Speaker 1 (00:00):
Did you see the story of the girl out of California?
Sixteen year old girl? Like track and field, they have
such a stick up their ass.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
The what do you mean in terms of like sticking
to regulation's just no fun.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
They're no fun.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
So there's a there's a sixteen year old girl who
goes to school in Salinas, California.
Speaker 3 (00:19):
I don't remember her name. Her name is Clara Adams
is her name.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
And apparently this chick is a stud, a stud runner,
sixteen years old, and she wins the she wins the
race that she's running. I think it's the four hundred Yeah,
the four hundred meter, this back on Saturday, right, and
she wins the state title. Like she is fast and
(00:44):
I've seen the video. Yeah, she's unbelievable. So anyway, and like, obviously,
I guess if you're running in high school and this
is a state tournament, she knows she's good. It's not
like she came out of nowhere and everybody's like, oh
my damn, So they know she's good. So her dad
brought a prop for her that if she won, that
(01:08):
she would then use in homage to a previous track star.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Carl Lewis No because then she would have just farted.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
Fastest part I've ever heard in my life.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
No, no, And I'll be honest. I wasn't familiar with
Maurice Green. So Maurice Green was an Olympic sprint sprinter
dancing with the Stars. Also don't and also don't know
him from there.
Speaker 5 (01:37):
I think he was paired up with Cheryl Burke. This
is years ago.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Well you really know the history. He got hurt the show?
Oh did he really?
Speaker 6 (01:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:45):
That I would check. He was definitely with Cheryl. Who
is Emmitt with Cheryl?
Speaker 3 (01:51):
With Cheryl? Right, Yeah, he didn't get hurt.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
He's got a great restaurant anyway, a trophy anyway.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
Anyway, christ me a favor, Will you do me a favor?
Speaker 1 (02:02):
Will you find me? Will you find me some track
and field? Track and field still does very well, still
very very big sport. It really only gets its coverage
during Olympic times.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
But it's a massive sport. Your kids run, your kids
are in track.
Speaker 5 (02:16):
We've had three canceled meets this season, so we're hoping
that these rescheduled ones this Friday and next Friday actually
get to go on without problems.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
Although and Tyler said sometimes he doesn't mind the canceled events.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
It's been a.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Little nice on Friday, Diane.
Speaker 5 (02:33):
When you've paid for five or six meets and you've
only had two, that's a problem. And your kids have
not qualified for regionals yet you need meats for their sanity.
I don't care if they make it to regionals. If anything,
it frees up a Saturday if they don't qualify, but
I know they'd like another shot.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
But anyway, anyway, So this girl, this girl Clara, she
ends up winning the four hundred meters. She runs over
and her dad gives her the prop which is the
same thing. She did it in a different way, but
it's the same prop and homage to this Olympics or
this American sprinter.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
It's a fire extinguisher.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
So she wins and she runs over to part of
the field where there's nobody around. I mean there are
people around, but nobody's right on her, you know what
I mean, it's not crowded, and she takes the fire
extinguisher and she sprays her feet.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Like my feet are on fire. It's awesome. It's great again.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
I don't even know the history of the More East Green,
but I'm like, you know what, number one.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Good for her, she's got a set of balls.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
They disqualified her, They disqualified her, so they stripped her
of her state title. Wow, and then they disqualified her
from running later. I think she was all supposed to
run the two hundred or something like that, so she
can't run in those.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
They cuter and stripped. Now.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
Part of me was like, it's by the way, and
and can I be real clear when she gets the
when she gets the fire extinguisher, it's not like she
gets it and she's like.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
Spraying it all around.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
That's no, no, no, no, she's not. She's not like
spraying no, no, she points it down. It's a small
it's it's not like the.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Firing smaller than the ones that you'd see under your sink.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Yeah, that's eyes maybe a little smaller, like a little
container one. And she she she just she takes it
and she just sprays quickly, quickly, mind you.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
She sprays her feet like better put these out. Yeah,
here's the video anyway, it's awesome. It's awesome.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
There's dad handed out there.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
She goes, she runs across. That's her. That's it. That's it.
