Speaker 1 (00:00):
Corney and Kiss in the Morning. Callywood report on Kiss
nine seven.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Well, Harry Styles ran the Tokyo Marathon over the weekend.
It was pretty impressive. It was a twenty six mile race.
He ran it in three hours, beating out twenty six
thousand other runners three hours.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
That's incredible.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Less he ran it in three but it was far
from first place, but he did good. People were shocked.
You were like, hey, wait, is that Harry Styles? Is
that him in the middle of the race, you know what?

Speaker 4 (00:28):
Good for him because I can't even run a full
two miles without stopping, so bless.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Hey, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey haven't really been seen
since Super Bowl weekend rumor as they recently got back
to the US from his secret vac secret vacation abroad
where he was supposed to pop the question. So when
we see them next, will she be wearing a ring?
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (00:48):
I think she just doesn't want to be seen with
a loser.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
That's why they haven't much cut it out.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
No, no, no. And Justin Bieber celebrating his thirty first
birthday over the weekend with friends, his wife and their
son Jack blues. He actually rented a cabin for the celebration.
Of course, he posted tons of photos of his birthday
Vaca Birthday celebration, and it looked happy and healthy, not
all whacked out like last week. Did you see the photos?

(01:14):
I thought it was all right. Yeah, it's decent. Check
out the photos and more. Kiss ninety five to seven
dot com slash Courtney Saverna carpenter and is kiss ninety
five seven. Congrats Victoria Middletown won that trip to lan
Italy to see Sabrina. She's taking her older sister. How
nice is that?

Speaker 3 (01:30):
That's so cool?

Speaker 4 (01:31):
Sister?

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Ever, Yeah, she won the trip. Congratulations. Good news if
you're a morning person, A new research is showing you're
happier and healthier than your night owl friends. They say
people who are mourning people feel happier and more satisfied
with life in general. I feel like if you're a
morning it depends if you're a morning person by choice,
if you're getting up not by choice because like the

(01:53):
babies are crying or you got to go to work,
it might be different. But good news. If you're a
morning person, I guess you're happier than anybody else. Savannah's
got good news. If you're a night owl. How crazy
is that? I know, we're literally like opposite.

Speaker 6 (02:05):
Stay what is going on?

Speaker 2 (02:07):
It's crazy?

Speaker 4 (02:08):
But yeah, so Sanna, No, she just fell asleep. She
just fell asleep. Honestly, I didn't sleep last night. So honestly,
this is what's happening.

Speaker 6 (02:18):
But if you are having a hard time getting.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Up in the morning kind of like I am, there's
actually a new study that came out that said that
certain smells can actually help you wake up. So here's
what they're saying. Lemon grass, which I'm like, oh, I
feel like that would be a relaxing scent, orange chocolate, peppermint,
and coffee beans.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Yeah. I feel like if you set your coffee pot,
like if you one of those brew, it'll brew, you know,
before you get up and you were sitting here sleeping
and you smell it, it'll wake me right up.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
You know.

Speaker 6 (02:43):
What's the best thing ever. One of my friends has it.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
She has one of those perk coffee machines that like
get like you know, boils and it makes like a
really nice coffee. You can literally buy like a smart plug,
so when you get up in the morning, you can
say Alexis, start my coffee pot and it literally bruis
your coffee.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
That's pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Well maybe, I guess, Jeff, the smell of bacon would
wake you up.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Yeah, bacon, yes, saucy, Yeah for that? All right?

Speaker 2 (03:04):
What do you have this morning? Jab?

Speaker 5 (03:06):
A fifty seven year old Australian woman went in for
jaw surgery and when she woke up from surgery, she
is now speaking with a British accent.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
What Yeah, I love these story.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
Doctors actually believe she developed foreign accent syndrome, which is
actually a real thing and it typically happens to people
that have had a stroke or a brain injury.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
No word on if.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
Her accent will go back to the Australian accent. So
I don't know who it's good use for. I just
thought it was a funny store.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
That's awesome. I know we probably shouldn't laugh though. She
had a major surgery.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Yeah, but she has a British accent, so that's pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
So fun call tonight Temps in the thirties. It is
kiss ninety five seven, Corny and Kiss in the morning
time to talk about the peaks of our weekends. I
can't wait to find out what you guys did. I
will tell you I did not get the tattoo.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
Okay, yeah, I just saw your wrists. I didn't see
anything on it.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Yep, no tattoo, no ten. I had green mimosas with
my podcast buddy Miles.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
The hell is green mimosa the food color exactly what?

Speaker 1 (04:11):
I didn't know?

Speaker 3 (04:12):
It was like some Whole Foods kind of stuff.

