Speaker 1 (00:00):
I hope all of our winners and all of their
guests and everybody that was there had a good time.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
They did, I hope.
Speaker 1 (00:05):
So I feel like I talked to a lot of
people and it seemed like everybody was doing well.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
And you know what, didn't bother me as much as
I thought it would. What do you mean, No, no, no.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
Notomo the Yes, I thought i'd be really bothered by
not riding any rides.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
I think the meetup was a good distraction for you.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
Yes, one hundred percent.
Speaker 4 (00:26):
Now people would tell us, and I feel like they've
made a point to really inform you when they were
leaving the meetup to go right exactly, or or oh,
we've been riding rides all day. We got here when
the park opened, been on so many rides.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
So yes, people did go out of their way to
tell me.
Speaker 4 (00:45):
But they gave us such a massive space. You were
sort of shielded from all of the thrills because you
were in I can't believe how big that.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
Pub was, oh, Philip, Yes, yeah, No, they gave us
a good size there. Absolutely, they gave us a really
good size area. And you know, and can I just
real quick and by the way, Kristen, if anybody, if
anybody who was there on Friday wants to check in,
I'd love to hear from you. Eight six six to
Elliott eight six six two three five five four six eight.
(01:16):
But listen, Friday, it was hot. It was hot outside
and even inside filaments where it was cooler, it's still
a little warm. Yeah, thank god, thank god for Budweiser.
We had free beer and free neutral for everybody. That
was a nice little That was a nice little bonus
(01:37):
to just be able to walk in and walk up
to the bar and go, hey, can I get a
couple of bud lights and then go here you go
and go ah, thank you don't have to pay. That
was great, So thank you very much to my friends
over at Budweiser. So yeah, plenty of bud light, plenty
of Neutral.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
So that was good. But everybody was so nice.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
No, seriously, like nobody was a dick, nobody was angry,
nobody was nobody was up my ass about something.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
Everybody could not have been friendlier.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
It had lovely conversations.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
It was very very nice. Biggest shock of the whole time.
Speaker 4 (02:16):
Against shocked to is it well you said that you
didn't feel pressure.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
No, I didn't. I didn't. I didn't. I don't know Diane.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
Oh but no, Diane, who has sworn off ever riding
a roller coaster, and she can.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
Yeah, Diane got up on the on the road, the
sky winder, that's okay. Yeah, but you went with it?
Was you, Jonesy Hayley, Sydney.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
They were with us.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Oh, that was a different group that went. Oh I didn't.
I don't think I.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
Realized that that was Kristin Jones. Could you ride with Diane, Me,
Diane and Kenneth?
Speaker 5 (03:00):
Yeah, oh no, I sat with Kristin.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Who'd you sit with?
Speaker 3 (03:04):
By myself?
Speaker 2 (03:06):
That's by yourself? Because this way? Who did Jones sit with?
Kenneth Gnith?
Speaker 5 (03:10):
At the front?
Speaker 4 (03:13):
People you like roller coasters and they're like, well, let's
sit in the front row, And I've never done it.
Speaker 5 (03:18):
I didn't say i'd do that.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Why have you never sat in the front row of
a that's too much for me? No, No, you either
sit in the front or the back.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
I was in the second row.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
Front or back are awesome.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
So it was definitely an exciting ride, and I liked it.
But I've never I've never even put my hands up
on a roller coaster.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
Sorry, are you serious? Well, because it says hold your
hand rail exactly.
Speaker 4 (03:40):
You have to be crazy to be a coaster enthusiast. No,
you just like the ride as it's intended to be ridden.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Yeah, with your hands up.
Speaker 6 (03:49):
Kristin was like, do you want to sit in the front.
I was like, listen, I'm getting on its shot and no,
I will not put my hands up.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
That was a shot because you you had sworn off
that you would never ride a roller coaster again, and
I'm glad you did because it's it's different when you
have the ability to do.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
It and you do it.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
Kristen was screaming during the ride, get your hands up, son, son,
and I wasn't pressured. We both didn't succumb to fear.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Pressure of it.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
I wanted to go on rides so bad though, I
really did. When I first walked in, Kristin was on
the rage and Cajun and like I could. They were
like waiting to see her, yeah, because they were like
they were in the car.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
But it was right that moment before you go and
I look back and she's up there. She's like, what up? Son,
raging Cajun. I would have I couldn't have done.
Speaker 5 (04:44):
I couldn't have done the spinny one.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
The spinny one that's also a roller. I couldn't have
done any of them. Like even the stairs, the swings,
I couldn't have done.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
Yeah, we took pictures of you looking forlorn checking them out.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
But I enjoy watching it, you know what it is.
I enjoyed seeing everybody happy. And that sounds kind of
like a pussy ish thing to say everybody had time. Yeah,
I know, but I want to be part of it
having a great time. And I did have a great time.