And look at these stuffies.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
Yeah, it wasn't even like a prolonged.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
That's what I mean. She wasn't like Maurice do it
for ohe.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
On the track, he takes his shoes off and has
somebody else come out from the side and spray him down, right,
which is hysterical, hysterical.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
And even more reel. Maurice has spoken out.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
They reached out to Maurice and he was like, listen,
if there was nobody else around and she wasn't spraying,
somebody reinstate her.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
Come on, now, listen if she did what Maurice.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
Did, Yeah, I still wouldn't I get why people would
be like somewhat going life.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Such a vast difference between those two.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
She sprayed her feet. It's hysterically off the track, yes,
off the track.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
And again I can't say there was nobody around because
some stickler will be like, I'm digna magnum. There's somebody
in that fine yards away. So there's people, but nobody's right.
They're not inhaling the stuff. It's hysterical.
Speaker 5 (05:55):
And the last time we talked about a track controversy,
it was that guy is Brody Buffington. That's right, Yeah,
what he put his arms up during the race, right,
this is not during the race, So this is.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
After the race. The race is done.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
Yeah, could you imagine if she did it during the race,
that's bad and why is she running with a fire asher?
Speaker 3 (06:17):
But we thought it was crazy that for putting his
arms up in the air. Buffington.
Speaker 5 (06:22):
I think he got twice, he got de hued, two
different meats, and he went on to go to Georgia.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
Right, Uh, yes, I think you're right. I think he
went to Georgia.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
But this is after.
Speaker 5 (06:32):
It's everyone's it's it's not even like someone was still
Sometimes when we run track because it's there's no cuts
and everyone's allowed on all the teams. I would say
maybe four of the five runners have finished, and there's
a six runner in certain heats that's still on the track.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
Oh my god. I think I talked to her earlier.
I think she just won one hundred dollars. Come on, Mary,
you're a big girl. But she's done. Claire's done with
her race, and so is everyone everybody.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Clara had to run over get the fire extinguisher from
her dad.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
And still run into the middle of the track. Run Mary.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
But with the Buffington thing, everyone that was there or
knew of the stories said that those judges they get
on this power trip.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
So is that the case here, that it's just the
judges where it is like, Man, I'll tell you what
like like track and Field like, there is no there's
no room for fun none like even listen, I'm a
baseball purist. Even I've come around on the bat flip.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
Right.
Speaker 5 (07:44):
Well, some you say are excessive.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
Some are excessive, but you also know if it's excessive,
you're gonna get beaned.
Speaker 5 (07:52):
Well you've said you'd like to make sure of that too,
made that if we're gonna allow the bath flip, we
can't forget about retribution.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Absolutely absolutely, hey, listen, Like, think of Ov. Remember when
he when he fanned it or warmed his hands on
his hot gold stick. I mean, listen, I thought it
was awesome. A lot of people didn't like it. They thought, oh,
look at the look at the flashy Russian. But that
was Don Cherry, right, Oh, Cherry hated it.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
Hated it.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
Now listen, if somebody would have gone out there and
tried to punch him on the next shift, you'd have
been like, you know that's coming.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
Ov knows that's coming.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
Now, track and Field, I don't expect somebody to come
up and like throw shoot like spikes at her or
anything like. There's no retribution there, but it's funny and
this chick is killing people.
Speaker 5 (08:40):
Have is The governing body issued a statement.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
Yeah, it's unsportsmanlike that's all they said. Yeah, it's it's
unsportsmanlike conduct.
Speaker 5 (08:47):
So they're not reviewing the decision.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
You know what, I don't I did not see that
there was a review. I did not see stripping her
of her state title.
Speaker 3 (08:58):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
The decision to disqualify Clara came moments before she was
slated to run the two hundred. She was also a
favorite to win that. God only knows what she would
have done. Her dad in her dad. I saw her
dad on the news. Her dad was like everybody. Everybody
was into it. The announcers were into it, the runners
were into it, the crowd was into it. But the
(09:21):
the the power the power trip judges weren't into it.
Speaker 5 (09:28):
So over the PA they were heralding the celebration.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
Oh yeah, they were going crazy crazy.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
Now I want someone to pull this.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Yeah, I don't have Friday, I don't have the I
don't have whether there's a review going on. Last I
saw there was it. It was like, that's it, it's done.
But what are they going to do? Reinstated and go, hey,
you're now the state champ again. And she didn't even
get to run the two hundred. Now some people will
argue and go, this could be the best thing that
ever happened to her because now publica, every everybody knows
(10:01):
who she is.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
Although I'm sure, what did I say?
