Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact that we'll have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Trump's education agenda this is great. And again he's putting
out videos to go along with this, which are kind
of funny as well. You're going to see the left
kind of have you know, their heads are going to
start exploding to some degree in regards to things that
(00:38):
they're putting out and they got nothing. I mean, you
even see it on social media. The people really need
to be worried about Trump's education agenda are teachers who suck. Yeah,
if you suck at what you do, you might lose
(00:58):
your job.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
But hang old Gordon Gecko on you.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
I'm a big believer that you either do it right
or you get eliminated.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Okay, here's some of the principles here storing parental rights.
Trump turning back to tide on indoctrination, the fundamental rights
for storing strying and respecting the fundamental right of parents
to control the education, healthcare, and moral formation of their children.
He wants and supports the rights of parents to know
(01:32):
what their children are being taught in the classroom, To
be able to openly communicate any of their concerns with
teachers and principles to protect the privacy of their children.
To be made aware of changing academic standards. To be
updated of any acts of violence occurring at the school,
and to inspect professional development materials. To be notified before
(01:53):
an out of school guest speaks in class or at
a school event. To review the budget and spending of
the children school. To know if a school employee is
working to address bullying or mental health concerns. To consent
to all students surveys related to health, to have the
right to opt out of school healthcare services, and to
(02:13):
be immediately notified if a teacher other school employee has
worked to change their children's name, pronouns, or understanding of
his or her gender. What's wrong with that?
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Nothing? Nothing.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
He's going to reverse all those gender affirming care policies
we've already talked about that here on the program. He's
going to also inform states and school districts that if
any teacher or school official suggests to a child that
they could be trapped in the wrong body, they will
be faced with severe consequences, including potential civil rights violations
(02:58):
for sex discrimination and the elimination of federal funding.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
Hallelujah.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Amen, it's gonna promote positive education about the nuclear family,
the roles of mothers and fathers, and celebrating rather than erasing,
the things that make men and women different and unique.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
Again.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Amen, and hallelujah, it's gonna ask Congress if pass the
bill establishing the only genders recognized by the United States
government are male and female and they're determined at birth.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Again. We can go to kindergarten cop.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
I love citing that all the time, with the little
boy there in kindergarten cop telling Arnold Schwarzenegger that boys
have a penis and girls have a vagina. They were
right on that one. Yeah, great principles, great teachers here,
This is good. Great schools require great teachers, and great
teachers demand great principles to ensure children are receiving the
(03:57):
education they deserve. We're gonna encourage parents and local school
boards to hire and ward great principles and teachers and
fire poorly performing ones.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
Wow wow.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
As a novel concept for I mean it's pretty much
what works.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
In everything in everything in life, but we don't do
it in schools.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
To ensure that America students have received the best possible education,
we're gonna support the direct election of school principles by
the parents. Any principles not performing to a high standard,
parents should have the right to fire them.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
And select someone who will Any problem with.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
That, No, no, no no. And he's been this thing
that you can go online and his Agenda forty seven
and all the various different studies that they do supporting
all of this. And again, he wants to reward good teachers.
He wants to implement funding preferences and favorable treatment for
(04:55):
states and school districts that abolished teacher tenure forgetting it's
through twelve adopt and they're at pay to reward good
teachers and give parents the right to vote for the
principals who direct their children's education. Again, tenure is ridiculous.
It's absolutely ridiculous. To this day, they still got you.
(05:18):
In New York, they got what they call rubber rooms
or whatever, where crappy teachers you can't fire them. They
eventually get them out of a classroom and they just
sit there all day reading books or playing solitaire or
whatever the hell they're doing. Yeah, anyway, knowledge skills, not
CRT and gender indoctrination. President Trump will get critical race theory, trends,
(05:42):
gender ideology, and left wing indoctrination out of our schools,
and he will get reading, writing, and arithmetic back in
so that young people will have the knowledge, skills and
train they need to get a great job and lead
a successful career.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
Problem with that, me, neither me, neither another hallelujah Amen
again what we got here under Joe Biden?
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Too many of America's schools have developed into left wing
and doctrination Centershere, students are underperforming, mental health is worsening
in school, violence is spiraling out.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
Of control, and political activists in.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
The classroom are teaching our children a one sided and
distorted view of American history. And again talks about all
of the declining test scores during the Biden administration and
also school closures as well, all these shutdowns and how
they negatively affected students. Again, He's going to cut federal
(06:45):
funding for any school pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity,
and other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content on our children.
And he will pursue civil rights investigations into any school
that engages in race based discrimination. He will get the
left's equity agenda out of our classrooms, and he will
(07:07):
get excellence back in our classrooms. Again, how many times
here in the program we would make fun and also
on the radio show as well, canceling valleve victorians and
all of these things where you know, kids are excelling
and it's not fair and rocketed?
