Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, let me go back to Friday. Friday, somewhere around
seven fifteen or so in the morning, we got a
call from Joseph.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
I don't know Joseph. I've never met Joseph in my life.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
Now, remind me. Did he say he was gonna go
by Joseph or did he just introduce himself as Joseph.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Oh, that's a good question. I just have referred to
him as Joseph. I don't remember him saying, Hey, I'm
gonna go by Joseph.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Well, that happens a lot where people fell in and
use a vic name.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Sure, of course.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
I don't know the answer to that. I don't know
the answer to that. I just remember addressing him as Joseph.
And Joseph said that he had been out in some
park or some wooded area walking his dog in Frederick
and it stumbled across a dead body.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
What was it eighteen days ago?

Speaker 1 (00:52):
This goes back to Friday, eighteen days ago, and he
had never noticed notified police.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Now I did have a question.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Did he make it sound like he had previously seen that,
or that he that was he saw it eighteen days
ago and that was the first time he had seen it.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
I think that was the first first time he saw
the last time, so.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
He had seen it since eighteen days ago.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
I got that sence.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Now, the other thing that came up was he had
never called the police. Now, in an attempt to call
the police, I told him do.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Urge him to Yeah, what did I say, attempt urge?

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Yeah, to call the police. I was like, dude, call
the cops. Well, apparently that's a headline. Why can't that's
how you talk to people? But like all of the
and the story got picked up, Well, let me get
to the end. So anyway, he did agree that he
would call the police or go with the police to
go see the body, and we'll get we'll get into

(01:57):
that part, which I'm glad he did. And I started
seeing the report show up that because there was some
question was.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
It a previous story?

Speaker 1 (02:07):
But no, this is a brand new story, a brand
new dead body to the Frederick Police Department.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Would you like me to read their post from twelve
eighteen on Friday, please, We are aware of information and
shared earlier today on a local radio station regarding him.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
I got an idea Elliott in the morning.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Regarding the ceased individual found in a wooded area off
East Street and Carroll Creek Crossing. Detectives from our Criminal
Investigation's Division responded, located the individual, and are now conducting
an active investigation. At this time, there is no threat
to the public. Anyone with information is asked to contact.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Okay, only thing wrong with that is they didn't mention
the show. They're the police. I can deal with that.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Yeah, at least they didn't pull the transcript. I can
id the headline headlines, I say, make this show sound dumb.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Because of dude.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Why is that so bad? Why is that dude call
the god? What am I supposed to say? Sir gentlemen?
What am I supposed to say? Like I speak the
Queen's English.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
No, I'm just saying for something that got picked up
a lot.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Oh, it's everywhere they see.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
I mean, I'm telling you, I know this is going
to end up on the Daily Mail. Oh yeah, yeah,
I hope you liked your outfit that day because they're
going to tell you how to buy it.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
So anyway, and I know it's starting to go around,
and you know, listen some of the some of the
stories were man finds dead body, calls radio station.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Okay, now, so two things.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Number One, it seems as though an overwhelming majority of
people think Joseph is the killer. No, I'm being serious now,
A lot they think that Joseph is the one who
killed him. I guess Joseph and I didn't go back
and listen to the call, but I guess Joseph said
they can identify Teddy.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Yeah, there was a name mentioned at the end, yes.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
And that he looked like he was in really bad
shape and had been there for I think Joseph had
said that he had been there for months.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Is can Joseph call me?

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Should be able to I don't think Joseph's involved with
the death. I have no idea I am.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
That never occurred to me until I started seeing everybody
saying that.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Everybody thinks Joseph is the killer. I think it's just
and they have a million reasons why.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
But a lot of it is the the the nature
of the call.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
It was creepy. No one is arguing that it's not right.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
It was a strange morning, but that's how you counter
program a station flipping.

Speaker 5 (04:51):
To Christmas music. That's how it works. It's a business.
So yes, it was very weird. But people people were
like he knew where the body was.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
It had been eighteen days and he had seen it
multiple times.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Killers always returned to the scene of the crime.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
It's not why I was in Frederick on Saturday. By
the way, I have zero to do with it, even
though he did point out that I've been.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
You've been up there. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
By the way, that was the so playing Beer League
hockey on Saturday night.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
A couple of like, there's the guys on the team.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Some listen and they were like, Hey, whatever happened to Joseph?

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Did they arrest them for killing them?

Speaker 1 (05:33):
And a couple other people were like, hey, was Tyler
up that way?

