started this morning, Trump leaves the g seven early to
meet with his National Security Council. That Katie activists went
to Austin with a gun and coming up at five
o' eight. Mayor Whitmeyer wants to tackle road rage. Let's
help him. Details in the minutes ahead. Here Houston's Morning News. First,

from Skymike.
Speaker 4 (00:45):
Over way, and no one will get mad at you.
Speaker 5 (00:48):
It's so simple, all right, check in my little pocket
radar here. I'm not seeing any showers on the screen.
I had a nice dry ride in from the Ghetto
House this morning. But we do have this problem on
a Katie Freeway that's outbound. There's some wreck in the
frontage right, it's not affecting the mainlines per se. We'll
get some reverendecking later. But there's a lot of flashy lights.
(01:08):
Whatever's going on on that feeder doesn't look good either,
So stay on your mainline, stay out of trouble. Inbound
from Katie Mills twenty eight minutes in. I'm Skymike in
the Generator Supercenter dot Com Traffic Center.

Here's Cliffs on Toy.
Speaker 6 (01:41):
Thank you, Jimmy, and good morning everyone. It's five oh
one on KTRH. Our top story. Tough talk from Trump.
Speaker 7 (01:48):
I didn't say I was looking for Siswell, that was
e Manuel. Nice guy, but he is to get it
right too often. But we're not looking we're looking for Bender.
Speaker 6 (01:57):
Then President Trump on Air Force Ron returning from the
G seven summit early saying he is not looking for
a ceasefire between Israel and Iran on truth socially posted
quote everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran. He's meeting with his
security team at the situation room this morning. The Iranians
have taken heavy losses because of these are Israeli strikes.
(02:20):
They've gone from making threats to now wanting to negotiate.
Speaker 8 (02:24):
The US and Iran are also discussing the possibility of
a meeting this week between US Envoy Steve Wokopf and
Iranian foreign minister. Those talks would center on a nuclear
deal and an end to the war between Israel and Iran.
Speaker 6 (02:37):
The USS Nimitz carrier group has been deployed to the region.
Fox's Ashley Stromayer reporting there new Poland shows that only
forty five percent of Americans support Israel's actions against Iran.
That includes just thirty two percent of Democrats. Political analyst
Jake Novak says this has to do with where the
left gets its money.
Speaker 9 (02:57):
The Justice Apartment, they're going to have to start looking
more into who's the funding some of these protests, and
we've already seen a decent amount of evidence showing that
there is a financial trail here. So this isn't just
all organic partisanship and his family squabble.
Speaker 6 (03:09):
Six and ten Republicans said they supported the strikes. It's
now five three and we're learning more about the threat
to the capitol on Saturday, in which a Katie man
has been taken into custody.
Speaker 10 (03:20):
He was a person on the capitol grounds with the
god who seemingly had the intent to do harm to.
Speaker 6 (03:27):
A legislator, Governor Greg Abbott Indenton. The man identified as
Robert Lee Bowers or TV partner Channel two reports.
Speaker 11 (03:35):
DPS was at his house yesterday.
Speaker 6 (03:38):
This is all after the man charged and assassinating a
Minnesota state representative appeared in court.
Speaker 12 (03:44):
Vance Belter will face federal counts of murder and stalking,
along with state counts of first degree murder and attempted
murder being sought. Belter researched and surveilled as victims prior
to the shootings. The next federal court hearing is set
for June twenty.
Speaker 6 (04:00):
That's Gernald Scott and we know that Belter had more
than forty names on a supposed hit list. They included
a pair of Texas Democrat Congressman Joaquin Castro of San
Antonio and Veronica Escobar of l passim it's now five
to Zho four. We had another ICE protest against ICE,
I should say, last night in Austin, and we now
(04:20):
know that three police officers in Austin were injured during
Saturdays supposedly peaceful anti Trump protests attended by the same
riers that caused issues at the Capitol earlier in the week.
Speaker 13 (04:33):
We started seeing some of the same folks that were
involved in Monday's issues start to try to cause the same.
Speaker 6 (04:40):
Issues, the APD Union's Michael Bullock on Austin television. Meantime,
deportations continue here, as ICE in Houston says a recent
operation resulted in the arrest of three hundred criminal illegal
aliens convicted in other countries for crimes including murder. Bordersark
Tom Homan is responding to and Trump's directive to expand
(05:02):
operations in sanctuary cities LA, Chicago and New York.
Speaker 14 (05:06):
I've said for two months sanctuary cities, how we deal them?
Speaker 4 (05:09):
We flud the zone, Oman on Fox last night.
Speaker 6 (05:11):
But there is this a warning that Congress needs to
act to keep the deportations going.
Speaker 15 (05:18):
ICE needs more funding from the Big Beautiful Bill.
Speaker 16 (05:22):
The work quickly that Congress can actually get that bill
of the President's desk, the better positioned ice and border
patrol will be to carry out their duties.
Speaker 15 (05:31):
That's andrew Ard Arthur, Resident fellow at the Center for
Immigration Studies.
Speaker 16 (05:37):
I think that Congress increasingly understands the urgency of that
immigration funding and that it will actually provide that money
in due course.
Speaker 15 (05:45):
The White House would like to have the bill passed
by July fourth. Jeff Biggs News Radio seven forty K
Thiery and too that incident.
Speaker 6 (05:53):
Majority Leader John Thune continues to lobby his caucus to
get behind the bill.
Speaker 17 (05:58):
It's about securing the border. It's about modernizing our military.
It's about making sure that we are energy dominant heading
into the future. There are a whole bunch of futures
this bill, and perhaps even most importantly to a lot
of people is it's got the biggest spending reduction in history.
Speaker 6 (06:13):
Meantime, Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson says he's a no vote
for now five oh six. A move by the President
has some local commercial fishermen concerned.
Speaker 18 (06:23):
When the President signed an executive order earlier this year
to raise the catch limit on Gulf of America waters,
there were first concerns about overfishing, especially of red snapper,
but now there's concerned by commercial interests that recreational fishermen
and women will draw too much of the fishing stock.
And seven ninety Weekend host Doug Pike says, I don't.
Speaker 19 (06:43):
Think that commercial fishermen really believed that the red snapper
population is going down.
Speaker 4 (06:49):
I think they just want to make sure that they hang.
Speaker 20 (06:52):
On to theirs.
Speaker 18 (06:53):
I'm Mike Shiloh Newest Radio seven forty ktright and.
Speaker 6 (06:57):
The Astros lose to the A's three to one pregame