Speaker 7 (04:17):
God.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Anyway, I had green mimosas with Miles. But I but
I chickened out on getting the tattoo. I know we
discussed it last week, but I don't know. I just
felt like and not because Jeff said a tattoo would
be trashy. I never said that, Yeah you did, kind of.
I have too that I don't love, and I was like,
what are the chances I'm gonna get a third? And
also not like that one, so I said, no, I'm
not gonna get it. Anyway, hanging out drinking green mimosas

(04:42):
was definitely my peak. Savannah. What did you do this weekend?

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Absolutely nothing, which was fabulous.

Speaker 6 (04:47):
So yeah, oh my god, I needed it so so much.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
So, Yeah, I got to spend some time doing some
puppy cuddles on the couch with my girls, Zerrita, my
dog's area.

Speaker 6 (04:55):
So yeah, it was just nice shell weekend.

Speaker 5 (04:57):
Okay, I like that, Jeff U Friday and now they
went to Harvard Wolfpack game with my ten year old
son and my mom and dad in.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Your mom, Yeah, you're taking your mom A boy, what
a mistake that was Margaret.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Margaret had two of the big bud lights.

Speaker 5 (05:14):
There are twenty four ounce bud lights, so she literally
had like four or five beers and we had to
walk up a ton of stairs because we're sitting down
at the ice. So yeah, just stair just watching Margaret
slug some bud lights at the Wolfpack game.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
That was my thing.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
That was your I love it. Hey, if you want to,
if you want to see our peaks, we've got photos
for you. Plus we want to see what you did

how many views listings in certain areas got. And number one,
I'll tell you right off the bat. It's the Woodmont Milford,

(06:05):

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Wow. The average price for home in that area Courtney.

Speaker 5 (06:11):
Six hundred and twenty five thousand dollars Milford.

Speaker 2 (06:17):

Speaker 3 (06:19):

was like, what.

Speaker 5 (06:48):
Most popular neighborhoods in the US? Number ten, Central Norwich
in Norwich, Connecticut. The median home price there is two
hundred and fifty seven thousand dollars.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Okay, yeah, so wins Windsor, Connecticut. My place didn't. Or

Speaker 1 (07:18):

Speaker 7 (07:23):
Well.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
The Oscars were a snoozefest last night, and Nora dominated
the Oscar, securing Best Picture and winning a total of
five awards. Star Mikey Madison won Best Actress, Adrian Brody
Best Actor, Well, Kieran Culkin and Zoe Saldana took home
Supporting Actor and Actress awards the ceremony. Would you guys
think about Conan O'Brien hosting?

Speaker 3 (07:42):
I thought he was good.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
I thought he kept it. I thought basically he was
boring but kept it on track.

Speaker 7 (07:48):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
I feel like the beginning, like his opening monologue, whatever
just took forever ever.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
I know Savannah sent to texts that gets he done.
Yet it's too talking Coonan, Well, that's because Ariana Grande
opened the show her voice Hills.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Johns, They do.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
All right?

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Did Jeff just say, I got the chills.

Speaker 5 (08:26):
Oh yeah, when her and the other lady where the
other lady were singing, I was like, Cynthia, yeah, it's
my Roman Empire.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
No, that's literally my Instagram sub.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
How'd you guys feel wicked? Got snubbed? They only won
two awards. They were nominated for ten and they only
won two. I felt like that was wrong, Like they
totally got snubbed last night.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
I am so angry for Cynthia Rito because I feel like,
if you're not somebody who's ever like loved theater or
like knows what goes into a show, you don't understand
the work that that girl put into that role.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
Not only was she.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
Singing live, those songs are hard to sing standing still,
now put her in a harness flipping through the.

Speaker 6 (09:05):
Air at like ridiculous, ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
Yeah, you could see all the highlights from last night's Oscars.
Kiss ninety five seven dot com slash Courtney Taylor Swift
and Travis Kelsey haven't been seen since Super Bowl weekend
rumor as they just got back to the US from
a secret vacation abroad where he may have proposed so
next time we see them, look on her ring finger.
And finally, Justin Bieber celebrated his thirty first birthday over
the weekend with friends, his wife, and his son Jack Blues.

(09:30):
He rented a cabin for the big celebration and posted
lots of photos over the weekend. You can check those
out as well. Kiss ninety five to seven dot com
slash Courtney our big announcement you've been waiting for it.
It is Kiss ninety five seven Courtneys of Annah Walmart Jeff.
I'm super excited. Our announcement is the meat Market is
back and it's coming up ladies. Yes, ooh. We've been

(09:51):
working real hard at this Elicten Brewy in Manchester. That's
where it's going to be April eleventh. And if you
don't know anything about the meat Market, it is the
biggest singles event in all of Connecticut. Basically, we pack
a room with bachelor's, just single guys and their wingmen
and then ladies, you come in and you meet the
man of your dreams. That's what it boils down to.
And I tell you what Savanna and I are going

(10:12):
to be particular this year. We're going to be picking
the best of the best.

