Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, can I ask you this, when is the last time?
When is the last time you went camping?
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (00:05):
God, I was for my twenty seventh birthday till like
thirteen years ago.
Speaker 1 (00:12):
Oh my god? Are you that good memory by you?
But that I understand?
Speaker 4 (00:16):
Why?
Speaker 1 (00:16):
So that's the last time that you that you went camping?
Can I ask did you tent camp or sleeping bag camp?
We did?
Speaker 5 (00:25):
We kind of did half tent, half car.
Speaker 6 (00:27):
It was at Ascpeek Island and it was rainy, so
some of us slept in cars and others of us.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
I gotcha, tell you when's the last time you camp?
Speaker 1 (00:36):
And it is? Well, people say, there's like people who
I'm not talking about RV camping, Like I'm talking about
like out like sleeping outside.
Speaker 4 (00:48):
But is that is tent camping?
Speaker 3 (00:49):
Count Yes, So you don't want any sort of protection,
You just want to be out in the open.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
Well, I don't know if anybody's doing that.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
Does anybody just be like, well, I'm to just sleep
in my sleeping bag, like when it's nice out, Like
if you went out to I wouldn't.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
I can't even name a place to camp.
Speaker 6 (01:07):
I would never in my life if I had to
go camping, not be in a tent, but.
Speaker 4 (01:13):
Are there Where did I go?
Speaker 1 (01:15):
I don't camp very often at all?
Speaker 4 (01:19):
Shannytown And then that one time was it did I
go to? Was it Shenandoah?
Speaker 3 (01:23):
Did I go? There? Is there George Washington Park.
Speaker 5 (01:26):
George Washington National Forest.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
That's where I went. Yeah, that's where I went.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
I stayed in a tent there.
Speaker 5 (01:31):
Oh, and I've stayed in.
Speaker 4 (01:33):
A tent in the backyard when the kids were younger.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
I did it once twice because Menino brought his kids
over and we did it once.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
I've done that once.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Okay, But I've always been in a tent. But do
people go like out to that George Washington place that
I went? Would anybody just like lay down a like
they bring all their stuff, but instead of sleeping inside
a tent, would they ever just like roll out their
sleeping bag, like maybe on.
Speaker 5 (01:59):
A or something that ideal bugs?
Speaker 4 (02:07):
Maybe? I don't know.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
I always think about on Saturdays taking a nap on
the deck, but I don't have anything that's suitable for that.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
You know what, No, I'll give you that. I've told
you I'd fallen asleep in the front yard. Before you're
in the grass yeah, no, but that's what I mean.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
That's awesome.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
By the way, like when you fall asleep outside, it's great. Yeah,
falling asleep outside is awesome.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
And by the way, so good for.
Speaker 5 (02:35):
You, which just to be out in the fresh air.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
And yes, yes, and I'm not talking about taking a
nap on a Saturday afternoon.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
I'm talking about going.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
To sleep at night and going to bed for the
night outside, they say, is so good for you.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
It's a total reset of your body.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Do some people, I remember when I was living in
an apartment, some people had some pretty cool balcony setups.
Do some people sleep at night outside in those like
essentially what looks like a room. I mean, they have
so much stuff on their balcony, not in a messy way.
It looks it's cluttered, of course, but but it definitely
looks comfortable.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
Yeah, that would be awesome.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
I mean, yes, it'd be loud in certain cities, but
it's cool.
Speaker 7 (03:19):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
I think it would be great if I could sleep outside.
I think it would be the greatest thing in the world.
But I don't want to get chewed up by bugs. Yeah,
and I definitely don't want to get beaten up. But yeah,
like if I had an apartment balcony, that'd be pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Some people, if you have, like I was saying, on
my deck, I just have regular table and chairs and
some plastic at aronic chairs. I don't have like the couch,
the outdoor couch that some people have. Are there people
that will sleep forget a sleeping bag. They just they're
out there and then maybe they're they're having a drink
or two, or they're just hanging out and then they
just go to bed outside on their deck.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
I don't know if he intends to go to a
bed outside on his deck, but coast guard Kurt does that.