But I wanted to ride the rides. I want to
ride the rides.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Now, you were unable to ride Wild One.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Oh yeah, that one was closed but it was.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
Oh here's the problem with Wild One, which was the
whole reason Big Sean Studd was there, is because his dad,
Big John Studd, was the was the TV spokesperson. And
when we first got there, Wild One was open. And
then one of the cars started smoking really bad.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
Yeah that's what did Tristan see it? Smoking?
Speaker 1 (05:44):
No, no, no, And then somebody tried to say it
was just them vaping while they were in line, but
I don't think that was the case.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
So I guess there's a red car in a blue car.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
I guess one of the red cars was smoking something fierce,
so they had to shut that down.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
Now, they did run some employees on it to test it,
but I don't know.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
I don't know ultimately what ended up happening, but that
that was shut down.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:06):
So obviously we wanted to beat the oldest operating coaster
in North America over one hundred years, and we were
unable to get an opportunity to do that.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Now we were able to get on, hold on, because
this is what was sent to me more than anything
else over the weekend. U.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
I want to make sure I have the name right.
I want to make sure I have the name right.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
Are you talking about Steam World?
Speaker 2 (06:31):
Yes, steam Whirler. We were able to ride that.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
Now. I didn't ride it, it was open, A lot
of our listeners did. And it was in Steamtown where
we got the extra hour of park riding. But then
that got shut down on Saturday and sent somebody to
the hospital.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
That was related to the heat, not the ride.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
No, that was related to the extra hour of Steamtown
when we were there the day before.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Not true. And like I wrote on Snapchat, because there's
video of.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
You watch watching it looks awesome, I.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Wrote, despite what you saw on Instagram, he wasn't plotting anything.
I had nothing to do with him.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
So they totally had to rescue every single person.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
People on the ride. One of them had to be
sent to the hospital.
Speaker 5 (07:18):
So no one was therelated.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
Yeah, unrelated, but related to the lawsuit.
Speaker 4 (07:24):
At some point on the ride, you do get pretty
close to the bottom. They were all in positions that
needed assistance.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
Yeah, I mean they rescued all thirty two people off
that roade.
Speaker 5 (07:32):
Yeah, they were all too high up.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
And again I had nothing to do with it. Maybe
it was the extra hour that they kill the park
open for us.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
I don't know. But listen, it didn't affect any of
our winners.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
No, nothing happened.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Our winners were great. They got to write it.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
They got to write it for the extra hour. You
know who didn't get to write it. The thirty two
people they got, well, they got to write part of
it and then they got to ride an ambulance to
the hospital.
Speaker 5 (07:57):
Only one related, right, Yeah, it.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Was hot line one. Hi Elliet in the morning. Hi, Hi,
who's this.
Speaker 7 (08:10):
Frankie?
Speaker 1 (08:12):
Frankie, Hey, were you at six Flags with us on Friday. Yeah,
is there an adult with you? Ah?
Speaker 2 (08:22):
Yeah, oh there you are. Hey dude, how are you
doing good?
Speaker 8 (08:27):
Are you Elliott?
Speaker 2 (08:28):
Excellent? Excellent? Did you guys have fun on Friday? Oh yeah,
that was good.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
Where's your favorite ride?
Speaker 5 (08:36):
Dude?
Speaker 9 (08:39):
The Roar.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
Which one? Oh yeah, yeah, I couldn't ride that.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
I couldn't ride that. I'm too much of a well,
I can't say that. The Well, dude, I'm glad you
had fun. Dad, you had a good time. Oh yeah, excellent, excellent,
very good. Well, thank you, thank you for joining us.
There were so many you know who, you know who.
I was very excited to meet Tan Trick, Toby. Oh yeah,
oh met Tantrick. Toby and I met sex therapist Andrea Dawn.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Yes, I have her card.
Speaker 5 (09:12):
She said she would be willing to answer any questions you.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
May have, and so did Toby.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
Toby said he would also be able to answer any
questions every and Toby could.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Not have been nicer.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
This was the guy who called us, who had like
five hour sex sessions with his wife. The whole time
I was talking to him, I was like, Dude, that
dude is just like a sex machine.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
You pulled me out of a conversation to meet him.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Yes, I did. I was like, you got to meet Toby.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
I might have been talking to Angela at the time,
who was so sweet her and her partner.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
And then do you remember this goes back? Do you
remember the listener, the guy? He was a guy but
he worked at Victoria's Secret. Yeah, did you meet him?
Speaker 2 (09:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (09:55):
Michael?