Speaker 1 (10:04):
She's sixteen, She's on a bunch of college's radar already.
Speaker 5 (10:12):
I have confirmed here that Maurice Screen was a contestant
on season seven of Dating Stars.
Speaker 3 (10:18):
What about the injury?
Speaker 5 (10:19):
He was a relevant point of the story. Well, it
was a loose end that I wanted to tie up.
He was paired with Cheryl Burke. He was eliminated in
week eight. He hyper extended his leg during the competition.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
Wow, great memory you have? You know what?
Speaker 1 (10:37):
He was also featured in a video that I watched
where he takes his shoes off and somebody else sprays him.
Speaker 6 (10:43):
No.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
And we interviewed the author of this. The book was
Andy Roddick beat me with a frying pan. Oh the
talking trash?
Speaker 5 (10:52):
No, oh no, this was this was all about just
these could could guys and girls. Could they compete at
levels with other Oh right, meant than the best?
Speaker 3 (11:05):
That was avail right. It was done by like an
es I remember that yeah personality, but in that book
and I did not remember this.
Speaker 5 (11:14):
Green was given a thirty one meter head start and
the books author had the help of a moving sidewalk
for one hundred meter race and Todd Gallagher from ESPN
beat Maurice Green.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
I hope he I hope he I hope he hosed
his shoes off. He had a moving sidewalk. Where am
I going? Line three? Hi, Elliott the morning?
Speaker 6 (11:49):
Hey, Yeah, Hi, who's this?
Speaker 3 (11:51):
Hey?
Speaker 6 (11:52):
What's the hell? Well, I've been listening to you guys
for probably thirty years.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
I appreciate it. Thank you. What can I do for you, sir?
Speaker 6 (12:00):
Yeah, I'm a I'm a I'm a track coach and
I'm the executive director of the White Horse Track Club
where a uh where a nonprofit adult like competitive running
team pumped by New Balance. I heard you guys talking
about track and one to call in.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
So this girl, Clara, I don't know if you know
the story or at what point you tuned in, but
she got disqualified. She won the state title in California,
and she she ended up getting disqualified because afterwards she
pulled the Maurice Green and sprung and uh fire extinguished
her shoes.
Speaker 6 (12:34):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've seen the video. It's it's hilarious.
He's uh, she's a star. I mean, and I was,
you know, I was actually talking to my wife about
this yesterday. We like track and field, like we get
we make no money. Nobody knows anybody for you guys
are talking about like who's Mario's green? He's a former
(12:55):
like world.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
Record order I think, and seven of Dancing with the Start. No, no,
by the way, you're absolutely right. You are absolutely right,
And I don't I don't know how it changes, right,
But the only time and I don't obviously if people
have kids or they grew up, obviously they are more
in tune with track and field than I am. But
(13:18):
I feel like as as as just kind of like
Joe regular guy, the only time that track and field
really comes up is during the Olympics.
Speaker 3 (13:27):
Is really the only time that that you see it.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
And there are some big stars that have got listen,
I'm still talking about Carl Lewis, but there are some
big stars that come who say Bolt at one point,
and even I mean, he's not the most famous person
on the planet, but everybody knew the name. But he
only gets covered during the Olympics. And I don't know,
I don't know how you change that where there's more
(13:50):
like there's more around it, or there's more coverage of it.
But yeah, like and I listen, I feel stupid. I've
never heard of Marreese Green in my whole life.
Speaker 6 (13:59):
Yeah, you know, you know the same Bolt. Of course,
he's an incredible spreadter, one of the best athletes on
the earth, or was in his prime. Well, one reason
you know him is because it's theatric you know, he
he's the show boat. You know, he would finish his
races and he would he would jog around the track
and interact with people and show off and so for
(14:22):
I don't remember what state this this the s girl then,
but for them to come down on her and disqualifiers, like,
you know, just have some fun, like we don't make
any money, nobody knows anything about this sport. Loosen up
a little bit, have fun, like, have a good time.
And he should be celebrating this girl. You should want
more of these types of things and not not less
of it stuff. Why I always had to pick problem
(14:43):
with like tract taking itself too seriously.
Speaker 3 (14:45):
Why why do they do that? Like why why did
they refuse? I mean listen, what could it go too far?