and a half games ahead of the Mariners in the
Al West. I am Cliff Saunders on Houston's News. Whether
in traffic station News Radio seven forty ktrh.
Speaker 21 (07:12):
When events are happening, people knew that something was gonna happen.
Speaker 20 (07:15):
Check in the big trade deal India and Pakistan.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
Lepope elected these Radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
Five a ways, it's our time here in Houston's morning news.
All right, Mayor John Whipmeyer evidently decided that he wants
to tackle traffic. Now that's that tign's listened to things
to tackle. You got to you gotta give him credit.
He's not afraid to tackle things that are pretty hard
to solve. Uh, there's a new traffic initiative. I don't
know if you've noticed this or not, but there's been
a lot more you know, flashing lights up and down
(07:48):
I forty five and fifty nine. It's because those two
freeways have been singled out for road rage and aggressive
driving problems. So they've like three hundred tickets in the
last couple of weeks. They have a lot more police
officers out there. They're looking for people who are obviously speeding,
reckless driving, tailgating, and road rage. And the road rage
(08:13):
is the real, big sticky problem here. We've had more
road rage incidents in the last year. I think there's
something like eighty four road rage incidents in the Greater
Houston area compared to like ten if you go back
about ten years ago. So we've had an escalation of
road rage. And the question is what's leading to the
(08:36):
additional road rage. We had bad traffic ten years ago.
Why are people more angry today in acting out in
a way they weren't acting out ten years ago. Now
I'm going to do a question to day on this one.
All you have to do is go to the iHeartRadio
app KTRH MEGAS number one in your preset. Please hit
the talkback button you get up to thirty seconds. First
(08:57):
thing where you're calling from your ideas to curb the
road rage problem. And although I'm guessing we'll get a
lot of suggestions about the behavior of other drivers that
makes you angry or leads to road rage, I think
part of the solution also has to be within ourselves.
(09:18):
Why do we react so angrily? Why are we more
angry now than we were, say, ten years ago. Why
are we acting out this way? Why do we feel
the need to take a gun and shoot at somebody
or or you know, or flip them off or cut
them off, or because something happened on the road that
(09:38):
made you angry. You know, part of the problem is
our reaction as much as it is the thing that
other driver was doing to drive you crazy. Five point
ten time for traffic and weather together.
Speaker 5 (09:48):
Why can't we just act as icebreakers? I mean, I
love the police. I'm not criticizing a police, I'm criticizing
the deployment, the way management deploys them. Why can't we
as police get the left lane, throw your lights on,
open up that left lane and get people over. You
could act as icebreakers, just an idea, okay.
Speaker 4 (10:09):
And also in force the left lane.
Speaker 5 (10:12):
Start writing people up for at least give them warning
tickets for blocking p If there's fifty people behind you,
you're the problem.
Speaker 3 (10:18):
All right, let's go to the Katie Bunk has a
left lane problem. So yeah, yeah, I could really on this.
Speaker 5 (10:24):
Katie Freeway outbound the feeder road at Kirkwood. That's a wreck.
I don't think anything's happening down there on the street level.
The main lanes are okay. I don't think anything good's
happening on the street level. Mainlanes are opened. By this
We're in good shape and we're twenty six minutes now

Speaker 4 (10:42):

from the rain.
Speaker 15 (11:07):
Yeah, just some isolated showers and thunderstorms ahead of us,
mainly during the afternoon. Otherwise we'll start off with the
clearest guy and we'll see a lot of sun for
the bulk of the afternoon. Today's high near ninety that
he did index, though may creep up into the triple
digits when you factor in the humidity with winds out
of the south and southwest overnight clear down to seventy eight.
We'll see sunshine initially tomorrow, that a few afternoon feaderstorms
developing with the high year ninety and more of the
(11:28):
same for Thursday and Friday, some early sunshine followed by
a few scattered afternoon thuaderstorms as highest at the low nineties,
and that pattern of afternoon storms will continue.

