Speaker 1 (00:01):
See that's the kool Ail Green. We don't have the
kol Al Greens. We've got the acting up all the time.
Al Green in Congress six twenty two, our time here
in Houston's Morning News. Before we bring on Congressman Troy Nails,
here is our congressman, will not personally my congressman, but
Houston area Congressman Al Green getting kicked out.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Mister Green, take your seat, Take your seat, sir, take
your seat, buddy. The members continue to engage in wilful
and concerted disruption or proper decorum. The Chair now directs
a startant at arms to restore order.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Remove this gentleman from the chamber.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
And of course that was the end of Al Green's
day in Congress, wasn't there for long? Congressman Troy Nails
joins us, Yeah, I'm imagining is this is going on
that you've got a pair of handcuffs left over from
your days for ben County and just kind of handed
them over to the sergeant arms, go ahead and cut them.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Yeah, thank you for having me, Jimmy. Yeah, I think
it's it's sad, you know, a lot of this. I
think it's just all about, you know, seeking some personal attention.
They want the cameras to be on them. Maybe Al
but I've been corrected. It's not Al Green, it's he said,
it's it's Alexander Green. So just correcting Alexander Green.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Alexander, I would think you ought to be associated with
soul singer Al Green, because that Al Green is so
much cooler than this Al Green.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Yeah, And I tell you what, I just you know,
there's many of the Democrats, and if you look at
the way, whether it's Alexander Green or some of the others,
that disrespect that they showed President Trump. You know, even
Pocahonta sitting on her phone most of the night. Many
of the Democrats with just little signs like they're in
the grade school, you know. And so I think they

(02:04):
some of them, I think they love this country, some
of them, some of them just really just like this country.
But they all have one thing in common. They hate
They hate Donald Trump. They hate him to the core,
and you can see it in their behavior and their attitudes.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Sad well, you know, if he is halfway is successful
as interverece that he's going to be, this will come
back to haunt them big time. Do they realize they're
setting them up to overturn history and have one of
the most disastrous opposite party midterm elections in the history
of mankind.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Yes, and I'm glad that they can't see it. You
would have thought with the November fifth the mandate, winning
all the seven swing states, winning the popular vote, that
the Democrats would kind of try to turn the tide
a little bit. But I think they're dug in. I
think they are dug in. You see what you know,
the nut job governor evers out of Wisconsin. They keep

(02:55):
going on with this, you know, women and names and
pronouns and all this other stuff. I love it. I'm
glad that they continue to do it because we should
be able to even get more seats in the House
with our thin majority. And I go ahead, keep beating
the drum, you guys, go ahead, Democrats, keep doing it
because the American people are done. They're sick and tired

(03:16):
of the garbage with the border with women and men
and girls, locker rooms and sports. Keep going, and you're right,
this will be the end of the Democrat Party if
they don't change direction and get more reasonable with common sense.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Before I let you go, sir, what was your highlight
from last night? What was what part of the Trump's
speech really stood out to you?

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Well, A couple of things. Real quick. I thought, you know,
addressing Elizabeth Warren as Pocahontas, I thought that was I
thought that was funny. But I tell you what, when
when you heard President Trump, but I wanted him to
just continue. I mean I wanted him to continue to
allow the American people to hear the moneys that have
been spent, the waste, fraud, and abuse. Jimmy, I don't

(03:58):
know what the hell of transgender mice, transgender studies on mice.
I mean, this has gotten It's ridiculous. It's been taking
place for years, if not decades. Elon Musk and Dog
is exposing it. And if we continue down this path
letting the American people know which party for the most part,
has just wasted our you know, tax dollars, our hard

(04:21):
earned tax dollars. I think the American people are going
to say we need to keep the Republican Party in
charge for decades to come because they put America first.
For that America.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
For that to happen, though, Congress is going to have
to qualify many of the things that Donald Trump is
doing by executive order.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Yes, and that's why, you know, speaking to President Trump
and others, we have to these midterm elections are going
to be very, very important because if you don't keep
the House, which is going to be a little bit
more difficult than the Senate because we have a one
seat majority of the Senate has three. We got to
keep the House. Yeah, President Trump will have two years,
you know, try to get legislation, but everything else will
have to be through executive order if we don't keep

(04:58):
the House, because you know they'll they'll try to will
peach him and everything else. So we have to do
everything we can to keep the House of Representatives. And
if we behave, we will, Jimmy, If we behave and
follow President Trump's his guidance and advice and do what
he asked us to do, I believe we will keep
the House in two years.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
All right, Well, you all behave and I'll talk to
you soon. You take care, Yes, sir, that's Congressman Troy
Nails joining us
