Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it we'll have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
What you have just said is one of the most
insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point
in your rambling, in coherent response were you even close
to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone
in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.

(00:38):
I award you no points, and may God have mercy
on your soul. I alluded to that yesterday one of
the podcasts Billy Madison, Yeah, that was in the movie
Billy Madison Adam Sandler in a debate. Anyway, I'm sorry, folks,
it's getting worse instead of better. Kamala Harris last week,

(01:04):
she's on the View. Oh there's a real difficult interview
right there, and she laid out a plan to require
Medicare to cover long term home care for all seniors
who can't live independently. She says this is going to
help what she calls the Sandwich generation. These are Americans

(01:26):
who are taking care of children and aging parents. Again again,
she who cares about the cost of this or the
taxpayer obligation. Home care on average costs about two hundred
and eighty eight thousand dollars a year.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Where's that money gonna come from?

Speaker 2 (01:48):
She says that it could be financed with the government
saving money on drug price controls, and I quote, we're
going to save Medicare the money because not going to
be paying these high prices. Again, maybe you should just
be honest and just say, maybe we should just make

(02:09):
like that sci fi movie Logan's Run and we just
you know, you got you got a certain time that
you live and then that's it.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
That's it. You got to check out. It was a
pretty good sci fi movie by the way. Anyway. Again,
on our sixty minutes interview, they tried to ask Kamala
Harris about how she planned to pay for her twenty
five thousand dollars down payment assistance, thirty six hundred dollars
child tax credit, six thousand dollars baby bonus, universal pre

(02:40):
K paid family leave her answer.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Other economists that reviewed my plan versus my opponent and
determined that my economic plan would strengthen America's economy, his
would weaken it, He prodded.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
You didn't answer the question.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
My plan is about saying that when you invest in
small businesses, you invest in the middle class, and you
strengthen America's economy. Small businesses are part of the backbone
of America's economy. That line backbone that is directly out
of the comedic movie with Will Ferrell and Zach galifanakas
the campaign Filipino tilta World.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Workers are the backbone of this country.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Car wash detailers and window tinterers are the backbone.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Of this car I mean, you can't make it up.
And he asked her again, and she went back on
her Democratic Party usual making the richest pay their fare share.
There's not enough money. There's not enough. You could confiscate

(03:50):
it all.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
You could not just the one, but to confiscate the
top ten, confiscate the top twenty percent.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
There's not enough money to pay for all of this nonsense.
This is it just gets dumber.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
And in all of my life, I haven't I mean,
the the amount of ridiculous ideas that are coming out
and I'm being sorry.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
I'm sorry. Not just Kamala Harris. You know, Trump's got
a new tax deduction every damn day. For crying out
loud it is. It is beyond dumb. Watchdog on Wall
