Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, Mike down here with Graham maccarthur, the only
Husky of the eight hits tonight that had a multiple
hit game. But you've been swinging a pretty good bat lately.
What do you attribute to your recent success, frant.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
You know, I went through a little bit of struggle
kind of in the middle of the season, and I
just feel like, you know, Coach Horgan just told me
to keep sticking with it. Always reminded me that I'm
a good hitter, and I just feel like it was
a mindset thing to trust the process, and you know,
I trust it. I'll get back to the hitting well.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
The importance of bouncing back from Tuesday night. I mean,
Northeastern is a fantastic team with great pitching, but most
of the time lately, you guys have been raking another
double digit game tonight scorewise.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
Yeah, I mean, we just, like I said, we just
keep trusting the process too. As a team, you know,
we can't let one game bleed into another, and we
just got to keep bouncing back from day to day
to take one game at a time.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
It's kind to be nice to see that not just
you guys like Sam Tyler's been swinging the back great
all year, but Sam's been coming on as of late.
Ryan's been really good all year. It must be nice
to know our company are reassuring to know that it
just doesn't fall on you because the next guy or
the guy before he's going to get the job done.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Yeah. I mean, it doesn't fall on anyone. You know.
Our team is one through nine, like really really good.
You know, we trust everybody. We trust anyone up in
the night then and when the game is on the line,
and it's been really fun.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
What's it like to see Ali of our pitch and
the way he works. He's very efficient and he keeps
you guys engaged.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
It's awesome. I mean he just pounds his own works
really fast and he's been good for us all year.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
What's it been like here for you? Kind of your
experience here? Your first year here?
Speaker 2 (01:31):
I love it. You know, it's been really cool.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
What sold you to come to stores?
Speaker 2 (01:35):
I mean the coaches, the environment, the players, and the
success that we've had in recent years.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
So was it a little bit of adjustment getting used
to playing in cold weather for you or I mean
being a West Coast guy?
Speaker 2 (01:46):
Yeah, I mean it's starting to heat up though, so
it's been pretty nice
Speaker 1 (01:49):
So does that mean, you know, is there a coincidence
that the weather has helped you start swinging to hot
back
