Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it will have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Florida is fascist. According to joy Reid, she obviously doesn't
understand what the word means. She has no concept of
what the word means. Again, she gets paid millions upon
millions of dollars to be a talking head on MSNBC.

(00:40):
Florida's fascist time. You mean the state that opened up
when everyone else was shutting down due to COVID state
where yep, you don't guess what. You have the right
to bear arms. A state where we just codified you
have the right to hunt and fish. I go on
and on and on. Here, you know a state that managed,

(01:02):
she was, managed to count all their votes within an hour,
where other states weren't able to do that. A state
that runs a budget surplus. Yeah, Joy Reid had a
collective meltdown on MSNBC because of what has happened in
Florida and the fact that you have a governor down here,

(01:24):
Ron DeSantis, that has turned a state and then you
could take a look which was a purple state. Rights
purple state could go either way. Obama won Florida, where
Donald Trump won by one but almost two million votes.
Nothing even close here. What how could that be? How

(01:49):
could that be? Oh, it must be all the Republican
transplants moving from other states here. I'm not saying that
doesn't have anything to do with it, but well, you know,
success kind of cells, success cells. And when you watch
you watch government, and again I'm a huge, very highly

(02:11):
critical of government, but when when you when you watch
government run the right way where it's government is kept small,
and it again stays out of people's lives. Another reason
why Joy Reid freaked out. There was a couple of
amendments on the ballot. One was a had to deal

(02:34):
with abortion, and it won the popular When I think
I got fifty six percent, you have to get sixty
percent for constitutional limits here in the state of Florida. Basically,
it was a six week, six week ban. Anything after
six weeks abortion is not allowed. And it was also marijuana,

(02:55):
and they there was again the marijuana bill was deeply,
deeply flawed and that loss too. Now again, if you
want to smoke marijuana in the state of Florida. You
can get anybody to sign off on, you know, some
sort of piece of paper because they have dispensaries everywhere
here and say it's medical. But I can't argue with

(03:18):
the fact that, again I'm a libertarian guy. I am.
I'm a libertarian guy. But I also believe that you know,
you don't want to bother other people, just as much
as you know you don't want to go to a
park or a playground where kids are playing, whatever it
may be, and you know, see people you know drunk.

(03:41):
The same thing holds true with seeing people that are
smoking weed and getting stoned. Again, I have no problem.
Right people want to smoke, do what they want in
their their own home. That's fine. But again, speaking from
arts in the state of New York, it's it's gross now.

(04:04):
It's gross now, and it's actually funny. When I was
in vacation this past summer in Greece, I was longing,
you know, wow, can I smell the cigarette? I was
longing for the actual the smell of a cigarette rather
than the smell of marijuana everywhere. Again, not a very
good amendment. Again, that's what the sand has pointed out,

(04:27):
it didn't win.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
You.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
You actually have true democratic process in action here in
the state of Florida. Yet you get again, those these
horrible people, misusing words that they don't understand, looking to
scare others, and again, can I make a suggestion to
all of you left us out there that hate the Santis,

(04:51):
hate the state of Florida, love making fun of it.
Don't come don't come here, don't come on vacation. You
just go somewhere else. I don't care. Go go to Hawaii.
Hawaii always votes blue. Go there. Don't come down here.

(05:12):
If we're so awful and we're so terrible, and we're
just a bunch of bumpkins down here in the state
of Florida. Watchdog on Wall Street dot Com