Speaker 1 (09:56):
Oh, okay, Yeah, Michael gave me a gift that I
was supposed to bring in today. It's for all of
us or just you, to keep in the studio. It's
a measuring tape from Victoria's Secret. So he was like,
you could have your shortened curlies, but you could also
have a titty tape, which is what they used to
call it at Victoria's Secret to measure the girls.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
It's a titty tape.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Yeah, I'll bring that in. I meant to bring it
in today. We'll Jackie be surprised when she finds it
sitting on my desk.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
But yeah, I meant to bring that in. But yes,
he brought them.
Speaker 4 (10:29):
I told him I was wearing one of the colognes,
but because it was a little warm and we were
a little sweaty, I felt like the scent had maybe
washed away.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
Oh, I was wearing the scent ode to pitt Stink.
It was bad.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
I was sweaty, but again not as bad, not as
sweaty as Big Sean it was.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
He made sure I was aware for the photo on
Instagram of how sweaty he was before I got in there.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
Line, Hi Ellie in the morning, Good morning, Randy.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
What's going on dude?
Speaker 8 (11:06):
Not much. I just wanted to thank you all again.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
Did you have fun?
Speaker 8 (11:10):
I did. It was great to finding me twisting in person,
and she was beautiful and awesome. It was good to
see you all. It's been so long since I've seen
you all. I introduced myself again when I saw you.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
Yeah, that's how long I will say this, Randy. I
gave Randy a big hug. Randy smelled great. Yeah, yeah,
Randy smelled really good.
Speaker 8 (11:33):
But I will say, oh no, it was great to
see Tom me and him down the bumper cars together.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Oh good.
Speaker 8 (11:39):
I don't matters family, but when I left, I honestly
I feel like I don't have to do another thing
park ever again?
Speaker 5 (11:46):
Ever again?
Speaker 2 (11:47):
Wait?
Speaker 8 (11:47):
Why I mean, Ellie, I'm older now like I was woozy,
I had a headache. I don't know. I was like, yeah,
I'm going on forty. I think that's it for me.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Which way? Which which ride? Which?
Speaker 10 (12:07):
Right?
Speaker 2 (12:07):
Jacked you up?
Speaker 8 (12:09):
Definitely the roar? I mean I hated that since I
used to ride it back in the day, but you know,
I was being a team player and wrote it again.
But I still I was like, man, that and Firebird.
Firebird was fine. I did that two times in the
road because you know, once the part closed it you
just sit on the ride again.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (12:28):
Right, And I think I hit my head a couple
of times, so I'm like, yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Was that on? Was that on Steam Whirler? Is that what? Wait?
What is it? What it was the one that got
shut down?
Speaker 3 (12:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Steam Worlders.
Speaker 8 (12:46):
I didn't get on that. I didn't get on I don't.
Speaker 5 (12:48):
Like those kind of right, that's that's too many different directions.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
No, but it's it's all an optical illusion.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
I thought, maybe you hit your head and that's what
knocked it out of whack for the next.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
Head nothing to do with putting that out there.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
You know, what ride I really wanted to go on?
Speaker 1 (13:05):
What was the pendulum ride that also spins?
Speaker 2 (13:09):
What is that one?
Speaker 3 (13:11):
Like the one that broke in Saudi Arabia.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Exactly exactly. What are the odds this one would go? Well,
they've said that about steam whirler.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
What was that. No, I can't ride the swings, Randy,
you know that.
Speaker 6 (13:24):
No, it's like it's a pendulum, but at the same
time you're on a big circular thing.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
Wait, what is it?
Speaker 8 (13:29):
Yes, yes, I know what you're talking about.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
What is it? Watch?
Speaker 1 (13:34):
Oh my god, she's yelling at me. Well, turn your
goddamn microphone on. You're gonna yell. I can't hear what
it is. I also wanted to do Tower Drop.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
Oh hi, Christy, it's the Wonder Woman. Oh oh that's right,
that's right.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
Yeah, that broke in Saudi Arabia.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
Oh well, yeah, it's different because it also didn't snap
in half. Hey, Randy, do you go on any of
the water rides.
Speaker 8 (14:00):
No, I'm telling you that time flew. I got there
for like four fifteen, I think, and then I try to,
you know, make my way to you all first, but
you all weren't starting until five. So we got on
a couple of things. But by the time we were
headed through the water park, it was saying they were
closing at six thirty, so I couldn't get over there
(14:21):
on town. But yeah, it's really six Flags should have
shut down that Friday night. It's just so I can't
even describe it, like an old time carnival that the
locals go to and they don't even want to go anymore.
It just was, yeah, I'm starting. I'm just saying, like,
you know, I be going since I was.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
Yeah, it was.
Speaker 8 (14:46):
Even at the gate Elli, you know, I had my
tickets and they couldn't scan them in and uh the
girl had a broken iPhone scanner, saying So the other
girl that worked there, she was like, I mean you
have I said, six of us. She was like, just go.
It was, you know, all.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
Right, all right, hey, well Rady, I'm glad you had
a good time. Sorry about your wooziness.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
Oh boy, okay, very good.
