Services studios.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
Well, good morning, It's Thursday, five am. Here on Houston's
Morning News. I'm Jimmy Barrett. Among our top stories as
we get started this morning, Trump brokers a deal between
Israel and Hamas. But will Hamas just break it? Democrats
vote for a six time to keep our government shut down?
And coming up at five oweight, So why is the
media reporting this local story as road rage? Details in
(00:41):
the minutes ahead. You're in Houston's Morning News. First, we're
gonna check out that morning Brian for the first time
this morning. Sky Miike's here. Good morning.
Speaker 4 (00:47):
We're gonna start off with our hard hats, Jimmy, and
let's do some two twenty five. Like two twenty five
doesn't have enough problems. They've had these massive pothole problems
right before the east Sam. I don't know what leaked
on to there and fizzled out, but we've got an
eastbound stall. This big truck left lane really scoochy spot.
PMEX is doing the turnaround, which means about four thousand
(01:08):
more people throughout the week on the road this morning.
We're getting by for now, and we better keep an
eye on two twenty five freeways. Pretty much rocking along now.
I'm Skymike at your USA RV Resorts dot Com traffic center.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
From our KTRH top tax dependers twenty four hour weather
center Sunday today. With the high temperature right about ninety one,
we'll get the complete forecast. Looks like a lot of
sunshine in our future all the way through the weekend,
and we'll talk to Terry Smith about all this. Also,
big nor'easter is going to hit the East Coast. We'll
Quizzer about that too. I will talk to her in
about nine minutes right now seventy four at your official
severe weather station, the news Radio seven forty k TRH.
(01:43):
It's time now for the news. Here's Cliff Sanders, Thank you.
Speaker 5 (01:46):
Jimmy, and good morning everyone. It's five oh one. Our
top story.
Speaker 6 (01:49):
Messages are going to be released probably Monday.
Speaker 5 (01:52):
President Trump announcing a deal between Israel and him most
to release all twenty living Israeli hostages, the two sides
agreeing to one of a ceasefire.
Speaker 7 (02:01):
Everybody from Steve Whitgoff and Jared Kushner and Marco and
we had everybody, JD, the whole the whole group was
just amazing.
Speaker 5 (02:12):
The President says other Middle Eastern nations will help reconstruct Goza.
The deal comes two years after the Hamas attack that
killed more than twelve hundred.
Speaker 8 (02:21):
Israelis covered this story for more than seven years. This
is the first time that I can remember where Israelis
and Palestinians were celebrating the same thing.
Speaker 5 (02:30):
Trey Yanks reporting from Tel Aviv. Potential peace in the
Middle East, not so much so in Washington. The shutdown
is in day nine. Senate Minority Leader Hakim Jeffries literally
lost his mind in a Capitol building confrontation with New
York Republican Mike Lawler.
Speaker 4 (02:46):
I said, you're not gonna You're not gonna talk. You're
not gonna talk to me. You're not gonna talk to
me and talk over New York right because you don't
want to hear what.
Speaker 9 (02:53):
I have to say.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
Oh I'm listening.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
Why don't you just keep your mouth shut?
Speaker 5 (02:56):
We have the entire video, five minutes long, up on
face book and on x meantime, another vote in the
Senate fails. That would be the sixth time Democrats could
have kept things running and didn't. But the rhetoric continues,
especially from Texas Congresswoman Jasmin Crockett, who is now being
called out by none other than Stephen A.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
Smith.
Speaker 10 (03:20):
But how Jasmin Crockett chooses to express herself, I'm.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Like, is that gonna help your district in Texas?
Speaker 10 (03:27):
Aren't you there to find a way to get stuff
done as opposed to just being an impediment to what
Trump wants?
Speaker 5 (03:33):
That was Smith on a Serious XM show. It's now
five to oh three. Thanks to President Trump, we have
the most secure border since nineteen seventy. Illegal border crossings
in fiscal year twenty twenty five were at just over
two hundred and thirty seven thousand under Joe Biden. In
the previous fiscal four years, the average was one point
eight six million. Meantime, another illegal alien caravan is moving
(03:57):
north through Mexico, but this one's not coming here. It's
final destination Mexico City. Top Price with Breitbart says, this
shows what that deterrence works.
Speaker 11 (04:08):
The only thing that's going to stop the migrant crisis
at the border is certain knowledge that if they cross
the border illegally, they will be returned, they will not
be admitted into the United States, and President Trump has
demonstrated that that is the case.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
One woman in the caravan told reporters, quote, why would
I want to go to the US?
Speaker 4 (04:25):
They hate us there.
Speaker 5 (04:27):
Five h four, The Houston Chronicle reports that the majority
of Harris County Commissioner's campaign dollars are coming from those
people who get their contracts approved.
Speaker 12 (04:37):
Charles Blaine, president of Urban Reform, says, this is how
it works.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
Simply.
Speaker 13 (04:43):
The fact that they're getting the money. I don't think
is a problem because the average person isn't really too
concerned about Commissioner's court race. They might be concerned enough
to vote, but they're not going to be concerned enough
to give.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
And with that said, it's not a good look.
Speaker 13 (04:55):
It illegal, It looks dirty, and sometimes it is, but
it's legal.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
It's a hard to navigate.
Speaker 12 (05:01):
Not so for Precinct three Commissioner Tom Ramsey, who was
offered full transparency for his campaign, while calling the report
offensive and clickbait.
Speaker 4 (05:11):
Jeff Biggs News Radio seven k t.
Speaker 5 (05:14):
H more crime across the county and Houston is three
people are dead after a rampage yesterday. It started in
sugar Land. The first victim apparently was in a relationship
with the shooter. It continued at an auto shop in
southwest Uston, where two people possible witnesses, were killed and
ended when the gunman shot himself at a third location. Meantime,
(05:36):
the city announces plans for a massive new homeless super
hub just blocks away from Dykin Park, which is already
dealing with a massive homeless population.
Speaker 14 (05:46):
You got baseball games rovers all the time, and so
why would they go there? Where They go there because
they can get thirty thousand potential people giving them a
dollar each. That's quite a bit of money.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
I'll keep you going.
Speaker 9 (05:56):
So why did they go there? They go there because
that's where.
Speaker 4 (05:58):
The money is.
Speaker 5 (05:59):
Former Houston, say Councilman Greg Travis. By the way, the
city council punted on a vote yesterday to abandon Polk
Street for a two billion dollar expansion of.
