Speaker 1 (00:00):
Did you figure out what your beeping was in your car?

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (00:02):
Thank you to all the listeners who said, hey, that's
not your car, that's your easy Pass.

Speaker 4 (00:08):
Wait a minute, so your easy Pass was beeping, Yes,
in your glove compartment.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
No, it's not in my glove compartment. It's stuck to
my windshield.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Wait, where's your easy Pass?

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Right to the right side of my rear view mirror.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
That's where mine is.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
So it's right above where the glove compartment was, which
is why I thought it was coming from the glove compartment.
But when all these dms started to come in and
Christen said, she got a bunch of calls saying have
her check her easy pass.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
After the show yesterday, she.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
And I went downstairs like a couple of detectives and
detached it from the windshield and was like, damn, if
it's not the easy.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Pass, couldn't you put your ear up to it and
hear it.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
I wasn't thinking. I never think about the easy pass.
So it sounded it the way it was, with the
way it was bouncing off like the dash, it sounded
like it was coming from my glove compartment.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
You know, it wasn't too long ago.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
I used to always keep my easy Pass in the
glove compartment because I thought it looked trashy hanging off
of the winds.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
And then I was like, whatever, I'll just keep it
up there.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
The but I've never heard of an easy pass beep
it did everybody know? It's like, I've never heard of that.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Things like ten years old, and so I guess.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
This and everybody's easy past ten years old.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
I would assume.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
And then it starts to fail, but there's no way
for you to open it to change a battery.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
You just have to either go to a couple.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Of certain d mvs where you can do an exchange,
or like I did yesterday, here we go. So I
had to, So I went to go to Giant to
buy a new one. So I'm like, what do I
do with the old one? So I was on the
phone with like the the easy pass people.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
What you can buy an easy pass at Giant?

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Yeah, that's where That's where I bought my last one.
The I had no Giant wag bins. No, yes, what
aisle is that? On customer service A cigarettes? Cigarettes there, cigarettes,
lottery tickets and easy passes.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
I had no idea. Yeah, I had no idea.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
So I had to.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Minded like some easy pass store.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Well, I mean, like I think like a trip. They said,
triple A stores have them. I don't know where a
triple A store is, because they said, well you can.
You can go and exchange it at a dm certain DMVs,
but the closest ones were Woodbridge or Shantilly. And I
was like, that's too far to drive. I'll I'll just mail. Yeah,
drive me crazy, so I'll just I said, I'll just
mail it. But I said there's no way to disable

(02:14):
this beep. And the guy's like no, he said, wrap
it in tinfoil.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Right, that's how I used to keep it in my
glove compartment.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Said wrap it in tinfoil and then just pack it up,
take it to the post office. So I put it
in tinfoil. I put like six layers of bubble wrap
in there, and so I walk into the post office store.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
No to mail it, I have to mail it the
old ones.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
You can't just turn it in.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
No.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
No, if I didn't, if I didn't want to drive
the Woodbridge is Schantilly, You're like, toss it out the
window right now. No, So I went I had got
my new one. Then I had to go to the
post office with this bag that was beeping, and I
was like aluminum foil in like six layers of bubble
wrap in a padded envelope with the address that you
send it to easy Pass PO box one two three four.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
I'm like, could this look any faker?

Speaker 3 (03:02):
I was like, you have y'all have to pick one
two three four as your PO box. And then I
sent it to Clifton Forge, which is country y'all. Because
I had a friend from at Radford who was from
Clifton Forge. He gave me my first taste of venison.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
So this is like, we didn't lie to Hoby when
he gave you some of his it was different.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
That was sausage. This was straight up venison right at Radford.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
I had no idea how.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
And walking into the post office with my beeping, patted
envelope and I was just like, God, please don't say anything,
Please don't say anything.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
She didn't say a word.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
She just was they probably see they're probably used to.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Put the postage on it. And I went on my way.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
First one that comes in, though, I bet you panic
a little bit. Yeah, but isn't that weird. I've never
heard of that, and we've.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Had and there was no time, no way to disable
the beeping unless you toss it out.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
What happens if you don't turn it in?

Speaker 3 (03:55):
I mean there there Now there was a way to
there was a way going through the website on your
account to say report it lost or stolen. But I
was like, no, I'm just I'm following the directions I
was given, and then I and then I got the
new one and then it's it's hooked up. But it's like,
you know, you can't use it out of state for
a couple of days because it has to register.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Are you seriously? Yeah? Wait, so like what do you
do if you want to use it in Maryland?

Speaker 2 (04:19):
It's since forty eight hours?

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Oh so you can't get on the Inner County connector, which.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
I never have anyway, So I'm good. But if I
use it in driving north through Baltimore, going anywhere Virginia
is fine. All right, anyway, listen, thank you, but everybody,
thank you because I never.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Did how many people were like it?

Speaker 2 (04:42):
You're easy of a million years would have checked that.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
I thought those people were jacket with you. I I've
never heard of that before.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
I was so happy

Speaker 4 (04:49):
In hindsight, though, do you feel stupid that you took
your phone and you recorded your glove compartment with the
beef was coming from up on the window pretty much
