I'd never so I had never heard of it, never
seen it, didn't know the song nothing.

That was my fourth or fifth time going. And it's great.
You just have to accept it for when it was installed.
And yeah, they've made changes over the years. But he
made it seem like on the phone, they're not able
to just put in the monster Zinc thing. They're going
to have to do some other renovations.
Speaker 7 (05:56):
Oh yeah, well, I mean the room is forever old,
so yeah, they have to do some rendom. And I guess.

Disney announced in January that they were going to close
the Muppets Vision thing and that it would be in June,
and people were like, they talked to somebody, some dude
from Buffalo, thirty nine year old from Buffalo said, I
was all cried out.
Speaker 7 (06:20):
He wore a shirt that said save Muppet visions.
Speaker 8 (06:24):
That'll work. Now, what's the Muppet representation? Moving forward?

At the park, Eric Klingersmith showed up early on the
last day to be amongst the first to experience the film.

I guess it's like a movie in there.

He watched it multiple times and waited in line forty
minutes just to purchase pressed penny souvenirs. He was back
later when the crowd that evening sang Rainbow Connection outside
the entrance. Klingersmith said it was too much and he
had to call it a day.

So did they only sing it once? Because I have video?

people there then, I feel like you would get a
sense hearing.

That sounded like just a couple because it was yeah,
because that was like recording a distance away.

Listen, I didn't even know they I've never even heard
that there's a Muppet thing there. I definitely didn't hear
that they were closing it. But it seems like they're
the Muppet Vision plays had a lot of fans.
Speaker 11 (10:00):
Oh, I certainly did. And I mean it's a it's
a really cool kind of ahead of its time show.
It's Muppet Vision four D, so it has the the
bubbles that come down, it has the scent. I mean,
it is really immersive. But there is going to be
a new Muppet attraction at MGM or Hollywood Studios.

couple of years ago when we went to Disney, and

the whole lobby was like full of Easter eggs to
look for while you're waiting to get into the ride,
Like there was this big rope net up in the
ceiling that was full of cubes of gelatin and it
was supposed to be a net full of jello, like a.

But it was so cool. You would go in and
there movie posters like that parodied all these different movies
with muppets in them, and you would go into the
theater and there were you know, Statler and Waldorf puppets
were really there, and the Sweetams had come running out
at one point like a guy in the full suit
to interact with the movie. And it was just it
was really cool. It's just kind of you know, it
wasn't there for thirty plus years, you know, for no reason.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
Solutely listen. I thought it was very cool. That's why
I brought it up. Diane is the one who's yelling like, oh.
Speaker 9 (17:54):
Is killing me over there.

The Muppets are like a difining personality trade in mind,