Speaker 1 (14:52):
Yeah, of course I get that, but like, why why
is track so resistant? Like we were also talking about
that the kid from we're talking from, Yeah, I contact
him who he put his arms up to early during
a race because he was blowing everybody away. They're like disqualified,
Like it's it's why won't they Why won't they loosen
up a little bit?
Speaker 6 (15:14):
You know, And it's it's it's a judgment call. It's
not like these things are like if you if you
use a fire hydrant or a fire singers or after
h or dq'. It's all a judgment thing. So it's
people work in the events, the officials be like, ah,
that's too far, and so like it's it's you know,
(15:34):
sportsmanship absolutely is very important in any sport, especially youth,
But there's a difference between celebrating a win and a
victory and being unsportsman like to your to your competitors.
And I don't know, like I think track is the
purest sport people get really worked up about it. It's
a purity thing. So it's you've got an official. They're
(15:55):
working twelve fifteen hour days, they're die hard track sands,
and they see a six year old girl showing off like, no,
she's done. So it's it's you know, it's a shame.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
By the way, when you frame it that way, it
seems like I should love track as much as I'm
a purist for baseball.
Speaker 6 (16:15):
You want to get into stats man, I mean, that's
the that's the beauty, beautiful thing about track is you
look at like track results, you can see like every
four hundred meters split, you can see like their position
in the race all that. So it's really, uh, it's
a fun sport to get into. It really is. The
other thing that you're.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
Talking The other thing that just dawned on me though,
is like if it's baseball, or if it's hockey, or
if it's football, like it's something if if there is
a big moment and something happens, yeah, they could be
a little bit flashy or whatever, but then they run
over and they celebrate with their teammates.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
Right.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
So, oh, the like we were talking about him, like
heating his hands over that hot stick, right, But then
he goes to the bench and everybody's high five of
them and they're punching gloves and everything is a solo sport,
like there is no teammate to run over it. The
in this case, track is a solo sport, like there's
(17:11):
nobody to celebrate with, Like, what are you gonna do?
Run over to the other girl from your high school
who you just kicked her?
Speaker 3 (17:18):
Ask, I'm not celebrating with you, you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (17:21):
So there is nobody to celebrate with, So be a
little bit flashy and celebrate like that's pretty cool to me.
Speaker 6 (17:29):
Yeah, And you know what, what else? You know, these
cow or these high school kids are getting these nil deals,
So I wouldn't be surprised if a brand saw her
and me like, yo, you know this, this girl is
getting a lot of notoriety. She's good. What's let's use it,
Let's give her some money. It's it's it's kind of
(17:49):
wild how much money these kids are making in high
school now being essentially professional athletes.
Speaker 3 (17:56):
Awesome.
Speaker 6 (17:56):
So not only not only has she elevated herself and
she'll probably get into college because of this more or
more like the higher radar, but she'll probably end up
inking some sort of nil deal, even if it's just what, like,
you know, some sort of dumb sports drink or something, right.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
Who money, money's money?
Speaker 6 (18:17):
Yeah, totally all.
Speaker 3 (18:18):
Right, very good, Thank you, coach. I appreciate it.
Speaker 5 (18:21):
Yes, Tyler, where are you on this scenario? This is
from Facebook, Heidi writes, my oldest runs track. At one meet,
one of the relay teams was so far ahead of
their competition that during their last handoff.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
Oh wait, can we guess the ending? Can we guess
the ending? Okay?
Speaker 5 (18:36):
Sure, maybe maybe you've seen I've never seen this, even
with my kids running, I've never seen this handoff before.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
So the relay they hand off to the last person
and the last person ran backwards.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
That's what I was going for. Do you have a
guest ask to what happened? It was during the handoff?
Oh so during the baton hands off?
Speaker 5 (19:01):
Oh okay, what did the team that was blowing out
the other teams do.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
Instead of handing it off? Was like a toss or something?
Speaker 3 (19:11):
Or no? Yeah, that's dangerous because if you drop it,
you're just qual this way, if you drop if you
dropped the baton, you're disqualified. Then I'll take mine.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
I was gonna say he handed it, but the guy
grabbed it with his butt cheeks.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
Well, his name is Anus.
Speaker 5 (19:28):
And this team, I will tell you this also maybe
it will inform your your final guess. This team did
get disqualified for dropping it. No, for what they did.
They didn't drop it, did christ And you have a guess?
