Also topping the news, President Donald Trump won't back off
his pressure campaign on Venezuela and its dictator, Nicholas Maduro
stepped down or face the consequences.

He could do whatever he wants, its air right, whatever

over that country's drug trade, calling Petro a quote troublemaker,
and he announced the creation of the Golden Fleet. It's
a series of warships to be officially named Trump Class,

the administration suspended the leases for offshore wind projects, calling

it a national security concern. Interior Secretary Doug Bergham says,
the speed of the blade mess is with radar systems.

These projects, they create radar clutter, they create radar shadows.

He said the White House will work with companies on
how to mitigate issues during this pause, it's now five
oh three. Well, there they go again. The liberal Houston
Chronicle goes after Mayor John Wickmeyer and police for simply
cooperating with ICE. Police Officers Union president Doug Griffith says
the Kron's latest editorial even claims ICE is arresting illegal

aliens based on how they look.

Their job is to evoke an emotional response, and that's
all they're trying to do. They did the same thing
with the story about fifty year old migrant child who's autistic.
He has never been tested. They can't prove his autistic
yet they use it in several of their headlines. It's
just another fell attempt for them trying to be relevant.

Yeah, the Kron wants Wickmyer to be more like the
New Orleans mayor and quote stand up to ICE. And
then there's the left wing Texas Tribune and it's got
to do narrative against deportations. Several pros, including Harris County's DA,
claimed deportations are affecting criminal prosecutions.

They cided concerned left wing prosecutors like Shawn Tier and
immigration lawyers.

These are people that have no real interest in being
tough on crime. Or addressing the p legal immigration in
their jurisdiction.

Chris Russo with Texans for Strong Borders says, if illegal
alien testimony is critical in a case, they can get
at visa.

To the extent that these prosecutors are seeking, that that's
the solution, not ramping down immigration enforcement.

If anything, it should be the other way.

Ruso also pointed out that in places where we've seen

Thank you so much for joining us. I'm Bob Franz
sitting in for Jimmy this Tuesday morning of Christmas week. Wonderful,
wonderful week to come. Obviously, Christmas Eve tomorrow, Christmas Day,
on Saturday. But we're gonna prime you with all of
the news that you need to know this morning, because
guess what, even though the holidays come, the news does

(07:36):
not stop. And how about it, the Trump administration giving
an early Christmas present to illegal aliens as long as
they well do their part. We're gonna give you triple
the amount of money we were gonna give you last
week and have been giving you all year long to
get out, say goodbye, get out of the country. This

(07:59):
is literally the new plan, at least for the time being,
and that is to give not just one thousand dollars
to illegal aliens who self deport but three thousand dollars.
What a big deal. I mean, in all seriousness, it
has already been a really, really huge success because you know,
most people in the media and people who rely on

(08:20):
the media for their news, unfortunately, you know, they're focused
on you know, Ice and there they're focused on the
Trump Administration's efforts to you know, grab violent and dangerous
and criminal illegal aliens off of the streets, especially those
who have been given their final orders of deportation. And
then some others who are illegal illegal gets swept up

(08:40):
in those as well, whether they have crimes or not,
you know, behind their names. But that's what the faith
of the deportations. Roughly two point six million deportations this year,
but the overwhelming majority of those about one point nine
million illegal deportations of a legal aliens or self deports

(09:02):
that's the overwhelming majority using the CBP home app. Obviously
that Christinome and President Trump repurposed, which is, by the way,
just all kind of awesome. I love that entire thing.
You know. Biden created the CBP one app to help
illegal aliens request parole to stay in the country, and
President Trump said, well, as long as the system is

(09:24):
already in place. When he came in, President Trump said, yeah,
let's make CBP one the CBP Home Act. And instead
of staying, you proved to us that you left, and
we will give you one thousand dollars and then you
will be allowed to potentially apply for legal permission to
come back into the country. So that's what this program
is about. And now they're putting it up on steroids,

if you will. According to the Department of Homeland Security
website and I'm looking at it right now, increased incentives
DHS now offering three thousand dollars holiday stipend through the
end of the year via the CBP Home app for
legal aliens to leave now. Quote. Since January twenty twenty five,
one point nine million illegal aliens have voluntarily self deported

and tens of thousands have used the CBP Home program
during the Christmas season. The US taxpayer is so generously
tripling the incentive to leave voluntarily for those in this
country illegally, offering a three thousand dollars exit bonus, but
just until the end of the year. Illegal aliens should
take advantage of this gift and self deport because if

they don't, we will find them, we will arrest them,
and they will never return. End quote that came directly
from DHS Secretary Christinome self deportation says the app or
the website, I should say the DHS website through the
CBP Home app is the best gift and illegal can
give themselves and their families this holiday season. It's fast,

free and an easy process. Just download the app, fill
out your information. DHS will take care of the rest,
including arranging and paying for your travel back home. Those
of the legals who don't take advantage of this special
offer today have only one alternative. They will be arrested, deported,
and will never be able to return to the United States.
The generous thing that we're doing as taxpayers. How about that?