It does, yeah, but it's not like, well, I'm not
going to go inside and go to bed, like he'll
just doze off.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
Not sleeping outside.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Yeah no no, but I meant like bring a pillow out,
lay down and go to bed.
Speaker 4 (04:12):
They say, they say one of the best things that
you can do. What did it say?
Speaker 1 (04:16):
A night under the stars can reset your body's clock,
reduce stress, and more. There seems to be real evidence
that a night or a couple in nature can help
your body and your mind reset.
Speaker 4 (04:37):
So I think that would be awesome.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
And again, it's one thing to be like like I
don't count this, but it's like if you were if
you were, if you were on vacation and you went
and slept by the pool, Like that's not sleeping outside,
that's just falling asleep, but like where you are setting
yourself up to sleep.
Speaker 4 (04:57):
So that gets me back to my thing.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
If you went to any like the park, that wherever
it was that I was, to me, sleeping in a
tent is sleeping outside. But are there people who literally
just take a sleeping bag and like they have their
gear and stuff in the car, like for like if
they were gonna make breakfast or whatever it is, but
they lay out a pad, they get in a sleeping
(05:21):
bag and it's them sleeping bag sky Like there's no
tent or would they say no just because of animals
and bugs or whatever. Well, what about somebody's backyard and
it's a.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
Little more controls.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
Yeah, no, but you're still sleeping outside.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
But and I again, without a tent, just in the
grass in your backyard in a sleeping bag.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
Al Toyto wants to know if you'll count hammock camping.
So you don't have a tent, but you do have
a hammer.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
I'm gonna say yes. I I'm gonna say yes.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
I didn't think of that. I've never been camping.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
I had an early call, for dope's sake.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
No, I would count that.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
I would definitely count that.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
That is not for me. Wait which one hammock well camping,
but definitely hammock camping.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
I told you I had We had a He wasn't
a friend of mine. He was a friend of a friend.
And he used to work for seven months and he
would work doubles, triples, he would do whatever he could.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
He worked at bars and restaurants.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
The other five months, he would travel with a backpack,
and inside a backpack was like essentially a string hammock
that he would just tie between two trees, like on
the beach and sleep.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
I'd be like, dude, you know how this ends?
Speaker 3 (06:45):
And who was this?
Speaker 4 (06:46):
A friend of a friend so you were in super no, no.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
No, no.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
I would see him like he I would see him
when he would come home, and I'd see him once
or twice at.
Speaker 5 (06:54):
A party, and nothing that ever happened.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Not only did nothing bad ever happen. He was number one.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
He was the most well traveled person, and I knew
loved people more than anything in the world. Was the
most trusting person in the world, because he said all
he ever met were like these cool people.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
Who would help him out.
Speaker 5 (07:09):
Lucky.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
Yeah, he never never got jumped, he never got mugged,
he never got beat up. And literally, sorry, seriously, god
damn it, the fix it the uh what are.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
You staring at that die?
Speaker 5 (07:28):
Just asking for a little divine intervention?
Speaker 3 (07:30):
Or were you gonna sneeze there?
Speaker 5 (07:32):
No, I just looked up for a distraction.
Speaker 4 (07:35):
Anyway.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
What I was saying is please, So he would He
would literally just be walking like down the beach somewhere
and see two trees.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
And tie up his hammock.
Speaker 5 (07:44):
It's just good.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
Yeah, And it was like one of those burritos that
would wrap around him. That's right where you go to bed.
I applauded that I'm not that free spirited. I need
cars and ambulances.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
Like I need the city. I like doors with locks,
the those settings probably don't work for all.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
No, not at all, And that that's what they said,
Like if you do this, like they were talking about
how healthy it is for you, don't bring don't get
into your tent and watch Netflix on your tablet.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
Don't doom scroll on your.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
On your phone. Go outside, who as Elliott says, not
as he does. Go outside. The only light should be
the moon and the stars and Venus. This morning you
can see Venus.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
The only sound should be nature. They said, what it
does for the body is so good.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
Now, yeah, I can.
