Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, guys, are you ready for war the Roses?

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Let's do it?

Speaker 1 (00:03):
Are we ever truly ready for it?

Speaker 3 (00:05):
No?

Speaker 4 (00:06):
All right, We're going to Cromwell because Christina thinks that
her husband Rick is cheating. I got to get her
story and see if we can get some answers. Good morning, Christina.

Speaker 5 (00:14):
Hey, good morning, guys.

Speaker 4 (00:16):
Welcome to the show. I'm sorry to hear that you
think your husband is cheating on you. We're going to
try and get you answers this morning. Tell me what
is going on to make you think your husband's cheating.

Speaker 5 (00:25):
Yeah, so, first of all, thank you guys so much
for helping. He works from home on Fridays. Okay, I'm
going to try to get through this with about getting emotional.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
I can do it, You can do it.

Speaker 5 (00:36):
I noticed that the backyard ring camera goes offline on
Fridays when he's home.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
Interesting, Okay, is the outside like smoking a cigarette and
he's not supposed to smoke, so he turns the camera
off that something like that.

Speaker 5 (00:49):
I don't know. It doesn't detect motions, so like the
dogs usually set it off every day because they play
in the backyard.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
Okay, so it does detect motion, So I see, the
camera will go off if there's motion in the backyard.
But since the dogs go out and play in the
backyard all the time and the camera's not going off,
it must be offline.

Speaker 5 (01:08):
Right right, Yeah? Yeah yeah, And it's just that The
whole reason that bothers me is that he's been super
chatty with one of our neighbors in the neighborhood group
chat like the neighbor that lived across the street from us.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
Okay, is it like a single like woman thing going on?

Speaker 5 (01:27):
I don't know if she's single. I have only ever
met her. She might be dating somebody I.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
Don't know, okay, but he's very chatty and flirty with her.
It's not like an eighty year old woman.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
No, okay, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
You can tell you I gotcha. I gotcha.

Speaker 5 (01:44):
Because the camera faces the backyard in the back door,
I think that he's sneaking her in through the back
door on Fridays, and like that's why the camera goes offline.
Does that make sense? Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Yes it does.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
I knew as soon as she said back door.

Speaker 6 (01:59):
Well, this whole technology stuff is really killing the whole
cheating game.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
I don't like anything better. I mean killing the cheating game.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Well, I mean, we.

Speaker 6 (02:07):
Had one episode of War of the Roses a few
weeks ago where the guy's aura ring was setting.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Off a number. Yeah, yeah, yeah, this is crazy.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
But you're saying like it's a bad thing that people
aren't able to cheat.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Anyways, this is about Christina.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
So Christina, you think that basically your husband is cheating
on you at least every Friday with the neighbor next
door Vanessa.

Speaker 5 (02:29):
Yeah, okay, all right.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
I'm gonna put you on hold. We're gonna get some answers.
Feel free to, you know, confront your husband if you like. Okay, okay, okay,
hold on. That is so weird.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Yeah, I'm like not the camera thing is really just sketched.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Like, come on, bro.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Hello, Hi, good morning? Is Rick there? Oh yeah, Rick?

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Rick?

Speaker 2 (02:55):
This is Andrew from Flowers Express. How are you this morning?

Speaker 3 (03:00):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (03:00):
I'm doing well? Thank you for asking.

Speaker 6 (03:02):
Hey, I was just shooting you to call to let
you know that you actually won a dozen roses in
our online weekly contest.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Congratulations.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Oh I didn't enter in the context.

Speaker 6 (03:12):
Yeah, this is an amazing deal. Basically, it's a dozen roses.
We're not gonna send you the flowers, though, we're gonna
send them to swing on your behalf, maybe writing someone
else's day.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Okay, all right, sounds good.

Speaker 6 (03:25):
Awesome, cool. I love it nice and easy, Rick. Some people, man,
they give me so many problems when we're doing this.
But anyways, here's the deal. I have a card I
can attach to the flowers. We can get them out today.
If you can think of a message, maybe you'd like
to read.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
On the card.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Okay, I'll say freaky Friday.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
I'm sorry, what was that freaky Friday? You just want
me to write freaky Friday on the card?

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Yeah, all right.

Speaker 6 (03:54):
I can get that down for you. And who should
I address the card to? I'm sorry, did.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
You say yeah? Vanessa? Vanessa?

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Okay, I'm gonna jump in, Rick. This is Courtney. Savannah's
on the line, Walmart. Jeff is the florist.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
You're on the radio on Kiss ninety five seven, Christina.
Your wife has been listening in Christina. He sent the
roses to the neighbor.

Speaker 5 (04:19):
Yeah, I'm I'm so angry and disappointed and sad. Rick,
I don't even know where to start with you right now.
I am incredibly embarrassed and I'm.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
What is this is what is going on?

Speaker 5 (04:33):
Now?

Speaker 3 (04:35):
I'm really did you just pick up the phone? What
is going on?

Speaker 1 (04:37):
It's called War of the Roses.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
We get answers when people think there's significant other is cheating.
And you were very sketchy, apparently turning off the cameras
in the backyard every Friday when.

Speaker 5 (04:47):
You work from home exactly, Rick's stupid? Is that what
the film? You think I'm dumb enough to believe that
off cameras as normal.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
There is nothing going on. Okay, there's nothing going on.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
It is just I think I'm dumb. You think I'm stupid.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
No, it's just a it was a joke. Okay, it's
a joke. Yeah, well I saw I you know, I
see Vanessa every Friday when I'm working from home, and
I just thought it'd be funny to send, you know,
some flowers, so.

Speaker 4 (05:23):
You see her every Friday when the cameras are off
at your house.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
And it's freaky app it's not freaky Friday, right with
Let him explain.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
He's gonna just lie more.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Okay, it's time for you to come clean. We caught you.
I mean come clean.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
You're turning off cameras, you're writing freaky Friday, and you're
sending roses to the neighbor when you have a right all.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Right, okay, what the hell is going on? Fine, so
ever since you got pregnant, you've been miserable to be around. Okay,
and cool for carrying our child.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Okay, wait, you're pregnant.

Speaker 5 (06:04):
I am, and that's why I'm extra extra emotional.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Oh my god, Christina, Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
Oh look, I'm sorry, but she was just she's chill,
she's not she's no stress like.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
The time, and if you would cheat, you're stressing her out. Rick.
She's your wife, she's pregnant with your child. She's growing
a human.

Speaker 5 (06:29):
Oh my god. In stress is terrible for the baby.
I just you need to stop talking.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Rick.

Speaker 5 (06:33):
Okay, you've embarrassed me enough.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
You know what.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
I'm gonna jump in and I'm gonna end it right
here and putting on hold, Christy, I want to talk
to you off the I don't want questions for Rick.
No more questions, no more stress, all right, no more
question she's pregnant. I'm going to offer you couples counseling,
marriage counseling. We'll pick up the tab. But I do
want to I think it's we need to put you
on hold. Okay, take a breath. I'm gonna put you
guys on hold.

Speaker 5 (06:55):

Stuff You Should Know
Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
