Speaker 1 (00:00):
So leftist Democrats are telling Axios that their leftist supporters
and constituents want them to ramp up the violence, and
yet Jasmine Crockett says.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Violence doesn't come from Democrats.
Speaker 1 (00:10):
Just to be clear, No, just to be clear. Victor
Avilaw is a former ICE special agent with some thoughts
on what we're dealing with right now. Thank you for
the time, sir, I appreciate it. What's your response to
this bill that's being pushed by congressional Democrats, Senate Democrats,
to be precise, that want ICE agents to have to
produce identification and to reveal their faces as they carry
(00:33):
out their law enforcement sweeps.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
Great to be with you, Bobby. I think it's insane.
I'm living in a twilight zone. Everything seems to be
upside down and backwards when it comes to this issue
with the Democrats. But I don't see the bill where
they're requiring Antifa and all these rioters to uncover their faces. Right,
it's only the good guys that have to disclose their identities.
(00:58):
But why are they covering their faces? Listen, we do
a lot of work. We do a lot of we're
members of the community and because of the vilification of
the individual here, which that makes absolutely no sense to
me that if the Democrats really wanted to, uh, you know,
tackle this issue, will then do it in Washington, DC legislatively.
(01:18):
That's the only thing that ICE agents are doing here
is enforcing the law. And because of the exposure of
video and and all, you know, different times that we
find ourselves in, uh, people are seeing real action of
enforcement of what's going on. Maybe they didn't get used
to it the last four years because there was none
of it, and all of a sudden they don't like
(01:39):
it because of ideology and political positioning or whatever. But
this is a very dangerous path. I think the Democrats
they seem to be always going and dying on the
wrong hill, like with the father from Maryland and and
all these other issues. Uh. Picking on the individual ICE
agent who is only upholding the law and they're old
(02:00):
to their job that they took makes no sense to me.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Victor, what do you think this will do to ICE recruiting?
Because we just got a ton of money in the
big beautiful build of US passed to hire more ICE agents,
hire more border patrol, make sure that the gains that
have been made in terms of securing the border are permanent,
but I have to think it's going to impact recruiting
what they're doing right now in terms of targeting ICE agents.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
Actually, that's a great point. I was talking to someone
yesterday about this, because the new announcements came out for
HSI special agents, ICE officers, Border patrol agents just recently
came out with when the bill passed, and so I'm
hoping it doesn't. I'm hoping. I mean, the job is
hard already to begin with in any level of law enforcement,
(02:48):
and for them to be new recruits watching this in
the news and probably thinking why the heck am I
going to put myself in this situation or my family.
This is the part I think people don't understand, especially
the left, that these individuals are part of our community.
They go to our church, their kids go to school
with our kids, and they're vilified because of the enforcement
(03:11):
and especially the law enforcement that they're doing. Imagine they
did this to a police officer that you got pulled
over for speeding or or or got arrested for theft.
It's not personal, they're not They're not going after you personally.
This is they're just doing their job. But because it's
an immigration issue attached to it. We're seeing this and
(03:31):
then I gotta say the you know, we had two
ambushers in Texas. Portland, we had about three or four
riots and attacks on ICE agents and bor por Trojans
police officers got shot in the span of four days.
And it's right after the rhetoric and narrative that the
left continues to spew. I am calling on the Democrats
(03:51):
to uh stand up and do what's right and condemn
these actions. But I there's silence speaks thout words against
the ICE agents, against citizens of America, but they always
seem to be siding on the wrong side of the law.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
They do, absolutely correct. Victor Avila, former ICE special agent.
I really appreciate your input on this. Obviously you have
a perspective none of us can have with your experience
in it. Thank you for sharing, and blessings to you
and everyone else in law enforcement for this country.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Thank you, sir, Thank you,