Speaker 6 (08:43):
See you try to convince yourself like to never done it.
Get on board with this, But I think that's a
hard sell for you.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
Let me ask you this. Let me ask you this,
and I know what you said. I want a door
with locks and the whole thing. What if you were
What if you were in a controlled space where that
was locked, where you knew nobody could get to you.
Speaker 4 (09:06):
But you're still outside, sleeping on the grass.
Speaker 5 (09:10):
I need a tent, I'm.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
Why why do you need a tech?
Speaker 6 (09:14):
Bugs like me? I like you, bugs like me too much.
I'd be covered in welts.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
No, No, what if I told you I'm not sure
I could get a tent, but I could get a
sleeping bag.
Speaker 6 (09:27):
Let me know when you get a tent. There is
no convincing me otherwise.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
No, what if we got IRA's zero gravity chair? He
slept outside of the zero gravity chair the other night.
Speaker 4 (09:43):
Did he love it?
Speaker 5 (09:44):
Are those the ones just thing that that you flip back?
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Yeah, you're reclined, but yeah, yeah, they're very comfortable.
Speaker 3 (09:51):
I've sat in one. I've never slept in one, considering
buying one. No, one of the like one of Yeah,
I can tell you when it was.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
It was during during COVID when you couldn't go into
the ranks, and we would sit in parking lots and
drink while our kids played.
Speaker 3 (10:05):
Somebody had a zero gravity.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
Chair and we would, like Robbie.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
Would always hook a TV up in his in his
car so we could watch the live barn thing, I say, Robbie,
like everybody knows Davidowitz and and but somebody had a
zero gravity chair was freaking awesome.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
Yeah, there it is. There's Robby and he's slept on
that right on. Would you do that, Diane? Are that
still no?
Speaker 5 (10:32):
She needs to be zero gravity?
Speaker 6 (10:36):
Yes, the bugs are all over my legs.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
No.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
Well, because he has a short short so you can
wear pants, No.
Speaker 5 (10:44):
I'd still be No.
Speaker 4 (10:46):
What if you were leggings, they get through.
Speaker 5 (10:49):
Any bit of exposed skin is gonna be bitten. No.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
If you're restless in a zero gravity chair, are you
just back and forth?
Speaker 1 (11:00):
Back?
Speaker 3 (11:00):
And forth the whole time.
Speaker 1 (11:01):
What if you're just trying to reach down and scratch
your ankle because you keep getting bit.
Speaker 5 (11:08):
Line two?
Speaker 4 (11:10):
Hi, Elliott the morning.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
Good morning. Hey, who's this?
Speaker 7 (11:15):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (11:15):
This camp?
Speaker 3 (11:16):
Hey, what's going on? Dude?
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Hey?
Speaker 3 (11:19):
So I do.
Speaker 7 (11:20):
It's referred to as cowboy camp, where you just throw
your bedroll out onto the stars. And I like to
go to a place in the George Washington National Forest
called hog Camp Gap, right where the Appalation Trail goes
through the Mount Pleasant Recreational area, and it's a nice
open kind of grassy field. I lay a five by
seven blue foot tarp down full corners down with my shoes.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Lay out my bed roll, and if it starts to
get too much dow or it gets a little rainy
or whatever, I can pull the other part of the
tarp over me. And the other thing is because you
move around, it makes a crinkle crinkle sound. Wild animals
don't want to come around you because of all.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
Sound that makes it.
Speaker 7 (11:56):
I have a pair of binoculars, right, and I.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
Look at the and wake up in the middle of
the night and.
Speaker 8 (12:01):
Look at stars and then later but not you could
use those binoculars to see the guy charging at you
to come mug you.
Speaker 7 (12:12):
Uh, it's it's mostly just through hikers going through there.
Speaker 4 (12:15):
And did you say, did you refer to it as
cowboy camping?
Speaker 7 (12:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (12:21):
Is that?
Speaker 7 (12:21):
Is that?