Speaker 4 (06:08):
The GRB five oh six.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
Somehow this keeps happening to one bridge and one bridge
only in the city of Houston.
Speaker 15 (06:17):
The Houston Avenue Bridge at I ten is fourteen feet
high and has been hit by truck drivers seventy two
times in twenty twenty five. Krh's Skymike says it starts
with the drivers ignoring clearance signs.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
Probably ninety percent of eighteen wheeler drivers know exactly how
tall their vehicle is, how much scoots room they have.
He says.
Speaker 15 (06:38):

Here on Houston's Warn Music Again, Good morning, welcome to
the show.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
We're gonna have a lot about disrespecting folks today on
the show. In fact, I might have to do talk
back on that one about the biggest overreaction you've ever
seen to somebody doing something. What. I'll have a story.
We'll get to it a little bit later, probably this
hour or certainly next hour at the latest. Uh. It
involves a stories out of Dallas. Actually, it involves a
(07:48):
woman who ended up getting shot and killed because she
didn't say thank you. What. Yeah, she didn't say thank you.
So the other woman that they felt disrespected had got
into a big argument and she ended up shooting this
woman who didn't say thank you. So we'll get into
that a little bit later, but I'd like to start
with this. You know, we have listeners, and I appreciate you.
(08:11):
I appreciate all of you, but we have some listeners
who are what I would call the grammar police. I,
like everybody else, Every now and again, I will, you know,
throw a little grammar in there that just doesn't belong together.
It just is a mess. And I apologize if I
do it today. I apologize right up front. But there
is one thing, but I do understand it. I do
understand why people who are into proper grammar really get
(08:35):
upset or at least get aggravated when somebody misuses grammar.
I feel the same way about definitions. I get upset
when I see people who don't understand what a term
means or misuse terms. And today local media, local television
has me upset for the use of the term road rage.
(08:58):
You've heard about this shooting. We just had some of
that in the newscast. I'll have more as the morning
progresses on the story. But in a nutshell, what it
seemed to happen was is we had a woman shot
on the freeway yesterday here in Hisston, and then two
mechanics ended up getting shot, and then the guy who
shot the three people ended up shooting himself. And they
(09:20):
described all of them described the story as beginning with
road rage. And the only reason I can assume that
they went with the term road rage is because the
shooting happens on a freeway. Well, just because the shooting
happens on a freeway doesn't necessarily make it road rage.
Road Rage is aggressive for violent behavior by a driver
(09:40):
that in dangers others, escalating beyond normal anger or frustration
with traffic. You're upset about, you know, somebody tail getting,
somebody speeding, somebody cutting you off, so you flipping the finger,
or you yell at them, or or maybe you do
pull a weapon and shoot them. Heaven forbid, that's road rage.
This wasn't road rage. This was a target. A woman who
was shot was shot by a man she had a
(10:04):
relationship with, or maybe was breaking off a relationship with that.
This was a targeted assault. This is pure and simple murder.
That's not what road rage is. Can we please not
call something road rage when it's not road rage? We
do that all the time here in Houston. I see
media all the time reporting any shooting that occurs on
the highways road rage. Sometimes he doesn't have anything to
(10:26):
do with traffic. Sometimes he doesn't have anything to do
with being angry about somebody else's driving. Sometimes somebody's a
target for whatever reason. And when somebody gets shot on
the freeway and they're a target that has nothing to
do with their driving habits, it's not road rage. It's murder.
Five to ten Time for traffic and weather together, Thank you.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
When I had this big fat communist ex girlfriend that
ran over me with a car, that was not road rage.
That was just you know, oh wow, she just didn't
like you. I'll teach you to break up with me, right, yeah,
just like that. Okay, I knock myself out. I think
I knocked myself out. I hear you, Yeah, okay, I
hear me. Now, sorry boy, low road range nineteen sixty
(11:05):
Now talk about road rage. One of these days, nineteen
sixty is going to be a decent road and we're
going to be able to get down it through a
task Casita and humble in all that business. We've got
that road construction and it's on. You don't get road
rage sixty nine East texts coming down from the sticks.
We're looking at twenty two minutes in and a freeway's
rocking along.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
For now.
Speaker 4 (11:25):
Let me fix my ears and I'll be right back
at you in ten minutes. In the USA, Rbresorts dot
Com traffic center from r Katie h Top tax Defenders
twenty four hour weathers in Terry Smith joins us.
Speaker 3 (11:35):
Hey, so, what's I guess? Florida is in for kind
of a bad few days of weather. From what I hear,
they're starting off with the northeaster. Then you got a
storm out there called Jerry, and Lord knows what's coming after.
Speaker 18 (11:45):
That, right, So as far as the northeaster goes. It's
not very well organized right now, Like there's this low pressure.
Speaker 4 (11:55):
System that's going to develop.
Speaker 18 (11:57):
But for the East Coast of Florida in particular, this
is an issue because it's a prolonged period of onshore
winds and it's some rain as well. Jerry is just
kind of adding into it. Not so much for Florida though.
It may kick up some of the waves along the
East Coast, but it's going to stay pretty far out,
(12:18):
so we're not too concerned about Jerry.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Though.
Speaker 18 (12:21):
Jerry's likely to become a hurricane and may have some
impact for the Leeward Islands. Actually, they have some hurricane
or tropical storm watches i should say for the Leeward
Islands and may have some effect on Bermuda.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
But yeah, it's going.
Speaker 18 (12:36):
To be it's a big storm for the Holy East
Coast that's going to be developing towards the end of
the weekend and early next week.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
So if you're headed to the East Coast for some reason,
just be aware of that.
Speaker 18 (12:47):
Hey, if you're hanging out around here, it's super nice,
less humidity, it's so nice, sunny and dry through early
next week. Operate East to low nineties today and tomorrow.
Saturday may actually be a little bit cooler mid to
oper eighty. But what you really are going to notice
is in the morning, when you step outside, temperatures there
(13:09):
is in the sixties.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
It's like a little bit of fall has made its
way here.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
Finally. Yes, I'm so happy temperature right now seventy four

which is why I need to play it coming up next,
because it's the only place I probably have time all
morning to do it. But it's worth sharing with you.
Joe Rogan from his podcast talking about the Charlie Kirk
assassination in offering up the idea that it was a
conspiracy and that it's a conspiracy that's being covered up.
More in that story. Next, first, though, traffic and weather together,
(13:54):
and that starts with you Skenn.
