Speaker 1 (00:00):
My buddy milkman, he's going on a cruise. He leaves tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Oh, this is the time.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
This is yeah, No, he's going through life changes. The
the well, it is true. The so he's going by himself.
He's going on a cruise tomorrow. So like a couple
of things came up about the about I think he's
on a Norwegian Cruise Line or whatever of Florida or no,
it leaves out a It actually leaves out of New York.

(00:26):
So he'll go from Philly to New York, get on
the boat, and then I don't know where everything goes.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Now.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
The other thing about my buddy Sam, he's very very cheap,
very very cheap. So he has not paid for the
Wi Fi package the no, and he's very concerned about it.
So he's hoping that between yesterday and today something comes
up at work where they're like, we're gonna need to
get in touch with you so he can expense it.
So I was like, well, Sam, just tell him, Oh,

(00:52):
I had to check a couple of emails, so I
had to get the package. But he's very he's very
cheap about that, so but he's also very concerned, like
I guess he's never been. He's never been on a cruise.
The other thing that he's struggling with is weather or not.
Although he did get fifty percent off on a bathing
suit yesterday for the.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
Cruise, he's still buying clothes for his trip. Yeah, it
seems a little last minute.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
The well, he went into the store, but they had
them all boxed up because it's the end of the season.
And but Sam said, I looked online and it said
you have it. Guy working at the store had to
go dig through boxes of return stuff like back to
corporate God for thirty five minutes, got Sam to bathing suit.
Sam got the bathing suit and for his patients fifty

(01:38):
percent off. Sam's like, it was the greatest bathing suit
patches I've ever made, ever made. Here's what here? Here
was the other thing I was talking to Sam. Sam
does like to gamble our casinos on a cruise ship
open twenty four.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
To seven, I assume. So I don't know, because I know.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
He's gonna gamble. I know he's gonna get Christian. Will
you do me a favor? Will you find me a
couple of people that have been on a cruise. I
don't care how recently. I mean this summer, the last summer,
like within the last couple of years, would be great.
I don't know how much things change from year to
year or over the years, but will you find me
somebody and it doesn't have to be Norwegian, it's fine,
but somebody who's been on a cruise please in the

(02:16):
last year or so. Eight six six to Elliot eight
six six two three five five four six eight. I
assume that the casinos are twenty four seven three sixty five.
It's Vegas.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Why does he not get that impression?

Speaker 1 (02:32):
No, he doesn't. Well, I'll and I'll tell you the
other thing he's struggling with. So he got the bathing
suit right while I'm waiting for my cruise people, did
I give the number? Sorry? Eight six six to Elliot
eight six six two three five five four six eight.
The other thing that he wants to know is whether
he should upgrade to the the It's either called the
Vibes package or the good Vibes Package. Either way, I

(02:54):
love it. What does that mean? So apparently when they
told him, because it was like when he made the
when he booked the reservation, which listen, I told you,
Sam's very cheap. You could not find a more internal
room to stay in.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Oh no way, no nothing.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Sam will never see the ocean, right, Sam will never
see any No, no, no, But anyway, So when they
were asking him, like who are who are you coming with,
he was like, no, no, I'm coming, I'm coming by myself.
I'm coming. I'm coming alone. So they said, oh, okay,
you're obviously they know Sam's an adult. And so they
said do you want thee And again it's either the
Vibes Package or the Good Vibes Package, which is like

(03:37):
it's an upgrade, like everything is an upgrade, but I
guess it gets you better, like pool in hot tubs.
I'm seeing the Vibe Beach Club. Oh maybe that's what
it is. He just kept calling it the Vibe Club,
but yeah, the Vibe Beach Club access to Yeah what
is that? So?

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Adults only area? Right, dedicated bar and staff, dedicated hot tubs,
private for those that have paid for it.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
M mmmm hmm.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
Sam, if I could quote, I don't give an f
I don't see it disconnected to a casino though.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Oh yeah no, those those may be different. Those may
be those may be different.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
But a search shows me not every casino has or
every cruise has the casino open twenty four hours.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
So I don't know which ship he's on. Norwegian. Oh,
I don't know the navy. You know how many of those?
I just looked how many of their boats? New York?
A lot? Where am I going? Kristin line five? And
then I'll tell you the other thing he's pissed about. Hi,
Elliott the morning. Hey, hey, you're you've been on a

(04:47):
cruise before?