Speaker 1 (12:23):
Is that a common name for that where you just
throw your sleeping bag on the ground.
Speaker 7 (12:27):
Think about the old black and white movies with the
cowboys when they were hurting, hurting, and they just round
the campfire and they throwing in the bedroll right out
underneath the stars.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
Love a bread balldroll.
Speaker 7 (12:38):
Oh, throw the bed roll out underneath the stars right
there around the campfire.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
It's beautiful, right, it is.
Speaker 7 (12:47):
It's fantastic.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
Does it reset in the middle of your mind?
Speaker 4 (12:51):
Embodying?
Speaker 3 (12:54):
I love doing it.
Speaker 7 (12:55):
I go at least once or twice a summer.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
Wow, good for you, Good for you.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
And I met you.
Speaker 7 (13:01):
I met you at the Tiki takeover for Head and
the Heart. I'm the guy that hiked the Appllation trail.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
I know what happened on that trail. Yes, you do
a little trail. Uh.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
Yeah, I got some gauges all right, very good, but
very very good.
Speaker 4 (13:18):
Thank you, sir.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
You got some domes j trail domes. Do you need
me to stop cars there.
Speaker 4 (13:34):
The what was I going to say that?
Speaker 3 (13:37):
General Brandon is also endorsing the zero gravity chair. I
love mine. It's amazing, Diane, So no, oh, are you
setting her up for the other thing?
Speaker 1 (13:51):
They said, if you're going to cowboy camp, make sure
because you want you want to be warm.
Speaker 4 (13:59):
Yeah, but you also want to be cool.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
Like that fresh air, So you don't want you want
to make sure since you're all you're going to have
is the.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
Sleeping bag.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
You're not gonna have a tent, is you want to
make sure it's the right tent for the right I'm sorry,
the right sleeping bag for the right situation.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
Right where am I going?
Speaker 3 (14:23):
Line one?
Speaker 1 (14:25):
Hi?
Speaker 4 (14:25):
Elliott, the morning, Good morning Elliott, Good morning class.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Hi.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
Who's this? This is Donna.
Speaker 7 (14:33):
So I've been camping forever and I've camped all over
the United.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
States, all over Europe.
Speaker 7 (14:38):
I always put a tent up, but I also always
put a hammock up.
Speaker 5 (14:43):
So I've got my hammock and if anything happens.
Speaker 7 (14:45):
Ray whatever, I can jump in the tent. It does reset.
It's wonderful.
Speaker 3 (14:50):
But the other great thing is sitting around the fire.
Speaker 1 (14:56):
Now, yeah, I mean, if you if you have one
if you if you build one, yeah, I would imagine
that's nice. Like I will say this the only the
only now that I'm thinking, I have camped a couple
of other times, and I can't remember what was the
event that we did at Merriweather where it was a
two day show.
Speaker 4 (15:15):
Was it Virgin Festival? And because I shared.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
A tent with Menino, I think that's that sounds right
because Menino. I remember the son got jacked up with
his knee and he went to the doctor and the
doctor said two things. Number one, don't sleep outside because
it's hot, and make.
Speaker 4 (15:33):
Sure you get sleep.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
And we slept outside in a thousand degree temperature while
they were doing construction work on a lighting rig.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
So it was horrible.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
Was that Elliott City?
Speaker 1 (15:44):
Yeah, we did Elliott City exactly exactly. That was great.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
Did they performed in the middle of the night campsite? Yeah, campside.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
But you know what I was gonna say. The part
that I like, and this is where I think that
it's good for the mind. The couple of times that
I have gone camping, thank you, ma'am, is to take the.
Speaker 4 (16:03):
The like the sheet from the top off. I know
it's like a rain blocker.
Speaker 6 (16:07):
Yeah, but so you can get that little mess so you.
Speaker 4 (16:11):
Could see out, so that way you're seeing the sky.
Speaker 3 (16:16):
And that still brings about the effects.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
So I kind of like that.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
Here's what I want to do, Diane, And you can
cowboy camp at this thing again. You're you're safe, You're enclosed,
but you're out in the open.