Speaker 4 (13:55):
Now, let's get a little thicker now on two twenty five,
which way we're going here. I've got a stall truck,
got it on camera, eastbound passing a boulevard installed truck.
And if you're behind that, you may be effectively retired
and you just don't know it. Oh sorry, wrong line,
you may be stuck in that. Watch out, he's in
the left line. This move over to the right. It's
about a three minute scoots going this way. Skymike on

Speaker 3 (15:13):
What you need to know. He's Radio seven KTRH. By
twenty three, our time here in news is born news
and need to get through this quickly so I don't
run out of time here. Joe Rogan on his podcast
bringing up the idea that the Charlie Kirk assassination was
a conspiracy because there's a lot of things that just
don't add up.
Speaker 20 (15:32):
First of all, there was that one guy who is
the decoy. All right, So you got this guy who's
an older guy who starts yelling out, didn't he take
his pants down? He took his pants down. This guy
was at nine to eleven. He was at the Boston bombings.
All the hits is called in a fake bomb at
another place, and then he did this at this thing
(15:54):
right aft. So somehow or another, this guy has the
state of mind that the moment someone gets shot, he
yells out and says I did it, I did it
and takes his pants down or something like that. I
don't know exactly what he did. Then ready for this,
he gets arrested for child porn right away, right after
this happened, right away, he's in jail for child porn.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
Why is that?
Speaker 20 (16:15):
Well, now you can't interview him right right right, and
because when the internet people start going how do you?
How are you at all these different things like what
are the odds because someone ran it through one of
the chatch ept perplexity things like what are the odds
that this guy would be at all those different events
and be involved?
Speaker 3 (16:34):
Like zero?
Speaker 20 (16:35):
If you showed me that and you said, hey, this
is my cousin's rifle, is this any good? I'd be like,
looks like a standard bolt action rifle, looks like a
sophisticated modern scope on it.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
Sure.
Speaker 20 (16:47):
Now, apparently the narrative is that this is his grandfather's
rifle from World War One and doesn't have a serial code. Okay,
why wait, wait, wait wait, why are you using such
an old gun? Like that's kind of crazy, Like is
(17:08):
it possible that an old gun can be that accurate
if you have a gunsmith and they work on it. Yeah,
it's totally possible. You have a really good gunsmith and
he sets. If you if you're like a nostalgic person,
you're like driving an old car, you can bring it
to mechanics. They could redo the brakes. So if you
got a good gunsmith and he took a look at that,
and the action was true, and you know the bolt,
the bore is good, you know, yeah, you could conceivably
(17:30):
shoot with a gun for hundreds of years. Right, guns don't.
They don't necessarily go bad.
Speaker 4 (17:36):
They don't expire, right.
Speaker 20 (17:37):
And especially because all this stuff like the trigger and
the action and all that different stuff is replaceable, so
you could just like it's it's compartmentalized, it's components. So
if you can have a guy that's in the audience
that's yelling, I shot him, Now shoot me. I shot him,
now shoot me? And then that guy gets arrested for
child porn charges like he' said, like what is what
(17:58):
is going on here? And then you find this and
then you say, oh, he assembled it and he reassembled it.
Like this guy, First of all, how did he get
to the roof? How come nobody was looking? How come
nobody was like there's a direct line of sight between
where he's sitting and those roofs. You guys didn't check.
You don't have a drone? Like that's insane. So he's
on the roof, he shoots, he jumps from the roof.
(18:19):
He jumps down fourteen feet.
Speaker 21 (18:21):
Yeah, we saw they had didn't they have video of
him jump? Somebody had a cellphone video of him jumping.
Speaker 20 (18:24):
There's a video of him jumping. So this guy, whoever
it is, jumps off of the roof and lands. Whether
or not he's even the guy who shot him, maybe
he thought he was gonna shoot him. Maybe he's a patsy,
maybe he did it.
Speaker 21 (18:35):
I feel like he's a plant.
Speaker 4 (18:36):
Did you see the video? Do you see that?
Speaker 21 (18:37):
The person doing the investigating on his mom's Facebook? No,
you haven't seen this.
Speaker 4 (18:42):
Have you seen that?
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Jamie?
Speaker 21 (18:43):
Some dude online Facebook? Very trippy. It doesn't make any sense.
Like the more they keep looking into it, the more
they're like, this doesn't feel like a real it feels
super fabricated.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
Yeah, it never seemed to fit. It never seemed to fit.
I think there's a whole lot more involved in the
Charlie Kirk killing then we're ever going to be. It's
just another It's like the Trump assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.
There's there's more behind it than we're being told, or
ever probably will be told. All right, five twenty six,
(19:18):
It is time to take a look at your money.
As we check in with Courtney Donahoe.
Speaker 4 (19:22):
Good Morning.
Speaker 22 (19:23):

It is a five point thirty here on Houston's Morning News.
I'm Jimmy Barrett. Among our top stories this half hour,
just how effective good guys with guns are? Trump turning
up the heat on Antifa and coming up at five

they still send them through the US mail details In
the minutes ahead, you're in Houston's Morning News first, we're
(20:32):
checking out the Morning Ride. What's going on, sky mind?
Speaker 4 (20:35):
I think they have this the wrong way two twenty five.
They're showing at eastbound it looks sure does look westbound
to me? You tell me if we're right or wrong.
At sech two twenty five at passing to Boulevard, it's
supposed to be in the left Liane big O eighteen wheeler,
and I see the scooch behind it on camera seven
zero six. If you're playing the home game with me,
but the backup is actually westbound inbound, I'm gonna call
(20:56):
this westbound. And of course we've got enough trouble with
p Mex doing its turnaround and that's going to put
a lot more people on the road to twenty five.
If you need something by iten do it instead. I'm
sky might get your Generator Supercenter dot Com traffic Center.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
From our KTRH Generator Supercenter twenty four hour weather Center
Sunday today with the high temperature right about ninety one,
the complete forecast with Terry Smith of the Weather Channel's
coming up at nine minutes. Temperature currently seventy four at
your official severe weather station, News Radio seven forty KTRH.
It's timed out for the news.
Speaker 5 (21:28):
Here's Cliff Sanders, thank you very much, Jimmy five thirty
one on KTRH. Well, the soft on crime left is
not going to like this. According to new research, good
guys with guns stopped as many as sixty two percent
of active shooter incidents. The FBI claimed that number was
just three point seven percent.
Speaker 25 (21:48):
The disparity between the FBI statistics and real world numbers
might not be an accident.