Speaker 5 (04:49):
Just one of my very first cruise, just got back
last week?

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Oh good, where'd you? Where'd you go? Out of curiosity?

Speaker 5 (04:57):
We did Saint Martin, Saint Thomas, and COCOAKA.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Oh beautiful, beautiful, good for you? Uh? Did you enjoy
the cruise?

Speaker 5 (05:05):
Not gonna lie, was a blast, had a great time.
Well fright, little pricing, Not gonna lie it was, but
it was all in all is a great time. Me
and White's first cruise to our son with us. Uh,
his first cruise. We all had a great time.

Speaker 6 (05:19):
Good.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Hey, can I ask you this? Was there a casino?
Was there a casino on your ship?

Speaker 3 (05:25):
On deck?

Speaker 5 (05:26):
Flour day four?

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Deake four?

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Thank you?

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Does it close?

Speaker 5 (05:31):
It does? It's uh, it doesn't open up until you
get nine nautical miles out.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Yeah, right, you gotta be over international waters. That I understand.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
Yeah, yeah, it's uh. That was my big question going
into this. Is it opened twenty four hours? No, it's
nine knautical miles out. Once you're out and you know there,
then everything opens up and thing normally set times. They'll
tell you, hey, the casino's going to open at stay
four thirty today, you know, and it could give or take.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Wait for thirty pm. It's not even open during the day.

Speaker 5 (06:05):
And less unless you're in international waters. If you're in
international waters, you know they'll they've got their times. But no,
it's it's pretty much going all the time as long
as you're out in international waters.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Oh okay, okay, Because Sam was under the impression and
I get the international waters thing, but Sam was under
the impression that like there's like it's not just it's
always open, like it's like sometimes it closes. But maybe
that is just the international waters thing. Port days, Oh yeah,
what about where you're at, Well, what if you're a port.

Speaker 5 (06:35):
Yeah, yeah, when you're a port, it's closed.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Now, I will say, if you remember, Sam's very cheap, right,
Sam's not planning to like spend a lot of time
like excursions. Now, no, Sam's planned to use that time
pay on the damn ship. You should take advantage of
the ship. So the casinos closed, are the restaurants closed
during excursion time?

Speaker 5 (07:01):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Okay, all right, very good, very good? All right, my friend,
I appreciate it, Thank you, sir. Yes, Tyler.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
So one of the things that came up when I
was searching of a casinos was an article from I guess,
a self described early riser that says, the cruise ships
are so dead in the morning and you're bored to tears.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Sam is an early riser. I can tell you that.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
Now.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
I don't know if he'll sleep in a little later,
but Sam's up early.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
The quote is there is literally nothing to eat or do.
What Now this person does rise in the five o'clock hour,
So they are up and at them Okay, but I'm
sure they're not like they're getting up at seven.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Yeah, I mean they're getting Oh no, but I'm sure
there are people on a cruise that wake up at
five five thirty. What time does he usually? Sam?

Speaker 3 (07:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Well, since the life change, I mean it could be
it could be anytime. I mean five thirty six, I
guarantee you he's up now.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
I said they couldn't even to get breakfast till six thirty.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
My ass, my ass? What do you mean you can't?
I thought the restaurants were twenty four to seven.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
Does not seem so?

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Maybe not wait on.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
A cruise ship. If I'm up at six, I can't eat. Oh.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
Someone responded to the article, saying, you have to bring
ziploc bags to the buffets to take cookies and pastries
back to the stateroom.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
That's genius that he's got. Yes, Yes, the wait so
I can get like chocolate croissants or like ham and
cheese croissants the day before, and I bring those back
to the room. That's the advice here.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
Ooh, so do you just have to rely on room
service twenty four hours a day?