Speaker 3 (16:33):
Now.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
I don't follow European soccer at.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
All, but I was reading Manchester United.
Speaker 4 (16:40):
You've heard of them?
Speaker 3 (16:41):
Man You for short?
Speaker 1 (16:44):
Man You is hosting their fourth stadium sleep out on Friday,
November seventh, encouraging fans to help support.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
So they do it.
Speaker 4 (16:53):
They do it for charity, right.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
The event gives supporters those are fans in America, the
opportunity to swap their bed for a sleeping bag for
the night and sleep under the Mancunian night.
Speaker 3 (17:08):
It's a great word.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
Oh under the Mancunian night sky, overlooking the hallowed turf
of Old Trafford.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
A lot of English teams do this, do they really?
Speaker 1 (17:20):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (17:21):
Does Blackburn do it? They do?
Speaker 4 (17:23):
So you do you sleep on the field?
Speaker 3 (17:25):
You can? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (17:26):
And is it just a sleeping bag?
Speaker 5 (17:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (17:30):
I don't.
Speaker 3 (17:30):
I don't believe in the photos I've seen. I'm not
saying every team is the same, and certainly Manchester United
is a much bigger organization, right uh, and their rules
may be different. But yeah, it's very controlled, like you
keep promising, Diane. And there is a charitable element to it,
right that I'm sure that press release had to address.
Speaker 4 (17:51):
It does, Yeah, it does.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
It's supposed to not only be a fun experience for families.
It's not just for adults. They encourage seconds too, but
it is for homelessness awareness.
Speaker 4 (18:05):
Yeah, the one, the one for that man you does?
Speaker 3 (18:07):
They all are? Oh they are? I don't know that
might will be for that? But whatever, where's yours happening?
Speaker 6 (18:12):
Well?
Speaker 4 (18:13):
None of it is sad, but I want to chase
it down.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
You've promised me a man Cunion night.
Speaker 1 (18:17):
Sky if I could get us in a stadium. This
is not why I need mark iin. I'm not putting
this promotion together for five years from now.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
Wouldn't that be cool?
Speaker 7 (18:32):
No?
Speaker 5 (18:32):
Tant huh.
Speaker 4 (18:34):
They don't do any of the tents in England.
Speaker 3 (18:39):
I'm an Audifield.
Speaker 4 (18:41):
No, you know where I want to go. I want
to go to the NATS Park.
Speaker 5 (18:47):
Okay, so we can't do it. In the summer. That's better.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
No, but we could do it. By the way, it's
not said, yeah, thank you. Look at the noe Kristen's.
Speaker 4 (18:57):
Holding up for you right now, Yolo, Diane.
Speaker 5 (19:00):
Okay, I understand, Yolo.
Speaker 6 (19:02):
This isn't part of my Yolo universe of sleeping outside.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
No, you know who?
Speaker 4 (19:08):
You know who I thought of when I saw this.
Jonathan from the Nationals, who is just up here.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
Yeah, so tonight is there is there barbecue and barrels. Well,
we're not doing it tonight. And let me be very clear.
I have not talked to Jonathan about this at all,
but I want to. So we would go to NAT's Park.
It's controlled, and we'd have to do it before the
(19:36):
start of next season because they're not going to let
us do it during the season unless there was a weekend.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
Oh, we can do it during the weekend if they're away.
This was not going to be a weekend. What do
you mean? I was assuming that was.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
I was assuming we would have to do it during
the off season. Yes, because of the grass, right, I.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
Get protecting the ground for sure, right, but if.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
If it was a weekend, maybe they'd let us do
it on the grass.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
Anyway, would they season starts in April, so we'd have
to do it in March.
Speaker 3 (20:11):
Does plastic protective elements from concerts all over the field?
Speaker 7 (20:16):
All right?
Speaker 4 (20:17):
I mean that may be a little hard on my back.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
This is like sitting on the floor.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
Okay, I have some By the way, I have no
clearance to do this, zero. I haven't even talked to
Jonathan about it. But wouldn't that be cool and.