Windows Solutions. Now back to Jimmy Barrets and the Houston
Morning News team all the info you need to take
on the day.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
So what do you guys say about President Trump? When
he basically is told he can't do something, or he
shouldn't do something, or you'll want to protest against something
he's doing, he basically doubles down on it, which is
what he's doing right now with ICE, sending more ICE
agents into Los Angeles and Chicago, in New York, in
(12:16):
other sanctuary cities. So you tell him you don't want
him there, you don't want Ice there, you don't want
them apprehending illegal aliens. Okay, we're gonna we're going to
increase our efforts more in that story coming up next,
first of at five twenty. Let's do a little traffic
and weather together as we check you to give us
sky Mike, all.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
Right, let's go. Let's go to the Kadi side again.
Speaker 5 (12:35):

Speaker 4 (12:54):
I don't speak jibe, but it sounds good.
Speaker 5 (12:56):
On two ninety East Tech Scott, Newkney guy, Mike, like
you said, people want to be in the left lane
going the speed limit.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
I think they should make it.
Speaker 4 (13:04):
From lest or right ninety eighty seventy sixty boom right there. Yeah,
it's a big banana sticker.
Speaker 5 (13:09):
I'm in the USA Rvresorts dot Com traffic center from
our KTRH top tax Defenders twenty four hour weather center.
Speaker 3 (13:16):

afternoon pop up shower storm right about ninety mostly Sunday.
Tomorrow thirty percent afternoon shower storm chance high in your
ninety and then Thursday, mostly Sunday with a forty percent
chance a pop up shower storm in the afternoon. It's
pretty much to the forecast for the rest of the summer.
Speaker 4 (13:31):
I think.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Well, the President's not raise I said, to double down.
He's doubling down on ice, doubling down on picking up
illegal immigrants, and sanctuary states and sanctuary cities. Here is
the President saying that, And of course we as always
have some reaction to what the President has to say.
Speaker 24 (14:32):
You did a post last night.
Speaker 25 (14:33):
Where you said you want it's a really target democratic.
Speaker 21 (14:35):
I want them to focus on the cities because the
cities are where you really have. What's called sanctuary cities,
and that's where the people are. I look at New York,
I look at Chicago. I mean, you've got a really
bad governor in Chicago and a bad mayor, but the
governor is probably.
Speaker 4 (14:50):
The worst of the country. Biden allowed twenty one.
Speaker 21 (14:52):
Million people to come into our country. Of that, vast
numbers of those people were murderous killers, people from gangs,
people from jails, the empty day jails out into the US.
Most of those people are in the cities, all blue cities,
all Democrats run cities, and they think they're going to
use them to vote.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
It's not going to happen.
Speaker 26 (15:14):
I mean, they say they want the criminals out, but
then they shelter them in the sanctuary cities and they say.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
They're not voting.
Speaker 26 (15:19):
But anytime you try to pass voter ID, they're.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
Like, oh, no, you can't, it's racist.
Speaker 26 (15:24):
And then they say, oh, well, you know, these people
aren't here to take American jobs, and they're like, oh.
Speaker 4 (15:28):
You can't deport them.
Speaker 11 (15:29):
Who's going to wash my lettuce.
Speaker 26 (15:31):
Nothing the Democrats are saying is consistent. Now, Donald Trump
has to target the cities because that's where they're clustered.
Speaker 4 (15:39):
But he also has to.
Speaker 11 (15:39):
Go after the job sites because.
Speaker 26 (15:41):
That's going to get a lot of attention and it's
going to make bosses not want to hire illegals. They
just did a raid at a site in Oklahoma, I
think it was a meat processing plant.
Speaker 11 (15:51):
They swept up a bunch of illegals.
Speaker 26 (15:52):
And the next week they posted job openings and they
got overwhelmed with resumes from Americans, because Americans will do
these jobs if you just pay them a fair wage.
Remember during the pandemic, we used to do segments about
how this was like a worker's market and all these
wages were going up and these companies couldn't find anybody
and like you could have your choice where you wanted
(16:14):
to work and what benefits. You know, what happened, Biden
let in twenty million illegals and it just dropped the
wages to the dirt. And then it's like economic treason
to do that. So you have to really make sure
American wages go up so they can buy cable TV, news,
could subscriptions, because that's what this is really all.
Speaker 3 (16:33):
About, is that what was all about Jesse Waters, Okay,
wages are going up. We're seeing that already wages are
starting to go up. I mean, let's take that meat
packing or meat processing plant. I don't know if you've
ever been in a meat processing plant before. It's not
very pretty place to be. The smell alone will make
the average person a little queasy. So that is a
(16:55):
place that employs a lot of not just illegal aliens,
but sex offenders and other people that you wouldn't normally
employ for like a retail job or somewhere out in
the public. A lot of those people I'm not by
the way, I'm not saying don't think I'm saying everybody
works at the meat processing plant fits that description. But
(17:17):
there are plenty of people who do. But here's here's
what we're gonna see. We're gonna see wages go up.
Because the only way you can attract Americans to do
a tough job like that is to pay them enough
money to make it worth their while. So they're going
to have to increase wages. Now, maybe they'll be a
little inflation involved in this. Maybe that'll, you know, drive
the price of meat up even a little bit more
(17:38):
than what it is already. But considering how much money
we have spent on educating illegal aliens and incarcerating them
and all these other things. I think it's a fair trade.
I think it's more than a fair trade. All right,
five twenty six. Time to take a look at your money.
Jeff fellingers here, good morning, and Jimmy, good morning to you.
Speaker 27 (17:56):
Stock's posted some solid gains yesterday, but in misters are
unsettled again this morning. After a warning from Israel's military
to residents of Tehran, stock market futures are lower and
oil prices are rising. Israel advised more than three hundred
thousand Iranians to evacuate the capital city. It has become
common for the workday to encroach on workers downtime. Microsoft
(18:19):
analyze the use of its business applications for its annual
work Trend study out today. It found increases in the
number of meetings that start after eight pm and in
the number of users who monitor their work in boxes

