I'm good good.

How would you evaluate the offense to this point? And kid,
I think we're heading in the right direction. We still
got a couple of pieces we need to fix overaw,
but I think overall we're heading in the right direction
and I'm excited for Game one.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Remember last season, Ronte was excited as all heck about
you in the progress that you beat in the off season.
What was this off season like for you or some
of the points of emphasis.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Just maintaining everything and just making sure everything still is
boiled and still on the same page, you know. I
mean I maintained over this offseason. I kind of focused
on my speed this offseason. I try to get my
speed a little faster so I can make breakaway plays
and go by defenders.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
What sort of things have impressed you from the new
guys stepping in an old line?

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Uh? The new guys, I mean, like those guys have
a lot of experiencing. The only person on the old
line that doesn't have an experience is probably ty Chan.
But those guys have been on the old line, have
been here, have played games for us, So I mean
I have a lot of confidence in those guys. I mean,
whoever comes in here, I know that the coaches will
get them right and will be a great team overall

in the front front five.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
So you feel something different with Joe and Nick both
being back and having that experience there.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Yeah, I mean overall, just everybody on this squad, the
bond is really different. We all really come together even
though like certain times like stuff might go a certain way,
but like we tain to maintain everything and just keep
it cool with everybody. So, I mean, those two people
that they're really good people, Joe and Nick. They're really
great leaders of this team. So you know, any personal

goals that you like to share with us. I said
it last time. My same goal is is I'm gonna
keep keep on going. I mean coming in here and
being the best player I can for this team. And
my personal goal is to be a thousand yard rusher.
So I mean I'm gonna stick by that and I'm
gonna do what I have to do to get that done.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
So you've got some repeat teams on the schedule this year.
I'm thinking, like Syracuse PC, do you have any extra motivation?
You know if you're losing teams like that the past couple.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Of years, Uh, you know, just they're they're they're really
great programs, you know, Syrahcuse Duke and BC, they're really
great programs. I mean, we just got to take a
one game at a time in my opinion. So I'm
focused on Central Connecticut right now.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
You still doing your barefoot pregame.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Always, man, I always keep thatting on. And also I
read the Bible before the game, and you guys don't
pretty much see that, but I'm reading. I'm reading the Bible,
trying to get my head right, getting the right good headspace,
talking to God and stuff like that. So good luck,