Speaker 9 (21:52):
They're probably were some nefarious things happening within the FBI,
possibly under the Biden administration, to support this ideology of
gun controls.
Speaker 25 (22:01):
Retired HBD Captain doctor Greg Freeman says these new numbers
are a perfect example of why we need the Second Amendment.
Speaker 26 (22:06):
You have armed thugs, some of them are operating independently
or as organizations, and they're going around terrorizing people.
Speaker 9 (22:13):
Thank God for people to step up.
Speaker 25 (22:15):
Freeman says, it's critical to be both armed and properly
trained in how to use a firearm. Ethan Buchanan News
Radio seven forty KRH.
Speaker 5 (22:22):
The new numbers come as three people were shot and
killed across several locations across Houston yesterday. Began in sugar Land,
continued with two people killed in south West Houston, and
ended at a third location.
Speaker 27 (22:34):
Officers ride at that location they found the suspect inside
the suspect vehicle, deceased from an apparent self inflicted gunshop well.
Speaker 5 (22:43):
According to our TV partner, the woman who was killed
the first victim, was in some sort of relationship with
the shooter. No longer classified as road rage. Meantime, in Washington,
a roundtable on Antifa and the growing violence we see
in liberal cities like Portland.
Speaker 28 (22:58):
This is not activism, it's anarchy. We can't and we
will not let mask terrorists burn our buildings, attack our
law enforcement, and timidate our communities.
Speaker 5 (23:09):
Journey General Pam Bondi, the President says he plans to
designate Antifa as a foreign terrorist group. That roundtable was
interrupted by the events in the Middle East. Potential Peace
as a Mosque will release all twenty remaining living Israeli hostages.
Speaker 29 (23:26):
The President has routinely said the deal in the Middle
East is bigger than Gaza and call developments a great
day for the Arab and Muslim worlds, as well as
Israel and all surrounding nations. The President signaled he did
plan to travel to the Middle East as early as
this weekend. According to Israeli sources, the President could address
the Kanessid in Israel on Sunday.
Speaker 5 (23:48):
That's Fox's Kevin Cork and you'll hear from Trump at
six five point thirty four, No end insight to the
government shut down. In day nine, another vote to reopen
things failed in the Senate.
Speaker 30 (23:59):
I'm not sure there has ever been such a strong
contrast between two political parties. The Republican parties are delivering
for the American people and the Democrats trying to make
a show out of this.
Speaker 5 (24:09):
Now, Speaker Mike Johnson with ktrh' sean hennity. President Trump
says a standalone bill to pay military service members during
the shutdown probably will happen. There are about one point
three active duty military that could miss paychecks if this
doesn't end by next Wednesday. Elsewhere, former FBI Director James
Comey pleads not guilty to charges that he like to Congress.
Speaker 4 (24:32):
So what comes next?
Speaker 31 (24:34):
I expect that Comey's team is going to make motions,
particularly about selective prosecution and that sort of thing, and
the judge will have to rule on that, and if
the case doesn't get thrown out prior to a trial date,
we'll have a trial.
Speaker 5 (24:49):
Legal analyst Andy McCarthy Comy's trial is set for January fifth.
Republicans are demanding a full investigation that former Special Council
Jack Smith spied on several Republicans Senators. Wisconsin's Ron Johnson,
one of the victims, says this was only part of
the corruption and the Biden DOJ.
Speaker 32 (25:08):
Brennan's, the Clappers, the Komy's, the mccaids, They have created
such political turmo over the last decade. Russia and China
couldn't dream of doing the political damage to our nations.
And this cast of criminals has really pulled off.
Speaker 5 (25:22):
Johnson with ktrh's Klay Travis and Buck Sexton. Paramount has
named former New York Times editor Barry Weiss the head
of CBS News. But Fox's Joe Conscious says, don't get
your hopes up for any culture change.
Speaker 33 (25:36):
It's going to take many, many months, if not years,
to change the culture there, because you're still going to
see Margret Brennan on Sunday Mornings, being as biased as
she is, and as long as she's there, and as
long as other folks are on that network that clearly
have a bias problem if you don't want to buy
out their contracts.
Speaker 5 (25:51):
He adds that CBS still employs Gail King, who's gotten
ties to the Obamas five point thirty six. The minutes
from this September Federal Reserve meetings show that officials we're
looking at two interest rate cuts by the end of
this year. The next meeting comes at the end of
the month. But if you're selling a condo, new national
numbers show sellers outnumber buyers by seventy two percent, but
(26:14):
realtor Kenya Barrell van Werbers's condo sales in Houston are
up by four percent compared to last year. She says
the strong market points to the city's affordability and flexibility
for buyers.
Speaker 34 (26:27):
It's a diverse economy that helps us with stability and
then less regulations with condominiums.
Speaker 5 (26:32):
And warmer ants that the city also offers a diverse
market from fixer uppers to newer developments. And finally, the
State Fair continues in Dallas through the nineteenth. Then the
end of the season will also be the end of
the line for the famous log ride. It'll be retired
after it was introduced in nineteen eighty six. I'm Cloff
(26:53):
Saunders on Houston's news weather in traffic station News Radio
seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
Be Informed Be on Time, Houston's morning News continues with
Jimmy Arrett.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
Well, you know, I don't care what day or night
it is. Yeah, there are people who steal mail, and
they are getting really good at stealing bank cards and
ATM cards. And it's not even just the US mail.
I mean, first of all, I've stopped personally, I don't
use the AS mail to to send anything that is
monetary in nature because I just I've had too many problems.
(27:31):
I think we probably all have at one time or another.
But it always surprises me that when you sign up
for a bank card that they still send it through
the mail. Now, some of them have gotten a little
bit smarter and are sending it, you know, like a
FedEx or ups so that you have to sign for it,
or so that they have proof it got delivered. But
that just means that the people out there who want
(27:53):
to steal your cards have had to get a little
bit smarter. There's now sophisticated crime rings that are turning
you're stolen mail into cold, hard cash. Here's how it works.
You get a call or a text from somebody impersonating
your bank told you have to act quickly because your
count has been or is about to be compromised. But
then the crooks take it a step further. You order
(28:14):
a new card right so they're ready to pounce. When
the new card arrives, they attempt to steal the mail
that contains the new replacement debit card being sent by
the bank to your home, regardless of how it's being
sent there, because once they interrupt the new debit card,
the crooks can use the debit card to drain your account.
And they're not just out there trying to steal paper checks.
