Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Michael Berry Show.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
Welcome to the Bonus Podcast. Whatever you're doing this weekend,
mowing the grass, working in the yard, gardening, cleaning out
the garage, We're honored to be with you. Homeland Security
Secretary Christy Noam said this week that one point six
million illegal aliens have self deported since President Trump took
(00:24):
office in January.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
We have one point six illegal immigrants that have left
this country voluntarily. And I think these numbers just show
exactly the genius of Donald J. Trump, the brilliant mind
that he has that when he was elected in November,
he knew he had to make America safe again. And
he said, Christy, if you're going to be my Homeland
Security secretary, we're going to follow the law. You're going
to do commercials, You're going to tell the world then
(00:48):
no longer will we tolerate people being in our country
illegally and that they need to go home. And he
messaged it strong, there were consequences if you broke the
law and you were a criminal in this country and
you needed to leave. And overwhelmingly the world got the message.
They're leaving on their own, which is the best thing
for American citizens, not only did one point six million
people leave the United States that shouldn't be here, But
(01:11):
also two point five million Americans became employed in the
last six seven months. That's incredible growth for US citizens.
That will benefit their families and the people who love
this country, who were born here, who want to be
employed and now have new opportunities for success as well.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Okay, I've been asked by a lot of people, how
on earth these people in the country illegally are self deporting?
Why would they self deport what do they gain from it? Well,
we have on record fifty five visa holders. We know that.
(01:49):
We don't know how many people came in here illegally
because most of they snuck in, they broke in. We
don't know where all they're hiding. The estimate is twenty
to thirty million during Biden's administration alone. But we know
if you have a visa, you were processed through a system.
We can pull that data very easily, and we have
(02:12):
fifty five million visa holders and it's estimated. I've seen
it estimated, so I don't know if this is the
official count, but that ten million are what are called holdovers,
which are illegal aliens, and a holdover would have come
here legally with a visa to be a student or
(02:36):
to work H one B type deal. And those people
came here with the intention long term of being citizens,
but they come under the pretense of just being here
for a short period of time. Those people had a
tough decision to make still do as to do I
(02:59):
continue to live here because I like living here, prefer
living here to the craphole country I came from. But
I risk if I'm caught not being able to live
here long term. So for many of these people, the
best option to get to live here long term is
(03:20):
to leave on your own now. And so what we're doing,
what we're seeing here is we're seeing that the system
creates a momentum all its own. You know, objects at
rest remain at rest. We couldn't we couldn't get these
illegal illegals out of the country. But now that we
got the objects in motion, we're seeing it that picking
(03:44):
up steam rolling downhill. And that is a very very
good thing. That that is the sort of thing that
no one predicted. That once this thing starts, some are
going to dig in their heels and the activists are
going to try to get in between the ice agents,
(04:05):
and but some are going to say I'm out, I
will leave. For every one of those people who leaves,
there's a problem solved that we didn't have to solve.
You know, when you're the CEO or president or founder
manager of a company and you're on vacation and people
(04:29):
still work just as hard, that's when you start to
see that you've reached The next phase is when things
are getting done without you having to do everything, when
ICE doesn't have to deport every single person, because there's
a lot of bodies that go into one deportation when
they start deporting on their own. This is a very
very very underrated development. This right here, this is a
(04:56):
good thing. I don't know. I mean this, it's not
a good thing. It was very sad. Spirit Airlines is
warning that they may not survive after emerging from Chapter
eleven bankruptcy protections several months ago. And this is the
saddest news in the last few days because if Spirit
(05:16):
Airlines goes out of business, where are we going to
get those awesome fight videos where their employees fight with
the passengers and the passengers fight with each other. I
guess we'll be stuck doing carnival cruise videos.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
But the.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Reality is when you get really fat, stupid people with
welfare checks and some cash in their hands and they're
out in public, they act like they act when they're
in private, and when they act like they're in private,
but they're in public, and we get it on camera,
some wigs are going to get snatched. It's just going happen.