Speaker 1 (08:42):
There's no room service on a cruise ship. There isn't
no Why would there be room You know how many
rooms there are. There's seven thousand people.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
Isn't there like fifteen hundred crew members.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
There's no way that there's room service on a cruise ship.
It's not a hotel. I mean, it's a floating hotel,
but that's more than a hotel. Many rooms are in
a hotel a couple hundred, It depends.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
You can't just say that with a blanket statement, even
if they're even if you were at a big hotel,
if there let's say there's three hundred, four hundred rooms,
there's thousands of rooms on a cruise ship.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
If everybody decided they were getting room service that day,
you would never eat. There's no way there's room service
on a cruise ship, says this.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
One cruiser says, I like that time of morning, the
best you have, the place to yourself.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
I do bet if you if you're up at like
six o'clock on a cruise ship, it's probably pretty empty, right,
it's probably or is everybody racing down to throw a
towel on the I got a goddamn hotel. Where am
I going? Line five? Hi? Elliot in the morning? Hello, Hey,

(09:49):
who's this?

Speaker 3 (09:51):
Ben Way?

Speaker 1 (09:52):
What's going on?

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Dude? What's up?

Speaker 7 (09:55):
Hey? So I go on one like every year I've
been on seven, And actually I went on a similar cru.

Speaker 8 (10:00):
The caller the previous caller.

Speaker 7 (10:02):
So people's right, and they don't open until about four
thirty because you've got to go out.

Speaker 8 (10:07):
But I mean, if you're at.

Speaker 7 (10:08):
Seed for two days and you don't get to your
next quarter call until so you go out on Saturday,
you don't get to your next quorter call until Tuesday
morning at six. They're gonna be open for Tuesday, or
you know, Saturday at full thirty until Tuesday at six,
and you can go down there and gave all you want.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
So anytime, anytime you're in the international waters, the casino
is open.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
Correct, when you're in a port of.

Speaker 7 (10:31):
Calog is gonna fall under a local local lulls or whatever.

Speaker 8 (10:35):
And then they got close to that.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
I got you, I got you. Hey, if you do?
You ever get up? Did you ever get up early
on the cruise ship?

Speaker 3 (10:42):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (10:42):
Absolutely? I never get up early any other day of
the week.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
I'm actually heading the.

Speaker 7 (10:46):
Rally right now, but I never get up early. But
I'm up every day at six o'clock when I'm on
a cruise I don't know what.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
And is there nothing to eat at six o'clock in
the morning.

Speaker 7 (10:55):
I mean you can go up to I mean there's
something neat, but you have typinitely like the buffet of
it up until like six thirty or seven.

Speaker 6 (11:03):
I don't exactly, but how can.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
That be standing up your foot.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
No, I mean, sir, thank you, sir, thank you. How
did they open the buffet at six thirty seven o'clock
in the morning.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
It does seem like that ecosystem should be twenty four hours.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
Yes, yeah, absolutely, and again like I get it if
you're if you're an adult, like you sleep in, you
deal with it. But like what about families, like don't
like families bring.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
Kids kitts up early?

Speaker 1 (11:30):
So that's why I need all of those ziplocks. Uh.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
Everyone is saying there is room service.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
There is no way there's room service on a cruise ship. Now,
there no wrong all.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Of these yeah, and none of us who've been on
the cruise.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
Then, specifically for Carnival, someone said that their table games
do shut down around two or three am.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
No matter that lots may be open. Oh but the
table games, table games shut.

Speaker 4 (12:00):
That was specifically the Carnival. I can't speak to Norwegian,
which is what you said. Sam's ncl using, Yes, Norwegian.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
That just sounds fancy his roommate. I'll tell you that.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Is he nervous or is he just excited?

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Bear with me, Bear with me? Line six? Is he nervous? Yeah,
a little bit. I mean for for a number of reasons.
He's traveling by yourself the well, I mean he travels
for work all the time.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
This is different.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
No, this is completely different. Yeah, he's completely different. So yeah, No,
I mean is he he's anxious about it. He's never
been on a cruise. He's excited about it. He's never
been on a cruise. He's worried because he's cheap as hell,
and he feels like everything's going to be expensive. I mean,
he doesn't have the Wi Fi package.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
I hate when they nickel and dimei on stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
Dian that's the name of the game. I hate that.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
God.

