Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it we'll have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
See, I told you don't doubt me, and again I appreciate.
I'm my email box filled with people because you said this.
You said this is because what's gonna happen. Yeah. Does
it make me some sort of miss Cleo mister Cleo
suit sayer Whoopy Goldberg from ghost reading tarot cards? No no, no,

(00:36):
no no no, no, no no no. I just I
know these people. I know these people, these crooks, these charlatans,
these liars, Oh yes, beyond Fox and MSNBC, and they
got their fancy suits on and they're looking out for
the folks. They're looking out for the people. They're full

(00:58):
of it. Told you this is going to happen. I
told you Republicans were going to cave again on spending.
And look we got yep, yup, yup. House Speaker Mike Johnson. Ah, yes,
he unveiled his ninety day band aid to avoid yet

(01:21):
another government shut down. Another band isn't amazing Every year
band Aid after band aid after band aid. You see
you people in Congress who have one job, one job,
Your main job is appropriations, and you you can't even
do that. You can't even you can't even do your

(01:45):
damn job. But let me tell you something. This is
by design. Oh oh, what did we tell you as well?
Did we or did we not tell you that he
was going to pull the Save Act from the bill.
He did, he did, he pulled it from the bill.

(02:05):
And let me let me tell you what they've got
going on right here. This is just how you're being duped. Okay,
this is how you're being ripped off. Oh, not to mention. Okay,
here's another here's another loaded junk. They're given the secret
Service another two hundred and thirty one, Like more money

(02:26):
is going to actually solve the problem. What a crock?
What a what a bunch of b s? But anyway,
what's interesting is this this bill? You know what it
punts to. Oh, it funds the government until when December twentieth.

(02:47):
Every year, every year they do this, they push it
right before some vacation or hey, this is perfect, let's
push it right before Christmas time. Then we'll come up
with some big omnibus spending bill. At that point in time,
the American public they're not They're paying attention to Christmas

(03:08):
and Christmas shopping, and no one's paying attention to the
news at that point in time. And then what we
do is we shove this down the American people's throats.
In essence, all of the politicians that have been there
for a long period of time get their little pork
bill projects stuck into this grand omnibus bill. And it
doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if it's Republican or a Democrat.

(03:33):
You see, this is the thing, folks. Okay, I mean
to sound harsh here, Okay, all right, do a little
bit of George Carlin here. You think you have a choice?
You think you have a choice? I laugh, I really do.
I laugh at the end of these people out there.
They think that there's this big, big, massive, huge difference

(03:56):
between the parties. Okay, it's an illusion of choice. It's
an illusion of choice. That's what we have here in
this country. Oh short, sure you you have choice when
it comes to that. You know the myriad of different
coffee choices you can get at Starbucks or I don't know,

(04:18):
a myriad of different breakfast cereal choices, but a choice
when it comes to running this country. Mm hmm, no way,
no how. These these people both said that there they're
buddies with one another, for crying out loud, they all
know one another, they hang out with one another, they

(04:41):
went to the same schools. Uh yeah, I saw this thing,
and I said to myself, I said, why even bother,
Why then, why even by your vote counts? They want
to your vote counts. Yeah, your vote make count. Quite frankly,

(05:01):
your vote might count on a local level within your
local community. And quite frankly, that's what I advise people
to do, is take pay closer attention to how your
community is being run because the choices that we have
at the federal level, it's few and far between, quite frankly,
very few. You know, there are some people that most

(05:23):
certainly stand out, you know, as people that are really
different in trying to make the country better. And again
they're both sides of the aisle. Robert F. Kennedy, Junior,
Tulsey Gabbard, Rand Paul Thomas MASSI. I mean there's some
there's some good people out there. There's no doubt about

(05:44):
it at all. But again, this is exactly what's going
to happen. It's going to be the exact same thing.
It's going to be all of these little piggies, all
these little politician piggies lining up at the trough. You're
not paying attention. No one in the news is paying attention.
They don't want to. And guess what, we're going to
go further into debt. They're going to put it on
my kid's credit card, my god willing someday future grandkids

(06:08):
credit card. And we're supposed to smile and like it
all because we didn't shut the government down. It's embarrassing people,
it's really pathetic and sad. Watchdog on Wallstreet dot Com