Speaker 3 (19:44):
Oh they turn yourself on? Turn yourself on? Did they
throw it? Can you throw it? They didn't throw it?
I don't. I don't know enough about the track. Would
she run track?
Speaker 6 (19:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (19:54):
Okay, yeah, four x two, four by eight?
Speaker 3 (19:58):
Okay, you know who she had to be. She went
to a school with three people. It was her and
a girl named Mary.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
She ran first and fourth.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
What's your guests?
Speaker 7 (20:08):
Since they were slow and the other team was fast,
I'm gonna assume they either tried to flip, like switch
the baton to give them the quote advantage as here
we have the winning go.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
To another one, go to another guest. I don't even
know what you're saying.
Speaker 8 (20:23):
So they would have like switched swapped.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
Out ba swap a baton.
Speaker 8 (20:28):
So they may have like.
Speaker 7 (20:29):
Tried to push them a little forward, like they touched
the other team, which is also you can get d keyed.
Speaker 5 (20:35):
For they acted as if the handoff was a marriage proposal, and.
Speaker 8 (20:51):
Why that's bad sportsmanship.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
That is not bad sportsmanship, Yes it is. You know,
then then run faster.
Speaker 3 (20:58):
Run.
Speaker 8 (20:59):
You come from a small town they don't have.
Speaker 3 (21:04):
I was just looking at photos of Mapleton's.
Speaker 5 (21:06):
The graduation reminded me of the prom pictures.
Speaker 3 (21:12):
Not a lot of Hussein Bolt. I do like your
gowns though, it's the color go turn yourself back on?
Wait for what in.
Speaker 5 (21:20):
High school or high school book gowns like graduation gowns.
Speaker 8 (21:23):
Well, they change them every year. The kids get to pick.
It's stupid. Like back in the.
Speaker 3 (21:28):
Day the girls questions was camo.
Speaker 8 (21:32):
The girls had to wear red, the boys wore blue.
Speaker 7 (21:35):
But when my brother graduated, they got to where whatever
you want blue, red.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
Or white overalls.
Speaker 8 (21:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (21:43):
Did you see what the class song was for twenty
twenty five? Nod to the bow, George.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
Three kids even know George.
Speaker 5 (21:56):
This was the class motto.
Speaker 3 (21:58):
Life moves pretty fast if you don't stop and look
around once in a while. You could miss it.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
From Ferris Bueller. They have like nothing modern to watch.
Speaker 5 (22:10):
Christon has always said that you you you had to
rely a lot on vhs. Are those that's a that's
a rush? Who that's a dangerous cropping?
Speaker 3 (22:26):
Oh yeah it is?
Speaker 8 (22:30):
And they got they headed out on the field. Normally
it's too hot.
Speaker 2 (22:34):
How many kids in this year's class?
Speaker 8 (22:36):
Tyler does it?
Speaker 6 (22:37):
Say?
Speaker 3 (22:38):
By the way the place?
Speaker 8 (22:44):
Can you blow it up? I didn't see it.
Speaker 5 (22:47):
You can't read that she graduated with distinction. It's just
the chords are covering the suma right. Oh dear, hey,
kids picked it. I don't see a totally.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
Scroll up. You didn't miss a black guy.
Speaker 8 (23:08):
Or Latino?
Speaker 3 (23:16):
Was it was moving to Florida? Shocking?
Speaker 8 (23:19):
You kidding me? Oh my god.
Speaker 7 (23:25):
I got yelled at because I thought everybody was one
nationality and they're like, no, no, no, no.
Speaker 8 (23:30):
You safe, play it safe and say Latino.
Speaker 5 (23:34):
I said, okay, the class flower was the white con.
Speaker 3 (23:44):
I was gonna say it was white.
Speaker 5 (23:50):
But back to the proposal, Oh yes, for for track.
So the difference with that is it's happening the race
and not at the fin sign. Brody put his hands
up near the finish line. This is at the handoff,
the final handoff in a relay. You're still okay with that?
Speaker 3 (24:05):
Doesn't bother me. No, I'll tell you. I'll tell you what.
You run the risk, right, you run the risk.
Speaker 8 (24:11):
The relay is a whole team. I would not just
one person.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
And you run that risk. You absolutely run that risk.
Speaker 8 (24:19):
We just don't do it.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
The well, well, no, Doug Christin, if you don't do it,
then it's never a story. Right, well, if this girl
never sprays her feet, it's never a story.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
This to me.