we'll talk a little bit about welfare, talk a little
bit about the cost to the American people, and talk
about immigration. They all go in hand in hand. More
than one hundred and twenty five congressional Democrats are pushing
the Trump administration to withdraw a proposed rule that would

(14:15):
open the door to denying a person a green card
if they use public assistance, including medicaid food staffs. According
to Representative Adriano Spilot. Spilot don't know them from New York,
Chair of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. Quote, the proposal punishes
families for caring for their children. It would scare parents

(14:37):
away from health care, food assistants, and early education that
US citizen children are legally entitled to, putting kids at
risk and destabilizing entire communities. End quote. May I just
say so, You're right, US children are entitled to those
things because US citizen children are actually what's the word

(15:01):
I'm looking for? They entitled, like the word entitled. But
US citizen children are basically paid for their educations, their
health and so on and so forth. They're paid for
by US taxpayers. Illegal aliens who are in this country
or legal immigrants who are in this country who are
doing nothing but soaking up the resources. What are they contributing?

(15:22):
That's the reason why this has to happen. eSPI Lot
went on to say, quote Congress never intended public charge
to be used this way, and we are demanding DHS
withdraw this harmful proposal before it inflicts real and lasting
damage on American families. The DHS proposal would rescind a
world adopted in twenty twenty two under Biden that reinstated

a long standing but relatively narrow definition of quote public charge.
The twenty twenty two rule defined a public charge as
someone primarily dependent on government assistance, particularly people receiving cash
assistance for income maintenance or nursing home care at government expense.
Most non cash benefits, such as medicaiding food stams, did

not count toward a public charge determination under that rule.
The new proposal argues that that Biden era policy is
a straight jacket on immigration officers that prevents them from
considering all factors and information relevant to an alien's likelihood
at any time before becoming a public charge. So what
does that mean? Bigger picture? It means that this country

cannot continue to afford to pay for every need of
every immigrant into this country from other places. We're going
to have to encourage and incentivize them to return on
their own. This will tie to the previous story about
the DHS CBP home app. I'll make that connection after

Okay, So here's the rest of that story and why
the Trump administration is going to rescind that rule, that
Biden era rule and essentially tell Green card holders that
if you are on public assistance, you can't stay on
public assistance, you got to go. Former Senator Phil Graham
and former Assistant Commissioner at the Bureau of Labor Statistics

John Early wrote a piece for The Wall Street Journal
pointing out the other great fraud of welfare in the
United States. According to them and their article in the Journal, quote,
something is profoundly wrong with the US welfare system, a
problem that runs deeper and is more dangerous than the
shocking fraud in Minnesota that has been making headlines Across

the past half century, America has seen what in any
other country would be considered a golden age in which
lower income households have made incredible progress. Despite the end
of our postwar economic dominance around nineteen seventy five. The
country's real per capita gross domestic product grew by one
hundred and forty two percent from nineteen si seventy four

(20:00):
to twenty twenty four. More than two thirds of US
households have inflation adjusted incomes today that would have put
them in the top one fifth of households in nineteen
sixty seven. Sixty two percent of the children who grew
up in the porous fifth of all households in the
seventies and eighties, worked their way up to a higher
income bracket as adults, some all the way to the

top quintile. Yet, even as our economy has experienced these
broad based growth metrics, real federal welfare spending has soared
by seven hundred and sixty five percent, more than twice
as fast as total federal spending now and now costs

(20:44):
one point four trillion dollars annually. Let me say that again,
one point four trillion dollars annually in welfare given away
by the taxpayers. Where that money sets doled out evenly
to the nineteen point eight million families the government defines

(21:05):
us poor. That means each household would receive more than
seventy thousand dollars a year. The source of this dramatic
mismatch is fraud built into how various programs determine welfare eligibility.
The government doesn't count any refundable tax credits or benefits

(21:25):
that aren't paid in cash as income to the recipients,
So this is just that's obscene. There are roughly, according
to the report, again by former Senator Phil Graham, and
Assistant Commissioner at the BLS John Early nineteen point eight
million families in America are defined as poor. One point

(21:49):
four trillion dollars annually is given out to those defined
as poor. That comes to an average of more than
seventy thousand dollars a year per household. That's got a change,
and that's why I'm tying that to the previous story
about illegal immigrants in this country, or immigrants who are
here with green cards perhaps having those revoked simply because

we cannot continue to afford to feed and clothes and
howse and provide medical care and education for everyone, because
it is costing the American citizens far, far, far too much.
So that's a that's a pretty grim look at it,
but it's something that needs to be looked at, and
thankfully we've got some people who are paying attention and
making recommendations to the president. All Right, it is a