Speaker 3 (07:23):
Are you out of your mind? You gotta be kidnemed.
Love of country.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
I'm going to fight for patriotic education America's schools. Notwithstanding
that America is founding. Principles of liberty and equality have
successfully guided the United States throughout the most difficult periods
in its history, including the long struggle to abolish slavery,
our victories over fascism and communism, the advancement of civil
rights for all, and the expansion of material prosperity to
(07:52):
more people of every background. In a remarkably short period
of time. Decades of poor scholarship have vilified and the
principles that they championed, and have taught many of our
young people to hate their own country.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
You know this Trump had put.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
This thing was called the seventeen seventy six Commission, and
Joe Biden got rid of it his first day in office.
And it was basically to ensure that kids learned about
our nation's history and basically the principles here.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Why would you.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
Abolish something like that freedom to pray. Trump will fiercely
protect the First amend and right to pray in public schools.
Wuld ensure that every American's fundamental right to the free
exercise of religion does not end when you walk in
the classroom safe, secure, and drug free. Greatness in the
(08:47):
classroom requires safety in the classroom. To that end, it
is going to completely overhaul federal standards on school discipline
to get out of control trouble makers go on out
of the school and into reform schools and correctional facilities
for the good of themselves and their peers alike. This
(09:08):
will include supporting immediate expulsion for any student who harms
a teacher or another student. No more leftist takeover school
discipline and the juvenile system. It's going to order the
Departments of Justice and Education to overhaul federal standards on
disciplining miners to get violent thugs out of our children's
classrooms so they can get the professional help that they need.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
When troubled youth.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
Are out of control, the consequences must be swift, certain
and strong. He's going to allow school districts to allow
highly trained teachers to carry concealed weapons at school, which
will reduce the threat.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
Of school shootings.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
And it's something I said a long time ago, a
long time ago. It would be a great deterrent. It's
also going to support the federal funding to hire veterans,
retired police officers, and others trained gun owners as arm
guards in our nation's schools. That will help deter unhinged
maniacs and keep our nation's children out of harm's way.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
Again. A left hates that they start freaking out.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Over that, and I'm like, it's not like you have to.
You know that we're showing the gun. Okay, thirty eighth,
get my pocket. You don't even know that I have
it on me for crying out loud. They have air
marshals on airplanes, right, But I have a similar type
of situation in school and they're there, but the bad
guys don't know where they are. Universal school Choice JOUB sports,
(10:37):
Universal school Choice so that parents can send their children
to the public, private, or religious schools that best suit
their needs, their goals, and their values. Freedom and education
increases school accountability. Heritage Foundation report found that school choice
creates a feedback loop that does not exist in the
more centralized, top down systems like the district schools. Leads
(11:00):
to higher graduation rates, higher parntal satisfaction and involvement, lower costs,
increase competition, and higher reading in math and meeting and
math test scores.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
Again, I don't have any problem with that at all.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
I'm a big believer that the money should follow the
student where they want to go. Project based learning America's
students are more successful, more engaged, and more prepared for
real world experience when their education involves hands on projects
that aim to approximately what real world work situations will
(11:34):
demand of them. Trump's going to support project based learning
inside the classroom to help train students for fulfilling work
outside the classroom, internships and work experiences. For many students,
that path through a great job is a great internship
or part time work. For that reason, Trump will implement
funding preferences for schools that actively work to help students
(11:58):
secure internships part time, time work, summer jobs that will
set them on a path to long and fulfilling careers. Again,
all great stuff jobs in career counseling. Implement funding preferences
for schools with job and career counselors on hand, because
getting a great job best suited to your God given
(12:18):
talents should be a primary goal of education. Crying out loud,
I'm reading this stuff. It sounds like my damn show.
Identifying what you're good at? Identify what again, God given talents,
all of us are unique and different, and channeling that.
(12:42):
School counselors can pay a vital role in helping students
identify their life's purpose. Having a purpose can be highly
motivating and encourage students to develop skills and persistence toward
meaningful education, life and career goals. Again, any problem can
(13:02):
logical issue with anything that has been said here. We've
ripped in the education the problems here in this country,
and again we need workers in a myriad of different fields.
(13:23):
We need in so many different things. Not every kid
should go to college, nor nor is every company out there.
Now they're starting to understand this needing to hire college
grads can do a lot of training for many different
jobs in teching, a myriad of different things in school,
(13:45):
so you don't get kids into, you know, hundreds of
thousands of dollars a debt for no reason what so ever.
Speaker 3 (13:52):
That's why you go to school, so eventually go out
and get a job and provide for yourself and your family.
That's what it should be about, and that's what we
need to redirect.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
It is and again no problem with it whatsoever. Watchdog
