Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Michael Barry Show. One of the big opportunities President
Trump has that if he doesn't seize on it, it
will never be done, is to get control of America's
drug prices. Now, I'm not for government setting prices of anything,
but the way America's drug prices have been contrived involves

(00:22):
a great deal of governmental interference. And this is why
it's going to take the government to fix this. We're
watching a lot of American suffering, just trying to buy
medicine to survive.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
It'll be numbers that nobody can even imagine. We're going
to get the drug prices down, not thirty or forty percent,
which would be great, not fifty or sixty. Now, we're
going to get him down one thousand percent, six hundred percent,
five hundred percent, fifteen hundred percent, numbers that are not

(00:55):
even thought to be achievable.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
President Trump has to answer questions like whether or not
he's a dictator, and traditionally the strategy would be you
don't comment on things like that. Trump is an over communicator,
So what he does in a situation like this is
he says, well, if they're saying that so many times,

(01:18):
I'm going to have to address it, but I'm going
to do it in a way that becomes a quotable
quote and they won't be able to keep from playing it.
There are a lot of things happening in the world,
and yet Trump keeps himself the center of attention, which

(01:38):
keeps him able to move that it gives him a
power that I don't think they realize they are inadvertently
giving to him.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
I think the Democrats better get smart, and you know,
politically I hope they don't, but actually in terms of
love for the country, I hope they do because it
will be good to work together. So I'm thinking about,
you know, when I have some slob like Britzker criticizing
us before we even go there, I made the statement
that next should be Chicago, because, as you all know,
Chicago's a killing fields right now, and they don't acknowledge it,

(02:10):
and they say we don't need them. Freedom. Freedom. He's
a dictator. He's a dictator. A lot of people are saying,
maybe we like a dictator. I don't like a dictator.
I'm not a dictator. I'm a man with great common
sense and I'm a smart person. And when I see
what's happening to our cities and then you send in troops.
Instead of being praised, they're saying, you're trying to take

(02:32):
over the republic. These people are sick. But I'm really saying,
and I say this to all of you in a
certain way, we should wait to be asked because they
have cities that are so under control, out of control.
So we go in and fix it. They take the
full credit for it, and they go out and say
I heard it this morning. They're saying how well they've

(02:52):
done over the last ten day period, that they set
record lows. They don't say that with that with very
tough people. By the way, they have to pass the
toughness test, otherwise they're not working for us. So and
we're allowed to do that now according to the United
States Supreme Court decision. Now they have to pass the
toughness test. If they're not tough, we don't want them
for this job. They might be great for other jobs,

(03:14):
but not for this job because they're respected. You saw
the gang of kids. They were all huddled up and
a group of soldiers walked up. They never even got over.
Those kids ran back to their homes or wherever the
hell they came from. They were gone.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
You have.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
This is one of the safest cities right now in
the world, as crazy as that sounds. And it took
seven days, took really three days, but we're now on
our eleventh day.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
So Cracker Barrel is not about the logo. I've said
that over and over again. Cracker Barrel has been up
to some very bad stuff and when it was revealed,
I think Robbie Starbuck is the one who did it.
He worked with the far left HRC organization. I mean

(03:59):
he worked. He talks about how Cracker Barrell worked with
the far left HRC organization Human Rights Campaign and reportedly
sponsored their events for ten years. This is a longer
clip than usual, but give this a listen.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
We investigated Cracker Barrel and what I'm about to show
you is a company infested with left wing activists who
are more interested in safe spaces, pronouns, and virtue signaling
than they are in their customers. I think the best
way to start is by telling you what you've been
funding if you've gone to Cracker Barrel in recent years.
So let's start with Nashville Pride. Yes, Cracker Barrel is
a proud sponsor of Nashville Pride and have been part

(04:34):
of it for over a decade, along with participating for
multiple years in Evansville, Indiana's third River City Pride event.
They even made LGBTQ plus rocking chairs for these Pride events.
This same Pride rocking chair that they put front and
center in their Tennessee corporate office and at their twenty
nineteen Managers conference for the Cracker Barrel Managers. That Tennessee

(04:55):
corporate office I mentioned is located in a place called
Wilson County, one of the most conc servative counties that
you will find in America. The fact that it's located
there is important to this story because what's happened here
is a microcosm of the parasitic operating procedure of left
wing activists. Like a parasite they embed and spread. They
don't just want to force their soul list, godless, hedonistic