(28:34):
They're trying to figure out ways to steal debit cards
for the mail. There was one scam in Detroit where
these were all for new customers of Chase Bank. A
guy from Chicago had a complex identity theft and financial
fraud scheme targeting residents where they would figure out when
(28:56):
your new card was going to be delivered. I don't
know how they did it, But they did, and when
the ups driver pulled up, they would approach. They'd have
one of their people approached the truck to intercept the package,
you know, the sign for the package and take the package.
Then they've got your card and it never it never
got to your door. So I don't know how do
(29:17):
we deliver these things in a play in a way
that is foolproof that nobody can steal it? Is there
a way to do it? By forty time for traffic
and weather together? Sky Mike, what you got hey?
Speaker 4 (29:28):
I want all the old people to raise your hand.
Old people, raise your hands. Who's old and has lived
in Houston for a long time. I'm going to give
you something to guests here. Mark from Spring is downtown,
He's on forty five. You're peer Salivator. We call that
the peer Salvator. Terry go, Mark from Spring.
Speaker 26 (29:44):
You're celeivated southbound just by the department towers.
Speaker 12 (29:49):
There is a pickup pulled over on the right side.
Speaker 4 (29:51):
All right, old Houston people the apartment tower, raise your
hand if you know that address? Who knows that address?
They called you know what because it had a giant
that said twenty sixteen Main that's right. So it's right
there before Sanjacenter. After Smith Street southbound, it's closer to
sixty nine look out on the right side. I just
want to do a little get your brains going this
(30:12):
morning to twenty five hard hats. What do you got?
Speaker 35 (30:14):
Thanks got Mike Godney, hard work and east side so
well said, no opinion this morning, just fact and hey,
that's the same problems that they flipped the traffic. All
lanes are pinched down to the outside left lane, and
it's by that the exit to the.
Speaker 4 (30:29):
Belt weigh again just right at that PMEX turnaround too.
So here's what we've got. We've got the roadwork on
the westbound, but the eighteen wheeler is on the eastbound.
He's on the left line both ways. Two twenty five's
awfully scoochy. So let's say if you could do iten
do that instead. I'm Skymike at your Generator Supercenter dot
com Traffic Center.
Speaker 3 (30:47):
From r KTRH Generator Supercenter, twenty four hour with us.
Enter Terry Smith is with us. She's got more sunshine
coming our way, but you know what she doesn't have
coming our way?
Speaker 18 (30:55):
High humidity, high in that nice and by the way,
I object to this idea that we have old people
in Houston, Sky Mike, we have seasoned people.
Speaker 4 (31:07):
Oh my hair is seasoned. Yes, yes, it's a lovely
shade of pepper.
Speaker 18 (31:12):
Thank you, thank you very nice. Okay, ah, Yes, back
to the idea of no humidity, northerly winds, and that's
what we have, like northeasterly breeze bringing in some dryer
air from all the way from Canada.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
So the humidity is going to.
Speaker 18 (31:28):
Be noticeably lower today and the next several days, if
you can believe that.
Speaker 4 (31:33):
So there is no rain in the forecast, just sunshine.
Speaker 18 (31:36):
Temperatures are still running a little warm, in the upper
eighties to low nineties today and tomorrow and then Saturday
mid to upper eighties.
Speaker 4 (31:45):
But here's the thing.
Speaker 18 (31:46):
What you'll really notice is in the mornings, because the
humidity is low, we're in the sixties. That's a nice
little change of pace, low to upper sixties for the
next couple of mornings.
Speaker 3 (31:56):
All right, I'm gonna get up early just to enjoy that.
Right now, seventy for your officials, Severe Weather's Station News
Radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 4 (32:05):
What you need to know for the day ahead.
Speaker 2 (32:08):
This is Houston's Morning News, brought to you by New
South Windows Solutions. So I'm gonna try to make sure
this isn't too inside baseball, because, after all, I am
a member of the media. Sometimes a shamed to admit
I'm a member of the media, but I am, at
least I'd like to think I'm a member of the
good guys media. We're gonna visit with another member of
the media, Elizabeth Thames, author and Fox News contributor, about
(32:28):
an interesting thing that happened in the media yesterday, and
that is Paramount Skydance's acquisition of The Free Press and
the appointment of Barry Weiss as CBS News editor in chief.
The thing that's interesting or could be interesting about this
is that Barry Weiss works for right now, the Free Press,
which is described as a quote unquote right wing digital
(32:52):
media outlet. So does that mean that Barry Weiss is
a right winger? Will this change CBS News and CBS
News functions center for Sohio. We'll talk about it next first, though,
traffic and weather together a great voice too, Yeah, you lady.
Speaker 4 (33:09):
That's all You know what two twenty five is making
my head hurt. Jimmy First of all, we've got this
road pavement repair again. Man, somebody really messed it up.
This is two twenty five inbound before the belt and
all we have is just one lane getting by. That's
a big smash from Battleground Road going this way westbound
then eastbound. We've got that eighteen wheeler and a left line.
I'm Skymike on the USA Rvresorts dot Com traffic center.
Speaker 3 (33:32):
Hello, can you go from our KTRH generator super center
twenty four hour weather center, sunny about ninety one today,
It's gonna be slightly cooler less you mean tomorrow Sunday
and comfortable eighty nine sunny eighty seven on Saturday, sunny
in eighty nine on Sunday. Current temperature is still seventy four.
Here at your official severe weather station. News Radio seven
forty k TRH said, back to our newsroom and get
(33:55):
you an update on some of our top stories. Here's clip.
Speaker 4 (33:58):
Thank you, Jimmy.
Speaker 5 (33:58):

We will share intelligence for the very latest on interest
rates in the economy Russia.
Speaker 2 (34:28):
Youth Radio seven forty kt r H five About fifty
two our time here at us this morning news right
the Free Press described, as I said, a right wing
digital media outlet always laugh because you could tell who
wrote the article based on the use of the term
right wing.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
You know, they always throw the wing in there. Join
us to talk about it and what it potentially means
for CBS is Elizabeth Ames. She is an author, as
you know, and also a contributor at Fox News. So
I guess the assumption is because Barry Weiss, who's the
editor in chief or is going to be the editor
in chief is CBS News, is a former co founder
(35:09):
of the Free Press, that that's the direction the CBS
News is going to go. Do you think that's the direction?
Speaker 36 (35:16):
Hi, Jimmy, thank you for having me. I think that
she's going to move the CBS News away from the
far left towards the common sense center and it's not
going to be Fox News. But that's perfectly okay because
you know it's a different audience. But you know, she
basically is really heterodox is sort of the word for her.
