cheaper energy bill for the month. What got me on
this one is America's energy bill crisis. Is the headline
from the Daily Mail. America's energy bill crisis spirals out
of control as red state sees three hundred dollars a

month hikes stories out of Georgia. I don't know how
they do electricity in Georgia. I don't know if they
have choices like we have here in Texas, or if
they just have one provider. You know, it's different from
state to state. But I lived at Michigan. There was
one provider for the entire Detroit area and everybody got

their bill from them, and they would go in front
of the Public Service Commission for the rate hikes or
to take care things. But they basically had a monopoly
on electricity, so you weren't getting any great deals. Which
is not to say the energy is cheap anywhere as
far as that goes. But in Georgia, maybe they don't
have a choice. In Georgia, their monthly bills have been

going up as much as three hundred dollars per month.
According to some local residents in the suburbs of Atlanta,
they had an eight hundred dollars electric bill for the
month of July, they claimed to bill one hundred and
seventeen percent increase from the month before, saying we've had
hot days, but man, that's a big leap.

They said.

The seven hundred, just under eight hundred, seven hundred and
eighty dollars bill was attributed to just two air conditioning units. Okay,
they're using water units, I guess instead of having a
central air. He said, I don't run my units cold.
I keep my house at about seventy eight degrees. So
they weren't even, you know, like doing something crazy like

setting their thurtherstaff for sixty eight. They had the thurthertat
set for seventy eight two air conditioning units. Bill was
just shy of eight hundred dollars July, evidently in Georgia,
of one of their hottest in nearly a decade, with
temperatures averaging two to five degrees above Normal's the what's
the worst electric bill you've ever had this summer? Mine

was for sixty seven that was last month. And I
keep the I mean, I'm a I'm a bit of
an energy hog.

I were like it really cool, at least in the house.
I'd like to keep it around seventy degrees on the
first floor of the house, seventy four for the room upstairs,
but seventy degrees. And maybe I just have a really
efficient unit, but it has no problem doing it. And
like I said, worst bill four hundred and sixty And
I'm not to say that four hundred and sixty seven
dollars is cheap, but it's not eight hundred dollars a month.

East Coast wouldn't be as noticeable, but between the strength
of the storm and the size of the storm, even
though it's off shore, it will have some impacts along
the East Coast up first and foremost in the form

of rip currents and high surf, from Florida to parts
of North Carolina, maybe even up into New England.

We'll see, but that's very possible. The other aspect of
this is the.

Outer banks of North Carolina might get a tropical wind
gusts or two. They may get you know, thirty five
forty forty five mile an hour winds. They may get
some of the outer bands from this. So we're still
watching it, even though the impacts will be relatively minimal
compared to what's happening at the center of the hurricane.

But yeah, some impacts for us.

acting like it's summertime. Thunderstorms in the afternoon every day

This is an enormous challenge and you need to understand
the magnitude. Just in Texas, this can result in billions
of dollars of losses a year. It could truly crush
the cattle industry as well as other livestock industry in Texas,
and in doing so, it's going to lead to a

dramatic spike increase in what people are paying in groceries
when they go.

To the grocery store and try to buy food.

To begin to address this a few weeks ago. Right now,
it's the Texas New World screw Worm Response Team who've
been working on strategies to better address.

This at the state level.

The reality is this is a national and international issue.
The screw worm typically comes from South America, makes its
way up through Central America and New Mexico before reaching Texas.
It has gone through all of those geographic regions and
now is in southern part of Mexico and is nearing Texas,

and we are going to face these dire economic consequences.

Our industries are ranchers.

People who buy groceries are going to face these dire
consequences if action is not taken to deny the ability
of the school worm being able to get into the
state of Texas. And as a result, someone who loves
Texas is stepping up and taking action, and that's President Trump.

Donald Trump loves the state of Texas and the people
of the state. He also is concerned about the cost
of rising inflation that to result from rising beef prices,

First, today we are announcing USDA will invest and build
a domestic sterile fly production facility in Edinburgh, Texas, which
is situated about twenty miles from the southern border and
complements the dispersal facility we have already begun production on
with a capacity to produce three hundred million sterile screwworm
flies per week, and that's how we eradicate the parasite.

This facility will triple our current output and eliminate our
sole reliance on Panama and Mexico.