Speaker 4 (12:58):
People are angry at Elliott for saying there's no room service.
See why they're screaming at you in all cap.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
Why would you have room listen but so well, I
guess if restaurants aren't open, you know, why would you
eat in your room? But you would have.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
Room service because that's where the cruise ships are making
so much money. Like, for instance, who said they're wasting
a DM but room service saved us on a cruise ship. Well,
it also probably saved the bottom line for that cruise ship,
because why.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
Did it mar save them? Why did it save them because,
as we're learning, there's not food available. So at six
o'clock they were like, well, I'm gonna eat my arm
unless I can get a.

Speaker 4 (13:34):
Keishe Yes, every people got every cruise line seven room service.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
So wait a minute, what time do the restaurants close?
Like they gotta have pizza stands and stuff that are open.
Do you know what the biggest part, now that I've
learned this, if I ever go on a cruise, do
you know what the heaviest.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
Part of my suit case will be croissants?

Speaker 1 (13:56):
No ziplock bats? Okay, ziplock baths. I'll put I'll put
desser in there. Hell, I'll take I'll take prime rib
back to the room. It's letdy, What if I wake
up at three in the morning for a midnight crap,
I'm gonna want to eat.

Speaker 4 (14:09):
Main dining rooms and casual spots usually it close between
ten and midnight.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
No way ten. I wouldn't even be going to.

Speaker 4 (14:16):
Dinner until ten because if there's a pizza place's carnival cruise,
the pizza pirate closes at two, but from two to five,
and then that five to six thirty, there's really nothing
and you have to use rooms.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Oh my god. So if I'm out, If I'm out,
I have a couple of cocktails. Right, I'm at the bar.
It's two o'clock in the morning, two thirty in the morning. Yeah,
I've been drinking. I've been smoking. Im I'm at sea
and I'm hungry. There's nothing. There's something hi, Ellie in

(14:55):
the morning.

Speaker 6 (14:58):
What's going on?

Speaker 3 (14:58):
Elliott? Hey?

Speaker 7 (15:00):
Cruise?

Speaker 9 (15:02):
Hey, So I tell you what. I went to a cruise. Antily,
it was the best way to see the country. I've
never been there, so I definitely recommend going on a cruise.
But also, like they got everything you need. You don't
have to pay for the WiFi or you don't have
to pay for the food, and it's because you're in
the port all the time, so you can just use
your cell service.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
Oh yeah, but those are roaming charges and again.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
Oh god, damn, roaming, very very very cheap.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
I can tell you he's and I can tell you
he didn't pay for the week long international plan for
his UH for his phone. That's why I told him, Jesus, Sam,
just get the Internet. Like what if one day you're
just sitting around and you just want to scroll or something.
He's like no, no, no.

Speaker 9 (15:47):
The nast thing is they give you They give you
the free messaging because of the safety precaution. It used
to be messaging through the cruise app, but now you
get to use your text messaging, so you still get
to communicate with people.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
There's no worry there.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
Sam also wants me to if something big happens, I
need to ship to shore him because he's afraid that
he won't be able to get the news update. All right, dude,
I appreciate it. Thank you, my friend, thank you. Yes.
By the way, that would be such a home run.
Uh what does it mean?

Speaker 4 (16:20):
So so many of the restaurants on Norwegian have cover charges?
What is that something you pay if you didn't get
a certain dining package, like at a bar. Like the
Mediterranean restaurant has a cover charge, The seafood place has
a cover charge. The French labistro has a cover charge.

(16:41):
The Italian restaurant has a cover charge. The Japanese restaurant
has a cover charge. The steakhouse has a cover charge.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Wait, so you got to pay just to go into
the restaurant.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
Or can you pay ahead of time with the selections.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
You've made for your God damn they really do find
a way to get a hand in your pocket.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
Yeah, that's the thing about cruises. Everyone says it's a
great deal.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
It's not. I could want a four pm sushi snack,
but I didn't pay for the sushi restaurant, so I
got to drop thirty bucks.