(35:36):
She mixes it. You know, I subscribe to the Free Press.
It's a superb publication, and I mean, I'm a paying subscriber.
Speaker 3 (35:44):
Would you would you describe it, Elizabeth? Would you describe
it as right wing? How would you describe the Free Press?
Speaker 36 (35:50):
It has both sides, and it's not emotional. That's what
I like about it. It has left and right leaning
writers both. Quite a few names that you that you'd
know from the right leaning online world, but also people
from the left, people from the mainstream media. I mean
Mark Halperin, who is the former He was on MSNBC's
(36:11):
Political he was on CBS News excuse me, ABC News
as political director. He's on there. Sometimes You've got Coleman Hughes,
who's a terrific writer on race and other social issues.
Matthew Continenti Continenty Continetti of the American Enterprise Institute. She's
got a lot of different names. Uh, last night I
(36:32):
watched the analysis of the mayoral race was superb. So
she's going to bring intelligence, uh, and a mixed approach
to the news. Everybody is proclaiming, you know, the people
on the left predictably, are you know, Pearl clutching, this
is going to be state media, you know, trumpist and
(36:52):
all that, and that's total baloney.
Speaker 3 (36:55):
Well, I thought I was kind of telling you. That
tells you a lot about who's in the building of CBS.
The CBS correspondent in the article I'm looking at told
the Independent quote the fact that we don't have money
to pay journalists, but we have money to pay berry
wise between one hundred and two hundred million is indicative
of what the Ellison's true goal is here, and it's
not journalism. So they still think they're doing journalism over there,
(37:15):
not propaganda.
Speaker 36 (37:17):
Yeah, well what was journalism? I mean, the whole thing
that the CBS denied, the Hunter Biden laptop was real,
and that was get elected. That no, and that's what
they did. And so it's really laughable that they could
say that the new CBS News is going to carry
water for Trump. First of all, it's not. If you
look at the Free Press, there's plenty of articles there
(37:38):
that intelligently are critical of Trump, but not in a
hyper hysterical way, which is I think we need less hysteria.
I think we need a middle, and right now we've
got a very polarized Meeta. You've got one extreme or
the other, and you know, I think that we need
a middle, and I think the middle is rising up.
I think that's an untold story. You've got a channel
(38:01):
that I think doing pretty well called news Nation.
Speaker 4 (38:03):
It's not bad.
Speaker 36 (38:04):
I watch that sometimes. But the other thing about Barry
Wise is that she's she's got digital knowledge of the
online world, which new media, which I think is very important.
And I think the question is going to be, though,
how fast can she make changes? That's what I think.
We may not see changes right away. She might just
(38:25):
make a few, because I mean it's a you know,
she has to learn how to manage a huge operation,
and she also got.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
Can you can she drag them towards the middle without
lopping a whole bunch of heads because it seems like
virtually everybody that works there now is on the left.
Speaker 36 (38:42):
Well, as one person I was reading pointed out, there
are a lot of quiet allies that she might have,
and she's got to find out who they are. She's
got to she's got to figure out the lay of
the land, and there are many issues she's going to
have to confront. She also has got to deal with
the president of CBS News, who's going to still be there.
That's going to be I think her equal Tony Sabrowski.
(39:04):
Now she's got a direct report. She's a direct report
to David Ellison, who's the CEO and chairman of Paramount,
who bought you know, CBS. But I think the question
is she's got to really figure out all of this
before she really is able to implement changes without totally
blowing up the place.
Speaker 3 (39:24):
Yeah, don't look for changes overnight, but it'll be fun
to watch and see what happens. Thank you, Elizabeth. Elizabeth Eames,
author and Fox News contributor. It's five fifty seven.
Speaker 1 (39:35):
This is Used Radio seven kat rh Houston Live Everywhere.
Speaker 2 (39:42):
Now the latest news, weather, it's more of what matters
to you from the John Morris Services studios.
Speaker 3 (39:50):
Well again, good morning, six am is our time on
this Thursday morning. Here in Houston's Morning News, I'm Jimmy Barrett.
Among our top stories this f our Democrats had voted
verse six time the government shut down. Trump has broken
an Israel Hamastil and everybody seems to like it. And
coming up at six to eight, no more rainbow crosswalks
in Texas. Details in the minutes ahead, you're in Houston's
(40:12):
Morning News. First, we're checking out that morning Vibe once again.
Sky Mike joins us.
Speaker 4 (40:16):
To twenty five. We'd had our problems right clear the
eighteen wheeler passing the boulevard east bound. We still have
all that hoop live back from the Goodyear plant. Plus
it smells funny right there. That's on the eastbound outbound,
and then on the westbound you have this horrible pavement repair.
We're down to a left lane going that way and
backed up pretty heavily from Battleground Road. If you're trying
(40:37):
to get to Shell Plan or PMEX Now downtown forty
five mark from Spring with the banana sticker. There's a
stamp on the Pierce Elevated forty five right in front
of old People one though it was twenty sixteen Maine,
because they had a giant sign Jimmy that said twenty
sixteen Maine. That's southbound. Just watch out for the ninjas.
I'm Skymike in the USA RV Resorts dot Com traffic center.
Speaker 3 (40:58):
From r KTRH hop tax defenders twenty four hour weather centers. Sunny,
slightly cooler, less um it today with the high temperature
right about ninety one. Looks like that trend will continue
all the way through the weekend. We'll check it out
with Terry Smith. That the weather channel in eight minutes
right now, seventy three Here at your official severe weather station,
News Radio seven forty KTRH. It's time now for the news.
(41:20):
Here's Cliff Saunders and.
Speaker 5 (41:21):
We're sponsored by shopist John Deere. Our top story, So.
Speaker 6 (41:25):
Much is happening to get the hostages freed, and we
think Bill I'll be coming back on Monday.
Speaker 5 (41:32):
President Trump reacting as Israel and Hamas reach agreement. Hamas
releases the twenty living Israeli hostages. The two sides also
have a deal on phase one of a ceasefire in Gaza,
which is going over well in the Middle East.
Speaker 29 (41:45):
Thank you President Trump for your courage.
Speaker 3 (41:48):
Thank you the Common Administration.
Speaker 16 (41:49):
For doing everything you can to bring them home.
Speaker 4 (41:53):
Let's do it that.