(05:17):
vision of the future onto blue healthscapes that their party
controls know. It's much more important to them that they
shove it down into your towns, into your kids' schools,
and into your way of life. So sticking a pro
trans rocking chair into their headquarters in a predominantly conservative
town is exactly the type of thing they revel in doing.
And for a food service company, you might be thinking
their focus should be good food and good service, but

(05:39):
their own website says, quote, this year, Cracker Barrel's focus
was to be a part of the Pride experience and
they're very proud of their pro trans rocking chairs. Let
me tell you. They call it quote bringing the front
porch to Pride. And if you think that's out of
alignment with their customers, well you're right. But it doesn't
end there. The Cracker Barrel website says that they believe
that diverse and pride are pillars they should guide decision

(06:02):
making year round. In fact, to uphold these values, Cracker
Barrel also engaged with the HRC and the Out and
Equal Advocates Workplace Conference. More on the HRC later, but
let's dive into Out and Equal for those who don't know,
Out and Equal is an organization focused on forcing sexuality
and transgenderism into the workplace. Cracker Barrel sponsored their conference

(06:25):
and really went the extra mile by creating rocking chairs
in every color of the LGBTQ plus Pride flag. This
was part of a large DEI push at Cracker Barrel
corporate in recent years. Cracker Barrel was so devoted to
this DEI push before most even new DEI was a
thing that they were given an award by the Out
and Equal Advocates for having twenty eighteen's top lgbterg group. Yes,

(06:48):
Cracker Barrel has a special group for LGBTQ plus employees. Again,
back in my day, a club about the sex you
like to have at work would have been called sexual harassment,
but now it's apparently empowering and virtuous if you make
club about it. That's not the only award they've won
though now. They also won Nashville LGBT Chamber of Commerce's
Award for Corporate Diversity. To really drive home how out

(07:10):
of touch the company's become. Here's a photo of a
former Cracker Barrel employees cubicle where you can see his
pronouns listed on his Out and Equal name tag, along
with what appears to be a Gay Pride FBI logo
and various virtue signaling signs. Cracker Barrel also took part
in something called the Southern States Forum, where they discuss
how to advance the far left agenda and normalize transgenderism

(07:32):
and their causes in Southern States. At this forum, they
did a workshop on the cracker barrel quote timeline of progress.
This is about advancing LGBTQ plus issues. So you're getting
cracker barrel vibes yet I doubt it, But buckle in
because the crazy train is just leaving the station. Now
back to the HRC. If you're not familiar with the

(07:54):
HRC and you thought of Hillary Clinton, somehow, the actual
HRC is worse than Hillary. In fact, in the most
Orwellian twist, their full name is the Human Rights Foundation.
With such a name, you might expect them to speak
up for trafficking victims, free speech, religious freedom, or maybe
young girls who suffer from genital mutilation in third world countries.
But again you'd be wrong. They actually support the mutilation.

(08:18):
Left wing activists call quote gender affirming care for children,
and yes, they support the hormones, the surgeries, all of it.
The HRC also absolutely hates President Trump, and their president
called President Trump a white nationalist who hates America during
this last election, we can have a thirty four time
felony convicted wanna be white nationalist dictator in office. The

(08:40):
HRC they want workplaces pushing pronouns transgenderism, full medical coverage
for transitions, and to fun pride events both inside the
workplace and outside the workplace. In fact, in this image
posted by a former Cracker Barrel employee, you'll see that
they've sponsored the HRC's Quote Equality Dinner for at least
ten years. They even got a shout out on stage

(09:01):
from the HRC for their dramatic embraceive wokeness in all
of the.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Ways pack about I see you.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
I am so thankful that you are here because I
have been one that hashbag answer over a long time,
and now I feel like I can go.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Back and do it.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
I see you. I remember that cubicle before it belonged
to a former employee who was actually a part of
the HRC's Business Advisory Council in Washington, DC. A very
proud moment for Cracker Barrel executives, I'm sure. In fact,
his LinkedIn says he's still on the council today. That employee,

(09:39):
Steve Smotherman, was also the head of Management, Training and
Development at Cracker Barrel for fifteen years. That explains a lot.