Speaker 4 (17:12):
What's the cover now there are two asterisks next to it.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
Oh, the ra bar has a cover charge. Oh my god,
I'm oysters.

Speaker 4 (17:24):
With sabby, which is another Japanese has a cover charge?
How much the silver screen bistro? Oh it's showtime? Oh
joy box office hits while you bite into the delectable?

Speaker 1 (17:39):
Is that a dinner theater? Well, it's a screen Oh
oh oh. I thought it was like like like, I'm
going to Toby's.

Speaker 4 (17:47):
Between forty and sixty dollars per restaurant. My anus, he's
gonna spend so much money, Christian, will you do me
a favor?

Speaker 2 (17:56):
Or he just won't eat?

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Why can't I remember Sam's phone number? Will you do
me a favor? Can you Where am I going? But
could you grab my phone? Why can't I remember Sam's
phone number?

Speaker 3 (18:05):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (18:05):
Oh, Elliott, Yeah, I know that's bad. That's bad. Hi
Ellie in the morning. Oh, I got it.

Speaker 6 (18:11):
Hey, yes, sure, so I've done Norwegian and there's definitely
a twenty four hour restaurant. It's right in the heart
of the ship, right in the middle, most likely out
of New York.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
If he's on Encore.

Speaker 6 (18:26):
It's called Ocean's Oo and it's just like a pub
type restaurant and they have food at any hour of
the day.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
Does Sam like to throw darts the Hey? Did you
know that there's a cover charge to go into restaurants?

Speaker 3 (18:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (18:50):
What it is, And a lot of times what they
do is they'll including your trip basically an upgrade to
get to a those restaurants as part of an upgrade package. Right,
and then that would that eliminates that cover charge because
you've already paid for it upfront and it's done and

(19:12):
out of the way.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Yeah, but I want to go get some sushi at
with Sabby and that that's not part of my package.

Speaker 6 (19:19):
Yeah, go ahead and pay the extra money.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Yeah, but that but that's what I want. Hey, thank you, sir,
thank you. Hold on nine to one, right, watch today
will be the day that he sleeps in. Tell him

(19:42):
about this, Sam, please, damn I get Oh, okay, I
can that's not Sammy. The I can tell you if
the if Sam knows anything, he knows of the ziploc.
Is this a cruise line where you decorate your door
the he will not be doing that? Or is this
is to like a high end It's Norwegian Cruise Lines,

(20:05):
which again is sounds different than Carnival. No, Norwegian, don't
they decorate doors?

Speaker 4 (20:10):
Even Royal Caribbean, we learn has the belly flop contest.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
Oh could you imagine Sammy wins the belly flop contest?
Hi Elliott in the morning, Hey, yeah, Hi, who's this?

Speaker 10 (20:26):
Hey Liza Jessica Calm from mis Lothian. Let me tell
you guys have got to.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
Stay off of these bougie cruise ships.

Speaker 10 (20:33):
I just got off of Margaritaville out of Tampa extra
for anything, well except.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
For great yeah, nor the STV you got there? So wait,
how was the Margaritaville cruise was it? Was it crazy?

Speaker 10 (20:52):
No, it was amazing. I went with my friend's families
most kind of like the odd man out and I
spent your time in my room because it's only about
like thirteen hundred people, so you just keep seeing the
same people over and over again, you know, it was
like you just start up conversations. You're like, oh, let's
do this. It was fantastic.

Speaker 6 (21:12):
People were so for my husband.

Speaker 10 (21:14):
That's small retire for the military.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
Oh you know what, good for you, Good for you,
that's awesome. All right, very good, Thank you all. Going
to the line for Kristin hi Elliot in the morning.

Speaker 8 (21:25):
Good morning class.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
How's it going.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
I am doing great? Thank you. How are you?

Speaker 8 (21:29):
I'm doing well. It's Alex the piss guys.

Speaker 6 (21:31):
I should talk to you guys against credit.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
Yes, what can I do for you, sir?

