Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it we'll have on everyday Americans author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst and trader Chris Markowski.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
American foreign policy, and our collective need to repent Again.
I don't have a mental disorder. I can actually admit
when I'm wrong. I can admit when I'm wrong and man,
own man. Was I wrong supporting George W. Bush back
in the day. I want to share with you a

(00:37):
story that again made me sick to my stomach, and
I'm going to be honest with you. Is my way thinking.
I'm responsible for this. I am partially we voted for
George ws We are collectively responsible for this. Iraqi lawmakers
passed a bill that allows nine year olds to be married,

(01:05):
nine year olds to be married. You see, we invaded
this country, Iraq, and in essence, now we've allowed Iran
and the Shias to take over and basically they're going
full Taliban right now, full Taliban? Yeah, yeah, yeah, girls
nine years old. Now they just passed this bill. We

(01:29):
did that, They've gone backwards. Now if you go back,
you take a look at history. All of this was
made illegal in Iraq. It was like nineteen fifty nine.
We did that. We broke it anyway, at some point

(01:50):
in time, at some point in time. We have to
have that come to Jesus moment as a country that
we've screwed up a lot when it comes to form policy.
And again, shame on me, uh for supporting and believing
George W. Bush. Back in the day. It was interesting.
You know John Bolton, John Bolton and friends. Uh, yeah,

(02:14):
they're getting you know, they're getting their security clearance lifted.
John Bolton just also lost his security detail. Here was
Donald Trump, John Bolton and Dick Cheney convinced George Bush
to blow up the Middle East. We got nothing out
of it except a lot of death. Why did you
remove John Bolton's security clearance, sir? Because I think that

(02:35):
was enough. Time you take a job, you want to
do a job. We're not going to have security on
people for the rest of our lives. Why should we? Right,
he's right again. I'm watching watching the inauguration and looking
at George W. Bush. It looked like he looked like
he dropped a freaking potgummy for crying out loud anyway,

(02:58):
you know. And again I know I'm gonna get this
because I've got this before when I've talked about this, Well,
what was you know, it would have been? It would
have been better if the what are you gonna You're
gonna vote for Al Gore? I'm gonna vote for John Kerry. Yeah,
I don't know. Again, you'd some strong in army. You
don't know what would have happened. I don't know. Maybe

(03:18):
it'd been better, Maybe I don't know. Okay, Well, let's
just be honest here. We wrecked that place. We went in.
We spent trillions of dollars there, trillions of dollars in Afghanistan.
We have trillions of dollars to kick out the freaking
Taliban for twenty years. And guess what, the Taliban is
in charge, bigger, stronger and better than they ever were.

(03:42):
For crying out loud, We did that, you know. And
I get the crazy warmonger types out Russian may trying
all this. This is Donald Trump's tweet, Donald Trump's tweet
that he put out regards to Russia. I'm not looking

(04:02):
to hurt Russia. I love the Russian people and always
had a good, very good relationship with President Putin. And
this despite the radical lefts Russia Russia Russia hoax. We
must never forget that Russia helped us win the Second War,
losing almost sixty million lives in the process. Again, that
is a point that I've brought up here on the
program that again, no one in the mains who puts

(04:25):
that into perspective, Okay, no one. We Again, we the
sacrifices that we made here in this country world War one,
world War two were incredible. But again we don't have
that perspective by any stretch. We're not in their shoes
of having something like that happen. We have them. All

(04:48):
of that being said, I'm going to do Russia. Poe's
economy is failing, and President Putin a big favor. Settle
now and stop this ridiculous war. It's only going to
get worse if we don't make a deal. And I
have no other choice to put high levels of taxes, tariffs,
and sanctions on anything sold by Russia to the United
States and various other participating countries. Let's get this war,

(05:09):
which would have never started if I were president, over with.
We can do it the easy way or the hard way,
and the easy way is always better. It's time to
make a deal. No more lives should be lost again.
Oh oh, look the Hawks, they don't like this. Oh no,
don't talk to Russia. Oh no, no, don't talk Disisi

(05:32):
in ping. Oh no, no, no, no, yea being buddies.
What do you what do you kidne me? Have you?
Have you taken a look at our track record when
it comes to wars going back to World War Two?
At some point in time, can we can we get
back to the principles of the founders? Oh isolations, we

(05:56):
can't be isolations. Yeah we can, Yeah we can. We
can look to solve problems. And it was one of
the best things that Trump said. You want to be
a peacemaker. You want to end wars. You want prosperity
around the globe, not more war. And I know, I know,
you know, the defense business, the defense contractor is not

(06:18):
gonna like it. Screw them. Kennedy knew it. Eisenhower, we
all knew what was going to happen, and we didn't
do a damn thing about it. We allowed them to
take over. And again, we have a lot, We've got
a lot to repent for that Watchdog on wall street