Speaker 5 (24:29):
When it's the team in the handoff, that's so much different.
Speaker 1 (24:32):
Right, I will, I will say this the old Now, now,
this is the part of this is the part of track,
and maybe there is something in track where you could
do something is if.
Speaker 3 (24:43):
They want to do that, do it? You know what
I mean?
Speaker 1 (24:45):
Like it doesn't bother me. I don't know what is
the track and field retribution? For example, you want to
flip a bat in baseball, you run the risk of
getting pinged. You want to do you want to you
want to take a slapshot into an empty net, and
hockey you're gonna get You're gonna get your face punched in.
(25:08):
Is there any kind of retribution that exists in track
other than beat you in the next race?
Speaker 3 (25:13):
No disqualifying right.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
No, but I meant from a competitor, from a competitor,
Is there is there any kind of way of retribution?
Speaker 3 (25:23):
Not that I'm familiar with.
Speaker 1 (25:24):
And that's why, and that's why I still stand on
the pillar of fighting is great in hockey.
Speaker 5 (25:29):
No, it keeps you from doing stuff like that or
you know you're going to pay from KTI track and field.
If everyone knows track and field officials always finished fourth
in high school, you go and they still have that
chip on their shoulder.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
He says, yes, hid the morning, Hi, good morning. Hey,
who's this my nary? Yes?
Speaker 9 (25:54):
What can I do?
Speaker 1 (25:55):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (25:55):
Yes, what can I do for you?
Speaker 6 (25:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (25:57):
I was just calling because I ran track all through
high school and.
Speaker 9 (26:02):
It's I was just gonna say basically what the coach said.
Speaker 3 (26:05):
It's very.
Speaker 9 (26:07):
Stickler for the rules. And you know, I'm sportsman like.
Speaker 6 (26:12):
Conduct is not is not going to fly by. You're
gonna get disqualified.
Speaker 3 (26:16):
He's not going to let it.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
Is there any Is there any retribution? Like, for example,
I'm trying to think in in in tennis, I'm trying
to think of solo sports. Right in tennis, if you
do something, your opponent can slam a ball at you
and hit you pretty hard and that happens.
Speaker 9 (26:34):
I mean, someone someone could trip you, but then you're
both going to get disqualified. So you're gonna, you know,
because they're not gonna be able to finish the race,
and then the person that tripped them is going to
get dec'ed for taking the action.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
Okay, So, by the way, you said, this team was
so far ahead that they had time to do a
marriage proposal with a baton. If I see them again
and I know I'm gonna lose, there's your answer. I'd
stick my foot right out and trip one of them qualifying.
I'm just gonna lose anyway. Who cares?
Speaker 3 (27:03):
So there you go. I guess no, not me yourself, No,
I would.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
I would definitely do it, because yeah, nobody, nobody wants
to be made thank you, ma'am. Nobody wants to be
made to look like a jackass like that.
Speaker 5 (27:17):
I remember there was that Virginia runner who hit the
other girl with the briton.
Speaker 3 (27:21):
Okay, that's that.
Speaker 4 (27:23):
That well that I guess if you're going to do
that for retributions, so weird.
Speaker 3 (27:35):
You know, as I look out at the class of
twenty twenty five on the day, I would falling song
got the bound Nick East.
Speaker 10 (27:53):
In the wide windows at the door of the found
Congratulations in the pull Wood class of.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
Twenty What is it?
Speaker 6 (28:03):
Mapel?
Speaker 5 (28:03):
What Mapleton class of twenty twenty five?
Speaker 3 (28:07):
Come on, you know.
Speaker 5 (28:07):
That ship got assaulted outside Columbia High School in Maplewood,
New Jersey.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
That's right, Mapleton Fire.
Speaker 10 (28:18):
Fire, bad of the bowl.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
A thousand arts this ball I made you. I'll break
a thousand more.
Speaker 10 (28:27):
Baby before I am through. I want to be up
a baby, your your level. I'm gone that I'm bad
of the bowl, Bad of the bowl, Fire of fire, fire,
(28:51):
bad of the ball.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
You know, life moves pretty fast.
Speaker 1 (28:59):
If you know, stop and look around once in a
while you can miss it. And for those of you
venturing to Florida as gratulation, whoa
Speaker 5 (29:18):
Woman steal