Speaker 6 (20:35):
Good morning everyone. It's five point thirty one on KTRHR.
Speaker 4 (20:38):
Top story.
Speaker 29 (20:38):
Well, we see the death penalty. It's too early to tell.
That is one of the options for several of the charges, though.
Speaker 6 (20:42):
That is US Attorney Joseph Thompson is the accused Minnesota assassin.
Vance Belcher was in court for the first time yesterday
charged with killing a state rep and her husband in
one shooting, wounding a state senator and his wife and
another and now we know he was stalking several other
local officials as well. Here at home, a Georgia man
induided for threatening two US Senators, including Texas's Ted Cruz.
(21:06):
Official say Robert Davis Forney left voicemails for Cruise threatening
sexual violence against him and his family.
Speaker 4 (21:13):
It's now five point thirty two.
Speaker 30 (21:15):
We believe that Iran, as president has said from the beginning,
should not have a nuclear weapon. That position hasn't changed.
They can give it up peacefully. That position hasn't changed.
And as a result, right now we've got assets in
the region and we're going.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
To defend them.
Speaker 6 (21:27):
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Fox as President Trump leaves
the G seven in Calgary, early, posting to truth Social
that coach everyone should immediately get out of Tehran. The
Israelis say they have killed Arron's top military commander. Fox's
Trade Inks reported overnight loud explosions over Tel Aviv as

for oil prices and what this is doing to the
oil market right now, they are up a dollar eight
over nine to seventy two dollars and eighty five cents
a barrel. Gasoline price is up again across Houston to
two seventy two a gallon. The state wide average now
up three cents to two seventy six. Texas is allocating
(22:08):
hundreds of million dollars to power up though with nuclear energy.
The legislature approved a new three hundred and fifty million
dollars state fund to build advanced nuclear energy projects. David
Holt with the Consumer Energy Alliance says many people still
have an outdated idea of nuclear power.
Speaker 25 (22:24):
There's really no waste in these new nuclear plants. They
can be scaled up or scaled down depending on what
your energy needs are. And they're really modern and efficient,
frankly wonderful technology.
Speaker 31 (22:34):
And he notes unlike wind and solar, it is a
steady source of clean energy as demand for electricity in
Texas is projected to rise by seventy percent over the
next decade. Corey Ulson, who's Radio seven forty KTI eight it.

Rate cuts is growing as the FED begins its June
meeting today, Greg Ipp of The Wall Street Journal says
a slightly weaker labor market is a good reason that
cut rates, but it's all up to Federal Reserve Chairman
jer own Powers.
Speaker 32 (23:13):
You might hear them start to talk in a way
that suggests that their assessment risks is shifting away from
worrying mostly about inflation and perhaps towards worrying more about employment.
If that were the case, and I would expect people
to start thinking about a rate cut in July.
Speaker 4 (23:28):
He claims.
Speaker 6 (23:28):
The Fed will push politics aside claims being the operative word,
speaking of which, small business optimism is rising, but don't
expect to hear that from the mainstream media. Holly Wade
with the National Federation of Independent Business as confidence jumped

Speaker 33 (23:45):
Economic conditions, sales and expectations improved for many small or
they're expecting sales to improve. Many small business owners see
kind of a light.
Speaker 4 (23:56):
At the end of the tunnel.
Speaker 6 (23:57):
While the media blames the tariffs for economic uncertainty, small
businesses are still hiring, spending and reporting improved outlooks also
helping things, at least in Texas. Property tax relief signed
by Governor Greg Gabbott in Denton yesterday. SB four raises
the homestead exemption to one hundred and forty thousand dollars.
(24:18):
Senate Bill twenty three raises the exemption for seniors up
to two hundred thousand bucks.
Speaker 32 (24:23):
We'll never back up from that commitment to Texas taxpayers.
It's a great day for Texas sax bearers.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
Let's hear it.
Speaker 6 (24:31):
Houston State Senator Paul Bettencourt wrote both bills. Local doctor
Mary Tally Boden says state lawmakers did not do enough
to protect your medical freedom this session. Specifically, hospitals are
still forcing workers to get the COVID shot.
Speaker 34 (24:46):
There are many lawmakers from Texas that have signed the pledge,
there are significantly more that haven't. I don't have much
faith in Texas and the medical freedom area.
Speaker 6 (24:57):
She says that medical freedom has passed in other states
like Idaho. Five thirty six more violent crime across the
city last night, two shootings, two men hospitalized, one in
critical condition. HPD has been cracking down on illegal after
hours clubs and getting criticized for it by the left
and the mainstream media claim it's not worth it.
Speaker 35 (25:19):
The fact is these clubs are hotbeds for serious and
often violent crimes.
Speaker 32 (25:23):
They are as detriment to public safety. I don't know
why you wouldn't want to see the value in putting
the pressure on these types of clubs.
Speaker 35 (25:31):
Andy Con with Crime Stoppers says even if raids at
these clubs only result in minor charges, they should continue.
Speaker 32 (25:37):
It's not the actual issue of how many people are
arrested in what they're charged with, is the fact that
they're operating illegally.
Speaker 35 (25:44):
Con also pointed to examples of human and drug trafficking
inside these clubs as reasons why shutting them down is