Speaker 5 (41:55):
From a video released by the family members of hostages,
Trump says Middle Eastern nations will help rebuild Gaza after
two years of war in that the new transitional government
would be headed up by former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair.
In Washington, the shutdown is now in gay number nine
as Democrats continue to hold out for more healthcare spending.
(42:17):
Kentucky Senator Rand Paul told Katrhs, Clay Travis, and Buck Sexton,
this is over Obamacare.
Speaker 37 (42:24):
They wrote him to be temporary because they were trying
to cram a lot of spending into a reconciliation bill,
and the only way they could do it was to
make things temporary. So really this is all on the Democrats,
and eventually they will fold and they will vote to
reopen the government.
Speaker 5 (42:37):
By the way, Dems are also demanding to restore Medicare
cuts from the Big Beautiful Bill. Meantime, another vote in
the Senate failed yesterday, and there was more unhinged Democrat
weirdness exposed. California's Katie Porter, running for governor to replace
Gaven Newsom, is exposed for be rating a staffer during
a video interview.
Speaker 25 (42:58):
We're going to lose more than half a million in
Californian's dying prematurely to air pollution and other problems, and
the state could lose.
Speaker 24 (43:07):
You're out of my shocks.
Speaker 4 (43:09):

they intend to go about enforcing? It because you, know

it's one thing to make a law or a. Rule
it's another thing to enforce. It SO i would hope
that they have tied something to this other than a

Speaker 3 (53:43):
Twenty three now Here in houston's. Morning, news yeah is
it the perfect quid? Pro, quote here you scratch, My
back i'll. Scratch yours Let's Ask Charles Blaine urban. Reform
here the Majority Of Harris county commissioner's campaign dollars come
from people whose contracts. They, approve charles it's better than
having the majority of the money coming from people who
have contracts under consideration, as law as it's done after
(54:06):
the fact that the contract has. Been approved but what
can you tell us?
Speaker 13 (54:08):
About, this yeah so, it's interesting it's, eye opening but,
you know in and, of itself the reporting doesn't kind
of show us any sort of connection. Or anything what it, does,
say though is that people who have business at the
county want to give money to people who decide those
those contract decisions in. The county and it's it's similar
that you see at the city a lot of the
money from vendors going to the mayor and, to council
(54:29):
and the same thing in, the courthouse with judges getting
money from big law firms.
Speaker 4 (54:33):
And lawyers who represent who do cases in front.
Speaker 13 (54:36):
Of them they want to curry favor with the people
who make. The, decisions now the problem comes is if
you can prove that those people making the decisions are
actually swayed by, that money.
Speaker 3 (54:44):
Right exactly and, the question, of course it's not, the,
money right it's. The amount so are there limits as
far as what those campaign contributions can be not at.
Speaker 13 (54:55):
The county and that's that's probably the most alarming part of,
the story is that. THERE aren't i we kind of,
knew this but when you look at the city and
you compare the city in, the county at least the
city has some restrictions in the sense that if you
have a contract that's, being considered there's a blackout period
in which those vendors are not allowed to kind of
communicate and donate to council members and. The mayor and
you don't have those same restrictions at. The county and
(55:15):
so that's where you kind of have some concern about
what happens as these considerations are. Taking place the county's
argument is that the commissioners don't actually sit in on
these kind of the decisions on who the vendors are
going to be until they reach the table of. Commissioner's court,
but nonetheless you still want them removed from the process
if it's. Being considered so that is something that should be.
(55:36):
LOOKED at i think you're having a, blackout period.
Speaker 3 (55:38):
Wouldn't, HURT yeah i would agree. With that, you know
we have a, problem though at virtually every level of
government when it comes, to this Don't we we have
a similar problem at the state level when it comes.
TO lobbyists a lot of campaign contributions come from lobbying
groups who go into the capital and sway lawmakers to
vote yes or no on specific pieces of legislation that impact.
(55:59):
Their business, oh.
Speaker 13 (56:01):
ABSOLUTELY yeah, i mean you know this big push at
the state level to kind of kill this taxpayer. Funded
lobbying these those are folks that we have to pay
through our, tax dollars with local governments and others going
and hiring.
Speaker 4 (56:12):
A lobbyists to go and advocate.
Speaker 13 (56:13):
Against us, so yeah it's happening at, every LEVEL and
i think what we really need to be focusing on
is kind of drawing these deeper connections on when these
when this money is going to these officials and how
these the money is affecting. THEIR decisions, i mean when
you look at their reporting From, the chronicle they Single
Out commissioner ramsey and saying he's got the fardest share of.
This money but yet when you look at the dollar
about it with seventy one thousand dollars as Compared To
(56:33):
commissioner rodney els is eight hundred thousand.
Speaker 4 (56:35):
Dollars that he received during the one.
Speaker 13 (56:37):
Reporting period now you have to, ask yourself why is
one commissioner getting eight hundred thousand dollars during a reporting
period when he's not even up for reelection?
Speaker 3 (56:45):
Right now so that's the most. Larmer part and why
does the only newspaper in the City of houston just
report On the republican and how much how much money he.
MAY have i think we already know the answer to
that one, pretty clearly don't we?
Speaker 13 (56:57):
Exactly exactly and also it leads up the fact that
out of all, of them if anyone has the, Industry experiences,
commissioner rempty so of course all these people that he's
worked with for years are going to know and give
money to him because they, Trust him so they leave
out these kind of important FACTS that i think actually
provide more detail and insight into the broader. Problem HERE
but i think when you Look At commiss CHERRELLI'S as,
i mean it draws questions as to why he's receiving,
that much how much power he, actually wields and what
(57:18):
we can do to restrict some, of THAT because i
don't think any county commissioner should be in such a
position of power that that big engineering firms and firms
feel that they need to give eight hundred thousand dollars.
Speaker 4 (57:28):
During a reporting period to sway, Favor.
Speaker 3 (57:29):
Right and how do, we know by, the way how
that money is? Being spent that would be the. Other
thing is that money actually being spent on campaigning or
is that money being spent on other things to enrich the.
Candidate himself that's always a. Concern Too, charles blaine thank

Speaker 3 (01:31:44):
Two our Time here in. Houston's morning, News all right
so the city is announcing a new sixteen million dollars low.
Barrier homeless superhub i'm not exactly sure. WHAT that means
i get the impression it's not just a place to,
house the homeless but it's a place to provide city services,
for the homeless all. Of one location whatever those. Services
may be join us To Talk about greg travis. FORMER
(01:32:05):
city councilman i guess the first criticism you hear about something,
like this, is you know an anytime you have someplace
that attracts a huge number, of homeless people it can
be a negative image. For the city do you see
that as being a, Problem, With, this.