Speaker 8 (21:40):
Well, after I worked the ocation for a little while,
I worked as a cruise travel agent. I sold for
pretty much all the major cruise lines. I think at
our agency we dealt with like twenty four twenty five
different cruise lines just for like the oceans, and it's
super super variable by cruise line. So like we went
to Alaska on a small cruise like wind Star back

(22:00):
in like twenty nineteen, and like we could have gotten
anything anytime that we wanted for free, and there was
no charge for room service either. Like, remember my wife
and I got kind of sick. We went to dinner.
By the time that our food arrived we were both like, hey,
we can't be here, and he was like, okay, what
time do you want your food to your cabin? I said,

(22:22):
I don't know, like ten thirty. He's like, all right,
ten thirty ran on the doorbell rings and it's there
for us, reheated and everything.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
Okay, but you're on a bogie. You're on a bougie
wind that's boogie.

Speaker 8 (22:35):
It just depends on the cruise line, but most most
of them will have at least some sort of options.
But you know, if you're on one of those monster
ships that's the size of you know, yeah, you know,
half of Manhattan, then you're gonna have to make you
might have to walk for a little bit to buy
my actual food.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
Hey, let me ask you this though, the so's he's
going on a Norwegian one. Did you know it's out
fifty bucks to get into a rest just to get
into a restaurant if it's not on your food package.

Speaker 8 (23:00):
Yeah, well so Norwegian their ships are big enough that
they have usually like five or six different restaurants that
are free just to get in. That's how they get
you on their free at sea promo, which includes either
like you pay a very small like seven dollars fee
as part of your booking, and then you get like

(23:20):
two free entries into those restaurants, but you have more
than just like the main dining room included for free.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
Did you know that they? Did you know that the
restaurants are twenty four to seven?

Speaker 8 (23:35):
Yeah that I did know that. I didn't know, but
you pretty much any cruise line in the world has
like those specialty restaurants that are cover charges.

Speaker 3 (23:42):
But yeah, hey, do you tell.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
Do you tell your clients to bring plenty of ziploc
bags in case you need an early morning snack before
the restaurants open.

Speaker 8 (23:54):
Never had that issue with my clients, and I've been
out of the business after a couple of years.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
But that's a great hack. That is such a great hack.
All right, very good, very good, Thank you, my friend.

Speaker 4 (24:04):
Thank you also for organizing clothes and keeping electronics dry.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
I'm in this cruise ship.

Speaker 4 (24:11):
They should be dry around maybe the pool, oh the
pool area?

Speaker 1 (24:14):
All right, hold on, let me try him again. Oh
my god, please please.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
So I'm reading more about the vibe.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
Oh, yes, that's how this whole thing started. Yeah, for
the upgrade for adults only swim. So it looks like
he does get a premium chair? How much is he did?
He didn't do that. No, he said, go after yourself.
I ain't paying for that. How much? How much is that?
If it's fifty bucks to get into a restaurant, that's
got to be one thousand dollars.

Speaker 4 (24:59):
Well you I know how they do this.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Okay? Can I send Oh? We can send him the
package as a gift?

Speaker 3 (25:06):
Is it?

Speaker 4 (25:06):
One guy looks a lot like my stepdad? Here?

Speaker 1 (25:09):
Is it free for me? It's weird? He's all thinking,
is it free to send it as a gift.

Speaker 4 (25:18):
I'm gonna see here. Let's say, so send his gift. Ah,
there's no price until you look up. Yeah, I didn't
know his reservation number.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
I don't know his reservation number sixty nine? So is
that something you can do?

Speaker 4 (25:30):
And not specifically to this, I know we're reading you can,
but can you give some money and service?

Speaker 3 (25:38):
Why?

Speaker 1 (25:38):
I'm gonna have to send him ship to shore notices?
But no, but you know what, you know where that
makes sense? I'll tell you where that makes sense. If
a couple was going on a cruise for their honeymoon, right,
so you just laid out all that expense for the
wedding for the cruise that people would be able to
pitch in and go, oh, let's get the couple the
Good Vibes club, or let's get the couple all the

(26:00):
restaurants or the drink package or the Wi Fi package.
That makes sense.

Speaker 4 (26:05):
And apparently you don't say Norwegian Cruise Line.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
You say n c L. Well that's your website. I
think NCL dot com. Can we go on a cruise?
God damn it, we gotta go on a cruise. This
segment sold you on. It's helped me.