Speaker 6 (05:40):
Just doing some Christmas shopping and grabbing lunch? That's all
so anyway. Number One, I don't know. I don't know, Joseph.
If you're listening, I invite you to call me please.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Number two, if anybody from the Frederick Police Department is listening,
is I just want to know.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
Is Joseph being looked at as a suspect.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
They're not gonna tell you that.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Why wouldn't they.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
It's because it's an active investigation. They don't like to
comment on stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
I am actively involved. I am actively involved.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
I put on a blue sky this morning. I wonder
if the guy who called during follow ups for the
Potomac Yard hoa knows why he got tens of thousands
of downloads or just stop listening after hanging.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
Up number three? You know who's pushy?

Speaker 4 (06:40):
Who?

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Reporters? Who? So I heard from? So I get a call?

Speaker 1 (06:49):
I got a text on Friday from Julie Donaldson, who
I guess works at Fox five. Now I had no idea, Like,
I remember her when she was part of the broadcast
team for the Commanders, and I.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Know she lost that job. She got fired. That's okay.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
So she sent me a text and was like, Hey,
we're doing a story on the dead body.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
And then the guy who.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Called you, he's like, great, can you zoom in for
an interview? Now I first thought she meant come to
Fox five, and then I realized she.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Probably meant to get zoom. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Well, I was in the car, and so I said, Hey,
I'm in the car heading to the Caps game. Sorrying
another text, how about you just conference in on the
phone for two minutes. I know I'm being pushy. At
least she recognized. At least she recognized it.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
But now I'm in the car, like, now I'm on
sixty six.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
I can't stop and do all of that, And I'm
not doing that while I'm driving with a window down
smoking a cigarette. So I didn't see that one until later.
So then I got to the arena and I was like, well,
I'm not doing it now. I'm getting ready to watch
a game. But I do remember from when she was
doing Commander's games that the that she went.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
To Florida, that she's a Gator.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
So I did send her a couple of updates from
the Tennessee Florida game, all right, so that she probably appreciated.
Who's the dick from Channel nine?

Speaker 3 (08:23):
What do you mean by that?

Speaker 2 (08:25):
So somebody from Channel nine.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
I don't have the guy's name, but he would started
calling around trying to find me, which is fine, I
understand all of that.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
I get that, I get somebody trying.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
To track the story down, but I guess he doesn't
have my number. So he started calling Jackie. So Jackie
comes in and goes, do you know this guy? He's
trying to reach reach you and he's calling me, and
I was like, screw that, Like, what are you calling
my wife for?

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Didn't he call you, Kristen, yeah, me, Oh he called
you two?

Speaker 4 (08:57):
Yeah, I didn't answer it in Jersey.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Did he call Lindsay no, Scott, no, Mike. So he
calls the three of you but my wife.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
But you're It's so easy to find cell phone numbers online,
and I bet there was just a listing where it
said your name with her number? Did you buy the
phone for her?

Speaker 2 (09:19):
I don't know. Only one of us work, so I
would assume yes.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
So why he could have just said yes, they thought
it was your phone?

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Did it with my money?

Speaker 3 (09:28):
I know that I didn't open up that can of word.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
By the way, you could ask that about anything Jackie has,
Stop it please, I'm sure that's why.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
So I don't know.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
I didn't even get the guy's name, Alito Aliyah Ilia
think yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
I think he said he was a judge or something.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
The no, what is his name?

Speaker 3 (09:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
I have no idea who it was.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
Yeah, the transcription, UH didn't give me an accuratecy.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
So you didn't call him back? Now rude?

Speaker 3 (10:01):
And I do think the station was contacted directly and
not us as individuals. It does not seem like they
chose to respond. But I know, like Frederick News Post
Baltimore Banner. Like newspapers reached out as well.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
By the way, I touched the guy from the I
eat when I'm uncomfortable.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
You have to text because you were in the middle
of a Julie.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
I can't do an interview. I'm in the middle of
a bacon, eg and cheese sandwich. I touched the guy
from the Frederick News Post. What if people are He
never responded.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
Tuned in for the first time this morning.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
Hey, what's the update on that murder?

Speaker 3 (10:37):
You just hear you eating through the entire segment, Like,
what the hell is this show? Listen?

Speaker 4 (10:43):
I knew he's mad, quoted him saying, dude, you're.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
Aware that there was going to be some brain rot
and now he's just openly eating. What kind of sandwich
is that?

