue for a huge chunk of the. Country you,
know you look at where we. Are we just we've
embraced a, really really tough immigration, policy which is what
the majority of the country. Wants and so we were
just in a very strong position in terms of our policy,
platform much stronger than.

World men don't have a lot of choices when it
comes to. Hairstyles i'm trying to think of all the
Hairstyles i've had SINCE i was a little. KID i
had a buzz, CUT i had a. Princeton princeton was
(01:45:27):
kind of like a kind of a combination between a
crew cut and longer. Hair you had the almost the
buzz cut for most of, it except you had the
hair just in the front enough hair to comb over
in the. Front that was called a princeton back in the.
Day And i've had long hair WHEN i was in,
(01:45:50):
college and you, know and Then i've had a side,
part And i've Had i've had the part down the
middle WHEN i had the longer, hair And i've had
for the longest time now kind of what you'd call
The clooney tamed After George, clooney because you, know it's
it's shorter, hair but it's it's just long enough that
(01:46:11):
you can you can it lay down on top and
then you, know you kind of spike it up a
little bit in the, front AND i suppose it's probably
time for a new, hairstyle but men don't normally change
their hairstyles that. Often in, fact that we were asking
the question here about your your hair and what kind
of hair you've, had and maybe what kind of haircut
you had that embarrassed you or and right on down the.
Line so let's hear from some of our listeners on their.

vote by. Mail that at least that's what The president.
Says seven to fifty. Three Now here In houston's Morning,
news Ma vernaldi's with a former state. Rep Forward TEXAS gop.
Chairman The president has a point, because you, know security
(01:51:33):
of the mail in ballots has always been an, issue
and most of the election fraud charges have occurred as
a result of mail in. Voting agree or disagree.
Speaker 8 (01:51:42):
Oh absolutely.
Speaker 12 (01:51:43):
Agree and you know, WHAT i think The democrats agree,
to even though they won't admit it.
Speaker 8 (01:51:47):
NOW i, mean.
Speaker 12 (01:51:48):
Previously on The Texas house, Floor democrat leaders admitted that
mail in voting is the primary primary cause of fraud
and election and we.
Speaker 3 (01:51:58):
All know that to be.
Speaker 8 (01:51:59):
True.
Speaker 3 (01:51:59):
Okay of, course they also like to tell you that
there's never been enough fraud to overturn an, election and
that and and that's where that's where the arguing. Starts
what you can and what you can't?
Speaker 12 (01:52:10):
Prove, WELL i won my first election by ninety four.
VOTES i know other elections that have been won by
one or two. Votes so if there's any voter, fraud
clearly can overturn an. Election SO i, mean we need
to be worried about any amount of voter, fraud and
those that voter frauds coming from mail in, ballots people
(01:52:31):
who are collecting ballots that are pressuring people to vote
a certain, way and that that could be even harvesting those.
Ballots so that's what we should be focused, on and
that's what the president's.
Speaker 3 (01:52:42):
Votes could you could you eliminate all mail in voting
for example the? Military that's you, know how would we
handle of overseas military and how they. Vote if we
don't have mail in voting, ANYMORE i, mean that's that's.
Speaker 12 (01:52:55):
That's not a primary source of fraud mal military. Ballots
what we need to do is adopt, laws, ironically like
Many blue states, have Like connecticut And, delaware where you
have single day. Voting, uh you only have mail in
ballots upon an excuse or if you're, away like on the,
military and that'll that'll cut down on a.
Speaker 3 (01:53:17):
Lot. Yeah the other the other thing that the president
wants to do is he wants to move into paper
ballots only he wants to get rid of some of
these voting machines that he suspects or a. Problem absolutely.
Speaker 12 (01:53:31):
Agree you, KNOW i think mail in balloting should be the, priority,
right but SECONDARY i think is the voting. Machines but
it should be a priority as. Well we need paper,
ballots and we need one day of. Voting the vote
the election day should be a snapshot in.
Speaker 8 (01:53:49):
Time.
Speaker 12 (01:53:50):
Uh these two weeks of early voting we have In,
texas or in some weeks you might have even more
than a month of early. Voting, uh excus an, election
it invites fraud because there's more time to commit fraud
and it should be, stopped.
Speaker 3 (01:54:04):
All, Right, matt thank, you appreciate your. Time Matt, rinaldi