Speaker 4 (26:29):
People say that the Vibe package is very much worth
it because of how crowded the other pool decks get.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
I bet it is asked to elbow pack.

Speaker 4 (26:40):
Oh and much easier to make friends.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
Oh really yeah, because it's all adults. And I mean
Sam is looking to meet people? Is that sandy? So
he might not meet people for sex?

Speaker 2 (26:55):
Maybe have somebody to like palle around with or eat
dinner with?

Speaker 1 (26:58):
Was anyone thinking sex? One of his buddies who sent
him condoms for the trip he was fourteen? It made
me laugh?

Speaker 4 (27:16):
So should we during the commercial break try to figure
out what his travel info is?

Speaker 1 (27:21):
No, I will gift him this, Hey, Sam, I need
your reservation number.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
Why, no reason, I was just curious.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
So here we go.

Speaker 4 (27:29):
Prices very depending on the cruise this length. Oh, there's
tears to the vibes package.

Speaker 1 (27:36):
Oh my god? Oh wait, do you want to put
just your legs in the hot tub? What do you
want to get in the hot tub?

Speaker 2 (27:43):
All right, but your half.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
Of a pin.

Speaker 4 (27:47):
It starts at for a seven day journey. It starts
at two twenty.

Speaker 1 (27:52):
Nine, right, and I know he is doing seven days.
Starts start Yeah, starts at that means you get a towel, right,
what if you want to sit down? Oh, complimentary sit dress,
water taps free, You got a water fountain.

Speaker 8 (28:10):
This is the em WI.

Speaker 3 (28:12):
Do you network.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
Sam Milkman?

Speaker 3 (28:19):
Yes, sir, Yes, sir.

Speaker 1 (28:20):
Hey, how are you?

Speaker 3 (28:22):
I'm doing all right?

Speaker 1 (28:23):
Hey a couple of things. Pardon me? Yes, number one.
I was talking about you going on your cruise.

Speaker 3 (28:30):
Yes, yes, morning.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
The wait, what do we learned? We do want him
to get the Good Vibes Club or we don't want
him to get we do? We want you to get
the Good Vibes Club.

Speaker 3 (28:41):
Oh that's expensive. That was like two nine dollars for
what I mean?

Speaker 1 (28:48):
Huh no, no, I thought it start. Oh it started
at like one hundred and nine. No, no, no, it was
in the two hundreds. Oh it was, Oh okay, so yeah.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
I won't be so crowded. Don't you get a special chair?

Speaker 3 (28:58):
So what I mean? Everything I get on that, everything
I get there, I get elsewhere. Just I mean it's
a pool, it's a hot tub, and it's a view
of the water. I get all that everywhere else.

Speaker 1 (29:11):
But well, yeah, but there's there's going to be more
people around. Wait, hold on, yes, tyle adults only. Oh
it's adults only.

Speaker 3 (29:17):
Sam, oh and I don't like kids, so maybe a lot.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Also with the oh you know, oh we did get
a good hack though, we did get Ay, what is
your dining package?

Speaker 3 (29:36):
I get one upgraded meal.

Speaker 4 (29:39):
And the rest are the cover charge, So you have
to pay the cover charge to get into the other
everything else is include.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
I mean, I'm going to the uh complimentary dining rooms
after that. So like, by the way, I'm accepted. I'm
accepting sponsors. By the way, do you have any good
sponsors there? No?

Speaker 1 (29:56):
No, but the so you you got one meal, everything
else you'll just go to like the main dining room.

Speaker 3 (30:01):
Yeah, yeah, like yeah, and it's it's not like the
old days where like you sit at a formal table
or anything. There's like uh, and it's not just buffets either.
There's some cool places where you can go and see
like a little screen in front of you and order
cool little things.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
Okay, but like we were reading, like some of the
restaurants that are on there, like a place is called
like a place called was Sabby. If you wanted to
go to with Sabi, you got to pay a cover charge.
Cover charge is like fifty bucks just to get in.

Speaker 3 (30:29):
Right, right, So I get one free with my package,
and I was gonna be a to the State shop.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
But the rest of the time you have to eat
at the same place.