Speaker 2 (10:54):
I'm sorry, I said bacon, egg and cheese sausage.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
You get it accurately.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Four naval bagels who were like, thanks for the plug.
Does it have to be during the murder investigation? I
thought the Frederick And by the way, you know who's petty.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
W t op.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
I have no problem saying the name of that station.
They're horrible, worst news station in America. They won't say
the name of the show. They won't say the name
of the show. They called a radio station, Well say it, dummy.
So I don't know where anything sits. I would love

(11:38):
an update from the Frederick Police Department and listen at
the end of the day, I hope, I hope that
whoever that they are able to identify whoever's body it
was that was in the woods.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
And those were a lot of the comments, especially on
the Frederick Police Department's Facebook ours mean more towards fingering Joseph,
but there were people really concerned because they had family
or friends that stayed in those woods. You were in
and out of housing. So there is at the core
of this.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
Oh that's right, because didn't Joseph say human being, right,
didn't Joseph say that it was it was a former
tense city, yes, right, So yeah, people were people were
living there.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
And I don't see anywhere that they've identified publicly.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
Right, But I hope, I hope that they were able
to That's the most important part.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Like, and you're right, at the at the end of
it all, there's a dead person.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
Yeah, I mean you think if you've got for people
who live up in that area, who've got missing friends
or family.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Sure, you know, And I hope they're able to find
identify him and then find next of kid. Like that's sad.
Number two, I'd really really like an update. I just
want to know everybody. When I say everybody, it's like

(13:04):
ninety nine percent everybody thinks. Everybody thinks Joseph killed him.
I didn't go there. No, the stomach just ground me.
You should eat during the report.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
Or are you just anxious talking about this?

Speaker 7 (13:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (13:19):
You could be anxious. I don't. I don't believe Joseph
is the guy.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
I'm with you, Diane.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
I didn't either.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
I mean, well you didn't, do you? Now?

Speaker 3 (13:32):
No?

Speaker 4 (13:33):
I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
Internet Internet sluice ripped his call apart.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
How do they know his name is Teddy? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (13:44):
That was a weird inclusion? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (13:46):
Or did he was that just like a or is
that like me saying that old boy.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
Something like that?

Speaker 3 (13:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (13:52):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
I have no idea more slag? Does this show you
anything else? It's like being at home? Oh god, I
Betty loves the six seven meme. That old dude? Uh?

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Where am I going? Line three?

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Hi?

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Elliott the morning.

Speaker 8 (14:18):
Yeah, Elliott, good morning, how are you?

Speaker 2 (14:19):
I am, Well, thank you. What can I do for you?

Speaker 8 (14:22):
Well, I only listen to talk radio and if you
guys aren't on, I'm listening to the wtop news garbage
news last night, like, oh, you know it is, but
it's it's entertaining.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
Okay.

Speaker 9 (14:34):
It was probably eight thirty last night and they were
doing a report on the show and they actually said
Elliott in the morning, and she sound like she was
gonna throw up. She didn't want to say it, like,
honest to God, she didn't want to say it, but
she begrudgingly did say Elliott in the morning.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
Well, you know what, I'll credit then Matt Mills for
in clip making.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
Sure, you got to give the facts. You gotta give
the So that's fine.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
So thank you, And I'm sorry that woman had to
utter my name, but I love Joe.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
I appreciate it. Thank you, sir, Thank you. Find one.
Hi ya, yeah the morning. Hey, this is me, Yes, hi,
who's this?

Speaker 7 (15:19):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (15:19):
What's up? Man?

Speaker 7 (15:20):
Hey? How you doing?

Speaker 2 (15:20):
My name is Joe. Hey.

Speaker 7 (15:22):
So I work in farm rescue in one of the
surrounding counties and we kind out, you know, everybody kind
of communicates and and a lot.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
Of guys who work go ahead, go ahead.

Speaker 7 (15:35):
Anyways, I know somebody who's a dispatcher and Frederick and
they got some some inside scoops. So although this is
a little bit through the grape vine us coming from
from good source. So apparently this guy who called into
the show and reported to you guys that they found
this body has made has made multiple calls in the past. Yeah,

(16:01):
and apparently Joseph is in alive in some ways. Apparently
it's his middle name. They were able to do a
Facebook search on this guy and apparently looks up like
a real prefall Facebook and whatnot. I do know that
there's been posts and apparently calls in the past from
him where he's threatened to kill his landlord. So I

(16:26):
don't know if that's just somebody talking talking some some
preft to somebody that don't like And by that I
mean by Joseph, but that's kind of the inside word.
I got the other thing.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
I know, and and your you're first of all, you're
talking about a listener number two. That's her say, we
don't know, I mean, I listen, I do. I believe
you were told that one hundred percent. I was not
told that at all. But at the but and even if,
even if he has made reports and stuff in the past,
he did find the dead body, and he did bring

(17:01):
police to the dead body.