Speaker 42 (01:32:20):
Well jamie thank you for.
Speaker 9 (01:32:21):
Having, ME on.
Speaker 42 (01:32:22):
Yeah, I do actually i think this is going to be,
encouraging More homelessness and i'll talk about that in the Second.
Was im portland but the interesting part is you asked
at the beginning with your tea's is this gonna be?
A good investment and the answer is. GONNA be, no
i mean we're gonna be paying sixteen million dollars for
a property it looks like it's only worth. Around six
million and the reason for that is they're trying to
get early the homeless underneath The Bridge near dyking park
(01:32:45):
and you're only four blocks away. From that area so
why are we paying sixteen million to try to move people?
Speaker 9 (01:32:53):
Four blocks away.
Speaker 24 (01:32:56):
It just.
Speaker 42 (01:32:57):
Ignores human nature it just ignores the fact that these
people don't. Want the rules they don't want it because
it says it's gonna be, A, no barrier well that
means they can come and go. As, THEY please well
i guess what they're going to go when the baseball.
Games are playing they're going to go Four blocks To.
Dyke and park that's where, the money is that's where.
The PANHANDLING is so i don't understand why they're doing
this unless it's somebody just wants to get over to
sixteen million and give.
Speaker 3 (01:33:17):
It, to somebody, well you know and even, a perfect
world if something like this, would Actually, work RIGHT gravis
and i, AGREE with you i don't. Think it does
it only is expected to include one hundred and fifty
to two hundred and. Twenty five beds we have a
lot more, homeless than, That, don't we.
Speaker 42 (01:33:32):
Well, we do fortunately we don't have as many homeless
as other cities if.
Speaker 9 (01:33:35):
You Go, To, San francisco La.
Speaker 42 (01:33:37):
Portland or seattle but that's awesome because we, don't ENABLE
them and i don't want us to be enabling. Them
up there they Actually, pay in portland they actually pay
their people one thousand dollars a month stipend. To be
homeless so that's why people Go up to portland. And
become homeless and if you, walk around there our city's
got some, bad homeless issues but it's not as bad.
As other areas and you don't want to walk on
(01:33:58):
that slippery slope where you, start encouraging it because then
you're going to get, more people congregating and they're going
to be coming here from other cities and. They do
that oh do you ever talk to The people. On
portland streets sure they've come.
Speaker 3 (01:34:09):
From other, cities oh yeah they go to where they
think they can get the. Most benefits exactly one of
the things that the superhod though, supposedly would do that
maybe has some, good to it is that evidently they
were planning and providing, on site, healthcare psychiatric services, substance
abuse treatment and that it covers at least two out
(01:34:30):
of the. Three big ones we know that most of
the people who are homeless are homeless because they. Want
to be many of them have, mental health issues many
of them have. Substance abuse problems so you would like
to see a successful. Treatment of that maybe you can
get them out of that cycle. Of, being homeless well
and that would be.
Speaker 9 (01:34:47):
A good thing but we can still. Do that now
we still.
Speaker 42 (01:34:49):
DO that now i mean it's not that that's, not
being done it's just.
Speaker 9 (01:34:54):
This is going to be done.
Speaker 42 (01:34:55):
At this, facility but again you're not gonna what about,
people that, are you.
Speaker 9 (01:34:59):
Know a mile away or Over on the galleria area
that we've got some. Homeless over there they're not going
to go all the way down there for. This HOMELESS
treatment but.
Speaker 42 (01:35:06):
I do, agree with that, and here's why because when
the public out there, thinks of homeless they think of
the mother with two kids who just lost their house.
Or divorced whatever but most of these people. Are mentally
ill and that's what we have to costume on is
the mental illness and what they do with their, drug
of choice whether, it be heroin, meth or alcohol is
they're trying to overcome the pain and they're trying to
(01:35:27):
that's their. Treatment of choice so you've got to take
care of. That mental illness but you know the best
way to, do that, Is You know president trump is
talking about reistuding, the mental institutions and there's a lot of,
pushback on that but obviously you got to be cruel
to be kind sometimes because it's better to these people
be in a facility with, a warm, bed hot shower
(01:35:48):
and three meals a day getting psychiatric treatment to be.
Speaker 3 (01:35:50):
On, the streets well here's the. Bottom line too sixteen
million dollars is a big expenditure for a city that.
Has financial issues we're.
Speaker 42 (01:35:59):
Spending more, not on homeless we're spending over. One hundred
million if you look at all the. NGOs are involved
Just pull up. Houston homeless shelters almost everyone that pulls
up on your website is on The city doll they
get some money somewhere because we've, afforded those NGOs non
government organizations.
Speaker 9 (01:36:17):
To, treat this facility to.
Speaker 42 (01:36:19):
Treat this issue so there's a lot of money going out.
TO the homeless i don't have a problem taking care,
of the problem but let's just do it where we
get the most benefit.
Speaker 3 (01:36:32):
For, THE bucks well i think you're saying that there's,
money well spent there's. Money that's wasted and if we're
spending one hundred million dollars and we still have, a
homeless problem then obviously the bunny's not being. Very, well spent.
Speaker 42 (01:36:42):
Exactly it's not and again it's also not done in
just one. In one tratch it's done, to this group,
to that group, to this group and under this guy's.
Under that guys and so when you, look at it
looks like, ten million here, five million here, eight million
there but when you add, them all together it's over.
Speaker 9 (01:36:59):
One, hundred million yeah a.
Speaker 3 (01:37:01):

shooting himself they've all been reporting it. As road rage
here is the report from OUR television. Partner kprc too.
Speaker 43 (01:45:13):
We've Learned from sugar land police that the road rage
incident was not random and the shooter was in a
relationship with that woman he is. Accused of killing now Out,
here in houston there is no longer a crime scene

Speaker 3 (01:47:05):
Road rage, story you know as they began with that a,
Road raid incident this was not a. Road rage incident
he had a relationship. With this woman he didn't his
gun out and shoot up the car because she had
flipped him off while while tailgating or cutting him. Off
(01:47:25):
for it that's a, road rage incident right when when
what somebody is doing on the road makes you so
angry you resort to violence or some other type. Of
negative act that's. Not road. Rage that's murder that's. All
that is that's a guy had a relationship and in,
dollars to donuts how much you want to bet that
