I mean, we got a six hour plane ride home.

Oh okay, well I want first of all, we got
to start defensively. My god, you guys were good today.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
We were good. We were very good. I thought our
pressure was good. I thought we really really focused on
what we wanted to do and try to limit their
best players. I thought we did a terrific job on
Jazzy Davidson. She's a really good players, had a great
year so far, and I thought we made it very
difficult for her to operate.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
It seems offensively that you had a lot of different scoring.
It started strong with Williams and the paint, getting the
points in the paint, but opportunities everywhere with good ball movement.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Yeah, I thought we thought that they would have difficulty
guarding our movement and that's what the that's what happened.
I mean, I thought we made some really great cuts
and good passing. We shared the ball and we were
very balanced, very balanced, and you know, I don't and
it's funny because Sarah's strong didn't have one of her
best scoring games, but still has an impact on the game.

I thought Azy played really well on both ends of
the floor. We rebounded the ball well, which was good.
We just got you know, we have to It's part
of only being in nine games. We have to be
a little bit smarter, not foul as much, especially in
the fourth quarter.

This was a game that had eight lead changes in
the first seven minutes. Blanca Kenyonas comes in and totally
changes the game, starts a fifteen to nothing run.

Her contributions were big today.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Yeah. The only thing with Blanc is sometimes you don't
know if she's gonna help you or the other team.
It can happen both in the same possession. Some days it's,
you know, she helps us and then the next possession she
helps them. But she just you know, can change. Like
you said, she can come in and change the game
immediately on both ends. She did on the defensive end
and was able to get layups, and just the more

experience she gets with us because you know, and I
think we mentioned I don't know if we talked about this,
the shot clock. So she played the overseas where the
shot clock and they had only eight seconds to get
the ball over half court. So she is sped up constantly,
whereas we want to take a breath sometime. So balancing
her quickness and her speed and those abilities with you know,
score time situation. I think as she gets more experience here,

I think it'll help her.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
You talk about I feel an unsung hero role that
in her role, Ashley, she does a lot of good
things too. It just happens to you know, feed the
aggressor on defense, does what she needs to do on offense.
Just you know, one of those une sung roles that
seems to do a really good job with well.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
And today she knocked in shots too, so she, like
you said, it's another position where I think she we
have kids on our team that are just willing to
do what we need them to do at that point.
And Ash today ended up getting double digits, knocked in
some threes, made some really good help, you know, showed
up some defensively, was able to help us out. She's hard,

you know, when ash is playing like that, it's hard
to take her out of the game, you know. So
I think she ended up playing it maybe the entire.

Third quarter or yeah, scored eight points doing that third quarter.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Yeah, so she you know, that's certainly the balance and
just being able to put people in and just having
them do their job. With the Jane, I thought, gave
us good minutes off the bench just to do your job,
do what we need you to do at that time.
Nothing crazy, just you know, fill.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
In final thing for me. One great thing about today.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
You had a big lead at halftime, you basically put
pedal to the metal in the fourth, kept them out,
kept the foot down the throat, and you.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Finished them a good yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Yeah, I mean I thought in some of our previous
games the third quarter, you know, we were a little
more lackadaisical, and I thought we did a good job,
as you said, to to really focus and concentrate and
make it difficult on them. They weren't going to get
back in the game. Although the fans, if you would,
if you didn't know anything, you would think the game
was closer though they were a cheering when they scored.

But I thought we did a really good job keeping
them at bay and really making a good team not
look very