Speaker 3 (17:03):
We don't know that.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
Oh wait, so we just know that the police found
the dead body, because didn't Joseph tell me a thank you, sir.
Didn't Joseph tell me he was going to call the
police and ride with them.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
He said that whether or not they wanted him to,
we don't know. We have no word on it.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
And if you were the suspect, why would you go
with the police.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
I don't even think it was a murder.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
That's why I'm saying if.

Speaker 3 (17:32):
But plenty people did point out that they like.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
The press at the Yeah, but get it right.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
And whoever the Channel nine guy is, stop calling my wife.
She didn't do nothing. Hi Elliot in the morning.

Speaker 10 (17:52):
Hey, good, good morning, Elliott morning class.

Speaker 7 (17:54):
Yes, sir, Hey, I guarantee you.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
This Joseph is.

Speaker 10 (17:58):
If he is not a suspect, he's definitely a person
of interest.

Speaker 3 (18:01):
It's kind of like, you.

Speaker 10 (18:03):
Know, if your spout does. Here's the first one that
gets questioned.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
I think the person in the field was his wife.

Speaker 10 (18:11):
No, but I'm just saying but he found the dead body,
he's gonna be a person of interest if not a suspect.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
Well, it's not a crime to fund to stumble across
a dead body.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
I mean, you stumbled across the crime.

Speaker 4 (18:24):
But the questions are why wait so long?

Speaker 3 (18:26):
Too?

Speaker 1 (18:26):
Well, there's some things I can answer, well.

Speaker 10 (18:32):
Crime, Yeah, Well, but he found the dead body, he
didn't report it for a long time. And again it's
always going to question the person who finds a dead
body or you know, something like that. He's definitely a
person of interest.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
Well, we'll see. I haven't heard from either one. I
have not heard from the police, and I have not
heard from Joseph. I have heard from Julia and.

Speaker 10 (18:56):
Top and Top did did mention you in print this
morning that I saw?

Speaker 2 (19:01):
So they you know what? You know what?

Speaker 1 (19:02):
Then good on them, Good on them. This will help
improve their credibility. All right, very good, CEO. We've got
to optimize for the search engines. I guarantee they spelled
it with two teas. What is the go back.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
To some though?

Speaker 1 (19:18):
Did you did you say you thought that he had
seen the body before.

Speaker 3 (19:23):
Or thought from the call?

Speaker 2 (19:25):
Right, he had gone by multiple times?

Speaker 1 (19:29):
And and the other thing that people got all wrapped
up in with Joseph Is when he said I've always
fantasized about this.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
He actually kicked off the call and he couldn't remember
the athlete. But it wasn't it Drake May who spotted
that body in San Francisco. He referenced that and said,
we didn't understand how you're able to collect yourself to
be able to perform then, and he said that there's
been some fantasy of his seeing a as person.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
And he did.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
And now, if you remember, Tyler was a little upset
with me because I didn't follow up on something that
I should have.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
And now I wish I would have his dream.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
Oh that whole talk of his vision.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Remember he said he had a dream, and that's why
he called me. I was more consumed with, dude, call
the cops than I was with the dream.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
You said it so many times, But.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
Now, but now I want to know what the dream was.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
Well, at least, like we said, there is an investigation ongoing.
The individual has been located and maybe for someone there
can be closure.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
That's the most important, and it's with one team, not two.
Second most important, and.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
If not reporting a dead body is a crime, let's
look at Joseph before we look at Diana. People did
wonder about Diane.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
Wait, what was what's the Diane thing?

Speaker 4 (21:13):
I told you I the first email did Diane?

Speaker 2 (21:16):
Did Diane dead body?

Speaker 4 (21:18):
No? The first email I got regarding this was on
October the eighth, where it was just did you not
say anything?

Speaker 3 (21:25):
It was a series whoa whoa let The cops questioned
her for that.

Speaker 4 (21:32):
It was a series of pictures, the same ones that
he had sent before. He sent that on October the eighth.

Speaker 2 (21:39):
How about you?

Speaker 4 (21:39):
I oh me, I replied to him.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
Hold on, oh oh, no, I accomplished.

Speaker 4 (21:46):
No, I replied to him, Okay, we need a little
backstory here. He replied on November the fifteenth. It took
him like six weeks to get back to me. Okay,
and then he went to and explained a little bit
more about the situation, and then that is when. And
then so I was what Saturday the fifteenth? And then

(22:08):
he called on Friday?

Speaker 2 (22:11):
So you've been sitting on this.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
I I didn't think it was real.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
That's why you got to forward that to me. You
forward me pictures of Dino's not.

Speaker 4 (22:22):
Dinosaurs, So okay you should Is that a misstep on
my part. Absolutely, I'll take one.