Speaker 3 (26:15):
Our time here in Houston's boring news road Rage. This morning, Yep, yep,
Maryor John Whitmeyer wants to cure the road rage problem
here in Houston. Here is the report from our television
partner KPRC too.
Speaker 36 (26:25):
We've all seen bad driving on our highways like I
forty five and US fifty nine, Houston. Maryor John Whitmyer
says it's gotten out of control and it's time for change.
We drove on forty five and fifty nine on Monday.
We spotted one driver running a red light, several tailgators,
and a few who cut us off.
Speaker 5 (26:43):
We're gonna focus more and more on traffic enforcement Houston, Marya.
Speaker 36 (26:47):
John Whitmyer says the bad driving, including road rage, has
gotten out of hand. He announced the launch of a
new traffic safety initiative targeting these two highways.
Speaker 37 (26:56):
I think that's a great idea if law enforcement are
going to actually be out there.
Speaker 36 (27:02):
Reverend Roland Muton lost his identical twin brother, Pastor Ronald Muton,
to a road rate shooting three years ago. It happened
on the I forty five feet road near Gold Street.
Speaker 37 (27:11):
Never know when you may be the next victim. You know,
these days, you could just look at somebody at own
drive and it might cost your life.
Speaker 36 (27:19):
KPRC two looked into how many people have been shot
from road rage cases in the Greater Houston area over
the last ten years. We obtained numbers from the Gun
Violence Archive showing in twenty fourteen that number was ten.
In twenty nineteen, it was twenty nine, in twenty twenty
four it was eighty four. Houston also ranked number one
in road range across all cities between twenty fourteen and
(27:41):
twenty twenty three and ten.
Speaker 5 (27:43):
To grow across Houston and let individuals know that we
will not tolerate road rate.
Speaker 36 (27:48):
The mayor's new initiative is part of his bigger plan
for public safety, in which he campaigned on muton hopes
Houston drivers can pack patients before getting behind the wheel,
so what happened to his brother doesn't happen to anyone else.
Speaker 37 (28:02):
I think we could have a get people to have
more patience and be more courteous at driving.
Speaker 4 (28:07):
We can stop some road rage.
Speaker 37 (28:10):
We could stop people from getting you know, hyped up
and angry at one another.
Speaker 3 (28:15):
Yeah, just turn the other cheek y'all. What's wrong? Why
are you so frustrated? So that's our question today. That's
why we're doing it. We're gonna try to help the
mayor here give them some insight into why we have
road rage and how to fix the road rage problem
other than putting a bunch of police out there writing citations.
By the way, do you think anybody the three hundred

A sweet relief could relate to property taxes. The governor
yesterday signing the property tax measures. That just gets them
on the ballot. We still have to show up in
November and vote for this stuff. But in case you
have forgotten what the deal is, how they want to
change property taxes here in the great state of Texas.
Here is a report from CBS Texas say.
Speaker 41 (34:20):
Lawmakers say they did their part, and now it's up
to residents and business owners to make it final. Voters
are going to have to approve this constitutional amendment during
the election this November. Now, just a short time ago,
Governor Greg Abbott signed the three bills into law during
a ceremony at the Ropes and Ranch, a retirement community
here in Denton. The law will benefit seniors and other
(34:42):
Texas homeowners. If voters approved, the home set exemption will
increase from one hundred thousand to one hundred and forty
thousand dollars for most homeowners, and it will take effect
this year. For seniors over sixty five and the disabled,
the homestead exemption will rise to two hundred thousand dollars.
And so here's how all this is going to translate
(35:03):
to savings on your property tax bill. The average homeowner
will save nearly an extra five hundred dollars on their
property taxes. And when you combine the savings from twenty
twenty three, which are still in effect, that will total
seventeen hundred and fifty dollars for those sixty five and older.
In the disabled they'll get an extra nine hundred dollars,
bringing their total savings to more than twenty three hundred dollars.
(35:27):
And with an increase in exemptions. For businesses on their
property taxes, the savings could be about twenty five hundred dollars.
For homeowners, the home set exemption will be reflected on
their school property tax only, which is the largest portion
of the bill. The state will use less property tax
money to fund public schools and instead rely more on
safe sales tax and other state revenues. For business owners,
(35:51):
they'll see their exemption increase reflected on not only their
school but their county and city property taxes as well.
The governor explained why the constant dutional amendment is so important.
Speaker 10 (36:02):
We know there would be generations of other leaders leading
in the state.
Speaker 4 (36:06):
We want to make sure.
Speaker 10 (36:06):
That we do more than just pass a law for
this session that could be overturned by majority next session.
We want to make sure that we pass laws that
are enduring that would require two thirds votes, which mathematically
would mean is it concerns increasing attax now?
Speaker 41 (36:21):
The governor says he hopes to in the future further
restrict local government cities and counties from having their property.
Speaker 3 (36:29):
Taxes go up. Well, and that's what we all have
to worry about, especially here in Harrisconti. Right whatever local
government will attempt to do to get around state law,
but we have to show up in November and make
this a part of state law, so it becomes more
difficult for these local governments to overturn the results. Five

posting last night that quote everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran.
Trump is back as Israel continues to hit Iranian nuclear sites.
The USS Nimicz carrier group has also been deployed to
the region.
Speaker 29 (38:58):
I think President Trump is right not to rule out
any option and to maintain flexibility while we back Israel
to the hilt.
Speaker 6 (39:06):
Rather Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton there, but not everyone wants
Trump or the US to get involved in this. If
we get sucked into this war, which inexorably looks like
it's going to happen on the combat side, it's going
to fort what we're doing with the most important thing,
which is the deportation of the illegal alien invaders that
are here. Former Trump's standard is Steve Bannon speaking to
(39:28):
Tucker Carlson on x New polling from Fox News shows
that sixty percent of Republican support Israel against Iran. Only
thirty five percent of Independence say the same thing, and
that number is even smaller for Democrats at just thirty
two percent.
Speaker 35 (39:43):
So why do people on the left have such a
big problem with Israel striking Iran.
Speaker 9 (39:47):
They see Iran as being opponents of Trump and opponents
of the right wing in America, and so they're favor
of Iran. It's a sickening and as simple as that.
Speaker 35 (39:55):
That's political commentator Jake Novak. He says this could also
stem from who's funding the left wing movement.
Speaker 9 (40:00):
We know now more and more that these foreign entities
themselves are actively funding political movements and sometimes campaigns here.
Speaker 4 (40:08):
In the United States.
Speaker 35 (40:09):
Novak did say that as Israel continues to deal with
Iran without American involvement, support for their efforts will grow.

