Stuff, but you really knew a lot of You should
see his filing system of questions that he.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Dude wired to wire.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
You dominated that game.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
It was sort of like get as many points as
possible early on and then hold on for dear life
at the edge.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Yeah, that little guy in the suit was not having it.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Yeah, dude, what was he like?

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Eleven nicest guy in the world. I would say everybody
that I met on that show were amazing.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
I'm sure that you guys hung out and had drinks,
but the creepy wink of the eye and the wave, yeah,
he was doomed.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
I have a lot to thank for him, specifically because
he beat the three day champion last Friday.

Speaker 6 (02:40):
Right, knock that dude offs. That you could roll in
there and knock him off, you made it seem so
easy when we found out that you were on Jeopardy.
You made it seem like you were going down in
the first game. Right, You made it seem like you
were not going to win.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
I had to keep everything under wraps, and that was
by design. I didn't want to overplay it or underflame. Uh.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Wow, We're really proud of you, Arin.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Thank you guys so much, and thank you so much
for your support. It's been amazing to hear from like
random people that I haven't spoken with in twenty years,
former teachers from high school. It's been a really cool experience.

Speaker 6 (03:13):
You like, cousins coming out of the woodwork going So
you got twenty grand huh.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Yeah, it was going on.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
It's just cool because you know what adds to the lore,
the legend if you will, a Puget sound showdown University.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
That's right, That's that's where it all started, right.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
That's right.

Speaker 6 (03:29):
And it was really a nice sign that you had
an Olympic National Park question to start your thingfe.

Speaker 7 (03:34):
Had I gotten that wrong, that would have set me
down a very very dark path. Right, we know the
answer that and I was have been in a haze
at the beginning of the show. So had I not
gotten that, I know that psychologically would have definitely affected
me going forward.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Well, congratulations, we have no idea how far you go.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
You're clearly not gonna tell. I don't ask him.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Yeah, I'm going to.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
But so, like, is there like a wall at Jeopardy
in the Alex Trebek studios somewhere where every single Jeopardy
champion gets their name etched in something?

Speaker 4 (04:06):
I'd love that It'd be like the Stanley Cup, right, right,
I don't think there is, but I'll give you some insight.
After I won my game, we went back into the
green room and there is a small.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Closet with a star on the outside. It says Champions
Changing Room.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
Oh so I went into the closet, I changed into
my next outfit, and fifteen minutes later.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
I was back on the stage taping today's episode.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Wow. Wow. Oh, so it's like a marathon. How many
days would you do in a row?

Speaker 3 (04:38):
So they tape five episodes or a full week in
one day.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
All time is at seven forty five in the morning.
The first episode is taped at eleven am, and then
there are three episodes taped before lunch. There's an hour lunch,
and then they taped two after lunch.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
That's exhausting.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Did the second game have the same Did the second
game have the same feeling where you completely spent?

Speaker 4 (04:59):
I mean it's tough mentally, it's it's it's mentally fatiguing.
So I had one big diet coke for caffeine on
the buzzer and then.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Try to get back out there and do as well
as the first game.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Well, we're gonna crash. I know.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
It was it was it was. It was very impressive,
It really was. I mean, we knew you were smart.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
We love you.
