I'm so sorry that you're on the show under these circumstances,
but hopefully we can get some answers for you. Your
husband's name is Matt right, is your husband's name Matt?

Speaker 3 (00:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (00:27):

Matthew is cheating?

Speaker 1 (00:31):
What is going on?

Speaker 4 (00:32):
Okay? Well, just to back things up, Matt and I
have been together for seven years. We went in college
Love of my Life, and I was, yeah, we don't
celebrate DWN Time's Day and you know it's just passed.
But recently I was in his car and I was
ticking out groceries, okay, and I discovered there were gifts,

(00:59):
there are and there are also flowers, there are roses,
and there was also necklace and I was like, oh
my god, this is blue sweet, you know, the one
time he wants to celebrate because we love each other,
we don't necessarily have to celebrate on this commercial holiday. Yes, right,
And I didn't want to ruin the surprise, so I
was like, okay, I'll just let it.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Be yep, not saying anything.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Wait till Valentine's Day for him to give you the
gifts and surprise so exciting.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
So I go back to the trunk, you know, a
couple of days later and it's not there.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
WHOA So after so Valentine's Day comes and goes and
you don't get anything? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Wait question question, yeah, yes, question.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
Is it possible? Like does is he close to his mom?
Do you think maybe he got his mom something like?
Because sometimes my mom and I will like exchame she
haves on valentine s like something small, but.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
Yeah, but we're open enough to where he would at
least tell that. You know, that's something that you could
communicate with me about, like, oh, I got this sick
for my mom and I'm like, oh.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
My god, is really great? I was. You know, I
would love.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
To you know, write in the card as well.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
You know, nothing, All right, we're gonna call up Matt,
your husband, and.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
We're gonna try to get some answers.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
We'll offer him roses because clearly you found flowers in
the trunk, so he's given them to somebody. We're gonna
offer roses, try to get some information out of them.
Hang tight, okay, and feel free to jump in at
any point. Hold on, Nicole, this is a tough one
for me. I feel like I don't know if she's
being honest with us for some reason.

Speaker 5 (02:27):
I don't know, Like it's just it's it's weird.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
That's why I was like, was he giving it to
my Like? I don't know as.

Speaker 6 (02:34):
Hello, Hey is Matt there? Hey, Hey Maddie, this is
Ryan from Flowers Express. How are you this morning?

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Oh wow, Oh that's awesome.

Speaker 6 (02:55):
Yeah, yeah, it's a pretty good deal. So here's the deal.
It's a dozen roses an one percent for free. We're
not gonna send you the flowers. We're actually gonna send
the flowers to someone else on your behalf, maybe bright
in their day.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Oh well, that's awesome.

Speaker 7 (03:08):

Oh right, Matt. So here's the deal. I have a
card in front of me I can attach to the flowers.

a message in the card you'd like to write down?

Speaker 7 (03:31):
You have been my everything.

Speaker 6 (03:32):
You have been you have for the last few months. Yeah,
you've been with everything for the last few months. Who
can I address the card to?

Speaker 3 (03:42):
H to Kathleen?

Speaker 6 (03:43):
Oh, Kathleen? Is that your wife? Girlfriends?

Speaker 3 (03:47):
I know?

Speaker 7 (03:48):
Actually Kathleen is an intern at my company. She's been
interning with me for a while now, and her actually
her internship is gonna come to an end here soon
and I'm really gonna miss her. So what did you
deserve the flowers?

Speaker 6 (04:00):
This sweet guy sending a woman flowers like that? What
a great guy you are.

Speaker 7 (04:05):
Yeah, I mean she's been such a great intern, so
I think she definitely deserves them.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
It's called War of the Roses.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
If you think your significant other is cheating, you call
us and we get the answers. Your wife called us
because she found what appeared to be roses, jewelry and
Valentine's Day gifts in your trunk. You did not give
her anything for Valentine's and the gifts are missing nothing.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Go ahead, Nicole. Maybe he's giving him to his intern.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
I am a flatterergasted. How how is your intern? Your
did you say your everything? I'm you could put it
up like all the time, Kathleen, right, like what please clarified?

Speaker 3 (05:00):
This is oh my god? All right, this is so weird.
First of all, first of all, what I can't believe
that you set me up like this. This is ridiculous.
And then also like you know that she is my
intern here, Victory, we've been talking about this. She's a
great intern. She's been helping me out of work constantly, making.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Sure that all my dead like all the deadline. She's
a TechEd off the list right now?

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Can I I just have to jump in, Mat. You
have not addressed where these gifts went. Where did the Valentine?
We know that the flowers went to Kathleen the victim.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
What about the jewelry and the chocolate or whatever was
in your trunk?

Speaker 3 (05:38):
She Kathleen recently just had broken up with by her
boyfriend and I got her from because she was in there.
Tell that she was super said at work. Wait, waitit
this situation.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
Wait, I'm not need a job, Matt. You were her
sugar daddy.

Speaker 8 (05:55):
This is disgusting.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
Why couldn't you.

Speaker 8 (05:58):
Tell me that?

Speaker 3 (05:58):
No, I'm her boss right now for an internship, and
you know we you know that we don't pay these
interns that well again, wait.

Speaker 5 (06:05):
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. You're her boss,
she's your intern. You don't think that that's inappropriate, like
in the least, No, I.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Don't think it's inappropriate, not at all. Well, you win
through why stuff to find the gifts? If we're being honest,
that's inappropriate.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
You know in Matt's defect.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
We're being honest.

Speaker 8 (06:21):
Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's doing Okay, Yeah, I'm I'm
the bad person because I was thinking groceries out of
the drunk and I discovered this and you couldn't even
be man enough to tell me.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
Are you having an affair with your internal?

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Of course No, I'm not having a fair And we're
not celebrating Valentine' Day just because you've gained somebody a gift.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Celebration jewelry and flower jewelry.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
We're not going to dinner doing anything like. That's not
what it's all at the office, Nicole.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
We're not going to get anywhere on this if.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
I mean, I don't know if he's cheating, but it's
clearly disrespectful when you don't celebrate Valentine's with your wife
or significant other, but with somebody else you do. I
don't care if it's an intern or what. So I'm
gonna put you on holding the call. We will offer counseling,
couples counseling. If you guys want to go to counseling
together and work it out, we'll be happy to pick
up the tab.