Speaker 10 (40:25):
If you're on the capitol grounds with a gun conveying
that type of message, that's incredible threat that has to
be taken seriously. You obviously saw what happened in Minnesota.
We might need it all to make sure that nothing
like that ever happens in the sad of sexist so

We now know that three Austin police officers were in
fact injured during Saturday's anti Trump protest. President Trump ordered

Chicago over the weekend. Orders Our Tom Homan would prefer
that Sanctuary City's cooperates.
Speaker 14 (41:53):
If we can't arrest the bad guy in the jail,

Speaker 6 (41:58):
Homan on Fox and in Uston deportations continue. Ice says
that a recent SUITEP resulted in the arrest of some
three hundred criminal illegal aliens, but if Congress doesn't act soon,
President Trump's deportation plan could be derailed.
Speaker 16 (42:13):
The President wanted one big, beautiful bill. If this bill
continues to linger in the Senate, I think that the
President may shift strategy and ask Congress simply for an
immigration funding bill.
Speaker 6 (42:26):
Andrew Arthur with the Center for Immigration Study says ICE
needs more funding. Meantime, the Senate continues to make changes
to Trump's budget bill, and House Republicans aren't happy.
Speaker 43 (42:37):
Some key changes to the Senate version is dropping the
state in local tax deduction from forty thousand dollars to
just ten thousand dollars, which is already being met with
fury from House Republicans representing blue states. The bill also
includes an extension of the child tax credit, but the
Senate version only increases it by twenty two hundred instead

of the twenty five hundred in the House version.

Well, it's been a long time I've burned any incense
and candles, so this has no impact on me whatsoever.
But this goes to show you the mindset in southern California.
The National Weather Service in the National Weather Service has
been increasingly doing this, issuing climate alerts or pollution alerts.
(44:21):
They have issued a pollution alert for southern California and
hundreds of thousands of Americans, well, they're sort of Americans
living in southern California warned by the National Weather Service
of potentially poor air quality. So how do you deal
with poor air quality? Evidently, if you are an official
(44:43):
in southern California, you tell people to stop burning candles
and incense. I mean, I know there's probably more a
candle and incense burners per capita in southern California than
most of the country. But is that really going to
help much? Who knows. I guess it's the easiest thing
(45:04):
to try to ask them to do, But something tells
me that's not going to really have a whole lot
of an effect on air pollution. The problem with southern
California is that they're surrounded by mountains which keep the
small again and don't give it any where. Sometimes it
has nowhere to go, so it just kind of builds
up there. It's been going on as long as they've
(45:27):
had any sort of manufacturing in southern California, and as
long as they have had so many people in southern California,
it's not likely to change by stopping burning incense and candles.

Speaker 35 (49:25):
Up here we go again extremely heavy.
Speaker 1 (49:28):
Rainfall Youth radio SEVEN ktrh six twenty three our time
here In houston's Morning. News as of last, WEEK ice
had arrested approximately one hundred thousand illegals and we have
about fifty four thousand of them that are detained in
(49:49):
the detention. Facility that's about twenty five percent above the
forty one thousand detention beds that have been funded By.
Congress so you do the math of the era that
we need more funding and probably more and more. Room
Art arthur joins us at The center For Immigration. Studies
are we flat out of? Room and our detention centers
at this point Are, Yeah.
Speaker 16 (50:08):
We're definitely straining at the edges of our detention. Capabilities you,
know you mentioned they're about fifty four thousand. Detainees that's
well above congressional funding efforts AND dh That's Secretary Christy
nome and The White house both have a certain amount
of flexibility when it comes to, detention but they need
about one hundred thousand beds And congress really needs to fund.
(50:30):
It or as you, mentioned bad people are going to
end up getting turned out on the street.
Speaker 3 (50:35):
And nice is going to have to go out and
pick them up. Again, okay so let's say we get the,
funding where do we put? Them where do these beds?
GO i know that here In, texas for, example That
Governor abbott has volunteered some use of state property in
order to be able to be used for a detention.
Facility are other states willing to kick in an effort like.
Speaker 16 (50:54):
That? Yeah, Absolutely and you know it's important to know.
That you, know WHEN i was an immigration, judge we've
discussed this. BEFORE i did that for about eight. YEARS
i was at The York Immigration court In New, York, pennsylvania
which was actually attached to The York County. Prison York
county used to rent about six hundred beds per day
(51:18):
too ice for. Detention there were a couple other counties
in the area that also rented out a few hundred,
beds but under The biden, administration those counties dropped out
of those agreements because The biden administration kept putting more
and more onerous requirements on immigration detention, facilities basically in
(51:38):
an effort to spike all immigration detention on the way
out the. Door so you, know those, counties those localities
are all available to house immigration. Detainees, again they do,
it you, know with appropriate. Safety they get medical, care
they get, food and you, know education that they needed
(52:01):
while they're in. Detention but the money needs to be
there to pay those. Facilities it's about one hundred and
fifty dollars per day per migrant who was housed in those.
Facilities that money has to come from, somewhere and that somewhere.
Speaker 4 (52:13):
Is, WASHINGTON.
Speaker 3 (52:14):
Dc, Okay So congress needs to get to work on.
This you mentioned that these facilities are, available they just
there's onerous regulations that were put on by the bid.
Administration it's the president aware of. This is this something
he can cure with the stroke of the pen through executive?
Speaker 16 (52:29):
Order?
Speaker 7 (52:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 16 (52:31):
No and in, fact AS i understand, that they're currently
working on reverting back to the old detention standards that
they used to, have that they had Under GEORGE. W
Bush Barack, obama the First trump, administration and reversing some
of those more onerous requirements that have been put in
place by The biden. Administration so it's a multi track.
(52:53):
Effort but you know that part is especially important because
we need to get the, contracts we need to get
the rules in.
Speaker 4 (53:02):
Place so that.
Speaker 16 (53:03):
You know county jails and you know state, prisons know
what is expected of. Them we also have housing available
on military.
Speaker 4 (53:10):
Basis that's sort of.
Speaker 16 (53:11):
The last, option but it is an option that is.
Available of, course if it's good enough for, ours it's
probably good enough for people who have entered The United
states illegally and committed.

