doing Radiothon will be live at the hospital next Tuesday
from six o'clock in the morning until seven o'clock at night,
thirteen hours, trying to raise money for the Uncompensated Care Fund,
which allows any mom and dad to bring their kid
to the hospital regardless of financial ability to pay for anything,

because mom and should have worried about that. So even
if you have the best insurance in the world, even
if you have no insurance, the Uncompensated Care Fund is there.
And I've had a couple people ask, what do you
mean even if you have insurance, I don't know by you,
but your kid goes to the doctor, goes to the hospital,
whatever it is. The deductible is ridiculous. And then once

the deductible is paid for, where you have to rack
up enough of the deductible paid off to have insurance
pay for what needs to be paid for it theyn't always.

Pay for very ridiculous diagnostic testing anything. Blood work isn't always.

Covered, so it's the Uncompensated Care Fund. The hospital will
step up and help you pay the bills. So that's
why we do what we do every year. And at

over nineteen million dollars in donations since this thing was started, fantastic.

having Bender food. They also bring Bender his own stupid food,

why we do what we do every year. And at
some point during this Radio Thumb we're going to cross
over nineteen million dollars in donations since this thing was started, fantastic.

This year is no different. The online auction is up
and live and is good to go for the next week.
It will end just before Radio Thought ends next Tuesday

guy over there. He's also a Jeopardy champion, and he

has played Puget Sound Showdown many of times, and we're
going to bring him in here and you get to
bid on coming in in here to play Puget Sound
Showdown in an extended game against Aaron live here in studio.

Right, So it's like you get to play Puget Sound
Showdown and you get to meet Aaron Levine and you
get a studio tour.

Also, Yeah, really cool stuff. That's a really fun one.

really fantastical. They donated in the hospital. That's fantastic. Whe's Jody,

This year we're doing it a bit differently. Yeah, it's
changed a little bit over the games, a little bit
over the years. First of all, Angel of the Winds
Casino Resort doing the UH catering again, so it's a
multi course meal and as opposed to one person winning it,
I've opened it up to three different auction items under

the same umbrella of dinner at my house.

So basically bidding to attend a dinner party's.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
Corect dinner party at my house.

And just so everybody's clear, we talk about and make
fun of your childlike palette that you only eat chicken
tendis and plane burgers, but that is not the meal
that you are bidding on. This meal that they did
last year was like super fancy with past or derves
and specialty cocktails. Yeah, so this is legit. You're not
having Bender food. They also bring Bender his own stupid food,

you know, like a little bag of popcorn or something.
But everybody else what they have last year Risota a
gorgeous Yeah, gorgeous manter of fact.

online auction. The Mariners have once again stepped up. We've
got three different Mariners auctions. One have your kid yell

and there's a kid up on the big screen and
they get to yell playball. You also have the game
ball delivery. You also have the on field watching batting
practice before the game with the Mariners, and all of those,

up at avalon Golf Links, Seahawks tickets Thursday Night Football
the Seahawks and the Rams. It is a week from
this Thursday.

And that comes with on field passes before the game.
So you get to see you know, all the players
and get to see Blitz and take a picture with him.
We've got the Kraken Sweet. We've got a Lego party
at Bricks and Minifigs at Northgate. There's a ton of stuff.

There's golfing with Bender, right, which is you get Bender
all to yourself for many hours. And I.

is the game of Puget sound show down with Aaron
Levigne in studio if we win the auction. I don't know.
First to ten, No, it'll probably be fifteen. I don't know.

like the best of three, best of three games. Yeah, yeah,
nor we don't know. But you get to come in studio.
You have to play Pewted Sound Showdown up against not

Aaron levinover at Fox thirteen, but he is a three
time Jeopardy champion. So you get to come in and
you get to be humiliated right here on the air
with how smart Aaron is and how smart you are
not against the Jeopardy champion. Well, it's gonna go one
of two ways.

We're gonna get somebody who's a total masochist who just
wants to be beaten into the ground, or we're gonna
get someone who's pretty decent, because we got a lot
of really Hall of Fame quality trivia players who listen
to this audience and in this audience.

of meth through the bank's tube system. He was he
was in the drive room and according to the bank
employee who was handling the drive through window, uh, they
called the police because the employee found a crystal like
substance consistent with meth in a baggie that had accompanied

transaction sent through one of the bank's air tubes.

Oh God, imagine that idiot in his car like holding
onto the bag and then he went to put the
deposit in and he realized and he's just like.

Oh, okay, were you holding onto the math while putting
because you because you got the tube there, yeah, and
you you open up the top of it and you
drop in the check or the cash or the bank
slip and then you close it and then you put
it up the tube that it takes off. Right.

his hand, and so he dumped everything in there.

Oh you think that the math wound up in the tube? Yes,
and not. He was holding onto the math while trying
to put the the tube thing into the I.

Think it went into the tube because he was clutching
onto it. You know how sometimes like when you're walking
around the kitchen, you have multiple things in your hands,
and then you know, by a mistake, you put the
milk back in the pantry and you put the crackers
and the refrigerator. This was a crackers in the refrigerator situation,
but it was meth.

What a nightmare? According to UH, the ensuing investigation authorities
determined that the defendant had inadvertently sent the package of
math to the bank through the tube.

Oh man, or what if that was like meth delivery
service gone wrong? Because Larry was supposed to be at
the bank at that particular brand ordered the drive you know,
like with extra pepperoni or whatever they say for you
to get the math with some money.

So then the girl working the drive through window at
the bank is Larry. Larry that showed up right. Let
me ask you if you're working the window cool, I'm
asking this is the wrong question. Turn it around, ask

know what meth looked like? Yeah, I've watched a lot

thing that just came through the air tube, and you

pop it open and you take out the cash and
the check and also in a little baggy of powder
pops up, I guess it would be I wouldn't know

probably that this is there's something illicit in here. Let
