Speaker 1 (00:00):
You know, it may not be a ton of fun,
but you can go just about any blue city and
they're more than glad to give you all kinds of
free stuff, including free legal advice, because, after all, it's
not fair that somebody wants to deport you for being
here illegally. And Harris County joining the action yesterday by
approving one point three million for defending illegal aliens. Now
it's not going to be directly by Harris County. It's
(00:21):
going to go to to nonprofits that do that for
a living. So does that make us feel any better
about it? No, it's still one point three million dollars
in Harris County taxpayer money that's not being used for
a purpose that is supposed to be used for. They're
supposed to provide for our safety, they're supposed to provide
for our infrastructure. That's the kind of stuff we're supposed
(00:44):
to be spending money on. Warren holl joins US Republican
candidate for Harris County Judge. We know aw Leena voted
well everybody with the exception of Tom Ramsey, and nothing
is going to change unless we get the playing field
leveled in Harris County with Republicans at least having his
many members as as Democrats do born.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Well and good morning. Now things aren't going to change
if we don't change the system, because the entire system
is what's allowing all this to happen. It's allowing Rodney
Ellis to do what he does and it's legal because
the system is so screwed up. Harris County government is broken,
and we have people need to understand that in order
(01:27):
to have what you want, public safety, blood control, proper jails,
everything is dependent on having a good base of government
that makes the right decisions and costs the right amount
of money to you, the taxpayer. Right now, it's upside down.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
It is. Let's put you that position.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
People making more than the president, you know, in these departments,
and they give them. I read the whole one hundred
and thirty page budget, and they gave these folks at
their discretion to decide salaries and pay races. I'm at
a tournament this morning. I apologize little charity tournament for
a friend of mine that was killed by an illegal
(02:12):
immigrant running from the police. So we're out here for
a tournament to the in behalf of a prayleb vote.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
This story has from gosh, yeah, no problem. This story
must hit pretty close to home for you though, that
that being the case, because we are going to use
that money at one point three billion, to potentially defend
people who may be guilty of crimes. This is for
anybody that anybody that the government's trying to deport.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
They're using five hundred million dollars in the wrong areas
and that's why we had a two hundred million dollar deficit.
And the only way we could stop it is literally
a county judge has got to come in and not
be the fifth vote or as I call it, the
fifth will. You've got to come in there and set
(03:05):
the agenda and then stay with it until they agree
to it and then vote for you. Period. We've got
to dismantled departments we don't need. We've got to reform
the departments we do need, and set some controls in
for twenty three thousand employees, as you would do if
you own a business with that minion parts.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
Mister how we're out of time because we're up at
the end of the show here, but I want to
thank you for calling in here. Best of lucky with
your campaign, sir, We'll get you. We'll get you back
on as the election gets a little bit closer, to
talk a little bit more about what you'd like to
see done. In Harris Cunning
