President Trump says his crime crackdown maybe coming to a
city near you, hinting that San Francisco could be on
his radar. His operations summer heat has resulted in nearly
nine thousand arrests so far. Also in Washington, the Schumer
shutdown in day number sixteen. Texas Senator Ted Cruz doesn't
see it ending anytime soon.

The government, I believe, will stay shut down at least
for another week because, as you mentioned, the No King's
rally is on Saturday Cruise on Fox.

In fact, we'll have a preview of the No King's
protests tomorrow on Houston's Morning News. Senate majority of leader
John Thune plans to pressure Democrats by tying a Pentagon
funding bill to all of this, And as Jimmy mentioned,
we had Democrat House members storming House Speaker Mike Johnson's
office in an attempt to get him to swear a
new congresswoman in. It is now five h two on KTRH,

So we have a battle in Washington and then a
battle in El Paso, where the Texas Congressional met may
wind up at the US Supreme Court, which also heard
arguments in Louisiana's redistricting case yesterday.

Opponents of Louisiana's maps say they're meant to keep minorities
out of office.

The idea and that African Americans can't get elected and
let's say, have a jerry mander minority democratic district is
just not true, It's not accurate.

Gary Polland with the Texas Conservative Review says these majority
minority districts are actually discriminatory.

Looks like a follow up of race Day's college admissions.
You know, let Sabrinemen Court struck that down. How would
this be any different?

He says, all Texas and Louisiana are doing is politically
jerry mandering instead of racially jerry mandering, and that's completely legal.

Travis Morgan of Texas Scorecard says a ruling is expected
before the candidate filing period opens up on November eighth.
But how the panel rules, anyone's guess.

The plaintiffs they want to revert to the twenty twenty
one maps automatically, which is sort of ironic since they
had been claiming race discrimination against that map for four
years in a court of law. But it does favor
Democrats better, so we don't know exactly what's going to happen.

He says they could issue an injunction to block them
next year, but that's unlikely. It's five oh four scary
new numbers. In a Signal poll about Ice, sixty percent
of young liberals say violence is an okay response to
immigration raids. There's also disturbing new details about the Dallas

ice facility shooter who killed two detainees last month.

According to the suspect's parents, he was completely normal until
he returned to Texas from Washington State.

What it says to me is that this individual was
paranoid and probably, you know, believe in every conspiracy.

Theory that is criminologist doctor Alex del Carmen. But the
big question remains, how did this guy fly under the radar?

People are really out there creating a reality that'esn't that
real that unfortunately results in what we saw in this particularation.

Sadly, he says, this is now the new normal. Jeff

year's governor's race. It's Democrat State Rep. Ginahina Hoosa, who

It is a direct attack on the constitutional rights of
people of color in Texas.

You know Hosan CNN over the redistricting fight this summer.
She also helped organize the runaway Dems back in twenty

Kamala Harris just won't go away. She's continuing her book
tour and making crazy claims.

Some people have actually said I was the most qualified
candidate ever to run for president.

I heard very interesting conversation from Guttfeld last night. I
wanted to share this with you because I think we
could discuss it. We can even make a question today.
I'm just not quite sure yet how the word the question.

But I think if if most of us, because we're
all adults here and some of us are slightly older
adults here, if you know what I mean, we all
remember high school dances. In high school, dances were kind
of a big thing. I remember my first high school
well I wasn't really we used to have dances all

the time in junior high. But when I went to
a junior high now of middle school, so it was seventh,
eighth and ninth grade, you know some schools, ninth grade
is you know, you're a freshman in high school, but
we're still at the junior high ninth grade, and that
we had the freshman farewell, and that was the first
time I ever took a legitimate date, I think, yeah,

first time I ever took a legitimate date to a dance.
Erry Borden was her name. And it was a horrible,
horrible evening. It was just horrible, but it was a
ride of passage, you know. You that was such an
intimidating thing to do when you're like a fourteen, fifteen
year old male, to ask a girl to dance. You know,

(09:08):
the fear of rejection is super high, super high. And
back then girls didn't really ask the guys to dance
unless you were doing the Sadie Hawkins thing. Guys had
asked the girls, and so the point was the rejection
was always there. There was always a chance for rejection.
But now evidently some high schools have even been canceling
their homecoming dances because they couldn't sell enough tickets. There

wasn't enough interest. They were talking about that last night,
and I got felt.

My slow dance song that I remember was you two's
with or without?

Oh, of course, said one.

Speaker 21 (09:37):
But like, it is true that when we were kids,
people were getting into all sorts of trouble, drinking at
these things, making bad decisions. There were much higher rates
of teen pregnancy and stuff. I think we have gone
way too far in the opposite direct. And I have
some teenagers, and my husband and I are always like
poking them with a stick, suggesting they do crime. You know,

We're like, you should go out and get some trouble,
and they're so good.

Wow, it's I mean, that's great. You know, it's just
a little boring.

I bet at the high school dances you were quite
a charmer.

Yeah, we got big dork.

I read this article and they were blaming like COVID,
they were blaming like social anxiety. They were blaming all
these things.

But it's not true.

It's just because we've evolved past the dance.

I didn't get to see.

The girls at my school unless I went to the dance.

They're all plugged in.

They got social media, they got all this stuff. It's
not like I had to go to the dance to
see Janine Hutzele. That was the only way I was
going to get a chance to maybe ask her to
dance or do whatever.

That was a young woman that went missing.

It was no, no, no, she's fine. But that's the
thing I think that we've just evolved past. It's not
that kids aren't interested in being social anymore. It's not
like they stopped going to high school football games. It's
not like they stopped going to these things. I think
we've just evolved past the kind of awkwardness of a dance.

think dances are on the decline? High school kids going
to dances? That it's you know, it's a rare thing
to happen maybe homecoming and I'm not even homecoming. Kids
aren't interested in going to a dance? Why do you
