tell you. I didn't hear about your knife story, but
I've got one that happened to me like years ago
in Brooklyn. And this was going back to you know,
Ocean Parkway or if you haven't been to Brooklyn when
you were out there in New.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
York, Ocean Parkway. Little fun story.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
My mother was from Ocean Parkway and Avenue I think.
Speaker 10 (21:05):
Oh maybe, Okay, Well, this is where it happened. It
was Elshan Parkway, somewhere around Avenue M and I was
twenty something years old walking down there by myself. These
two guys are behind me. They're pacing me. I noticed them.
One of them decides to throw a bottle and it
smashes at the tree next to me. Now that part
(21:25):
in near Avenue m there's a cemetery to the right.
It's like a deserted area. Right, I'm twenty something five
foot one. I turned around. I look at these guys.
I'm like, what's the as for you do it? And
the guy he was with his buddy and he's just what.
The buddy's like, Oh no, I didn't do what the
other guy did. And so now I'm pissed and I'm
going going up to them. The guy pulls out a knife,
(21:48):
his buddy runs away. The guy's coming at me, I'm
coming at him. I was like, I just went crazy,
you know, like New York crazy girl. And when you
cut the street staring at me like he didn't know
what the hell to do.
Speaker 4 (22:04):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
So the one of the attacks, the attackers buddy ran away.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
All right, there's a plot twist. Hey, isn't there?
Speaker 1 (22:11):
Correct me if I'm wrong, But on Ocean Parkway, isn't there?
Isn't there like a median that runs down the middle.
Speaker 10 (22:17):
That's what it is. Yeah, I was walking down the medium.
It's a walking like the bike path.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (22:23):
It was like evening. I needed to get somewhere and
I was trying to get and the guy who was
just like trying to mess around. I was like, no,
you just go crazier than them. What happened in your
nice story?
Speaker 1 (22:32):
Oh no, just two guys came out of the corner
by the Christmas tree stand and wanted to steal my money.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
All right, very good, very good, Thank you, ma'am. Thank you.

The Brothers Ortiz is the story of two brothers–both successful, but in very different ways.
