map is out and the Democrats don't like it. Cash

Aris County Sheriff Ad Gonzalez is one of his deputies
suffers a laceration to his head, and an officer involved shooting.
The man who fired at deputies is in critical condition.
This started as a domestic call, also topping the news
this morning.

If they get two seats, they'll be happy and probably
ready to go home by the time that happens.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
Political consultant Bill Miller reacting to the new congressional map
proposed by Texas lawmakers. Republicans are targeting five seats, and
the new map puts Democrat al Greens district in an
area won by President Trump last year by fifteen points.
Miller predicts this will go to court. Meantime, California Governor

Gavin Newsom reportedly plans to push for redistricting in his
state if the new Texas map is approved. So, in
other words, bad for us, good for him, right, and
a new national superpack that back's Democrats has created a
twenty million dollar fund to stop redistricting. Well, that sounds
like a lot of money. Experts data it'll have any

impact at all.

Rout in Texas especially, I mean Greg Abbotts raised almost
eighty million dollars already for an unannounced gubernatorial campaign.

Political scientist John Taylor calls it a waste of money.
Then again, Texas Democrats are trying to stop all of
this by asking you to give them cash so that
they can run away instead of legislat This is.

Being called out as an example of Democrats just being
sore losers.

It's a shame and weak leadership from the Democratic side.
They're not allowing the democratic process.

Kyle Sinclair with the Beahar County GOP says he doesn't
expect the Democrats to win any political points from this.

We became a stronger conservative state and so this type
of behavior where you're mining and crying a doul't work

He went on to say that he's confident the redistricting
plan will pass despite Democrat resistance to it. Ethan Buchanan

Also in Austin, the Senate passes a ban on products
made with THHC. Again, this in the meantime, as Governor
Greg Gabbott has been pushing for regulation. More on this

a bombshell from Washington. Fox is reporting that FBI Director
Cash Patel has found thousands of sensitive documents related to

the origins of the Trump Russia probe. They were buried
in multiple burn bags in his secret room inside the FBI.

the FBI. That's one of the reasons.

The FED still refuses to budge when it comes to
interest rate.

The Federal Reserve holding interest rates steady for the fifth
straight meeting, and based on FED Chair Jerome Powell's comments,
there is no guarantee of a rate cut at their
next meeting. Financial planner Richard Rosso says Powell continues his
tariff derangement syndrome.

Frankly, he is not going to cut rage as much
as President Trump wandson anyway. But now we have to
price in the fact that maybe we don't get a
rate cut in September. So this Federal Reserve interest rate
cat and mouse game continues.

Markets had heavily favor a rate cut in September, but
that outlook is now down to just fifty to fifty.

Second quarter GDP grew at an annualized rate of three percent,
well above expectations.

Most people thought that tariffs would tank the economy, and

dealt a prospect to Baltimore for infielder Ramon Urias ahead

in the infield. And sad news as Dolores Ostein, the
co founder of Lakewood Church, the mother of Joel Ostein,

It's the consistency of oysters that bother me. It's kind
of like snot. It's like eating snot unless they're cooked.

If they're cooked, they're fine, but not raw oysters. Number
six caviar, fish eggs. I like caviar, don't eat it
very often. Number five squid. If you don't like squid,
maybe you haven't had a prepared ride. Number four tofu

hate rating at forty percent. Only thirty six percent fully hate.
And chovies, which came in number one, because if you
put together hate and dislike, fifty six percent of us dislike.

Why was the Teamsters involved with the mob? He's kind
of like a think of all those Teamsters union dues

were in bed with that Fitzimmons dude, and they couldn't
control Jimmy Hofferer. So Jimmy Hoffe had to go five

As we chick in with Jeff Bellingcher. Good morning and
good morning to you, Jimmy. No change in the cost
of borrowing the Federal Reserve as expected, left infrast rates unchanged.
What was a bit of a surprise, though, was that

central bankers were not unanimous this time around. FED Governors
Christopher Waller and Michelle Bowman both favored and immediate rate cut.
Stocks ended mixed after the Fed decision. There was some
disappointment on Wall Street. The Dow fell four tenths percent,
the S and P five hundred closed a tenth of
a percent lower, The Nasdaq closed two tenths percent higher.

Investors have really gotten over any disappointment, though, because of
some positive earnings reports from the tech sector. Microsoft is
about to reach a milestone after hosting better than expected
quarterly results. The software giant will become only the second
company in the world with a market cap of four
trillion dollars and metal platforms. Quarterly results also top Wall

Street forecast very handily and futures are sharply higher. This morning,

Texas has a choice to make. We know for a
fact this stuff's not good.

Texas State Senator Charles Perry. His bill demand products with
THCHC passes the Senate yesterday, despite a veto from the
governor during the regular session. There's no word on whether
or not the House is going to take this up
at all. Lawmakers also finally release their map for redistricting.
If passed, al Green's district would be one of the
five that they have targeted will have more At six o'clock. Meantime,

lawmakers are set to be in Kerrville today for hearing
on the deadly July fourth flooding.

Witnesses that today's hearing will be city and county leaders, meteorologists,
and maybe most importantly, people affected by the fourth of
July flood. State Senator Jose Mendez, who sits on the
Select Committee, says, there have been sirens going off to
warn them about the weather.

We do is look at the other counties where the
loss of life was a lot, lest many of them
had sirens.

There's also expected to be questions about why the Upper
Guadalupe River Authority decided to lower property taxes rather than
upgrade a flood warning system. A wall of water killed
at least one hundred and eight people in Kirk County alone.

Governor Rabbit will be in Amarillo today signing the new