about three. Thousand only about a third of, that perhaps
twenty five, percent was long enough had the range capable
of Reaching. Israel and so since then they Fired salvos
in Both april and In october of last, year and
for the last three. Days in my, judgment there's certainly
(01:10:14):
less than one. THOUSAND i would say that the number
is closer to five. Hundred either, way this is a
terminal condition from Which iran cannot. Recover it does not
control its own, airspace and its missile production capacity has been,
eliminated its launch capacity eliminated by one, third and so
regardless of the, inventory this condition is not. Sustainable air
defense has been eliminated. Already the air for such as it,
(01:10:37):
is has been. Destroyed the command To control mostly their general,
officers thirty five of which have been eliminated so far By,
israel and these attacks and the number grows every, day
indicates That iran no longer has the capacity or capability to,
respond which is Why iran now has no control over its.
Airspace and from a military, perspective this condition is one
hundred percent.
Speaker 3 (01:10:57):
Fatal, well there you. Go their condition is one hundred percent.
Fatal that doesn't sound good For, iran no wonder they
want to maybe sit down and talk now now they
want to?
Speaker 4 (01:11:09):
Talk? Right the hell with? That all?

Speaker 16 (01:19:48):
They?
Speaker 3 (01:19:48):
He first of, all you got. PRONOUNS i thought we
were giving up the pronoun. Thing, No democrats are not
giving up the pronoun. Thing as far as the pan sexuality.
Thing in case you are not aware of what a
pan sexual, is they are sexually or romantically attractive to
people regardless of their sex or. Gender so anything goes
(01:20:13):
anything and everything with, EVERYBODY i guess is the best
way to put. That, oh that might be the best
part Of Colby, doohon the New Texas Democrat vice chair For.
Finance he's also a. Socialist hang, on we're putting a
you're The, Democrat you're putting a socialist in charge of.
Speaker 4 (01:20:33):
Finances how does that?
Speaker 3 (01:20:37):
Work does do you put a bunch of money in
the in the coffer and then he just spits it
out to? Everybody is that how that? Works he just
passes money out to. EVERYBODY i would think if you
put a socialist in charge of the, budget then you
know they're gonna want everybody to have a piece of the.
Speaker 4 (01:20:55):
Budget. Right the only reason WHY i mention all this.
Speaker 3 (01:21:01):
Is BECAUSE i think we are, operating at least to
a certain, extent some of us are operating under the
delusion That democrats here In texas are more conservative than
The democrats you would see In california Or New york
or states like, that Or. Illinois but there are plenty
(01:21:22):
Of democrats here In texas that are just as far
progressive left as everywhere else in the, country and there
seem to be getting into more and more positions of.
Authority so if we think for a minute That Texas
democrats other than The John whitmyers of this world are
interested in being somewhere in the, MIDDLE i think we're deluding.
(01:21:43):
Ourselves maybe this is a good, thing because as The
democrats continue to run even further to the, left they
will continue to scare a lot of people who are
much more towards the. Middle seven to. Ten time for

Speaker 23 (01:28:04):
To be called a, communist And Tim waltz says he's not,

a communist or a communist sympathizer would say That china
has the moral.
Speaker 4 (01:28:16):
Authority and by.
Speaker 23 (01:28:18):
The, Way china is not the neutral, party As Tim waltz,
said because we know That china has been all in
On iran's side in this, war has been providing everything
but troops at the. Front So Tim waltz is wrong about.
That and if people want to wonder why he sounds
like a, communist because he very well could be.
Speaker 40 (01:28:37):
Won, YEAH i, mean he spends so much time In,
china AND i wonder if in fact what happened overnight
was evidence that we do See china and Potentially russia
Supporting iran in This israeli. Conflict is that what you?
Speaker 43 (01:28:51):
Believe?
Speaker 23 (01:28:52):
Oh, well certainly Since october, seventh we have Seen china's
elevated commodity purchases Of irani and crude. Oil china takes
more than ninety percent Of iran's exports of that. Commodity
but we've also Seen chinese weapons go To iran and
to all three Of iran's main terrorist, Proxies hamas Has,
in The houti, militia and Also iran's own weapons Have
(01:29:16):
chinese components in. Them there is diplomatic and propaganda. Support
So china has been fully Behind. Iran and so When
Tim wall says that they might be seen as a neutral,
PARTY i mean that's just that's just. WRONG i mean
he's entitled to his, opinions of, course but As Donald

John whipmyer thinks we have a road rage, problem and we.
Do we're number one in the country for road rage
incidents better part of ninety BUT i think it's eighty
seven in twenty twenty four compared to just ten ten years,
Earlier so it's escalated over the course of. Time now my,
QUESTION i GUESS i have a lot of, questions but
(01:38:27):
not the least of which is is a driving gotten
that much worse or has our patient patients gotten that much?
Worse what has led to the increase in road? Rage
is it a driver? Problem or is it a problem
of those of us who are on the receiving end
of a road rage style? Incident you, know people tail getting,
(01:38:49):
us people cutting us. Off are we reacting more harshly
than we have in the? Past and been asked you
this morning if you'd like to come up with a.
Cure John whitmyer thinks the curis to send out THE

we can be a little.
Speaker 44 (01:39:36):