Speaker 5 (20:32):
Turn it into a big party?
Speaker 3 (20:33):
No?
Speaker 4 (20:33):
No, no, no, no no.
Speaker 3 (20:34):
No for homelessness.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
Well no, it's not. Wasn't haven't decided that. Well, I
know what I want to do it for. It would
be for charity, but not a big party. You're missing
the whole You're missing the whole scope of it.
Speaker 6 (20:47):
Oh, I was thinking, like get a band, no beer trucks.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
City, although jet is available.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
Now if you told me we wanted to yet like
somebody to come like play, I'm fine, but we're not
plugging in and going like I'm thinking, Well I'm not.
Speaker 4 (21:09):
Actually, I'm not thinking anybody.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
Can't listeners bring their own acoustic guitars.
Speaker 1 (21:13):
Well we did that at Elliott City. It's a horrible idea.
Speaker 6 (21:16):
Yeah, people are going to get drunk, and opinionated.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Focus seems to be getting hardy.
Speaker 3 (21:25):
This is sleeping bag for one.
Speaker 4 (21:26):
But I'm sleeping too.
Speaker 3 (21:29):
And you know the alcohol attracts the mosquitoes.
Speaker 4 (21:33):
Okay, I do plan on like being able to have
some drinks.
Speaker 3 (21:36):
But maybe not getting it.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
No, Diane wants to Diane's showing up with like four
borgs ready flashing the banditties.
Speaker 3 (21:51):
Diane is a big fan of the front pants down flash.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
Different than mooning, different than mooning the moon right, it'd
be her front butt the no. No, but Kristen, doesn't
that sound awesome? Let's do it right now again. I
have not said a word to Jonathan, but we'd sell,
we'd sell. I don't want to say tickets, but camp
camp areas because I am going to raise money for charity,
(22:22):
not homelessness.
Speaker 4 (22:24):
I'm sorry, unhous diedness.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
The administration took care of that. I think it would
be awesome.
Speaker 5 (22:34):
Too, good charity event she.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
Does not care. You can just tell you can see
you can hear it through the radio. Here's what I
would want to do. If I were gonna do it
perfectly perfectly.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
I would I would turn it into like a well,
definitely be a sleepover.
Speaker 3 (22:51):
We'd have some kind of dinner, not at the stadium.
Speaker 4 (22:56):
Yeah, at the stadium.
Speaker 3 (22:57):
Oh okay, yeah, Like I don't I don't know.
Speaker 5 (23:00):
I have them open up concessions.
Speaker 4 (23:01):
No, no, I don't think Menino's gonna do that.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
But we'll figure something out. But we eat. See, Like,
I can't believe I'm getting he's gonna share my tent.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
Doctor said, is do not go to Elliott City. No,
but we have like some kind of dinner we can have.
We could have responsibly, have a couple of drinks. I
do think it'd be awesome to have like somebody there
with a guitar who can sing like Jet did. Yeah,
and then we get up in the morning and up
(23:35):
our cowboy camp out and go on home, hit the road.
Speaker 4 (23:38):
Watch Diane, Diane's bloody legs.
Speaker 3 (23:40):
I think he's in the tent with love Seed Mama jump.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
No, it'd be like when Tushie Sniff hooked up with
the Vandals, remember that.
Speaker 6 (23:54):
I keep going that sleepover and pool party.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
It was so hot, by the way, I want to
bring that back. Also, I want to bring that back.
I may have a band to do that. The but
do you think people would go honestly, yes, And let
me start with this.
Speaker 4 (24:10):
Do you think Jonathan will go for it?
Speaker 3 (24:13):
I think, based on the back and forth you had
with him the other day that you guys have a
pretty good relationship that you could build on and this
is how you do it. Yeah, and he seems open
to stuff. He's brought a lot of non baseball activity.
It's an ass part. Well that is his job, but
(24:33):
I'm saying he's expanded it. Yes, yes, would he know
like what they do? Like like if I go, hey,
I want to do that man You thing? Would he
know what I'm talking about? It?