Speaker 4 (15:16):
The ride you're thinking about it was the Harley Quinn. Okay,
that's like the one that broke in Saudi Arabia.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
Oh yeah, that's that's me.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
Yeah, I wanted to go on that, and I hate
a pendulum ride. But the screams streams coming off of
that were great.
Speaker 4 (15:36):
Remember those I can't do. But according to Jones, I
can't even do a roller coaster, right.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
I don't know why you won't put your hands up.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
There's a reason. There's a place to hold on too.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
If you need it.
Speaker 3 (15:48):
I need it.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
You're not going to.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
Come out of it, says everybody on steam Whirler.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Now you're fine.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
No one fell on Steamwler.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
I just know thing to do. It was the next day.
It was the next day. They said there were too
many miles on it from the night before.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
Elliott. Seriously, Hi Elliott in the morning, is this me? Yeah?
Speaker 9 (16:08):
Hi?
Speaker 2 (16:09):
Who's this?
Speaker 10 (16:10):
Ah?
Speaker 11 (16:10):
This is Brian. I'm calling for Frederick.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
Oh. Hey, were you there with us on Friday?
Speaker 11 (16:15):
I was, and I wanted to thank you, but I
didn't get to meet you because I lost my keys
on the one roller.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
Coaster which sorry, which roller coaster did you lose your
keys on?
Speaker 11 (16:26):
I'm pretty certain it was the one right down from
where the meet and greet was.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
Oh, on on Skywind?
Speaker 11 (16:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (16:34):
What so you lost your keys? How did you manage
to get them back?
Speaker 11 (16:39):
Nope?
Speaker 8 (16:39):
Nope.
Speaker 11 (16:40):
Had to call somebody to drive from Pennsylvania to bring
me another key.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
Oh no, wait, is Pennsylvania far from PG County? Well,
it's not close, so somebody had to drive. But did
they get there before the park closed?
Speaker 11 (16:55):
About five minutes after the park closed, because I realized
that I was actually on my second beer waiting for
you guys to get to the meet and greet. When
we figured out that I didn't have them.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
Oh my god, dude, that's horrible. I feel horrible for you.
Speaker 11 (17:09):
I mean, that's my own fault.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
Did you did you at least have a good time?
Speaker 11 (17:14):
I did. Once we realized they couldn't find him, I
came back and took carry or took advantage of the
open bar.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
There you go. Good. No, I'm glad that. I'm glad
that paid off for you. Excellent, excellent, All right, my friend,
I appreciate it. Thank you. I'm sorry you lost your keys.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
You know who one of my favorite couples was, And
I mean listen, we met so many people, and so
many people were so nice, so nice. The couple that
was on their first date. Oh yeah, they met up.
So they met online? Did you meet them?
Speaker 3 (17:46):
I don't think they told me the story if I did.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
So, they met up online, and I guess they had
met online and had been chatting a little bit, leading
up to Friday night. They met Thursday evening and stayed
at a hotel together right by the park. No, I
swear to God, two different rooms, no same room. They
(18:12):
got up on Friday, they cleaned up and that like themselves.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
They took a shower and stuff like that, and then there.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
So their first date was going to the amusement park
in that in that nuts and they didn't meet up
Friday morning to then go to the park. They met
up Thursday night and spent the night together. After they
had just been chatting online. They had never met each
(18:42):
other face to face.
Speaker 5 (18:44):
It seemed like they were getting along well at that
six Flags.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
How hot is that? I love that? Loved it.
Speaker 4 (18:52):
I thought the people that drew from Charlottesville were crazy
from Ocean City.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
It was, it was, It was great.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
It was so much fun and I did I met
so many people. The meet and greet was awesome. The
meet and greet was great. Am I going to line one?
Speaker 3 (19:13):
Seawan was awesome.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
Yes, Sean was fantastic.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
He was right back in his his wrestling.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
He wants to get into it.
Speaker 10 (19:21):
I encouraged him not to what he was getting. He
was getting like a charge out of it. Yes, by people,
no offense. There was nobody at that part. You were like,
that guy could be a professional wrestler. So yeah, he
was getting old jazzed up.
Speaker 4 (19:37):
But it was like the mic skills and stuff, the promos.
Oh what he was doing, that's what he missed.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
Yes, but he's still I don't want him to go
put his body through it again. Nicest guy in the world, though,
the nicest guy in the world.
Speaker 4 (19:52):
He gave me a glossy. I had put a photo
on Instagram stories over the weekend of an original John
appearance when his dad would go there in person and sign.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
Wait a minute, Big Sean brought you a picture of
Big John and it was the pictures he used to
sign at the park.
Speaker 3 (20:17):
He found them.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
I got a titty tape from a Victoria's secret.
Speaker 4 (20:21):
He found them in a box and it's exactly what