RAGE i believe is just leave ten minutes earlier than
you need to so that you don't have so much.
Speaker 15 (01:39:45):
Pressure when you run into.
Speaker 34 (01:39:47):

the other. People there are always going to be jerks
out there who are. Driving there always gonna be people
out there who aren't paying, attention who would rather text

Your, insurance right. IT i like.
Speaker 3 (01:40:47):

jake welcome i don't know if you heard me riffing
(01:45:43):
about the polling that claims about well Nearly half of
americans are in Favor. Of bombing iran does that number
not seem?
Speaker 4 (01:45:50):
Low, to you.
Speaker 9 (01:45:52):
Yeah, It's, really low jimmy because, as with everything polls
are mostly about the wording. Of the question the question
should be Do you support israel's Continued strikes on Iran without?
Any american involvement because that's what we've seen for the.
Last Five days united states isn't getting militarily involved in
these Massive. Victories by israel and if you asked, IT
that way i think you get. Ninety, percent support so
(01:46:16):
pol you always got to look at the wording. Of
the question don't look at, any poll result no matter,
what it is without asking what was the question specifically
that you, ask the respondents and that'll tell you more
than sometimes.
Speaker 4 (01:46:27):
Even, THE number.
Speaker 3 (01:46:28):
Yeah, i get that but but we've also seen a
change on the progressive left as far as who they
seem to support. In these things there's More Support for
arab states but the progressive left than There, is for
israel a fact that it continues to shock me that
we still, have so, Many You know jewish Americans. WHO
are democrats i would have thought they would have given
up on their party. A.
Speaker 4 (01:46:48):
While ago yeah here's the.
Speaker 9 (01:46:51):
Truth about that They, don't support palestine they Don't Support.
Speaker 4 (01:46:55):
The arab states They're.
Speaker 9 (01:46:57):
Just, anti americans so, in other words if they see
that there's an Enemy Of, the united states Whether it's,
the Mexican cartels, the Palestinian terrorists, the iranian regime or
a crazy cat lady, across the street they will support
the Enemy Of.
Speaker 4 (01:47:11):
The united states that's what.
Speaker 9 (01:47:12):
This is about this is not about a loss Of
support for, israel per se although of course you're correct
the progressive left has lost whatever support it used To
have for israel. Many years ago but it's Not about anything.
Israel has done it's about the progressive less lack of
support and dwindling Support For the United. States of america
and if someone is perceived to be An enemy of
america and just happens to also be An, enemy of
(01:47:33):
israel that's. Fine WITH them and i think you see.
THAT with, everything i mean they also support illegal aliens
and countries that are flooding illegal aliens. Into this country
what's the. Difference to them it's About. Being against america
that's what's.
Speaker 4 (01:47:45):
Going on.
Speaker 3 (01:47:46):
Here we'll, Shamed, all right well let's discuss the policy
going Forward with. THE trump administration I think the president
is doing everything it can to avoid becoming directly involved in.
What's going on it Would appear that israel is doing
a good job of keeping us informed all what, their
plans are, Because After, all president, trump you know high
tailed it BACK from THE g seven g seven summit
(01:48:06):
in order to Meet With The national security council because
obviously he got tipped off to something. Big is, coming
he's warning As are The israelis warning. Tehran to evacuate
so it would tell me that something rather. Large is
coming or is this just one of those things? To
scare them what?
Speaker 19 (01:48:21):
Do.
Speaker 9 (01:48:21):
YOU think, no i mean we've seen in the last
few hours more and more reports Of top level iranian
leaders getting the heck out, of A dodge And I
think president trump wanted to Be In the white house,
for that moment for a potential issue where maybe there
would be a time to bring in some maybe again,
not necessarily military but maybe, even relief efforts although it
(01:48:41):
doesn't seem. Like that's necessary Israel isn't turning. Tehran inside
out it's been. Very SURGICAL strikes SO i just i
Just think the president wants to be in, the situation
room wants to Be in the oval office for the
moment that the news comes Down That the Supreme leader
of iran has either, fled the country died or resigned
or just gotten the Heck out of dodges Are already asked.
RUSSIA for sanctuary i don't know what he's going To.
(01:49:02):
DO in russia i don't imagine they have the kind
of food and whether, he's used to but.
Speaker 4 (01:49:06):
That's another STORY and so i think That's what the president.
Speaker 9 (01:49:09):
Wants to, do you know you don't want to be
at a summit with a bunch of people where your
intel and some of your top aids are not standing
there with you and giving you the. Play by play
and the g seventh summit was mostly a. Photo, Op anyway.
Speaker 3 (01:49:22):
Yeah i've got about thirty seconds. For this one hate
to give you a, short notes Here but the new
gingerishes among those who thinks that if we could just
get RID of the i told us just get Rid,
of The mulahs that iran has very smart people and
has the ability to turn. That country around would you agree.
Speaker 20 (01:49:36):
WITH that.
Speaker 4 (01:49:36):
ASSESSMENT i would i think it.
Speaker 9 (01:49:39):
Can be done it's just they'll need a little, bit of,
help not money but they'll need a little bit of
Help From the united states as far as helping their
communications get out and reminding them that they will back
a new government at least until it. MAKES a mistake
i think it's. About moral support but they're going to
need the moral Support Of the. United states otherwise, newt is,
Right All, right jake novack thank you as. Always appreciate
it That Is, Real America, Host jake novak you'll have.
