Hmmm, what's going and how you most practice been so far?

Speaker 2 (00:14):
It's been good, man. Everybody just working hard, reaching for
the same goal. You know, for the season was the
U linebacker. You know, you got a lot of transfers in,
so everybody just working towards one goal.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Everybody working the same you know, just yeah, so good.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
You guys got a lot of guys with experience, the
older guys coming in.

Speaker 5 (00:34):
That does that help out?

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Of course, a lot of you guys played a lot
of ball, so when it comes to football, we all
know our assignments, you know, certain situations things like that.

Speaker 5 (00:44):
How difficult is the defense to pick up?

Speaker 3 (00:46):
It's not very difficult at as long as you know,
you're in your playbook at night, you know, you do
the extra work due the extra film things like that,
you gonna pick up on it easily.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
How long does it take the g good cohesion with
all these new.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Guys, It doesn't really take long. You just gotta get
the guys to buy in, you know, as soon as
they get here. Just just show them to work at it,
you know, that's all you gotta do.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
So a lot of offensive players, skilled players returning or
coming in the defense is kind of new, but you
guys kind of took control there and hear the ends
of the scrimmage today, I mean feel like the defense
is coming together.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
We're coming together, but we still have a lot of
work to do, Like we're nowhere near our potential.

Speaker 5 (01:23):
What do you like about the unit right now?

Speaker 3 (01:25):
What?

What are you doing well?

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Playing physical, play fast?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
You know, things like that, just the simple things like
fundamentals of football.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
What what made you feel like this is a place
for you?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Everything about it like opportunity, you know, Koch Mora, everything
about this place is just spectacular. It is year two
with Matt Rock, So do you see any changes from
last year?

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Like it is it a.

Speaker 5 (01:50):
Little easier for you to say, it's not hard to
pick it up.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
But what's it like on.

Speaker 5 (01:53):
From year one to year two?

Speaker 3 (01:55):
You know, it's it's obviously you know, I've been in
the system.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
So the leadership, bro is what I'm thinking about right now,
Like I have to lead the guys, you know, not
just do my job, but help other people do their job.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Things like that, like small little minute details. You know,
That's what I've been working on.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
So you feel you're up up for that?

Speaker 4 (02:12):
I mean, is that part of the reason you wanna
be here is to become a leader.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Of course, not just that, though, I just wanna you know,
we're all working towards the same goal. I just happened
to be one of those guys cause I was in
the defense last year.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
So you know, that's pretty much. You know, on my road,
it's the defense.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
What type of things in the summer do you guys
do to bring in the new guys and what kind
of activities.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
We just get We just get the mindset. We just
gotta get that mindset.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Like you know, I don't know if you heard what
Taekwon said, you gotta put the jersey on and the uniform.
I want to understand cause it's it's just it's just different, Okay.

Speaker 5 (02:43):
So what is the mindset? Try to explain it.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
There's no explanation. Honestly, it's just you gotta come in
and put the work every single day.