Speaker 6 (10:16):
Yeah, We're going to be weeding through them. Hey, you
know what, maybe we.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
Even call and do like a phone interview top couple
of them, keep them on their toes.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
I love it. We are signing up the guys. In fact,
sign up is open as of right now today, so
you got to get in on it. Guys, if we
pick you as a bachelor to come to the meat market,
you're gonna bring your wingman and ladies. When you walk in,
we'll hand you that man. You it's like a menu,
but when you open it up, it's all the men
in the room that you'll be able to meet. It's
kind of cool.

Speaker 5 (10:42):
Yeah, and guys, if you're single, this will be a
banner night for you because basically all the women that
are there are looking to meet somebody. So if you
are a single, guy like this is something you need
to sign up for.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
It's amazing. We have so many weddings and babies and
or vice versa, babies then weddings, whatever it is, because
come out of our meat market. We've been doing it
for years and I'm telling you right now this is
going to be the best one yet.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
You know, my favorite part about this meat market is
what Courtney is single.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Yes, I know, I'm petrified. But ladies, I am really
going to scrutinize the man meat this year because this
is the first time, it's sixteen or seventeen years of
the meat market that I've actually been single and ready
to well. I don't know if I'm ready to mangle,
but can mangle.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
So there will be age meet there. You're going to
be letting in there, more age.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
Meet than normal, and I will be bringing my girlfriends.
So we're looking for aged meat guys. So if you're
you know, good little age on your meat, we're looking
for that. Basically, Savannah and I are going to be
going through the man with a fine tooth comb. We
need some good quality bachelors this year. Sign up our
meat market April eleventh, Ilicit Brewing. Make sure you get

(11:52):
in and sign up right now. Fill out the application,
and ladies, make plans to join us with your friends
on April eleventh. Sign up right now. If you're a bachelor.
Kiss ninety five dot com Wicked snub got the oscars
last night. It is Kiss ninety five seven Cordion Kiss
of the Morning. If you caught the oscars and not.
But I felt like it was a bit of a
snooze Fest, Wicked got snubbed. They took home. I think

(12:14):
they were nominated for ten awards and they took home two.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
That's crazy.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
And I was upset for Ariana Grande because she was
up for Best Supporting Actress. But she did a fabulous job.
Opening the show was somewhere over the rainbows they do

(12:48):
honestly that it really did also give me chills. Walmer
jeff Is, However, that song makes me depressed. I can't
even listen to it. But I couldn't turn away. She's
so good. Oh, it just it sends me into a depression.

Speaker 6 (13:01):
Why it's supposed to be like giving up and.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Yeah, yeah good, no, no, no, just what exact? But
I couldn't turn I mean I couldn't turn away. She
was fabulous. What did you I thought best performance of
the night, even though they were more performances.

Speaker 5 (13:17):
Yeah, I thought it was good. I mean the whole
thing for me, didn't really do anything for me.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
Really, I literally was almost in tears when they were
really Yeah, I was like it chilled.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
It was amazing, It was so so amazing. I wasn't
I mean, don't she cat was? She was okay? She
performed last night too.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
They will leave in the night and.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
Thy mind shit me.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
Gimes forever.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
Savannah's and she's literally sitting next to me singing at
the top of her lungs. All right, I thought it
was good, but I thought Ariana Grande was fabulous.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
No, I thought, I mean arian and Cynthia. Yeah, like
Theyle the show. But Dojha was great. Ray was awesome.
How she didn't play Amy Winehouse in like that movie
I know that's.

Speaker 6 (14:07):
Black, Like, how did that not happen?

Speaker 2 (14:09):
She would have been great. Let's talk about best dressed.
I mean, because we already know Wicked got snobbed and
blah blah. Best dressed for me, I'm gonna say Selena
Gomez interesting. Yeah, I just liked her gown. It was elegant,
it was understated. Ariana Grande looked like a cake topper
to me, Yes.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
She did great. Weird you know what she looked like?

Speaker 5 (14:28):
You know why when you get pizza and they put
that like plastic table in the middle of the pizza,
the keep, That's kind of what she looked like.

Speaker 4 (14:34):
All Right, we're getting fashion commentary from a man who
left his hat in his office because it quotes smells
like burnt chicken.

Speaker 3 (14:41):
Can I just say something?