Speaker 3 (30:38):
Well, I'm not the same place. There's like there's like
like all kinds of different restaurants that are all complimentary.
I'll send you a list. Hey.

Speaker 1 (30:46):
Also, did you know did you know that you can
get room service on a cruise ship?

Speaker 3 (30:51):
Yeah, but they're yes. I did not know that, but
I did read that this time. And but there's a fee.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
Right, are you going to get room service? No?

Speaker 3 (31:00):
No, I'm on a budget. Josh sponsored the Internet package
for me, by the way, and I'm accepting meals.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
You could get them. Yeah, we did online online. We
did see that. We did see that you can like
give somebody one of the packages and stuff like that,
which seemed a little bit weird, but it does make sense. Wait,
so did Josh get.

Speaker 3 (31:24):
You the number for that? Please?

Speaker 1 (31:28):
But now you said, did Josh get you? Not Josh
from down the hall? But did did I know who
you're talking about? Josh? He got you the internet package?

Speaker 4 (31:37):
He did.

Speaker 3 (31:38):
He did because he's one of the daily updates. And I said,
with my package, I only get one hundred and fifty
minutes of internet, and so he said, I'm paying for
the rest of it, so like I need daily updates
that what's going on?

Speaker 1 (31:51):
Yes, yes, that's awesome. Here's the best. Here's the best
hack we heard though, Sammy, Yes, at home, at the house,
do you have any ziplock bags? Yes, bring a bunch. Okay,
So if you get up before they open the Continental breakfast,
there's nowhere to eat. So if you woke up at

(32:13):
six and breakfast doesn't start till seven seven point thirty,
there's nothing to eat. So what you do is you
bring a ziplock to dinner and you get like pastries
or bread or like croissants from the day before, put
them into ziplock, yet no listeners did it all the time?
Take that back to the room.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
This is how my dad broke up with one of
his girlfriends because on the crew she was bringing plate
She was not same to begin with, but she was
bringing plates of food back to the room after the buffet,
and my dad said something to me, because you know,
my dad was always honest, he said, haven't you had enough?

(32:53):
And that didn't go over well.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
And then also, did you want to give a shout
out to the people at LLBean?

Speaker 3 (33:02):
Oh that was great. Yeah, my dating threw was half
priced because they were gonna send it back and the
guys because it's the end of the season. But I
went over there last night and the guy went in
the back. He dove into a box and he pulled
out my bathing suit, which I told him was there
because I saw it online and it was half priced.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
Beautiful, thank you beautiful? Yeah, all right, so you leave tomorrow?

Speaker 3 (33:27):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (33:27):
Good?

Speaker 3 (33:28):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (33:28):
I love I love that you have the Internet package now?

Speaker 3 (33:32):
Yeah, thank you, Josh. And I'm going on amtrak to
New York for fourteen dollars, right did you see it?
And yeah, I get on the boat like one o'clock.
Do you think there'll be food when I get on

(33:53):
right away?

Speaker 1 (33:54):
There's got to be some kind of reception food absolutely.
Oh and casinos you have to be out over regular.

Speaker 3 (34:00):
Water, oh, international water. I can't so so in New York,
I can't go right to the casino. I have to
wait till we get out.

Speaker 1 (34:10):
Nine miles out. Yeah, same thing depends on depending on ports. Uh,
it may be the same way. But dude, get the
ziplocks done done.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
Yeah, it shall be done all right, and I'll have internet,
so well, thank you, Josh. Maybe I'll be eating some
better meals, supposing some sponsorships come in.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
You know, all right, and now you can listen because
now you can stream, all right.

Speaker 3 (34:36):
Sammy, exactly, I got a jump. Goodbye, I love.

Speaker 1 (34:39):
You mean it, talk to you later, very good. Fourteen
bucks on the train.

Speaker 4 (34:43):
Funny, it almost sounded like a sponsorship id, as if
Josh Sellers the Wine Company was providing his internet.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
No, that's a friend's name, just a friend, ye, yeah, exactly,
all right. You know who. It's Kara R a poofa