(05:58):
Wigs are going to get snaed, and some boobs are
gonna come out of the shirt, and some pants are
gonna come off, and the shoes are flung off, and
there's hair pulling, and then at some point somebody's gonna
shoot and stab and throw. And I've never seen a
group of people who so consistently across the board when
(06:19):
somebody is down on the ground will go in and
everybody take a shot at them. That that is a thing,
that there's cultures, that there's a culture that does that,
and then there's everybody else. There's kind of an understanding,
an understanding that when somebody is out and I've seen them,
(06:40):
they'll be knocked out and they're gonna look at me,
I'm about to do it. I'm gonna run up. And
then after they do their thing, it's like they're at
the Olympics. You know, they put their hand up like
y'all yell for me. Look how great I did. Do
you remember the Rodney King Riots when Reginald Denny, the
(07:01):
white guy, poor poor sap, he's he looks like boom
uh boom hour on uh King of the Hill and
they get him out of his eighteen wheeler. He's just
trying to do his job and put a throw a
brick into his head. And when the guy throws the
when the guy smashes the brick into his head, he
puts one leg up like he's going praying. Mans. That
(07:24):
was his celebration dance. He just scored a touchdowns for us.
He's concerned. Yeah, that is uh, that is those are
those are good times. I don't know what we'll do
without Spirit Airlines.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
The unfortunate thing about this, truthfully, is when Spirit Airlines
isn't there, those people still travel around because they have money.
The thing about it is people who will tell you
how poor they are in this country and how disenfranchising,
how horrible. And you ever see how often they eat out?
You ever see how off and they travel, see what
kind of cars they drive? They're mad right now because
(08:02):
Trump's taking away their ability to get or Bobby Kennedy
Robert F. Kennedy juniors taking away their ability to get
junk food on their EBT cards because they didn't get
that fat for nothing. They like to get what, they
like to put some junk food on that EBT card,
and they get very very angry, very angry indeed, when
(08:24):
they can't get their junk food on their EBT card.
That's uh, that's one of those things that really gets
some going. The FDA is warning the public about possibly
radioactive shrimp being sold at Walmart. The recall has been
issued for the two pound bags of Great Value brand
(08:48):
frozen raw Ease peel tail on farm raised white venome
or Venomi shrimp. The brand is Great Value. You know,
sometimes things look like a great value and they're really not.
You're getting what you Sometimes it's worth paying a little more.
(09:11):
Here's the story.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
The FDA issues a warning about potentially radioactive shrimp at Walmart.
The Food and Drug Administration issued a recall of Great
Values frozen raw shrimp August nineteenth from several different lot
codes with the expiration date of March fifteenth, twenty twenty seven.
For a possibligor to caesium one thirty seven, a radioactive isotope.
(09:34):
A plant in Indonesia in charge of processing the selected
group of seafood is currently being investigated by the FDA
for not informing distributors of the detection of caesium one
thirty seven in its plants. At this point, the recall
is preventative, as no bags of shrimp that tested positive
for caesium have entered the US commerce circulation. But the
level of caesium found in the seized shipment of frozen
(09:56):
shrimp was about sixty eight bekerels per kilogram, signific lower
than the twelve hundred bechrels per kilogram the FDA considers
warranted to cause harm. Becherels are the measurement of radioactive decay.
One bekerel is equivalent to one second of radioactive decay. However,
the FDA notes in its latest recall release that any
even small number of radioactive exposures can damage DNA and
(10:19):
increase risk of cancer. The latest warning emphasizes that shrimp
lovers who may have purchased the Walmart brand's frozen crustacean
should dispose of it and worn stores to pull the
product from their shelves. And of course, if you have
ingested the Great Value shrimp recently and are feeling nauseous
or feverish, the FDA recommends speaking to your healthcare provider,
(10:40):
you know.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
As a as just a simple rule of thumb. If
you're not sure your shrimp should not glow straight from
water here than.
Speaker 5 (11:00):
Legs crabs, chance one by in you'll start your tongue.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
My deal.