Speaker 5 (14:42):
Uh, I don't know best dressed. I don't know any
of that. But I saw Miley Cyrus last night. She
was like a presenter.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (14:49):
Can I just tell you, like she looked great at
the Grammys like a month ago, and then last night
she looked like the hottest girl at the Elks Club,
if you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (14:56):
Really?

Speaker 3 (14:57):
Yeah, I love I have degree.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
I think it was the dress, Jeff. I didn't like
the boning and the dress. It was a little.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Yeah, that's what I didn't like.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
I didn't like it.

Speaker 6 (15:05):
You guys were killing me. I loved Miiley, I loved.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
Doja's red carpet off it and her performance off it
was beautiful.

Speaker 6 (15:10):
But I thought, to me, Moore looked really, really beautiful.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
She did, I know. I actually pulled up her photos
this morning here in the studio and zoomed in to
see what kind of work she's had done, because whenever
she get done, I want done.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
Yeah, just bring that picture to your doctor.

Speaker 6 (15:23):
She's been touched by an angel. I put it that way.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
She has.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
I'm a little bit shocked about Wicked only picking up
two awards. Conan O'Brien did good hosting it. I thought
he did a good job.

Speaker 5 (15:34):
I didn't see any of the movies that were nominated
for any awards, but I was watching me early on
the show where they give out awards, like the stuff
that doesn't really matter. Yeah, there was one guy during
his acceptance speech. He was thanking like the sex workers.
I was just like, WHOA, what type of movie? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (15:51):
Is this guy like throwing out there?

Speaker 5 (15:52):
Then to look into it and I was like, oh, okay,
because I didn't get a warning that there was going
to be thinking of sex workers and propsies.

Speaker 6 (16:00):
Yeah, there was a couple people that did that. Because
I think, I don't know, I've any strange. I can't
speak straight.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
You know.

Speaker 4 (16:06):
It was a great sport last night, like a really
good sport to Timothy Shallamagh.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
Yeah, ranging on that poor boy, I know. And he
did such a good job in his movie. And he
was up for an oscar too and didn't win. So
just strange stuff. If you want to see the highlights
from the Oscars last night, head over to Kiss ninety
five seven dot com. Slash Courtney Rachel and Plantsville is
standing by got ghosted after a first date. She wants
us to call her date and get answers.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
All right, Oh and she's calling us though, right.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
Yeah, but we have to call her date.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
No, no, no, this is the update Courtney.

Speaker 6 (16:37):
Oh, she's got tea.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
Oh she's standing by, she's got tea. She got ghosted
after a first date. I see she is standing by
with an update. I wonder what it could be. Oh
my gosh, we're all gonna find out. Second date update
update next.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
Will they go on a second date?

Speaker 2 (16:52):
Or will must be the last time they ever talked?

Speaker 1 (16:54):
Courtney and Kiss in the morning. Second date update. I'm
kiss ninety five seven.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
All are you guys? T's time for a past guest
to join us again. It is a second date update update.
You know, when they come back and they let us
know what's happened since they were on the show. Do
you guys remember Rachel. You're gonna love this. In Plantsville
went on a date with a guy named Jackson. He
ghosted her. We called Jackson and he denied even knowing
a Rachel.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
Oh yeah, this guy kind of like ghosted her twice.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Yeah, it was just so bizarre. She's back with an update.
Good morning, Rachel. Hey, I oh my gosh, I'm so
excited for this update because when we last left you,
this guy Jackson, you went on a date with, you,
flirted with, had dinner with, kissed you at the end
of the date. He denied even knowing you going on
a date or anything.

Speaker 7 (17:42):
Yeah, he sure did.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
So what's the latest.

Speaker 7 (17:47):
Well, the latest is my girlfriend and I did some
souping and found that mister Jackson is married and has
a newborn and he is a liar.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
Oh oh oh, I think I said that on second
date day update. I think I asked him are you
married or something? And that's when he hung up on us.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (18:05):
So this guy's basically huge and just lied when he
I mean, he took me out to dinner, we kissed
at the end of the night, like, and he has
like a whole family.

Speaker 6 (18:15):
Oh okay, that is so bizarre.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
What the hell is wrong with people?

Speaker 7 (18:20):
Yeah, it was really alarming for sure.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
Okay, And I would guess he probably wasn't wearing a
wedding ring because that you would have spotted that on
a date.

Speaker 7 (18:29):
Uh yeah, I sure would have, But nope, he was not.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
So so bizarre. Okay, Well that answers all of our questions.
Jackson denied knowing you because he's a married man with
a newborn.

Speaker 7 (18:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
Wow, sketchy, Oh my gosh. Well at least you got
some answers, Rachel, and thank you so much for taking
time to fill us in
