consumer facing saying they are again, according to our friends
ever at CNBC, so spending twenty twenty five guidance amid
two point five billion dollar tariff impact.
Speaker 13 (28:14):
Yeah, and you know listen. I've been wrong once or twice,
and I may be wrong about this, but I predict
that this will go down as the biggest act of
political suicide ever committed by a president in the United States.
This whole trade war. He loves to talk about McKinley.
He has this thing about McKinley and McKinley and smooth
(28:36):
Ollie tariffs and how great they were. And he thinks
it's some kind of magic pill that all of a
sudden is going to make America rich and factories are
going to spring up overnight like weeds in August.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
That's none of that's going to happen.
Speaker 13 (28:48):
The environment is so chaotic and so uncertain. Businesses don't
know what to do. And that is the worst case
scenario for the Americans who are trying to figure out
how to make it all work out.

In their life.

I think sixty days from now it will be even worse.
And she it is really telling that she has not
called him. He won't admit it out loud, but she
has not called. She is saying, I think we can
mistand this better than you can. And unfortunately, I think
she is right.

Unfortunately, not only is he wrong and you're wrong, but
you lied about Joe Biden's mental state, and Joe Biden
was also bought and paid for by the Chinese. So
while she's wringing her hands, you know Trump hasn't received
a call from the Chinese leader.

Treasury Secretary Scott Besant was on Fox with Laura Ingram
announcing that he would be meeting with Chinese officials this weekend.

The world has been coming to the US, and China
has been the missing piece. I was going to be
in Switzerland to negotiate.

With the Swiss. Turns out the.

Chinese team is traveling through Europe and they will be
in Switzerland also, so we will meet on Saturday and Sunday.
And you know, look, we have shared interest that this
isn't sustainable. As I said before, that's been on the
Chinese side, and you know, one hundred and forty one

hundred and twenty five percent is the equivalent of an embargo.
We don't want to decouple. What we want is fair trade.

Back in twenty eleven, Pat Buchanan was on CNN with
Aaron Burnett and he predicted a lot of what we're
seeing today. Pat Buchanan is a guy who worked with
the Nixon administration in the early seventies as a speech writer,
and he became the Reform Party candidate in two thousand.

It's important to note President Trump considered challenging him for
that nomination to be the Reform Party candidate in two thousand.
Got very serious about it, did Trump, and he ended
up co opting a number of values and positions that
Pat Buchanan would state publicly, and.

He looked a lot.
Speaker 6 (31:12):
He looked at a lot of what Ross Perot did
as well, But much of his agenda comes from Pat Buchanan.
Here's Pat Buchannan in twenty eleven predicting what would happen

I do believe this.

We're going to have the American unipolar world where we
have a single last superpower that is definitely over I
think China is an emerging superpower by twenty twenty economically
and militarily, it'll be the dominant power in Asia.

And I think in emerging superpower, look if.

They were not dead by twenty twenty five.

I was worried twenty twenty five.
Speaker 8 (31:48):
What concerns me is is what's happening here at home
that we seem to be disintegrating as one nation under God, indivisible,
all those things we had. It seems to me we're losing.
Were very very much at war with each other, and
it's over ideology, politics, religion, philosophy, everything, and the terms
we're using on each other. I mean the term I mean,

I'm on cable as you are. Every day somebody call
them somebody else a racist. We didn't use those kinds
of terms on each other's even during the civil rights era.

No, it's true.
Speaker 14 (32:20):
But your book is a chapter called the End of
White America, right, which it's a startling term. And I'm
curious what you mean, because isn't the end of white
America as we see the rise of Hispanics a good thing,
proof that America is a melting pot, that anybody can
succeed here, no matter the color of your skin or
your religion or whatever.
Speaker 8 (32:38):
Well, that's I'm a little concern when people say, Pet,
the majority of people looking like you, that's coming to
an end.
Speaker 5 (32:44):

So let me say this. What's wrong with this is
is the idea that when whites are a minority in
this country in twenty forty one in Hispanics or one
hundred and fifty million. What is going to hold us
together when we don't have a common religion, We don't
have common beliefs about right and wrong and morality as
we used to. We are at war over you know,

whether or not equality means equality of rights or quality
of rewards.
Speaker 14 (33:09):
The American's dream, the freedom, the belief what will cause
air of spring.

That's that's what wid us together. People.

Freedom and the idea of socialist equality and freedom are
in mortal conflict. I was in China before you were born,
with Richard Nixon in nineteen seventy two, the most equal
society you've ever seen. Everybody had a blue mouth jacket
on and they were the poorest people you've ever seen. Now, tyranny,

the most much of the tyranny has been lifted of Maoism,
