Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact that we'll have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Could it be maybe maybe I can actually get what
I've wanted for such a long period of time. Flying car? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
I got the old Austin powers there. All I asked
for sharks or freaking laser beams attached. No no, no, no, no, no, no,
no no no. All I asked for is George Jetson's car. Okay,

(00:38):
all the tech stuff that we've put forward. You know,
I'm not interested in having some like emoji on the
new iPhone or some of the crap that they put
on there. All I asked for is a flying car. Anyway,
go over some more Trump agenda items here, and I

(01:00):
got a kick out of this one. I got a
kick out of this one. You know, you're talking about
some of these presidents they put out some of their
moonshot ideas which are just number George W. Bush with
his switch grass and allergy and all this stuff for
fuel that doesn't work and costs us a ton of money.

(01:22):
Trunk's got flying cars. Yeah, here's some of his some
of his things here. As far as transportation, we will
lead the way in air and mobility to develop vertical
takeoff and landing vehicles for families. Love it, Love it again.

(01:44):
I don't get Musk on that and gets you know,
some of the people there in Silicon Valley. To me,
that's a that's a win win. Some of the other
ideas that we're seeing thrown out right now. One third
of the United States land mass his own, owned by
the federal government. One half of one percent of that land,

(02:04):
we should hold a contest to charter up to build
ten new cities. He wants to call them freedom cities.
I don't know how that's going to work out. I
really don't. I'm going to have to see the details
on that one. Forgotten communities will be hives of industry
by producing goods no longer imported from China. We'll see,

(02:28):
we'll see. Moonshot cost of Living major initiative lowering cost
of living focus on lowering the cost of a new
car and building beautiful single family homes again Moonshot. I
spoke with the story. I spoke with the builder here

(02:50):
in Tampa, Florida this past weekend. He's got some thirty
some odd projects going right now, new homes being built.
He told me point blank he could have three hundred
if he wanted to, based upon the people that are
inquiring done out. The workers don't have the workers, they

(03:15):
wouldn't be able to look at their hands on materials.
How you're going to rectify that. That's a part of it.
It's a part of it. Unless Elon Maysks, I don't know,
his some sort of robots or something to help build homes.
Congress to support baby bonuses for young parents, to help

(03:36):
launch a baby boom. Yeah. Again, I'm not a big fan,
not a big fan of just throwing money at parents
to have kids. Launch a modernization and beautification campaign, get
rid of ugly buildings. How about get rid of really

(03:58):
ugly artwork everywhere and get rid of ugly buildings, refurbish
parks and public spaces, make cities and towns more livable. Okay,
all good things. Again, Devils in the details. This one, though,
I liked a lot. Again, I called for this, and

(04:19):
he's calling for it as well. He actually just went
after Gavin Newsom and some of the things that he's
are going to protect California from from Donald Trump. And anyway,
one of the things he put out a tweet about
knew somebody also said he's going to be demanding that
voter ID and proof of citizenship are a necessary part

(04:39):
and component of the voting process. Again, I said, this
should be first thing you got. Eighty five percent of
the population is behind us bipartisan get it done. You
the Democrat they would have to vote for it, for
crying out loud, most of them would eighty But anyway,

(05:03):
We're going to continue to uh cover Donald Trump's ideas
that I think are grounded in reality, and we'll also
talk about his moonshots as well. Man oh Man, what
I love that flying car? Watchdog on Wall Street dot