Speaker 4 (24:43):
You know that the I'm sorry Manchester United or.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
Man United, they don't like man You.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
Oh okay, I didn't know that, but the Manchester United thing?
Would he know what that is?
Speaker 7 (24:53):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (24:53):
He seems like a fan of sports, so he may right.
But again this is something I mean, listen, I'm a
fam of sports. I've never heard of it. Yeah, that's
the thing that there has to be some interest there
in English football because that's where you see this the most.
As far as I as I know, Yeah, I think
it would be great. And this is not Elliott City.
Speaker 4 (25:13):
Let me repeat, this is not Elliott City.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
There was there was a dude at Elliott City who
missed the entire second day of the festival because he
got so high after night one.
Speaker 3 (25:30):
What was the tie in? Maybe it wasn't, because I
know that there were there are a ton of spot
not sponsors, but partners for that event, right, including I
think I wasn't Hudson Outfitters.
Speaker 4 (25:43):
That's an outfitter set up supplied and set up our tent.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
Yeah, and Roostico was on the promo or.
Speaker 1 (25:50):
I would die before I would do anything with Roostko again.
I said that I'd rather be I'd rather be homeless
than need at.
Speaker 3 (25:56):
Roost Toko earlier this week version of mobile. Obviously it
was a part of it with the fest. But what
was the thing you kept coming you came back with
and you kept mentioning something about like J C. Penny
They Oh, no, yes, what was that?
Speaker 8 (26:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (26:14):
What are they?
Speaker 5 (26:15):
What did they provide?
Speaker 2 (26:16):
No?
Speaker 3 (26:16):
They didn't. It was like something with codes, or's hot
buns or I don't remember.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
Hold on, this is rude. Bear with me for a second,
one more second.
Speaker 5 (26:42):
He's just gonna turn the mics off and have.
Speaker 4 (26:45):
A phone because I don't know what I can say.
Speaker 3 (26:47):
I don't know what I can say. I did I
say too much mentioning J C. Penny. I'm not sure
it was J C.
Speaker 4 (26:53):
Penny.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
But wasn't there a guy who had like his kid
there who wasn't supposed to have his kid there?
Speaker 4 (26:58):
I don't remember.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
It's the tide of the No, he's not like, he's
not like he abducted the kid or something.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
That's where I found him.
Speaker 4 (27:10):
I don't remember what it was.
Speaker 3 (27:11):
I don't remember what it was. Maybe Steve Ville next
time he talked to him.
Speaker 4 (27:15):
Didn't we It wasn't the promo Take me down to
Elliott's City. It's been a paradise city. That was great.
And remember that guy saying it all night?
Speaker 3 (27:23):
Remember that he was so drunk.
Speaker 5 (27:25):
Take you down?
Speaker 3 (27:28):
Oh my god, what a mess.
Speaker 4 (27:31):
I don't know, but this will be nothing like that.
Speaker 3 (27:36):
H Okay and Budweiser bud Light were sponsors. Thank you, Keith, Jesus,
you're brought to you by list. It was longer than
the actual promo, Yes, it was. Yeah, we got a
lot going on. We had a lot going on.
Speaker 4 (27:50):
There's so much weed. The okay, who's talking to who's
talking to?
Speaker 6 (27:55):
John?
Speaker 3 (27:55):
Okay? I'll talk to him. All I care about would
people go. I'm seeing initial responses here and they're all
and it would be for charity. I don't think people
cared about that, but it makes it that much.
Speaker 5 (28:08):
No.
Speaker 1 (28:08):
No, well, people don't care about that until they find
out like that. In order to raise money for charity,
I'm gonna have to sell your way in. Yeah, it
won't be expensive. He's gonna be more than five bucks.
Speaker 4 (28:19):
Yeah, I ain't doing all that. God, it's gonna bother me.
What did that guy do with that kid?
Speaker 5 (28:28):
Sounds weird?
Speaker 3 (28:32):
Maybe John Walsh knows.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
And through all of this, we'll be making ourselves feel
better by sleeping outside
